Stefon Diggs’ release in New England raised plenty of eyebrows -- but not Warren Moon’s.

We caught up with the Hall of Fame quarterback after the news of Diggs’ release broke, and the legendary QB tells TMZ Sports the move made sense given the circumstances surrounding the veteran receiver.

“You know, it doesn't surprise me,” Moon told Babcock moments after the news broke. “He brings a lot of baggage wherever he goes right now. He has off-the-field stuff, and he wasn't as productive over the last part of the season as he had been in the first part of the season.”

The move is notable considering Diggs actually produced in his lone season in Foxborough -- starting all 17 games and hauling in 85 catches for 1,013 yards and four touchdowns while serving as Drake Maye’s most targeted receiver in the young QB’s second season.

Brooklyn Beckham rang in his birthday surrounded by his wife, Nicola Peltz, and close friends ... 'cause TMZ has learned there's still radio silence between him and his famous parents.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... Brooklyn has not spoken to David or Victoria Beckham at all -- even on his birthday -- despite both of them posting loving tributes to him on social media.

We're told Brooklyn still has his parents blocked on social media, meaning he didn't even see their birthday messages directly. According to our sources, Brooklyn feels the public posts come off performative ... which is a sentiment he and Peltz have had throughout the family's ongoing feud.

A women’s college basketball game turned into absolute chaos Wednesday … after a massive brawl broke out during the Sun Belt conference tournament -- leaving a referee sprawled out on the court and eight players ejected.

The melee erupted with just over five minutes left in South Alabama’s game against Coastal Carolina in Pensacola.

Coastal’s Tracey Hueston and South Alabama’s Cordasia Harris exchanged words under the basket. Seconds later, Hueston started swinging -- letting loose a right hook that narrowly missed Harris’ face -- igniting a full-on scrum as players and coaches rushed the court.

As officials tried to break it up, one referee was knocked down and lay flat on the floor while staff and medical personnel sprinted in to help.

Luke Kornet might wanna peep this -- the folks at Magic City are addressing the backlash surrounding their tribute at an upcoming Atlanta Hawks game ... saying the establishment has so much more to offer than just strippers.

A spokesman for the university athletic department tells us that Paige Shiver's contract expired and was not renewed.

Moore was fired by the Wolverines for cause in December 2025 after an investigation determined he had an "inappropriate relationship with a staff member." It was later revealed the woman, eventually identified as Shiver, went to school officials with evidence of their relationship after it ended.

Myles Garrett got another speeding ticket last month -- this time, cops say they clocked the Cleveland Browns superstar going 94 in a 70 MPH zone.

TMZ Sports has confirmed the defensive standout's green Porsche was pulled over on the highway on Feb. 21 around 1:35 AM ... hours after he showed face at the Miami (OH) basketball game against Bowling Green.

Although he was busted going 24 over the limit, the cop noted the two-time Defensive Player of the Year was "kind and cooperative" in the remarks section of the ticket.

Lou Holtz, one of the most accomplished college football coaches of all time, has passed away at the age of 89.

"Louis Leo 'Lou' Holtz, legendary college football coach, Hall of Famer, bestselling author, and one of America’s most influential motivational voices, has passed away at the age of 89 in Orlando, Florida, surrounded by family," his family announced in a statement.
