Moments later, something draws the attention of nearby bystanders, who turn towards Freeman's direction as what appears to be the alleged shouting match with the New Prairie assistant coach Chris Fleeger.

Notre Dame football head coach Marcus Freeman will not be charged with a crime after an altercation at his son's high school wrestling match earlier this month.

The alleged incident occurred on Jan. 3 at Mishawaka High School in Indiana, when Freeman -- head coach of the Fighting Irish since 2021 -- was there to watch his son, Penn H.S. senior Vinny, in the Al Smith Wrestling Invitational.

When Vinny lost a match, New Prairie assistant coach Chris Fleeger allegedly got into a verbal altercation with Vinny, Freeman, and Vinny's coach, Brad Harper.

Brian Ortega, Mackenzie Dern UFC Stars Hit Golden Globes ... Take That, Meryl Streep!!!

Published

Turns out maybe there is art in Mixed Martial Arts ... 'cause nearly 10 years after Meryl Streep famously called out the sport during the Golden Globes ... the UFC was front and center at the same show to hype up its Paramount deal!!

Brian Ortega and current women’s strawweight champion Mackenzie Dern made a brief appearance during Sunday night’s 83rd Golden Globes on CBS, which now owns the U.S. broadcast rights to the MMA organization for the next seven years.

A quick refresher on why this is quite notable -- while Streep was accepting an award at the 2017 show, she gave a speech calling out President Donald Trump. When making a comment about diversity in Hollywood, she said, “If we kick [outsiders and foreigners] out, you'll have nothing to watch but football and mixed martial arts -- which are not the arts."

George Kittle 49ers' Star Numbs Pain With Patrón ... After Tearing Achilles

Published

San Francisco 49ers star tight end George Kittle may have gone down Sunday with a torn Achilles, but the party apparently didn’t stop in the locker room.

After the seven-time Pro Bowler was carted off the field in the second quarter with a devastating injury, Diana Russini reported she spotted a team employee walking into the locker room with what appeared to be a bottle of tequila.

She followed up postgame, confirming it was in fact a bottle of Patrón -- that was now empty -- after the 49ers dethroned the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles 23-19 in the NFC’s Wild Card round.

The San Francisco Standard says 49ers owner Jed York entered the locker room after Kittle’s injury to ask if there was anything he could do to help … and “within minutes” a bottle from his suite was delivered to the locker room per Kittle's request.

Whether he went solo or shared with teammates is unclear, but one thing’s for sure: pain turned into party despite Kittle's leg giving out.

“We lost another one of our brothers today, the heart and soul of this team,” star lineman Trent Williams told reporters postgame. “But instead of guys feeling sorry for us and feeling sorry for him, we decided we were going to play for him and try to pull it out for him.”

San Francisco has been plagued by injuries all season, yet has advanced to face their NFC West rival, the Seattle Seahawks, in the divisional round after a gutty victory.

Kittle may be out for the rest of the playoffs -- but the party is still very much in session.
