Drake Maye's got Donnie Wahlberg reconsidering his February plans ... 'cause he tells TMZ Sports the New England quarterback has him legitimately wondering if the Patriots could actually make the Super Bowl this season.

We caught up with Mark's older bro out in NYC on Tuesday -- and the Pats superfan told us with the way Maye and New England's defense have stepped it up recently, he's wondering if his favorite team could make a championship run this year.

"I didn't know that it was possible a few weeks ago," Wahlberg said of a potential Pats title, "but it could be!"

"The Blind Side" star Quinton Aaron has been on an up-and-down battle with his weight, but right now he's up ... by being down 200 pounds.

Quinton tells TMZ, "At my heaviest, I was 575 pounds. As of today, I am 370 pounds."

What's even more incredible ... he did it all without Ozempic. Quinton says he tried the drug about a year ago because he's diabetic, but stopped after he had an allergic reaction.

Cleveland Browns wide receiver David Bell has announced his retirement at just 24 years old ... claiming an "off-field injury" is forcing him out of the sport of football.

The former Purdue Boilermaker shared the news on his social media account on Tuesday ... penning an emotional note titled, "Thank You Cleveland."

Bell -- who went down with a season-ending hip ailment in Week 2 of the 2024 season -- explained he dealt with a shocking setback "several months ago" that landed him on the non-football injury list.

Former New York Jets star Nick Mangold says he's in need of a kidney ... and now, he's asking his fans for help in finding one.

The seven-time Pro Bowler revealed on his Instagram page Tuesday he's been dealing with kidney issues for decades -- and "after a rough summer" this year, he's in search of an organ donor.

"Unfortunately," the 41-year-old wrote in a lengthy statement, "I do not have family able to donate at this time, so this is why I'm reaching out to you, our NY Jets and Ohio State communities."

New police video TMZ Sports has obtained shows Richard Sherman was agitated with cops during the night of his arrest last year.

The footage was captured on a Washington State Patrol squad car camera back on February 24, 2024 ... after Sherman was allegedly caught speeding and swerving while in his Tesla on a Maple Valley, Wash. roadway.

In the clip, you can see multiple cops arrive on the scene after Sherman had been pulled over and allegedly admitted to having "two margaritas" before getting behind the wheel.

3:15 PM PT -- Brian Branch is reportedly appealing the suspension.

Brian Branch has just been suspended for starting that wild brawl after the Chiefs vs. Lions game on Sunday night.

The league announced on Monday it was banning the Detroit star for one contest without pay ... calling his actions, "aggressive" and "entirely unwarranted."

It's not yet clear if Branch has plans to appeal, though the NFL stated it is an option on the table for the 23-year-old.

Sandy Alomar Sr. -- the father of ex-MLB stars Roberto Alomar and Sandy Alomar Jr. -- has passed away at 81 years old.

The league confirmed the news on Monday ... after a local outlet in Puerto Rico reported the former California Angels star suffered a medical incident just a week prior to his 82nd birthday.

Alomar Sr. spent 15 years playing in the big leagues ... suiting up for six different teams. He finished his career with a .245 average, 13 home runs and 282 RBIs. While he didn't have much pop, Alomar Sr. was a threat on the basepath, stealing 227 bases during his career.
