Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam is finally admitting what the Dawg Pound has been saying for years -- the trade for Deshaun Watson was nothing short of a disaster ... calling it a "big swing and a miss" on his part.

Haslam spoke about the 2022 transaction with reporters on Monday ... and he bluntly confessed it hasn't worked out for the organization like he had hoped -- which will shock no one.

"We took a big swing and miss with Deshaun," Haslam said, according to Mary Kay Cabot. "We thought we had the quarterback, we didn't and we gave up a lot of draft picks to get him. So we've got to dig ourselves out of that hole."

Frightening moment for Richard Sherman's family ... the wife of the future Hall of Famer shared surveillance photos of several armed men inside their Washington state mansion over the weekend -- and cops tell TMZ Sports they're now investigating the alleged burglary.

Ashley Moss -- who married the former NFL star in 2018 -- posted a few screengrabs from the couple's home security system on social media, with timecodes showing the incident happened on March 29.

The images appear to show two men, who Moss says were armed with guns, in jackets and face masks lurking around the home late at night ... with one of the intruders holding what looks like a duffle bag.

Tributes have been pouring in following the death of martial arts legend and actor Richard Norton ... including from his friend Chuck Norris, who says he's "heartbroken" following Norton's death.

The 85-year-old took to social media ... where he shared several throwback photos of the two, including a pic from a fight scene they had in the movie, "The Octagon."

"The wonderful memories we shared will forever be cherished in my heart. Richard, you made me not only a better martial artist but a better person. You inspired so many, and your legacy and impact will continue to live on for generations to come," Norris wrote.

Deshaun Watson's fiancée, Jilly Anais, isn't just receiving lavish jewelry lately ... she's giving it out, too -- asking her brother to be her "man of honor" with an expensive Rolex!!

Anais' brother, Jules, shared the amazing gift on his Instagram Story over the weekend ... revealing the luxurious watch, which appears to be the Oyster Perpetual Datejust 41.

"My sis stepped different asking me to be her Man of Honor," Jules said.

Sweet gesture from Lakers head coach JJ Redick -- he held a special basketball clinic on his day off on Sunday for kids who have been impacted by the recent wildfires in L.A.

Los Angeles' sideline manager put on the one-of-a-kind camp in conjunction with his LA Strong Sports foundation ... inviting a bunch of little tykes to help learn ball at the Lakers' practice facility in El Segundo.

Richard Norton -- who trained A-list stars in martial arts including Ben Affleck, Margot Robbie and Scarlett Johansson -- died over the weekend.

The industry legend died on Saturday in Melbourne, Australia according to his wife Judy Green. In her announcement of his death on Instagram, she wrote ... "I am numb and devastated, I have no words, I have lost my everything"

She continued ... "I know there is, and will be lots of love and shock that we have lost this incredible human being" adding she's using this time to come to terms with his death.

Hulk Hogan and his wife Sky Daily may have just responded to the Hogan family drama ... and they seem amused.

Malcolm LaVergne, the special administrator of O.J.'s estate, tells TMZ ... the Bible of the former lawyer sold at auction for $80,276. He says he doesn't know who the lucky buyer is but notes that whether you loved O.J. or hated him it's clear "his legacy endures."

The estate's auction brought in an estimated $300K in sales. Other items that sold included a personally signed and framed photo of O.J. and former President Bill Clinton which went for over $18K. Also sold was a replica of O.J.'s 1968 Heisman Trophy for $42,700.
