Greg Louganis Husband Files For Divorce ... They Say Decision Was Mutual

Published
UPDATE

6:23 PM PT -- Greg tells TMZ ... he and Johnny are mutually ending their marriage.

UPDATE

Despite the split, Greg says they feel grateful to have been among the first gay couples to be able to marry legally, and he's thanking those who supported the couple over the years.

Olympic hero Greg Louganis' marriage is coming to an end after nearly 8 years of matrimony.

The diving legend's husband, John Chaillot, has filed divorce docs. According to court records, John submitted the paperwork last Friday in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

Greg, who won 4 gold medals at the 1984 and 1988 Summer Olympic Games, tied the knot with John in Malibu back in October 2013 ... about 4 months after they announced their engagement.

The Olympian and paralegal started dating in 2012, meeting through the online dating site Match. It's unclear what led to the split. They did not have any children together.

It's the first divorce for Greg, who's also famous for his work post his diving career -- he's written books, acted in movies and is a well-known activist for gay rights and HIV awareness.

NFL's Mason Rudolph Hits Beach W/ GF Genie Bouchard Slinged-Up Swimmin'!!!

Published

Arthroscopic surgery can't stop Genie Bouchard from having a super cute playdate with her NFL boyfriend, Mason Rudolph ... with the star couple hitting the beach in Miami on Friday!!

The 27-year-old tennis pro revealed she went under the knife earlier this month to fix a torn subscapularis ... and has been on the road to recovery ever since.

Part of that rehab?? Catching some rays with her 25-year-old Pittsburgh Steelers QB boo for a bit to kick off the weekend -- but don't worry, it looks like Genie switched to a waterproof sling before hopping in the water!!

As we previously reported, GB and MR went "Instagram official" back on Valentine's Day earlier this year ... after they started dating back in fall 2020.

They've been on a hot streak ever since ... and Friday was no different -- Rudolph appeared to help apply sunscreen on Genie's face and make sure she kept her balance while getting hit with waves.

Genie -- sporting a white bikini -- looks to be in great shape as she's on the mend ... and Rudolph showed off his quarterback bod while rocking some blue trunks.

Luckily for Rudolph, there were no helmets in sight.

NFL's Cole Beasley I'm Never Getting COVID-19 Vaccine 'I'd Rather Die Actually Living'

Published

"Hi, I'm Cole Beasley and I'm not vaccinated! I will be outside doing what I do. I'll be out in the public. If you're scared of me then steer clear or get vaccinated. Point. Blank. Period."

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley just went on a passionate rant on his decision to NOT get vaccinated -- not now, not EVER -- saying, "I may die of COVID, but I'd rather die actually living."

The 32-year-old has been going OFF on Twitter over the past 2 days ... calling out the NFL Players Association over new protocols for unvaccinated players during preseason.

Long story short -- vaccinated players will pretty much be able to go back to normal, while unvaccinated will still be required to wear masks and stay at the team hotel ... among other restrictions at team facilities.

While folks have raised the question -- why not just get vaccinated? -- Beasley makes it clear that's not an option ... and will sacrifice whatever it takes to stick to his beliefs.

"I don't play for the money anymore," he added. "My family has been taken care of. Fine me if you want. My way of living and my values are more important to me than a dollar."

"I'm not going to take meds for a leg that isn't broken. I'd rather take my chances with COVID and build my immunity that way."

"Eat better. Drink water. Exercise and do what I think is necessary to be a healthy individual. That is MY CHOICE based on MY experiences and what I think is best."

Beasley says if he's forced to walk away from football over his stance, he'll welcome it with open arms and make up for all the time he's missed with his family over the years.

But, Beasley says he's not alone -- he claims a lot of other guys in the league feel the same way ... he's just not afraid to say it.

"A lot of other NFL players hold my position as well but aren’t in the right place in their careers to be so outspoken. I feel for you and I’m hoping I’m doing my part to represent you guys well."

FIFA Punishes Mexico Soccer ... Over Fans' Anti-Gay Chants

Published

FIFA has just dropped the hammer on Mexico's men's soccer team ... hitting the national squad with sanctions over their fans' anti-gay chants.

The soccer org. announced Friday that Mexico will have to play their next two home games with no fans in attendance after their supporters repeatedly yelled homophobic language during games in March.

FIFA also announced it's fining Mexico around $65,000.

There could be more punishment coming down soon as well ... FIFA officials said they're also looking into other games in which Mexico supporters hurled anti-gay chants.

"The committee has also opened separate proceedings against the FMF in relation to homophobic chants by Mexican fans at their team's friendly match against Iceland played in Arlington, Texas, on 29 May 2021," FIFA said in a statement.

It's unclear if FIFA will also launch a probe into Mexico's most recent CONCACAF Nations League games, in which refs had to pause play due to the crass chants from the crowd.

Mexico's next two official games are slated for Sept. 2 against Jamaica and Oct. 7 against Canada.

College Baseball's Sang Ho Baek Dead At 20 ... After Complications From Tommy John Surgery

Published

Sang Ho Baek -- a freshman on George Mason's 2021 baseball team -- died Saturday after his Tommy John surgery turned tragic ... his teammate, Scott Morgan, has confirmed.

The pitcher recently underwent the elbow procedure ... and in a statement on a GoFundMe page, Morgan announced Baek ultimately passed away due to complications from it.

He was just 20 years old.

"After battling through injuries throughout the season, Sang required Tommy John surgery," Morgan, a GMU outfielder, wrote in the GoFundMe statement.

"He suddenly passed away due to complications with his surgery. As a team, we are all mourning his passing."

It's been reported Baek suffered a blood clot while trying to recover from the procedure.

Baek played in seven games for the Patriots in '21 ... and his GMU head coach, Bill Brown, said he was "an incredible teammate."

"He will be missed and forever cherished in our hearts," Brown added.

RIP.

Denmark Soccer's Christian Eriksen Released From Hospital 1 Week After Collapse

Published
UPDATE

9:52 AM PT -- 6/18 -- Awesome news -- Christian Eriksen has officially been discharged from the hospital ... less than 1 week after his terrifying collapse.

UPDATE

The Danish Football Association released a statement Friday ... saying, "Christian Eriksen has been through a successful operation and was today discharged from Rigshospitalet."

UPDATE

"Today he also visited the national team in Helsingor -- and from there he will go home and spend time with his family."

UPDATE

Eriksen also released a statement ... adding, "Thank you for the massive number of greetings -- it has been incredible to see and feel. The operation went well, and I am doing well under the circumstances."

UPDATE

"It was really great to see the guys again after the fantastic game they played last night."

UPDATE

"No need to say that I will be cheering on them on Monday against Russia."

Danish soccer star Christian Eriksen is getting a "heart starter" implanted to his chest soon ... a big step toward ensuring he never suffers another terrifying cardiac episode again.

Denmark national team doctor Morten Boesen made the announcement Thursday ... saying after multiple exams on the athlete, specialists have determined the 29-year-old needs an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator.

"This device is necessary after a cardiac attack due to rhythm disturbances," Boesen said.

"Christian has accepted the solution and the plan has moreover been confirmed by specialists nationally and internationally who all recommend the same treatment."

As we previously reported, Eriksen went into cardiac arrest during last Saturday's Denmark vs. Finland game in Copenhagen ... and the scene was horrifying.

Eriksen collapsed on the pitch and needed a defibrillator to be revived ... and he's been in the hospital ever since.

Eriksen, though, has been in good spirits while recovering -- the soccer player posted an update from his hospital bed earlier this week saying, "I'm fine -- under the circumstances."

It's unclear if Eriksen will be able to play soccer again ... but he did make it clear he'll certainly be cheering on the Denmark team as it takes on Belgium on Thursday.

Calvin Johnson Happy Stafford's Out Of Detroit ... 'Sucked They Didn’t Let Me Go'

Published

Calvin Johnson says he's THRILLED to see his ex-teammate Matthew Stafford get traded from the Lions to the Rams ... but the WR admits it "sucked" Detroit didn't let him move on to another squad before he retired.

35-year-old Johnson has distanced himself from the Lions following his abrupt retirement in 2016 ... a relationship that still hasn't been mended, despite his Hall of Fame announcement in 2021.

Megatron spoke about how things got so sour in an interview with Woodward Sports this week ... saying he begged the team to let him start fresh with a different franchise before retiring -- and they refused.

"We asked would they release me or let me go to another team ... they wouldn't," Johnson said ... adding he was willing to play literally "anywhere."

So, when the Lions granted Stafford's trade request after 12 seasons, Johnson hints he's a bit jealous he didn't get the same treatment.

"You know what, it sucked that they didn’t let me go, but they let Matthew go, but hey, you know, it is what it is," Johnson said.

"I’m not mad at Matthew. I love Matthew."

In fact, Johnson says he talked to Stafford this week ... and claims the QB is loving his new home on the west coast.

As for his relationship with the Lions, Johnson is open to making peace with the organization ... if they ever want to extend that olive branch.

"I’m not back in the family with the Lions or anything like that," Johnson added. "It would be nice to if they try to resolve things, but that’s neither here nor there."

Johnson is one of the best to ever suit up for the Lions -- he was a 3-time All-Pro and a 6-time Pro Bowler. He also set the record for most receiving yards in a season (1,964), had 8-straight 100-yard games, caught 83 career touchdowns and posted 11,619 total yards.

No matter what his relationship is with the team, Johnson says he'll always be there for the players.

"I’m always here to support the players. That’s what it’s about. Supporting the players."

Naomi Osaka 'Personal Time' Starts with L.A. Grocery Run ... After Wimbledon Withdrawal

Published | Updated

Moments after Naomi Osaka announced she was withdrawing from Wimbledon to focus on "personal time" ... the tennis superstar was already making good on her word, hitting up a fancy L.A. grocery store with a friend.

Osaka -- sporting a COVID mask -- hit up Monsieur Marcel Gourmet Market, Bistro & Seafood Market.

So, no on French Open ... but yes on French food!

On her way out, Osaka was asked about her decision to take time away from pro tennis to focus on her mental health ... but the 23-year-old wasn't talking.

After all, her team already put out a statement explaining her position -- saying, "Naomi won't be playing Wimbledon this year. She is taking some personal time with friends and family."

"She will be ready for the Olympics and is excited to play in front of her home fans."

In the meantime, Osaka seemed relaxed ... sporting a vintage "Mulan" t-shirt and driving off in her baby blue Ford Bronco.

Osaka -- who was born in Osaka, Japan -- will be heading to Tokyo in the next few weeks. The 2020 Olympics are set to kick off on July 23.

Kim K on Kris Humphries I Absolutely Owe Him an Apology ... He Doesn't Wanna Hear it

Published | Updated

Kim Kardashian admits she owes her ex-husband, Kris Humphries, an apology for the way she handled their 72-day marriage ... 'cause she "fully broke up with him in the worst way."

Kim made the revelation during Thursday's episode of "Watch What Happens Live" with Andy Cohen, which was really a 'KUWTK' finale reunion. When the convo turned to her short-lived 2011 wedding, she quickly copped to screwing up her exit.

As she put it, she handled it "totally the wrong way," because she didn't know how to deal with it and was nervous to break up with someone.

As you know by now ... they'd only been husband and wife for 2 months when Kim filed for divorce, which was finalized in 2013. But, even years later, Kim says Kris was still fuming from how it all went down.

Watch her describe a 2015 incident at the Beverly Hills Hotel when she ended up sitting at the table right next to him -- like we always say, it's a really small town!

Anyway, despite some pleasantries with his friends ... Kim says Kris "literally looked at me and wouldn't speak to me."

Kim also revealed she felt pressured to marry Kris because it was being filmed for 'KUWTK.' She ignored Kris Jenner's advice to back out, because she didn't want to be known as a runaway bride -- but when she felt "claustrophobic" during their honeymoon in Italy, she knew she'd "made the wrong decision."

tight-lipped secret

Kim's little sis, Kylie Jenner, had a confession of her own ... about why she first made the decision to get lip fillers. Of course, it was a boy's fault -- but added that same teenage insecurity launched her career in the beauty biz.

We'd say it worked out for her. Too bad for the guy ... could be married to a billionaire now.

Tom Brady QB Won't Commit To Playing 'Til 50 ... 'That's A Long Time'

Published

Turns out, there IS an expiration date on Tom Brady's football career after all ... the QB says he ain't committing to playing 'til he's 50, explaining, "That's a long time."

The NFL's G.O.A.T. revealed to USA Today Sports this month his goal is still just to play until he's 45 in two years ... and then perhaps end the run at that point.

"50? That’s a long time," Brady said. "Even for me, that’s a long time."

"I’ve always said 45 was the age that I wanted to reach and that was my goal. This year I’ll be 44, so next year I’ll be 45. I got a two-year contract."

Don't get it twisted, though ... Brady didn't exactly slam the door on the idea of another 6 years under center either.

"I’m going to be able to obviously play this year and God forbid anything happens but play next year and then see what happens after that," Brady said.

"If I still want to keep playing, I might be able to do that. And, if that’s enough, then that would be enough.”

If Brady does want to make the extended run ... his Buccaneers team certainly ain't stopping him, 'cause Tampa Bay GM Jason Licht said back in May he'd allow the QB to go that long if he wanted.

But, Tom's coming off knee surgery ... and certainly seems to be at peace with the idea his playing days could be done in two years.

Hard to imagine, right??

NY Jets' La'Mical Perine Epic Fail Trying To Shotgun Beer ... 'I Almost Threw Up!!!'

Published | Updated

NY Jets running back La'Mical Perine SUUUUCKS at shotgunning beers.

Like, he's spectacularly bad ... and he put his non-skills on display Thursday while pre-gaming for the NY Islanders playoff game!

The 23-year-old -- who played college ball at the Univ. of Florida (isn't that supposed to be a party school!?) -- was turning up on a party bus on the way to the game when someone called for a shotgun chugging contest.

First, Perine tries chugging from the hole in the side of the can BEFORE he opens the top -- which is obviously a huge problem.

Then, when he realizes his mistake ... he can't keep the beer in his mouth and spills ALL OVER HIS JORDANS!!!

What a disaster!!!

By the end, a defeated Perine admits, "I almost threw up" ... while the brew continues to drip down his beard.

As for the hockey game, it didn't go much better for the Islanders ... they lost to the Tampa Bay Lightning in a 2-1 defeat.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Next game is Saturday night ... START PRACTICING NOW, LA'MICAL!!!!

Drake & Michael B. Jordan We're Here to See Bronny James!!! Courtside for HS Hoops

Published | Updated

Ever since the Los Angeles Lakers got eliminated from the playoffs, the hottest ticket in town has been to see the Clippers Sierra Canyon Trailblazers play ball.

Drake and Michael B. Jordan showed up Thursday night to watch Bronny James -- LeBron's 16-year-old son -- take on the Etiwanda Eagles in their regional semi-final basketball game.

They might as well have been watching the Lakers in the Finals though, as they were really getting into the action from their courtside seats ... cheering on Bronny and Sierra Canyon's other star -- UCLA commit, Amari Bailey.

At one point in the first half, Drake was seen giving Bailey a pep talk, and it must have worked, because he did his best to keep the Trailblazers in it, leading the team with 37 points.

Bronny didn't score much other than a late three, but it wasn't enough in the end -- Sierra Canyon got beat 82-76 and lost out on a place in the regional final to end their season.

Of course, this wasn't the first Bronny game to draw a star-studded crowd. Just last week ... his famous father attended and brought along some past teammates -- J.R. Smith and Jared Dudley. Drake was there for that one too.

That game was Bronny's first of the season after missing most of it because of a torn meniscus he suffered in February. It was also a loss, so it's worth noting ... Sierra Canyon was 0-2 this season when Drake was in attendance. Hmm ... maybe the curse is back.

LeBron's son is just a sophomore -- a 4-star recruit in the Class of 2023 -- so expect plenty more high-profile games next season.

Rays Prospect Tyler Zombro Reveals Bloody Brain Surgery Scar ... After Line Drive Shot to Head

Published

Tampa Bay Rays prospect Tyler Zombro is clearly lucky to be alive today ... the pitcher revealed he needed brain surgery after being drilled in the head by a line drive this month -- and the scar he showed off Thursday is gnarly.

Zombro -- who was struck by a comebacker in a minor league game on June 3 -- posted pics from his recovery on his Twitter page ... and it's truly miraculous he appears to be okay following the scary scene.

Zombro showed the entire right side of his head was opened up by docs after he was hit by the baseball ... and then later closed up with a grip of staples.

"Unbelievably grateful to be in the situation I’m currently in with the incredible help from @DukeHospital & staff," Zombro said.

"To all of you that have showered my family and I with positive thoughts, I have no doubt that all of the prayer support kept God with me throughout that night, as I’m in a very fortunate position all things considered."

The initial injury was one of the scariest incidents anybody's EVER seen on a baseball diamond ... Zombro let a fastball go and it was smacked right back at him.

The 26-year-old could be seen convulsing on the mound and was immediately rushed to the hospital.

In fact, things looked so dire, Zombro's minor league team, the Durham Bulls, postponed their game the following day in wake of the injury.

But, Zombro said Thursday he's doing much better ... even cracking a joke about his sprint speed!

"In optimistic news: I’ve never been the fastest on the field so I may have gotten a boost after this surgery," Zombro said.

Zombro added he intends to get back on the diamond eventually ... though there's no timetable for a return at this point.

"Thank you again to the entire baseball community for the support," Zombro said. "I’m one lucky guy and can’t wait to get back out there (whenever that is)! God Bless you all!"

Bryce Hall 'Of Course' I'll Fight Again Crazy Return to Hollywood Scene!!!

Published | Updated

Bryce Hall's fighting days ain't over -- at least not yet -- the social media star tells us "of course" he'll be back in the ring soon.

But, the bigger question is ... who's he gonna fight?

The 21-year-old superstar -- coming off a loss to Austin McBroom -- was all smiles as he hit Boa Steakhouse on Sunset Blvd. on Thursday night ... a wild scene with fans, paparazzi and his own personal rapper?!!

Yep, some dude was freestyling for Bryce right in front of the restaurant ... spitting bars about the fight (maybe not the best idea, considering he lost).

As for Bryce's fighting future, he recently told Drama Alert’s Keemstar he plans on continuing his training ... but wouldn't confirm his next opponent.

There's talk he could face KSI's younger bro, Deji -- but Austin said they're actually friends and he doesn't want to punch someone he actually likes.

"I couldn’t just fight somebody if I don't have beef with them," Hall told Keemstar.

So, who's next? Maybe the freestyle rapper guy??

"BIGGEST FIGHT EVER!"

Vitor Belfort says he isn't only fighting ONE Hall of Famer in Oscar De La Hoya ... the combat sports star tells TMZ Sports he has also signed a deal to box Evander Holyfield later this year!!

We talked to the 44-year-old former UFC champ after Belfort was announced as 48-year-old De La Hoya's opponent in his boxing comeback (ODLH hasn't fought since losing to Manny Pacquiao in 2008).

Belfort -- who has a tremendous amount of respect for Oscar's career accomplishments -- tells us his September 11 fight on Triller will literally be one of the hottest fights of all time.

"I believe this fight with me and Oscar, this is the biggest fight ever."

So, why does Belfort believe it'll be such a big deal? He says he and Oscar paved the way for some of today's biggest stars.

"Oscar is legendary. Gold medals, one of the best pound-for-pound ever to live in the game. He revolutionary sport. If it wasn't for Oscar, would not be [Floyd] Mayweather."

Vitor continued ... "If it wasn't for Vitor Belfort, would not exist a Conor McGregor."

If you think VB is just messing around ... he isn't. Vitor doubled down ... saying his bout with De La Hoya will rival one of the most significant sporting events ever -- The Rumble in the Jungle.

"This fight will sell like Muhammad Ali and George Foreman."

Of course, Ali knocked out Big George in the 8th round of their historic 1974 boxing match.

And, get this, Vitor claims the bout with ODLH isn't a one-off ... 'cause he says he has a signed contract to box 58-year-old Evander Holyfield.

"I’m going to give you a little glimpse. After [De La Hoya in] September, December is me vs. Holyfield. Get ready for the crossover! We are taking over. Triller is bringing the fights that you dream!"
