Kanye West just added another big name to the list of people willing to help his social initiatives in Chicago ... ex-NBA star Quentin Richardson, who says he totally down to work with Mr. West.

Richardson is a Chi-Town native ... and lost his brother to gun violence there back in 2005. So, when we saw him at LAX we had to ask if he'd be down to work with Kanye to help turn things around.

"Anybody asking me to come back home and help out ... I'm always down."

West is making a new home in Chicago, and working with Windy City giants like Chance the Rapper, Vic Mensa and GLC to address inner city issues, and QR says West is doing the right thing.

The NFL. MLB. The NBA ... Quidditch?

Hey, it's possible for the "Harry Potter" inspired sport to join those massive leagues -- but only if black people start playing ... at least according to Martellus Bennett.

FYI, Quidditch is a fast-paced field game that's been described as part rugby, part dodgeball ... and involves putting a ball through 3 different rings while running with a broom between your legs.

We know what you're thinking ... but Marty B gave the sport a try recently (destroying his opponents) and told TMZ Sports it's actually super fun!

In fact, Bennett says the game has real mass appeal -- "If they took it to the urban community it would be [a national sport]."

He also notes the upside is huge because "there's more Harry Potter fans than there are NFL fans."

He may have a point, the NFL is primarily an American thing. Harry Potter is a global sensation.

Since Bennett won a Super Bowl with the Patriots, we asked if he thought New England could be a good landing spot for Colin Kaepernick ... since Colin's attorney recently suggested the Pats had an interest.

Tiger Woods' 5-year golf tournament drought is OVER -- 'cause he just won his first PGA Tour since 2013 ... and he did it in glorious fashion.

Tiger came out on top Sunday during the PGA Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Course in Georgia, where he finished 11 under par ... and 2 strokes ahead of Billy Horschel, who came in 2nd.

The final hole was crazy ... a massive crowd of spectators followed Tiger as he approached the green and hit his way out of a sand trap. He had a chance for birdie, but had to settle for par after he missed the hole by mere centimeters. It got the job done though ... and people lost it.

During his exit interview where he was asked what he proved to himself, Tiger said ... "It was just a grind out there, and I loved every bit of it." He went on to say about his return to form ... "At the beginning of the year, certainly, that was a tall order. But as the year progressed, and I proved that I could play, I found a swing and put pieces together. And, I knew I could do it again."

His interview was interrupted by a massive "TIGER" chant behind him, and it nearly moved TW to tears. At win #80 ... we'll say the comeback is complete.

Kanye West made the most of his Chicago homecoming week by capping it off with a visit to the mound with his son, Saint, and two tosses to kick off a crosstown classic rubber match.

Ye and Saint were assigned to throw out the first pitch(es) Sunday for game 3 of the Chicago Cubs and White Sox series at Guaranteed Rate Field. Saint pitched first (getting as far as he could) ... and his pops followed up with a throw that made it to home plate.

Just the day before, Kanye took Saint out for a boys night out at The Sugar Factory, where they appeared to be getting their nosh on. Looks like Yeezy didn't want to miss out on a mirror shot with his boy.

Kanye's been in Chicago since at least Monday, and his latest excursions come on the heels of his announcement that he's moving back to his hometown and "never leaving again." We're told he plans to move his Yeezy offices from Calabasas to Chi-Town ... but still maintain his properties in L.A.

Serena Williams dropped it low during a taping for an upcoming episode of "Lip Sync Battle."

The tennis star shakes and grooves to Beyonce's hit single, "Sorry," off her Lemonade album.

In case you didn't know ... Serena was also in the music video for "Sorry."

Serena Williams is coming off a tough month after losing to Naomi Osaka at the US Open ... a match laced in controversy after Serena was docked a game after getting into it with the ump. Then an Australian paper, The Herald Sun, published a racist cartoon of Serena.

Drake loves to sit courtside at basketball games and now he's bringing that action to his brand new Toronto mansion with a near-NBA-sized basketball court ... in the basement!

Drake's under-construction pad will be lavish even by his standards because it's got a 15,000 square foot basement. The 6 God's plan for that level alone? Spa surrounded by 2 saunas and a massage room ... pool WITH a hot tub ... and snack lounge suspended ABOVE the b-ball court.

That's a check, check, check and check ... according to Drizzy's building permits filed with the city.

Above ground, it's just as sweet. He's gonna have a rooftop terrace with another hot tub, a sprawling outdoor swimming area flanked by bars and massive projection screens. Translation: Best. House. Party. Ever.

Of course, he'll also have the standards: wine and champagne bar, home theater, recording studio and award ROOM (when a shelf alone won't cut it).

If Dodgers slugger Yasiel Puig's house is hit by burglars again ... it won't be because of a lack of effort by cops.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... cops have significantly increased their presence in the San Fernando Valley area where Puig's home -- and so many others -- have been hit by thieves.

Puig's 4th burglary -- the last one was this week -- was the catalyst for law enforcement to kick things up to nab some of these bad guys.

We broke the story ... LAPD got video footage of the suspects breaking into Puig's home after one of them kicked the front door open. Cops believe there are 3 suspects involved in the latest burglary ... and say they're the same perps who tried to steal his stuff on August 30.

Incredibly, Yasiel had yet another intruder on his property Thursday night ... but the guy isn't believed to be one of the burglars. Puig has a Ring security system set up at his home to get alerts for any visitors, but so far it hasn't been enough to keep thieves away.

Here's something you don't hear rappers say a lot lately ... CUT THE NFL A BREAK!!!

RZA -- the leader of the Wu-Tang Clan -- says he doesn't think the NFL deserves all the crap it's been getting for booking Maroon 5 for the Super Bowl halftime show.

And, the reason? He really digs Adam Levine!!

Remember, the game will be played in Atlanta -- home of stars like Outkast, T.I. and Migos. The guys from Maroon 5 are from L.A., and some people are pissed about that.

But, not RZA -- who says Adam is everything that's RIGHT about music ... he's talented, progressive and embraces hip-hop. He even points out Adam has a song with Future.

In fact, RZA says he wouldn't be surprised if Adam brought out a special guest like Drake!

Well, that's not gonna happen -- but RZA says the guys would definitely be down to perform a halftime show for the NY Jets or the NY Giants -- all they have to do is ask!!

Good news ... Kiara tells TMZ Sports she's down to take all the imagination out of it for you -- and make a legit porn parody of their epic L.A. night!!

Logan Paul knows he can't just jump in the Octagon and wreck Sage Northcutt -- telling TMZ Sports if the two hammer out a deal ... he'd have to "train his ass off" first.

Of course, Logan has said he wants a real deal UFC fight -- and Sage Northcutt told us he's down to give him that match.

The problem for Paul ... Northcutt is a beast who's 11-2 as a pro MMA fighter, with 6 of those wins in the UFC. And, he's only 22 years old!

"I wouldn't say I'd handle Sage Northcutt," Logan says ... "Sage Northcutt is an animal."

Still, Paul says it would be "fun" to square off with the guy -- if he can put together a real training camp first.

As for Sage, he told the guys on the "TMZ Sports" TV show he's all about a fight with Paul because his fans would love it.

The good news for Logan ... UFC champ Tyron Woodley has already offered to help train Paul up, claiming he was impressed with his boxing match against KSI and thinks he's got real talent.

Paul Pierce says the Celtics-Lakers rivalry is officially back on ... with Kyrie Irving playing the Bird/Pierce role -- and LeBron James playing the Magic/Kobe role!!

We got Paul out at LAX this week and, as one of the key players in the historic NBA clash -- he declared to TMZ Sports the two teams can finally have a real tiff again now that Bron's in L.A.

"It's on. It's on," the Celtics legend tells us. "The rivalry is back. For sure. It's official."

Pierce tells us LeBron and Kyrie will fill the leader-of-the-team roles well ... and he seems stoked to see it this season.

By the way ... if you were wondering if Pierce has any inkling to come back to the NBA and be a part of that rivalry one last time -- he says no chance.

It's now borderline incredible ... after 4 home burglaries, ANOTHER person who was up to no good ended up at the home of L.A. Dodgers star Yasiel Puig under sketchy circumstances

It went down Thursday night -- 2 days after burglars had broken into Yasiel's home for the FOURTH TIME.

Yasiel was not home when a dude jumped his fence at 10:45 PM and made it to the front door. For some reason, he rang the doorbell and turns out this time someone was home and answered on the intercom.

The guy asked if a girl was there -- he gave the name, but it wasn't the person inside. There was obviously cause for alarm, so the person inside told the intruder he was calling the cops. That was enough for the intruder to flee the scene.

Conor McGregor needs to cut out the bad language ... because KIDS ARE WATCHING -- so says Khabib Nurmagomedov.

The UFC star tells TMZ Sports he got fed up with all the curse words Conor was dropping at their nasty press conference on Thursday ... and says they need to be better role models!

"This is what I don't like when too much people cursing," Khabib said ... "Too many young guys like follow us ... I don't want to be a bad example for young generation people."

Conor dropped more bad words than a "Def Comedy Jam" act -- calling Khabib every dirty word in the book ... from "little rat" to "fanboy bitch" and "backwards c*nt."

Khabib says he refuses to engage in expletive warfare -- "I wanna be good [role] model."

As for whether Conor got under his skin at the presser, Khabib scoffed ... saying he's confident he'll "smash" McGregor when they face off at UFC 229 on Oct. 6.

Logan Paul better abandon his UFC dreams stat -- because if he ever stepped into the Octagon, he'd get "hurt badly" ... so says Dana White.

"That would be a really bad idea for him," White tells TMZ Sports.

Logan -- an accomplished high school wrestler -- had previously told us his dream would be to book a legit UFC fight after his highly successful boxing match with fellow YouTube star KSI.

In fact, UFC stud Sage Northcutt said he's down to make Paul's dreams come true -- if they can negotiate the right contract.

But, judging by this video ... that fight will never go down under the UFC banner -- because White turns deadly serious when he warns Paul about how extremely underqualified he is to brawl against the trained killers in the UFC.
