Sorry, Lakers fans ... L.A. is still Clip City, even with LeBron in the purple and gold -- so says Clippers guard Lou Williams.

We got the reigning Sixth Man of the Year out at his Lou Williams basketball camp in Atlanta when he told us the Clippers still run Los Angeles ... despite Magic Johnson's huge free agency haul.

"I mean, the Lakers ain't beat us since I've been on the Clippers," Williams tells TMZ Sports.

"So, record-wise, yeah, we are the better team in L.A. until they prove it."

Nothing's off limits when Jeff Ross goes head-to-head with Blake Griffin in a Roast Battle on Saturday ... including his former relationship with Kendall Jenner.

Here's the deal ... Blake challenged Ross on social media a few days ago. Ross accepted. Now, the joke prepping begins. So does the s**t talking.

"He gets injured easily," Ross said about the NBA star ... "Maybe it'll be an emotional injury this time."

Ross won't have a hard time finding material -- but, our photog gave him a head start.

Seems porn superstar Kiara Mia is moving from football to futbol ... because she was hanging out with some world-famous soccer stars Monday night and TMZ Sports has the footage.

Mia was leaving Poppy in West Hollywood -- where a whole bunch of famous soccer players had also been partying.

We're working to identify all of them ... so far, we know Samuel Umtiti (from France, the World Cup champs) and Karim Benzema were there. Unclear if any of them recognized Kiara.

Joe Theismann tells TMZ Sports he's talked to a few Native Americans recently ... and based on his unofficial straw poll -- the Washington team name is NOT racist!!

The ex-Redskins quarterback tells us he's had the chance to speak with plenty of tribe members throughout the U.S. -- and because of his findings, there's no need for Washington to get a new mascot.

"They seem to be okay with the name, 'The Redskins,'" Theismann tells us.

Of course, earlier this year ... the Cleveland Indians began the process to DITCH Chief Wahoo as the team mascot after backlash from fans and critics who deemed the logo offensive.

Theismann, though, says Washington doesn't need to follow suit ... at least not right now.

Ronda Rousey vs. Cris "Cyborg" Justino -- the superfight that never happened -- could still be a possibility ... just not in the UFC.

TMZ Sports talked to Cyborg at the airport in L.A. on Sunday ... and asked her about the possibility of finally facing her rival after years of trash talk ... and battling Ronda in the WWE.

"Some fans ask me, 'Cris, do you like to make a fight with Ronda Rousey in WWE?'" Cyborg tells us, "I say 'Maybe, ya don't know. Maybe.' It's not something I plan. But if fans would like to watch, I need to train for that, but, ya know, it's gonna be great."

Cyborg was actually complimentary of Ronda ... telling us she's seen Rousey do her thing in the WWE ... and thinks she's kickin' ass in the squared circle.

"I watch a couple things Ronda's doing there, and I think she's doing great."

Former USC wideout Joseph Lewis -- a five-star high school recruit in 2016 -- is facing up to five years in prison after prosecutors charged him with domestic violence ... TMZ Sports has learned.

The L.A. District Attorney's Office filed a felony DV charge against Lewis for his arrest last week -- when he was allegedly involved in a physical altercation with a woman at home.

Lewis pled no contest to a separate alleged domestic violence incident earlier this year and was sentenced to 3 years probation. As a result, Lewis faces a more severe penalty in this case, which includes up to five years in jail and a $10,000 fine.

Ben Simmons was with rich company for his birthday in Vegas over the weekend ... partying with a squad worth nearly $10 BILLION combined ... and TMZ Sports has the pics!!

According to the docs, one of the men snatched the chain off James' neck ... and they also took his Rolex.

The thieves fled to a nearby car ... and when Derwin tried to give chase in his Rolls-Royce, he discovered 3 of his tires had been slashed.

Cops are still searching for the suspects.

But, here's the crazy part -- Lochte reportedly led the USADA right to the investigation by posting a pic receiving the IV treatment alongside his wife on Instagram back in May. He even included the caption "Athletic recovery with some #ivdrip." The post was later deleted.

Josh Gordon will miss the start of Browns camp as he continues to receive treatment for issues that kept him out of the NFL entirely in 2015 and 2016 ... the wideout said in a statement Monday.

"Rest assured this too is a part of my overall health and treatment plan," Gordon says.

J.G. has been hit with several suspensions since he entered the league in 2012 ... almost all stemming from substance abuse policy violations -- and he's been in and out of rehab to try to make things right.

Gordon says there have been no steps backward ... but rather this is all part of the process toward getting better.

"With the help of the NFL, NFLPA, and the Browns' organization, I have been able to utilize the resources available to me that will ensure my well-being on and off the field," Gordon said.

"By continuing to follow the plan set up by our medical director and his team and taking this time before this season starts, we believe it will help me maintain the progress I've made for not only today but for many years to come."

Browns GM John Dorsey added, "We will continue to support Josh as he receives the care needed to maintain his progress."

"We are going to respect his privacy while he is away from the team. Josh will be placed on the non-football illness reserve list until he is ready to return."
