Kobe was seen out in France carrying his littlest daughter, Bianka Bella ... and the pythons jumping out of his torso made it clear that the age of DADZILLA is upon us.

BTW -- we didn't jump to this declaration easily ... this is the second time we've seen DADZILLA. The first time being a trip to Disneyland where the former mortal man looked more jacked than normal.

Now, we know it wasn't a one-off ... but the dawn of a new era.

Oscar De La Hoya says he was so serious about saving the GGG vs. Canelo rematch, he shelled out millions of dollars of his own money to get the deal done.

Remember, Oscar -- Canelo's promoter -- previously said Gennady Golovkin wanted a 50/50 revenue split with Canelo or he would NOT accept the fight.

Oscar came on the "TMZ Sports" TV show and we asked what it finally took to get the deal done -- and the Golden Boy told us it came down to writing a big, fat check.

"I actually came out with my own money to bridge the gap and make this fight happen," Oscar says.

"GGG wanted a bigger piece of the pie. It was a matter of a few million dollars. I couldn't get it from Canelo's side because he was gonna stick to his guns ... so I had to come up with the difference."

Here's a classy move from Tom Brady ... praising his former teammate, LeGarrette Blount, on the new Super Bowl ring he got by BEATING the Patriots!

Remember, Blount won 2 rings during his time as a running back in New England -- and it seems he and Brady got along pretty well.

But, Blount signed with the Eagles last season and was a key member of the squad that beat the Patriots in Super Bowl 52.

So, when LB posted his 3 rings on Instagram, Brady felt compelled to comment -- saying, "You have EARNED them my brother!"

Gabriel Rosado -- the real life pro boxer who fought Michael B. Jordan in "Creed" -- says he's ready to return the ring ... and he's got his sights set on Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

32-year-old Rosado is a middleweight fighter who's squared up against the likes of Gennady Golovkin, Jermell Charlo and Peter "Kid Chocolate" Quillin.

Rosado hasn't fought since Oct. 2017 -- but tells TMZ Sports he's "in talks" to make his comeback against Chavez Jr., the former WBC middleweight champ.

"We might be out here in the Staples Center," Rosado says.

Perfect location ... dude loves Hollywood.

By the way, Rosado lost when he fought GGG, but the dude was a warrior ... fighting into the 7th round in one of the bloodiest fights of Golovkin's career.

UFC champ T.J. Dillashaw agrees with Dana White ... CM Punk showed a lot of balls by getting into the Octagon -- but admits his performance was trash.

T.J. joined the guys on the "TMZ Sports" TV show (airs weeknights on FS1) -- where he talked about his upcoming rematch with Cody Garbrandt at UFC 227 in August.

Even though the two have had bad blood in the past, T.J. says he respects Cody and anyone else who gets in the Octagon to compete ... including CM Punk.

"Yeah, sure, he did not look good at all -- but he still went out there and did it ... respect."

Washington Capitals head coach Barry Trotz has RESIGNED -- less than 2 weeks after he led his team to a Stanley Cup trophy.

The 55-year-old made the shocking announcement moments ago, saying, "After careful consideration and consultation with my family, I am officially announcing my resignation as Head Coach of the Washington Capitals."

"When I came to Washington four years ago, we had one goal in mind and that was to bring the Stanley Cup to the nation's capital."

"We had an incredible run this season culminating with our players and staff achieving our goal and sharing the excitement with our fans."

Trotz and the Caps had reportedly tried to negotiate a new deal that would pay him significantly more money -- but the negotiations clearly fell through.

Trae Young is on his way to the NBA Draft ... but before he got on the plane, he talked to TMZ Sports about everything from fashion to advice he's received from some of his NBA idols.

Chad Ochocinco isn't embarrassed by his gym fanny pack -- HE'S PROUD -- and he's even revealing what secret treasures he rocks around his hips.

News flash ... Chad's a bodybuilder now -- he's been dead serious about bulking up and he's even teased about possibly entering a real competition this year. (Is he serious? Who knows?)

He's even dressing the part these days ... hence the fanny pack.

So, what's inside? Mostly the typical stuff ... but there's one secret item he keeps with him at all times in case he finds romance in the heavy weights section.

The wife of ex-NFL quarterback Erik Kramer told police her husband snapped and physically abused her on June 13 ... and now she's afraid he's a on a "manhunt" to end her life.

Kramer -- who played in the NFL from '87 to '99 -- was arrested at his home in Agoura Hills, CA on June 13. His wife immediately got an emergency restraining order, but now she's looking to extend it.

In her petition, Cortney Baird says she and Kramer had gotten into a verbal altercation the previous evening and she approached him the next morning to talk it out.

But, Cortney says Kramer flipped out and began cussing her out, pushing her around the home and then started grabbing various household items to throw at her ... including ice packs and their knife block. He missed on all attempts.

Kramer then allegedly started grabbing other items around the home -- glasses, candle holders, picture frames -- and started smashing them on the ground.

Cortney says she called 911 ... and cops raced to the scene and arrested Kramer who admitted getting physical, according to the police report obtained by TMZ Sports.

Kramer was booked at a nearby station, but released the next day -- and Cortney says she's in fear for her life and worried Erik could also come after her daughter.

In fact, Cortney points to Erik's 2015 failed suicide attempt -- when he survived a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

Cortney says the incident proves Erik has access to guns and isn't afraid to pull the trigger.

"I am terrified that he is out looking for me at this very moment and will kill me and my daughter."

Cortney's request for a restraining order was granted -- Erik must stay 100 yards away at all times and has been ordered to move out of the family home.

Logan Paul says his beef with KSI is 100% real -- telling TMZ Sports he "hates" the YouTube star, and says he's calling his shot in their upcoming boxing match.

Logan and KSI came face-to-face during a heated news conference this past weekend -- things got physical ... and Logan is adamant the hatred ain't just to sell tickets.

"It's real beef," Paul told us on the way out of Catch in West Hollywood ... "I hate the kid."

The two will fight for real in August when they square off in Manchester -- but, for now, it's gonna be a LOT of trash talk.

"I'm fighting a sack of potatoes. KSI, you suck."

Paul says the fight isn't just a big moment for YouTube stars who want to show they're bigger than social media -- it could also be a HUGE moment for the sport of boxing.

Ex-ESPN reporter Ed Werder is calling out a Sports Illustrated writer -- claiming her hiring practices are completely unfair ... because she's discriminating against MEN.

Yes, you read that correctly.

Here's the deal ... SI tweeted out an ad looking for an entry-level news writer -- which was retweeted by SI senior writer Charlotte Wilder, who added the following caption:

"If you can stand sitting near me in the office this is a v cool opportunity. Especially if you're a woman trying to get into sports, you should message me — DMs are open."

Werder had a big problem with Wilder's post ... saying, "So men need not apply? Any others ineligible?"

Wilder responded, "Oh WOW you're right, Ed, sorry for attempting to make sports media more than 10% female, my bad."

Werder: "I just always associated SI with hiring the best regardless of race, sex and other factors."

The conversation went on. Someone later asked Ed why he was so upset. He responded:

"Because next week I’m going to be standing in front of a broadcasting class of young people and some will be males and I have to tell them they have the same chance at jobs like those one as all others."

Before you get upset ... one of Ed's former ESPN colleague, Mina Kimes -- a senior writer at ESPN The Magazine -- chimed in and basically spelled it out for him.

"Encouraging women to apply for a position isn't the same thing as 'excluding' men. it's helping female applicants network, which can be a challenge given the massive gender imbalance in our industry (which I'm sure you know exists)."

Welterweight champion Errol Spence absolutely brutalized a man on Saturday night and the happiest guy in the world about it was Adrien Broner ... who turned ALL THE WAY UP after the win.

Spence KO'd Carlos Ocampo in Dallas on Saturday ... and Sunday night he and Broner hit the hottest strip club in Texas -- V Live Dallas -- and kept the party going.

Errol was chillin' ... but not Adrien, who celebrated like it was his KO, even taking the stage to hit the shoot dance one time, which we're sure all the dancers trying to make nail school tuition appreciated.

Doug Christie -- one of the players on Dennis Rodman's '14 basketball trip to North Korea -- says there's NO WAY he'd return ... unless LeBron James was involved.

Christie -- along with Kenny Anderson, Vin Baker and other ex-NBA stars -- famously traveled to Pyongyang to play an exhibition game for Kim Jong-un. They called it "basketball diplomacy."

But, Christie tells us the trip wasn't exactly peaches and cream -- saying, "I kissed the ground when I got back."

Doug tells TMZ Sports he does believe the trip helped lay the groundwork for Donald Trump to meet with Kim Jong-un, which he believes is a positive thing ... and he's praising Rodman for his role.
