Miesha Tate Blasts Ronda Rousey You Sound 'Asinine, Selfish'
Miesha Tate did NOT like Ronda Rousey's comments about how it's a "privilege" to hear her speak ... saying that whole concept is "asinine" and "selfish."
Rousey made the comments during a "Mile 22" media event last month -- saying she's scaled back her media presence because "I believe hearing me speak is a privilege, and it’s a privilege that’s been abused."
Enter Tate ... her longtime MMA rival who now hosts "MMA Tonight" on SiriusXM -- and she went off on the UFC legend.
"This is asinine," Tate said ... "I think this is not the kind of attitude you should have when you're someone who's in a position of Ronda."
Tate says Rousey owes it to her fans to talk to the media -- and to call it a privilege is a "slap in the face" to the people who look up to her.
"I don't think this is the type of attitude a role model should have."

Hulk Hogan Return to WWE Almost a Done Deal
Hulkamania could once again run wild in the WWE -- TMZ Sports has learned plans to bring Hulk Hogan back to the squared circle are currently underway.
We've learned ... Hulk and high-ranking WWE officials have been in touch recently and it's been positive.
In fact, we're told when the WWE made plans for an event in Saudi Arabia, one of the members of the royal family specifically asked for Hulk to participate.
Ultimately, Hulk didn't go ... but it triggered a dialogue between the two sides. Also, Hulk and Vince McMahon both appeared in Bill Simmons' recent Andre the Giant documentary ... though, not together.
Of course, Hulk got the axe from WWE in 2015 after a racist N-word rant went public. Hulk apologized and several African-American wrestlers publicly offered their support for Hogan.
Now, we're told the WWE wants to bring him back into the fold -- and Hulk is down -- but everyone wants to make sure it's done "the right way."
We're told everyone wants to be sensitive to the audience that was offended by the racist rant -- while showing Hulk's learned from his mistakes and is a changed man.
Our sources say WWE was paying close attention to Hulk's speech at the Boys & Girls Club this week -- in which he said he wanted to help educate kids to not use the same language he did -- because they wanted to see how it was received. It went well with the crowd which gave Hogan a loud ovation.
We reached out to WWE ... who gave us the following statement.
"WWE applauds the work Hulk Hogan is doing with Boys & Girls Clubs of America to turn what was a negative into a positive by helping young people learn from his mistake. While he has taken many steps in the right direction since we parted ways, Hogan is not currently under contract to WWE."

Dallas Cowboys Threats Made over NFL Draft SWAT Team Raids Home
A SWAT team in Florida raided the home of a former college football player -- after cops say he threatened several Dallas Cowboys members after not getting selected in the NFL Draft.
The Melbourne Police Dept. has confirmed the SWAT team was dispatched to the home of 26-year-old Keyon Reed -- who played linebacker for the University of Tennessee Chattanooga until 2012.
Cops were told Reed "had called members of the Dallas Cowboys and was telling them they needed to sign him. They stated he was making threats to harm people if the Cowboys did not sign him."
When cops arrived to Reed's home, Reed allegedly fessed up to making the threats -- including telling Cowboys employees he was going to "f*** their wife."
Reed explained he was "frustrated they wouldn't 'show him the real money' and sign him to a contract."
Cops ultimately determined Reed was not an imminent threat and he was not arrested.
Reed had issues back in his playing days -- the 6'1", 228 pounder was arrested for assaulting a police officer before the 2013 season.

Donald Trump Appointing Bill Belichick ... to Fitness Council
His relationship with Tom Brady might be over, but Donald Trump's still cool with Bill Belichick -- with POTUS appointing the Patriots coach to his new Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition.
Trump will be appointing a handful of his pals to the council including Herschel Walker, golfer Natalie Gulbis, beach volleyball star Misty May-Treanor and Mariano Rivera ... according to Axios.
Remember, Belichick has been friends with Trump for years and famously wrote him a letter back in 2016 congratulating him on a "tremendous campaign."
Gulbis and Walker have both appeared on "Celebrity Apprentice" with Trump.
The point of the council is to help find ways to motivate kids to be more active.
Belichick spoke about the new position, saying "The Council's mission aligns with my beliefs and several of the Bill Belichick Foundation's goals and values as they relate to sports, youth athletics and personal health and wellness."
"The physical fitness of children in our country is an apolitical issue that is extremely important to our future. When I was contacted by Ivanka Trump and asked to participate, I was humbled to be asked and honored to accept, as I would have done for any administration."
"I know that a lot of great leaders have participated on the Council over the past half century, some who are personal inspirations to me, and I am eager to lend any assistance I can to its ongoing mission."

Josh Rosen Honors Todd Heap's Daughter ... with $300 Tip!
Arizona Cardinals rookie QB Josh Rosen left a fat ass tip after a sushi date with his mom ... and it's all to honor the late daughter of ex-Cardinals tight end Todd Heap.
Tragically, Heap's 3-year-old daughter Holly passed away last year after a car accident at the family home in Arizona.
To honor her memory, the Heaps started Hugs From Holly Day on May 3 -- and encouraged people to spread love and joy in their community with a random act of kindness.
The Heaps also asked people to wear pink (Holly's favorite color).
Rosen answered the call and after a $94 sushi meal in Manhattan Beach, CA -- he dropped a $300 tip for the staff. Pretty cool.
And he also wore pink.
Heap played for the Arizona Cardinals in 2011 and 2012 after spending 10 seasons with the Baltimore Ravens.
He's also from Mesa, AZ and became a college football star at Arizona State.

Oscar De La Hoya Starting MMA Biz ... Targeting Chuck Liddell
Oscar De La Hoya wants to jump from the ring to the cage -- he's starting his own MMA promotion and he's gunning to sign Chuck Liddell as his first fighter, TMZ Sports has learned.
Oscar and Chuck were leaving the Golden Boy Promotions offices in L.A. when 48-year-old Chuck told us straight-up, "I'm making a comeback for sure."
When we pushed about signing with Oscar he told us, "We'll see" -- but they looked pretty chummy together.
"We're talking some business," Oscar added ... "It's no secret that I love what MMA fighters do. I want to get into the MMA business. I want to start Golden Boy MMA."
Both Oscar and Chuck strongly suggested that Chuck's comeback fight will be against Tito Ortiz -- a guy he's fought 2 times before.
"Tito's always my favorite ... One, he's easy. Two, I never get tired of hitting the guy."
No word on when they're looking to make the fight go down -- but it sounds like they're pushing for sooner rather than later.
Chuck is a UFC Hall of Famer -- and last fought at UFC 115 back in 2010.

Joe Namath Defends Kaepernick He's Good Enough to Be Signed!
Colin Kaepernick is now getting support (sorta) from one of the greatest QBs of all time -- with Joe Namath saying the guy DESERVES to be on an NFL roster.
Broadway Joe appeared on "Varney & Co." on FOX Business and went to bat for Kaep and Eric Reid -- who have both filed grievances against the NFL claiming they've been blackballed for kneeling.
"I think in Eric's case and even Kaepernick's case they're good enough players to be out there and having a job," Namath said.
"Why aren't they? I don't know. I don't believe in the collusion though, I think the NFL is smarter than that."
Namath did not explain why he thinks teams haven't signed the players.
Joe did argue back when the host suggested the kneeling hurt the game.
"I don't think the sport has been damaged, personally. The professional sport of football is going to stay and it's going to continue to grow."

Johnny Manziel Domestic Violence Photos Released
The Dallas Police Dept. has released the entire Johnny Manziel domestic violence case files ... complete with witness and victim statements ... and photos of the victim's injuries from the 2016 incident.
Manziel had been indicted for misdemeanor assault over the incident with Colleen Crowley. They had dated for 2 years but were broken up on the night of the attack.
Crowley told police she and Manziel met up at a hotel on January 29 and planned to spend the night together. They began having a discussion about "him being with a girl who had caused us problems in the past."
Crowley says she told Manziel she was going to sleep on the couch -- and that's when he threw her on the bed.
In the report, Crowley says Manziel told her he was just being playful but "it frightened me." At that point, Crowley says she told Manziel she was leaving.
Crowley told police Manziel followed her and threw her to the ground, telling her, "I'm not going to let you leave."
Eventually, he agreed to drive her to her car. Once in her car, Crowley says Manziel was driving and she tried to get out and hide in some bushes but Manziel tracked her down and forced her back in the ride.
Crowley says she injured her back when Manziel threw her into the car -- causing bruises and pain.
Once inside the car, Manziel allegedly struck her in the face with an open hand -- rupturing her left eardrum.
"She felt like she was going to die or get beaten really bad," the police report says.
Eventually, Crowley got back to her apartment with Manziel. She tried to FaceTime her parents but Manziel got mad, grabbed her phone and smashed it on the ground.
Crowley says she grabbed a knife out of fear for her safety -- and that's when Manziel ran out of the apartment. She then ran to a neighbor's house and screamed, "Johnny Manziel just beat the s*** out of me."
The neighbor called 911.
Eventually, prosecutors charged Manziel with misdemeanor assault. He struck a plea deal and was ordered to complete anger management, a domestic violence impact panel and was barred from contacting Crowley.
Manziel has since completed the terms of his plea deal and the case has been closed out -- which is why cops are now releasing all of the files.

James Harden Smacks Jazz Fan's Phone ... Over Light Heckling
Talk about an overreaction -- James Harden reached out and smacked the crap out of a Jazz fan's cell phone Wednesday all over some harmless heckling ... and the cops were involved.
But get this ... despite the fact the fan was on the receiving end of the smack, the cops treated HIM like the bad guy and scolded him for talking trash at a basketball game.
So, what was the heckle that sent Harden over the edge?
"You're still the worst flopper in the NBA."
The fan was behind a barricade at the time of the incident and posed no physical threat to Harden. Still, the Houston Rockets star smacked the guy's phone anyway.
The fan was flabbergasted when cops chastised him -- even though he pointed out that HE was the one who was physically assaulted.
Eventually, the fan went back to his seat and promised not to stand behind the barricade for the rest of the game. No arrests were made.
This isn't the first time Harden's been accused of smacking a fan with a camera -- remember, he was sued back in 2013 for allegedly belting a guy outside of a nightclub who yelled, "Kobe owns your ass!"
