Philadelphia PD Only 6 Arrests Despite Pre-Game, Post-Game Insanity
There was blood before the game ... and fires afterward -- but the Philadelphia PD tells us only 6 PEOPLE were arrested on Sunday in connection to the NFC Championship madness.
One person was arrested for assault on a police officer -- we're told the incident took place in the parking lot at Lincoln Financial Field before the game.
2 more people were arrested for disorderly conduct -- and 3 others were busted for counterfeit ticket sales.
All in all ... seems like a win considering the videos and photos that surfaced showing police on horseback taking control during the pregame tailgates.
Afterward, fans went crazy in the streets -- but according to police, it wasn't as bad as social media made it look.
Congrats!

Bengals' Pacman Jones Marvin Lewis 'Saved My Life' ... PUMPED He's Back!
Pacman Jones is going to bat for Marvin Lewis on the heels of his head-scratching contract extension ... telling TMZ Sports he couldn't be happier about the Bengals coach getting 2 more years.
Pacman wasn't kidding -- saying the team's struggles are the players' fault, 100%, and calling Lewis "one of the best coaches that's EVER been in the game."
Jones even claims Marvin "saved my life" ... probably 'cause he gave him a shot when no other NFL teams would touch him.
Pacman also heaped a ton of praise on Joe Mixon and A.J. McCarron ... and generally seemed to be in great spirits even though his season ended early.
New year, new #squadgoals, right??

Roy Jones Jr. Close to Fighting Anderson Silva ... Just Needs Dana's OK
Roy Jones Jr. says a super-fight between him and Anderson Silva is ON ... as soon as they get Dana White's blessing.
RJJ tells TMZ Sports he's already met with Anderson, and has a group of investors prepared to hammer out the details ... and the only thing holding up the scrap is Dana giving Silva the green light to fight outside the UFC.
"Anderson wants it, I want it, so the only obstacle is Dana giving him the OK," Roy said.
Roy says that since Conor McGregor was allowed to have a one-off boxing match with Floyd Mayweather, Silva -- one of the sport's all-time greats -- should get to also.
FYI, we asked Silva if he'd take a non-UFC fight earlier this week ... and he didn't say no.

Bill Cosby Fans Out in Philly Goes Public On a Wing And a Prayer
Bill Cosby must really like the Eagles' chances against the Vikings, 'cause he mustered up enough courage to show his face in public rockin' their gear.
The disgraced comedian resurfaced Sunday in Philly wearing an Eagles windbreaker and hat as he stopped off at a coffee shop ahead of the team's NFC Championship game.
We haven't seen much of him since his mistrial last summer, when the jury couldn't reach a verdict on charges of sexual assault. His retrial begins in April.
Prosecutors in the Cosby case asked a judge last week to allow 19 additional women to testify against him, in the hopes of establishing a pattern of sexual assault. The judge, Steven T. O'Neill, has yet to rule on the request.
Looks like Cosby's liking his chances, too, at this point ... we're sensing no shame here.

Cristiano Ronaldo No, Not the Face ... Not the Face!!!!
Cristiano Ronaldo faced off with a cleat and won a goal, but lost some skin in the process -- which seemed to piss him off after a quick mirror check on the nearest phone possible.
The Real Madrid striker suffered a nasty injury Sunday in the final few minutes of his team's match against Deportivo -- going in for a header, scoring ... but walking away with a bloody face from a cut near his eye.
As he left the pitch, Ronaldo used a team medic's phone to check out the damage to his second crown jewel (feet first, of course) -- and couldn't help but look annoyed AF.
He certainly paid the price for Real Madrid's 6-1 lead in the 84th minute. But hey, the goal itself looked pretty sick from our POV ... for whatever that's worth.
AND ANOTHER!!!!@Cristiano takes one for the team, but gets a second goal for his efforts. pic.twitter.com/fQb9Bd6YAy

Johnny Damon Roger Clemens is a Hall of Famer ... Feds Tried to Screw Him!
Johnny Damon says there are 60 million reasons to let Roger Clemens into the Baseball Hall of Fame -- as in the dollars the feds spent trying (and failing) to prove he used steroids.
"Our government tried to accuse him ... we had $60 million of our tax money go to trying to defame him," Damon told TMZ Sports.
Johnny says all that money was wasted 'cause Clemens was ultimately "proven innocent."
So, the former superstar outfielder is backing his ex-Yankees teammate for the Hall ... but at the same time, wants the voters to show him love, too, since he's always been clean.

Don't get it twisted -- Meeks thinks it's dope Puff is trying to diversify ownership in pro sports ... saying it's a win "for all America."
That said, the DNC rep didn't make any bones about where his allegiances lie ... and clearly wants Diddy to make a play for Gang Green.
The NY Giants ... not so much.

Chamique Holdsclaw The Baddest Chick I Ever Played Against Was ...
With all the fights in the NBA lately, we had to ask WNBA legend Chamique Holdsclaw if there was ever a female baller she just didn't mess with in the women's league.
And she definitely produced a name.
First off, Chamique was no cupcake ... 6'2", 172 lbs and was a 2-time rebounding champion during her legendary career. Bottom line -- she was a beast.
But Holdsclaw tells TMZ Sports ... the baddest chick she ever played against was Yolanda Griffith -- 7-time All-Star, WNBA champ and the '05 Finals MVP.
And according to Chamique, she'd rough you up hard if you got in her way.

We got one of the voices of 'Sunday Night Football' at Madeo Restaurant in Weho Friday night, and talked shop about some NFL matters. Al suggests it's no sure thing Tom Brady plays Sunday due to his hand injury, but even if he's out New England can prevail ... because there's no 'Tom' in 'team.'
Michaels also chats with us about Brady's former backup, Jimmy Garoppolo, and says he'll be happy for whoever replaces Jon Gruden in the booth for 'MNF' ... as long as it's not his 'SNF' partner.

Dolph Lundgren -- aka Ivan Drago -- says he's down with the dude they cast as his son in "Creed 2" ... but tells TMZ Sports he's gotta make a big cosmetic change to sell the Drago look ...
BURN OFF HIS BODY HAIR.
FYI, Romanian bodybuilder/boxer Florian "Big Nasty" Munteanu was recently introduced as Drago's spawn ... and some 'Rocky' fans were complaining since he didn't really look like his pops.
But when we spotted Dolph in the Bev Hills, he told us Big Nasty's got the bod ... and is just a painful wax-sesh away from becoming a chip off the ol' block.
"Nice wax, a little bit of hair color ... I'm sure there's a way to adjust our looks."
