Legendary trainer Freddie Roach has a potentially lifesaving tip for Rev. Jesse Jackson in the wake of his Parkinson's diagnosis -- strap on the gloves and start boxing!!

Freddie's speaking from personal experience ... conquering Parkinson's for over 3 decades with the help of hand-eye coordination drills (AKA hitting and holding mitts).

"Boxing probably saved my life," Roach told TMZ Sports at his Wild Card Boxing gym in L.A.

Jackson says he's gonna do whatever it takes to fight the disease ... so Roach's sport could be a real option for the Rev.

But whether or not takes up boxing, Freddie's got a powerful message for RJJ -- "You just can’t give up, can’t let it take over."

The scariest soap opera in sports ain't over just yet ... 'cause Cris Cyborg says a superfight between her and Ronda Rousey might still go down one day.

We got Cyborg training in L.A. for her fight with Holly Holm ... and the women's featherweight champ told TMZ Sports "maybe this fight can happen" if everything were to fall into place.

The problem -- Cris doubts Rousey's ever gonna step foot back inside the UFC Octagon.

Still ... it's a 180 from the stance Cyborg took a couple months ago, when she said she didn't wanna scrap with Ronda anymore because she's a loser.

We got LaVar Friday at the New York Grill in Ontario, CA, and he's reveling over his feud with Trump. LaVar was with sons Lonzo, LiAngelo and LaMelo.

It isn't lost on him that he got the equivalent of $13 million in free advertising when he earned Trump's wrath by saying the Prez didn't really assist in getting LiAngelo out of Chinese custody.

Colin Kaepernick has been out of a job for nearly a year, but his resume still looks appealing ... to Hollywood!

A well-known casting director posted on a message board for managers and agents last week, asking for someone representing the former NFL quarterback to contact her.

The casting director is currently working on a TV pilot and -- more notably -- the Pepsi commercial-inspired movie "Uncle Drew" starring Kyrie Irving, Lil Rel Howery, Nick Kroll and sports legends like Shaq, Reggie Miller, Chris Webber and Lisa Leslie.

It's unclear the role for which the casting director is eyeing Kaepernick, but a cameo in "Uncle Drew" seems like a good fit. If it works out ... it would be Colin's first acting gig.

It's no surprise the ex-NFL star's a hot Hollywood commodity despite not playing this season -- he's still been in the limelight as an activist, philanthropist, and President Trump talking point.

Wisconsin State Patrol tells us Kendricks was not actually cited for marijuana during the stop. WSP says marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia charges have been "referred to the Outagamie County DA’s Office" who will decide whether to charge Kendricks.

Cops tell us they confiscated weed from LK's vehicle, however, he left the scene without a citation.

Green Bay Packers tight end Lance Kendricks was cited for having weed in his car back in September after getting pulled over for speeding ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Here's what we know ... Kendricks was clocked going 81 in a 70 mph zone when he was on his way home from the Wisconsin Badgers football game on Sept. 2. According to the police report, the cop "could smell a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle."

Cops say Kendricks apologized for the smell ... and after initially denying there were any drugs in the car, he later 'fessed up to having weed in the glove box.

Cops say they say also found a Louis Vuitton bag with a black glass container with a "green leafy substance," 2 packs of rolling papers, and a blue grinder.

Kendricks is facing 2 charges for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and was given a warning for speeding. The case is now in the hands of the Outagamie County District Attorney.

He isn't the first Packers player to have legal trouble fly under the radar ... running back Aaron Jones was arrested on October 1, which wasn't reported until this week.

Donald Trump took a break Friday and went from his vacation home at Mar-a-Lago to Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter, Florida to play a few rounds with none other than Tiger Woods.

Trump and Woods were joined by Dustin Johnson, the number 1 ranked golfer in the world.

Trump and Tiger have history ... they've golfed together in the past. The last time they hit the links was just before last XMAS.

BTW ... Tiger is bipartisan on the green ... he's also golfed with Obama.

Oscar Pistorius just got the book thrown at him because South Africa's Supreme Court of Appeal more than doubled his sentence.

Pistorius had originally been sentenced to 6 years in prison for killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. The Appeals Court just upped the sentence to 15 years ... agreeing with prosecutors that the 6 year sentence was shockingly lenient.

Under South African law, the recommended minimum sentence for murder is 15 years.

Before Bre Tiesi said "yes" to Johnny Manziel ... she was engaged to another man -- and the backstory involves everything from money to diamonds to the FBI.

Bre's ex-fiance is Chris Anzalone -- who was a BALLER in Southern California until he was arrested and convicted for running a $16 million investment fraud scheme.

But before he was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison, Anzalone showered Bre in riches -- including cars, designer purses, Rolex watches and a 10-carat diamond engagement ring.

Their relationship went sour when Chris was locked up -- and Anzalone claims Bre embezzled more than $1.3 MILLION in cash and expensive property.

Chris has lawyered up and demanded his stuff back -- but there's one problem ... Bre says he's lying and she doesn't have it anymore.

TMZ Sports spoke with Bre's attorney who says Tiesi met with FBI agents and surrendered every item she was asked to give up ... items the feds claim she received from Anzalone's ill-gotten fortune.

Bre says none of it was embezzled -- everything she had was given to her as a gift.

Bre's lawyers also provided documents to TMZ Sports showing a list of the surrendered items which include Louis Vuitton backpacks, designer luggage, watches and rings.

Bre's attorneys say Anzalone also accused Tiesi of letting Manziel propose to her with the ring HE used back in the day. But Bre's team provided receipts showing Johnny's ring was purchased in February.

Anzalone has fired off legal letters to Bre's team threatening a lawsuit. Bre's lawyers deny any wrongdoing and have this message for Anzalone ... BRING IT ON.

Sergey Kovalev says God saved him from a potentially deadly accident -- and now, he's vowing to show fans the "real Krusher" in his return fight this weekend.

"I said very big thanks to the God for save my life," Sergey told TMZ Sports. "I still healthy, and now he gave me opportunity again."

FYI, the boxing star recently revealed he got into a crazy car accident in Russia after his back-to-back losses to Andre Ward -- skidding into a dense forest off a 2-lane highway ... but miraculously avoiding direct impact with any trees.

Kovalev told us that close call led him to a monastery in Greece -- where he got clean in the body and mind, and got over his gut-wrenching defeats at the hands of Ward.

T.J. Dillashaw wants to fight Demetrious Johnson so bad, he's stepping his trash-talk game up to Nick Diaz levels to put the UFC pound-for-pound king on notice.

"Don't be scared ... man up, let's do it," T.J. told TMZ Sports out in L.A.

Dillashaw's been chasing Mighty Mouse the whole year -- and says DJ's time at the top is almost up since that's the only fight he wants.

The UFC bantamweight champ told us Mighty Mouse should be pumped for the scrap too -- 'cause he'd actually be able to sell tickets for once!! (Burn.)

As for how the fight would go ... T.J. told us it "definitely" could be LIGHTS OUT for Demetrious.

Race shouldn't matter in horse racing ... so says horse owner Jason Derulo who says it would be great to hire a black jockey ... but his priority is hiring a winner.

Derulo recently became a part-owner of an Australian thoroughbred and made it clear he's looking to rack up some W's on the track.

We raised the point that there hasn't been a black jockey in the winner's circle of the Kentucky Derby in 100 years ... and asked if Jason was looking to change that.

But he hit us with some real talk ... it's not about breaking racial barriers, it's about winning -- and if the best jockey happens to black -- great! He'll hire him in a second.

Tristan Thompson celebrated the Cleveland Cavs big win over Brooklyn Nets Wednesday night by taking it back pre-Khloe ... when he was a single dude.

Tristan and teammate Jae Crowder hit up Cleveland hot spot Magnolia nightclub at 2am. Rapper PARTYNEXTDOOR was also there but laying low until Tristan blew his cover.

The guy onstage at the time, rapper Choochie Flvco, didn't seem to mind the Canadian rapper taking over with "Recognize," which Tristan told everyone was one of his faves pre-Khloe.

The Ohio State football team will honor former college superstar Terry Glenn with custom helmet decals when the Buckeyes face off against big-time rival Michigan this weekend.

Glenn -- who died in a car accident in Texas on Monday at age 43 -- was an All-American receiver for the Bucks ... and won the Biletnikoff Award (given to college football's best receiver) in 1995.

Terry Glenn, Jr. revealed the design on social media, saying "How awesome. Much love to all the Buckeyes out there."
