Oakland Raiders star Aldon Smith has pled no contest to hit and run stemming from a 2015 incident ... TMZ Sports has learned

As we previously reported, Smith was arrested on August 6, 2015 for DUI -- after cops say he smashed into a parked car and then fled the scene. He later returned to the scene of the crash where officers gave him a field sobriety test and arrested him on suspicion of drunk driving.

He initially pled not guilty to misdemeanor DUI and hit and run -- but now, we've learned he cut a deal with prosecutors in which he pled no contest to hit and run and the DUI charge was dropped.

He was sentenced to 20 days in jail -- but the judge is allowed him to do residential treatment in lieu of spending time behind bars. Residential treatment is essentially "rehab" at a facility. He was also ordered to complete anger management.

Smith is also forbidden from driving with ANY amount of alcohol in his system. He's also not allowed to go to bars or pubs or anywhere alcohol is the primary commodity for sale.

During the case, the judge also found he violated probation from another case and was sentenced to 90 days in jail -- but again, he was allowed to do residential treatment instead.

Allen Iverson's nationwide casino gambling tour continues ... this time, hitting up a high stakes roulette table in Pennsylvania and TMZ Sports has the footage.

The Answer has been spotted at several casinos across the country this year ... from Chicago to Vegas ... and most recently, testing his luck at the Mohegan Sun Pocono Resort Wednesday night.

Witnesses say A.I. had a private table with his friends and was placing BIG bets.

There were reports Iverson's dealt with gambling troubles in the past ... but he's adamantly denied having a problem.

J.R. Smith was asked about LeBron James ditching the Cavs ... and went COMPLETELY NUCLEAR -- telling the guy who brought it up to get the "f*ck outta here!"

It all went down outside Poppy in L.A. -- one of the hottest new restaurants in West Hollywood -- when a photog hit a nerve by asking if LeBron was gonna leave Cleveland (again) after this season.

Smith, one of Bron's Cavs BFFs, wasn't havin' it -- ripping the dude (not our guy) to shreds ... before blowing up over a question on The King joining the Lakers, specifically.

Photog: "LeBron's gone man. Deal with it."

J.R.: "LeBron's still here. He's still here."

Photog: "You think LeBron's gonna come to L.A.?

J.R.: "I think LeBron's gonna be wherever the f**k he wanna be at!"

Here's Bill Belichick passing the buck like he's Tom Brady when asked about how the New England Patriots inform players about the dangers of CTE.

With Aaron Hernandez's fiancee suing the Pats and the NFL for allegedly hiding key information about CTE from players ... a reporter asked Belichick on Friday straight-up how the team deals with CTE.

That's when Belichick took a deep breath and said this -- "Umm. Well that's really ... you know, the whole medical questions are, you know, one that come outside of my area."

Belichick noted that the question is better handled by the team medical staff.

When the reporter asked Belichick for his thoughts on how the NFL informs players on the dangers of CTE he deflected once again.

Dr. Bennet Omalu -- the man who discovered CTE -- tells TMZ Sports, "There is no question in my mind that CTE drove Aaron Hernandez to suicide and other criminal and violent behavior."

FYI, Dr. Omalu is the real-life doctor who inspired the Will Smith movie, "Concussion."

We reached out to Omalu after Hernandez's fiancee filed her lawsuit against the NFL and the New England Patriots -- claiming the league failed to share information connecting CTE and suicidal tendencies.

Omalu believes she absolutely has a case -- and hopes Aaron's story will inspire parents to pull their kids out of contact sports.

"If you read my book 'Truth Doesn’t Have a Side' you will encounter the Chapter titled 'I bet my license OJ Simpson Has CTE,' therefore, it should not be surprising that Aaron Hernandez eventually committed suicide."

"I am yet to examine the brain of professional football player who does not have CTE or other forms of brain damage. And we have always known for centuries that if you suffer forceful and/or repetitive blows to your head in whatever human activity, you will suffer brain damage."

"If a child plays football, there is a 100% risk exposure to brain damage. No child under the age of 18 in today’s America should be playing any of the high-impact, high-contact sports, and the big six are football, ice hockey, mixed martial arts, rugby, boxing and wrestling."

"Let us keep our children healthy and make them play only non-contact sports."

LaVar Ball is getting serious props from Chad Ochocinco -- who says the remixed $495-per-pair ZO2 shoes are "f*cking dope," and he can't wait to get his.

LaVar officially 86'd the original design for Lonzo Ball's signature Big Baller Brand shoe -- saying the design team went "back to the lab" and came up with a better design.

People who ordered the original shoe will NOT get the old shoe when the merchandise finally ships -- they'll get the new one. LaVar says he'll work something out with people who don't want the new shoe.

The new shoe is a completely different look -- it's lighter and more sporty than the original ... but some people are upset they're not getting what they were originally promised.

Not Chad ... who tells TMZ Sports, "[The new ZO2's] are f*cking dope. The new design is FIRE! I was happy with the first design but the 2nd is what I'd consider 'caught up with the times.'"

Albert Haynesworth's ex-girlfriend is breaking her silence ... essentially claiming the ex-NFL star is lying about her being a racist and violent person.

TMZ Sports broke the story ... Haynesworth claims he's the victim of domestic violence at the hands of Brittany Jackson, a former college basketball star. They dated for years and have a young child together. Haynesworth claims she physically and emotionally abused him and called him the n-word.

But Brittany says that's just not true ... especially when it comes to the racism allegations.

"I am saddened and humiliated by the accusations just made by Albert about myself, the mother of our beautiful child," Jackson tells TMZ Sports.

"Accusations of me being racially biased are absurd. Come on Albert, we lived together for over 2 years and have a beautiful biracial baby that I love more than anything in this world!"

"As for the domestic accusations, I can not comment at this time due to current litigation but the truth will always surface."

Jackson adds, "This is a very difficult time for me and our child. Shockingly enough finding out I am the mother of Albert's 7th child, I do not feel I need to stoop to make public his true conduct."

For the record, we spoke to several of Jackson's former teammates -- many of whom are African American -- who strongly defended her against allegations she's racist.

Floyd Mayweather says that's exactly the case with him ... telling TMZ Sports he still has NOT cashed his massive checks from the Manny Pacquiao and the Conor McGregor fights.

Mayweather was leaving TAO in L.A. with his entourage Thursday night when he talked about everything from his health to his wealth.

Fun Fact: Floyd says he wants to bring his Las Vegas strip club business out to L.A. too -- "It's time for us to get a new gentleman's club out here. Girls Collection L.A."

Oh, and to prove he's serious about his fight checks ... Floyd says he plans to post 'em on social media later today. He reportedly made around $300 mil per fight.

Albert Haynesworth and his baby mama, Brittany Jackson, went nuclear on each other during an argument about Albert's alleged cheating ... and it got so bad, cops were called.

TMZ Sports broke the story ... Albert claims he's the victim of domestic violence -- alleging his baby mama abused him physically and emotionally during their rocky relationship.

We did some digging and found multiple incidents with couple involving police -- including one altercation in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in which the ex-NFL star says Jackson was berating him in front of their 3-year-old son.

The officer who responded to their home said, "Brittany told me that she was upset that Albert has been talking to other women and they had an argument over his infidelity."

Brittany told the cop the alleged cheating was "an ongoing issue between them."

Brittany denied physically attacking Albert. Albert denied physically attacking Brittany.

Albert admitted they did argue over "claims" of infidelity -- and he tried to ignore her but she wouldn't drop the issue. Albert says he just wants to be left alone.

The cop advised both parties to cool off. No arrests were made.

As we previously reported, cops were also called to a home in Tennessee the very next month -- where Haynesworth claims Brittany kicked him in the groin twice during an argument.

Here's Lakers rookie Kyle Kuzma serving notice to the rest of the NBA not to try him ... getting a lesson in the pugilistic arts from one of the most famous boxing trainers in the country.

Kuzma -- one of the Lakers summer league standouts -- headed over to the Team Watson Boxing Club in L.A., the city's new boxing hub, where champions like Leo Santa Cruz work out.

The lesson looks pretty intense (kid's got power) ... and it's definitely legit training 'cause the guy holding the mitts is Phil Paolina, an ex-fighter whose worked with celebs like J.Lo and even Bob Dylan.

The guy from "Pimp My Ride" says there's no chance in hell he's watching the NFL's car-customizing show, "Tackle My Ride" ... with Xzibit telling producers, "Good luck with that."

Xzibit has had ZERO desire to reflect on his "Pimp My Ride" days ever since the MTV show ended back in the day ... and has hilariously roasted fans who bring it up.

Just last year, someone tweeted at him, "Can you pimp my ride?" He shot back -- "No bitch, sh*ts been over for a decade. Get a job."

So, when we told him about the NFL Network's twist on the show -- where football fans get their cars tricked out into "the ultimate fan car" ... Mr. X to the Z did not care for it.

We asked if he'll watch it -- "Nah, I got other sh*t to do."

Gatorade's gettin' some Hater-ade from the State of California -- which is suing the energy drink company for a star-studded smear campaign against water.

Drink that in.

It's all over a 2012 app launched by Gatorade called "Bolt!" -- it's a mobile phone game like "Temple Run" in which a Usain Bolt character runs through obstacles gathering Gatorade token to run faster.

The enemy in the game is water -- which is branded as "the enemy of performance." Players must avoid water at all cost. The game was reportedly downloaded more than 2.3 million times and promoted by huge stars like Justin Bieber and Mike Tyson.

So, why does the state of CA have a problem?

According to court docs obtained by TMZ Sports, the state attorney general believes the game violated California law by delivering a misleading message to consumers -- that water decreases athletic performance. California says that's just not true.

The State wants to block Gatorade from continuing the anti-H20 ad campaign -- and also seeks to hit the company with a serious fine.

Aaron Hernandez's fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez, says Aaron killed himself as a result of severe CTE he suffered during his NFL career -- and she's suing the the Patriots and the league for keeping him in the dark about the brain disease.

Shayanna filed the lawsuit in Mass. on behalf of the daughter she had with Aaron.

In the suit Shayanna says, "Aaron had stage 3 CTE usually seen in players with a median age of death of 67 years."

Shayanna claims the NFL and the Patriots were aware of the link between suicidal impulses and CTE and failed to share that info with Hernandez.

She claims the NFL and the Patriots "were fully aware of the damage that could be inflicted from repetitive impact injuries and failed to disclose, treat or protect him from the dangers of such damage."

In her suit, Shayanna says she and her daughter are seeking "redress for the loss of parental consortium she has experienced based on the negligent conduct of Defendants that deprived her of the companionship and society of her father, Aaron Hernandez."

Hernandez infamously killed himself in his prison cell on April 19 -- after he was found not guilty in a double homicide. Hernandez was already serving a life sentence for the murder of Odin Lloyd at the time of his death.

Shayanna says in her suit, "On April 19, 2017, Aaron succumbed to the symptoms of CTE and committed suicide."

Story developing ...

Sergey Kovalev says he's "disappointed" Andre Ward is retiring from boxing because "I don't have opportunity to kick his ass again."

The Krusher joked to TMZ Sports that he predicted he would end Ward's career before their second fight back in June ... and now, "It's true!"

Of course, Kovalev and Ward fought twice over the past year -- with Ward officially winning both matches.

But Kovalev says the judges got it wrong ... he clearly won the first fight and was looking forward to fight #3 to settle what he believes is a 1-1 tie.

That said, Sergey definitely throws some shade at Ward as he sends the boxer off into the sunset -- explaining why the sport will be better off without Son of God.

Ric Flair is opening up about his past struggles with alcoholism ... admitting that he consumed the equivalent of "20 DRINKS A DAY" during his legendary pro wrestling career.

The Nature Boy talked about his wild ways Thursday on "The Dan Le Batard Show" ... and how they nearly cost him his life.

"I just drank too much," Flair said. "Between 3,700 and 4,000 calories worth of booze ... in my body every day. Like 20 drinks a day."

Ric's alcohol abuse eventually caught up to him ... he says he was on life support for 10 days after having emergency surgery last month, and doctors didn't know whether or not he'd make it.

Good news, though -- Naitch says he's kickin' booze to the curb so he can have a long, healthy life.

Keyshawn's Johnson has struck again ... allegedly.

The ex-NFL star has been hit with paternity docs by a 35-year-old woman who claims 45-year-old Key knocked her up back in 2016 -- and she's demanding child support for her 4-month-old son.

But Key says the allegations are 100% false.

According to court docs obtained by TMZ Sports, the woman has demanded a paternity test to establish Keyshawn as the father -- and once it becomes official, she wants at least $4,346 per month in support.

The rub ... Keyshawn is still legally married to another woman, Jennifer Conrad, and was at the time of the alleged conception.

Interesting note ... Jennifer had initially filed for divorce in March 2015 -- but they reconciled ... until August 2016 when she told TMZ Sports the divorce was back on for good.

At the time, it was unclear why the reconciliation went south.

We spoke with Key's attorney, Aja Mann, who tells us, "The allegations are absolutely false."
