Published | Updated

Jerry Sandusky's 41-year-old son, Jeffrey Sandusky, pled guilty to 12 felonies Friday in his child sex abuse case ... and faces up to 8 years in prison.

Jeffrey's dad, Jerry, is still in prison doing a 30-to-60-year stretch after being convicted of 45 counts of child sex abuse back in 2012.

MLB Commish Rob Manfred Sox Guilty Of Stealing Signs ... Fined Undisclosed Amount

Published | Updated

MLB commish Rob Manfred just dropped the hammer on the Red Sox ... fining the club an "undisclosed amount" of money for stealing signs using banned electronic devices.

Baseball investigators determined the BoSox violated MLB rules by "sending electronic communications from their video replay room to an athletic trainer in the dugout."

While Manfred did not specify the amount of the fine ... he did say the cash would go towards Hurricane Irma relief in Florida.

The Sox weren't the only ones lighter in the wallet ... the commish says he determined the Yankees broke a rule prior to the '17 season, so he fined them also.

The amount ... "lesser undisclosed amount" -- also going to storm relief.

We spoke with Manfred last week in D.C. while he was still conducting the investigation ... and he told us the scandal was just a "reflection of competitive activity between two clubs."

KEEP STREAKIN'!!!

Frank Gallagher's a Chicago guy, but William H. Macy is officially on the Cleveland Indians bandwagon ... 'cause the 'Shameless' star is pulling for the Tribe to keep their historic wins streak alive!!

The Indians have been absolutely dominant lately ... having won 22 straight games and coming within 4 of the all-time record, which was set by the New York Giants back in 1916.

Macy's a Cubs fan -- and even threw out the 1st pitch at a game this season -- but considering what happened during last year's World Series ... sounds like he's ready for a new team to end a historic drought.

Big3 Sues Champions League Quit Lying About Our League!!!

Published | Updated

BIG3's punching back at accusations it broke a deal with a competitor, and it's now suing that league for defamation.

Ice Cube's BIG3 slapped Champions League with a lawsuit after the CL claimed its league can't get off the ground and blamed the BIG3 for allegedly breaking a deal with Champions League.

In docs, filed by Mark Geragos, BIG3 says the Champions League posted a statement on its website that was a bald-faced lie. The CL said, "The issue is that Big3 violated the agreement that players would be able to play in both leagues even though all the players had prior agreements with the Champions League."

BIG3 says there was NEVER any agreement between between the 2 leagues and no BIG3 player was barred from honoring commitments to the Champions League. BIG3 goes as far as saying that 3 players who DID have a deal with CL were specifically allowed to play for Champions.

What's more ... BIG3 says the head of the Champions League is "a serial con-artist, fraudster and ponzi-schemer" who blames his failures on others.

BIG3 is suing for unspecified damages. We've reached out to Champions League, so far no word back.

Ezekiel Elliott Rep Blasts NFL They'll 'Stop At Nothing' To Suspend Zeke

Published | Updated

Ezekiel Elliott is clapping back at the NFL after they filed a motion in court this morning ... saying the league "will stop at nothing" to nail the star RB.

The NFL filed an appeal in a Federal Appeals court Friday morning arguing that Zeke should have to sit until his appeal plays out in court.

Last week, a judge in a Texas court ruled the opposite ... saying E.E. can play until the larger matter is sorted out.

Elliott's reps quickly responded, saying, "The NFL's latest legal maneuvering appears to be indicative of a league with an agenda: trying to navigate a public relations crisis rather than focus on fairness and fact finding."

"The only conclusion that can be drawn is that the NFL believes it can write its own rules and will stop at nothing to further its agenda of enforcing its unfounded assertions regarding Mr. Elliott."

In the league's filing, they asked the judge to make a decision by September 26 ... week 4 of the NFL season.

Zeke's reps are adamant they'll "zealously oppose any of the NFL's court filings."

David Ortiz Take Protests Out of the Ballgame Take Banners Out of the Crowd!!!

Published | Updated

David Ortiz wants to make baseball fun again ... and definitely doesn't think unfurling huge protest banners at the ballpark is the way to do it.

We got Big Papi at LAX Thursday -- the Red Sox legend tells us he's not down with the Boston fans who brought the controversial banner to the game Wednesday night ... even though it was speaking out against racism.

Ortiz suggests making political statements at a game -- no matter what side somebody's on -- are a bad idea because people are always going to get the wrong idea ... so he's against it.

As Papi put it ... "You don't wanna add more s**t to the s**t that is already out there."

FYI ... the 4 fans who brought the banner to Fenway were ejected.

An arena security guard stopped the girl from getting to Ronda (basically, he did his job) -- but the little girl was devastated and began to bawl her eyes out.

Ronda watched the situation unfold and beelined it to little Hailey Danielson -- where the UFC legend immediately put the guard in a full nelson and let the kid exact sweet fist revenge!!!

They laughed. They hugged. They took pics. Ronda even invited the kid to sit next to her in the front row.

And now the security guard will forever know ... NO ONE MESSES WITH HAILEY!!!!

'Love and Hip Hop Hollywood' Moniece Slaughter Accused of Weird Check Scheme

Published | Updated

"Love and Hip Hop Hollywood" star Moniece Slaughter was taken to court by a friend of hers who claims her former NBA star boyfriend wrote checks in the friend's name to pay her rent.

Timothy Clayton Roulhac-Carr claims he used to be Moniece's good friend and saved her from homelessness. She had no credit and he helped her by funding a bank account.

Timothy filed legal docs Thursday for a restraining order, claiming the former NBA star Joe Smith wrote checks from Timothy's account in Timothy's name. Timothy then says Moniece started dating Akon again -- she had dated him before -- and that pissed off Joe, who canceled the check out of spite and made up a lie that Timothy robbed Joe.

Timothy says in December he was robbed at gunpoint and he believes Moniece set him up. He also says she used her celebrity "to slander me and gay bash me."

If this doesn't make sense to you, it didn't to the judge either. The restraining order was denied.
