Big month for Derek Jeter -- first he gets the Marlins and now HIS FIRST KID!

Jeter's wife, Hannah Davis, gave birth to Bella Raine Jeter on Thursday, August 17, Jeter's media outlet The Player's Tribute confirmed.

The Yankees tweeted a message to Jeter ... saying, "Congrats to Derek & Hannah Jeter on the birth of their daughter, Bella Raine Jeter. We can't wait to meet her!"

Question is ... with Jeter expected to buy the Marlins, will the kid grow up rooting for Miami or New York!??!

Jeter and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition cover model started dating back in 2011. They got engaged in 2015 and finally tied the knot last year in Napa, California. She's 27. He's 43.

Bella is their first child.

Back when Jeter retired from baseball in 2014, he said he wanted to start a family. Mission accomplished.

Magic Johnson Entering 18th Day On $700k-Per-Week Yacht

BALLLLLLLLLLLIN'!!!!!

Magic Johnson has upgraded in a big way ... going from a $500k-per-week yacht to a $700k-per-week yacht -- and he's about to complete his 3RD WEEK on the floating mansion.

The NBA legend is currently floating around the Amalfi Coast with Sam Jackson on a boat called the Siren ... which is advertised at $680k-per-week during Summer high season.

It's 73 meters long -- has a movie theater, gym, dining room, hot tub, helicopter pad, an elevator ... and, of course, WiFi.

Johnson and his family boarded the yacht on August 1 after touching down in a private jet.

Some of the family has left -- but Magic and Cookie Johnson are currently traveling with their good friends, The Jacksons.

In previous years, Magic rented out a cheaper yacht -- The Amadeus -- which used to run him about $527k per week.

Seems like he's enjoying the upgrade -- Friday morning, Magic took one of his jet skis out for a ride off the coast of Positano.

Sean Smith's Victim Hospitalized In Critical Condition ... Cops Say

Oakland Raiders cornerback Sean Smith allegedly beat his sister's boyfriend so badly during a July 4 attack, the guy was hospitalized in critical condition with multiple broken bones in his face, TMZ Sports has learned.

Law enforcement tells us ... officers responded to calls of an unconscious male on the streets of Pasadena and when help arrived they found him bloody and beaten on the sidewalk.

We're told it was obvious the man had multiple facial fractures.

Cops previously said Smith beat the man and then stomped his head.

Investigators spoke with multiple witnesses -- and fingered Smith as the assailant.

Smith -- who signed a 4-year, $38 million contract in 2016 -- was arrested for felony assault. He posted $80,000 bond and is due back in court to be arraigned in September.

For his part, Smith has denied any wrongdoing and has vowed to fight the case.

The NFL has launched its own investigation into the incident.

So far, no comment from the Raiders.

The city of Barcelona -- and all of its star athletes -- took a moment of silence to honor those injured and killed in Thursday's terror attack.

FC Barcelona stopped Thursday's practice, and stars like Lionel Messi and Gerard Pique stood quietly to reflect.

The team will also be wearing armbands during their next game to honor the victims.

Cristiano Ronaldo and his Real Madrid teammates also held a moment of silence during their training session.

At least 14 died when a terrorists plowed a van through a crowded tourist area in Barcelona on Thursday. One hundred people were injured. Cops have made multiple arrests and killed several suspects. They're still hunting for more.

Raiders' Sean Smith Charged with Felony Assault ... Over July 4th Beatdown

Oakland Raiders cornerback Sean Smith -- who signed a $40 million contract last year -- was arrested Thursday and charged with felony assault, TMZ Sports has learned.

Officials say Smith attacked his sister's boyfriend on July 4 -- beat and stomped on his head in Pasadena in the early hours.

He's been charged with felony assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury and battery with serious bodily injury.

If convicted, Smith faces up to 7 years in state prison.

It's not Smith's first brush with the law -- he was convicted of DUI stemming from a 2014 car crash in which he smashed into a light pole.

We've reached out to the Raiders for comment -- so far, no word back.

Smith's attorney, Daniel Rosenberg, says Smith maintains his innocence and vows to fight the charges.

Bucs, Rays & Lightning: We'll Pay to Take Down Confederate Statue ... In Tampa Bay

Three major Tampa sports teams are pitching in to remove a Confederate monument from the city's courthouse in the wake of the backlash against similar statues in Virginia.

The statue in the middle of the controversy is the infamous Memoria en Aeterna -- a 106-year-old monument honoring the Confederate soldiers who fought in the Civil War.

Officials recently voted to remove the statue -- but only if removal costs were raised from private donors. The cost was estimated at roughly $150,000.

Enter the NFL's Tampa Bay Bucs, the MLB's Rays and the NHL's Lightning ... which just stepped up.

"Recognizing that this monument does not reflect the values of our community, in collaboration with the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, our organizations have dedicated funds to assist in moving the statue from the public space in front of the courthouse."

"Now more than ever before, we must stand united and committed to diversity and inclusion as we all attempt to heal from the tragedy in Charlottesville."

No word on when the statue will come down.

Ronaldo & Messi Offer Support to Barcelona After Terror Attack

Europe's biggest sports stars are showing their support for Barcelona after today's terrorist attack ... including Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

"Dismayed by the news arriving from Barcelona. Full support and solidarity with the family and friends of the victims," Ronaldo said in a translated tweet.

Ronaldo is from Portugal, which neighbors Spain. The soccer superstar also plays professionally for Real Madrid in Spain's top pro league, La Liga.

Messi posted about the attack on Instagram ... "I want to send my condolences and all my support to the families and friends of the victims of the terrible attack in our beloved Barcelona, ​​in addition to totally rejecting any act of violence," the FC Barcelona superstar said in a translated message.

"We are not going to give up, we are many more who want to live in a world in peace, without hate and where respect and tolerance are the basis of coexistence."

Former Barca superstar Neymar also chimed in on IG: "May God comfort all families. #PrayForBarcelona. I love you BARCELONA," he said in a translated message.

Rafael Nadal added: "Shattered by what has happened in Barcelona! All my support to affected families and the city," in a translated tweet.

Pau Gasol -- who's from Barcelona -- tweeted, "Sad and horrified by the tragic events that took place today at the #Ramblas of #Barcelona."

"All my support to the victims and their families during these incredibly tough times."

Earlier today, a van plowed through a crowd in Las Ramblas in Barcelona -- reportedly killing 13 people and injuring many more. Officials are saying it's a terrorist attack.

Daniel Cormier to Jon Jones: Sorry, Bro ... We Ain't Gonna Be Friends

Daniel Cormier just rejected Jon Jones' friend request -- but the good news ... it sounds like they don't hate each other as much as they used to.

Remember, the animosity between the two was legendary -- they trashed each other for years in public and in private and called each other every bad name in the book.

But after Jones defeated Cormier at UFC 214 in July, JJ offered the olive branch -- and then told TMZ Sports he hoped the two would be friends one day.

Well, Cormier finally responded Wednesday night on FS1's "UFC Tonight" -- and politely declined the offer.

"Friendship would be very difficult for us to achieve because of our history," Cormier said ... "And I'm okay with that. I've always said that we don't have to be friends."
