USC athletic director Mike Bohn just went scorched-earth on a school booster for "abhorrent and blatantly racist" tweets ... revoking the person's privileges to Trojan season tickets.
A Twitter user operating under the handle "@SoCalMAB" -- an account that has since been deleted -- fired off several disturbing tweets over the weekend during national protests.
In some, the user -- whose account had a profile picture of former USC receiver Michael Pittman standing next to a female fan -- advocated to "shoot the protestors."
The tweets got so nasty ... Pittman himself felt the need to intervene, telling the account to remove his picture from the profile ASAP.
@SoCalMAB if you truly believe the things you have said, I politely ask you to take me out of your profile picture. This is disappointing, I know my true Trojan family would never. In times like this, it is important for us to stand together. https://t.co/CH5aVAwiTz

"@SoCalMAB if you truly believe the things you have said, I politely ask you to take me out of your profile picture," the Indianapolis Colts rookie said. "This is disappointing, I know my true Trojan family would never. In times like this, it is important for us to stand together."
Bohn said on Monday the school launched an investigation into the tweets after they were made aware of the disturbing content ... and after they identified the fan as a school booster, they dropped the hammer.
"Following an immediate investigation into the matter, we informed the individual that their season ticket and Trojan Athletic Fund membership privileges have been revoked and their payments will be promptly returned," Bohn said. "Their account has been flagged in our system to prevent future purchases."
Bohn added, "Thank you to the USC community for helping us identify this individual so that we could move swiftly to terminate our relationship. We stand in solidarity with the Black community."
For the Twitter user's part ... the person reportedly released an apology before deleting the account, writing, "My remarks were made in a fit of anger at circumstances in general. It was a stupid thing to say. And wasn’t directed at anyone’s race. Just upset at all the destruction."

Here's video of Conor McGregor eating bees straight out of a jar ... all while saying what everyone else is thinking -- "WHAT THE F**K IS THIS?!?!?"
It's unclear why the UFC superstar decided on the unique snack Monday morning ... but the video of his chow down is pretty wild.
Check out the jar the Champ Champ opens up ... it's straight-up dead bees -- and on the label, it says they're flavored with macadamia nuts from Australia and Jamaican pepper.
You can see in the clip ... Conor ain't exactly stoked to taste the insects -- and when he accidentally drops some on his stomach, it'll send a shiver down your spine!!
It's also pretty hilarious when he asks his infant son if he wants a piece of the snack ... 'cause Baby McGregor wants ZERO PART of it all!!
As for how they tasted ... it didn't seem too awful -- at least judging by Conor's reaction -- 'cause after he finished chomping down, he had a very "meh" reaction.
There's a bees-spiders-Anderson Silva joke in here somewhere ... but we're kinda too grossed out right now to make it. Sorry.

J.R. Smith says he's disappointed in himself for opening a can of whoop-ass on an alleged vandal ... saying it was a "random act of stupidness" on both sides.
TMZ Sports posted the video of the incident ... where Smith is seen unloading a bunch of violent kicks on a man who allegedly smashed his car window during the protests in L.A. this weekend.
Smith joined the "Pat McAfee Show" on Monday to give more insight into the situation ... and the NBAer admits he wishes the incident never happened in the first place.
"Granted, if he would've seen me, and seen somebody outside the car or outside the house or whatever, do I think he would've broke it? Absolutely not," Smith says.
"It was just a random act of stupidness, and I give him that. But, that ass whooping was a random act of stupidness on my behalf."
J.R. says he's supporting the peaceful protests in honor of George Floyd, but condemns the looting and vandalism.
"This man was down there for 8:46 for no reason. Literally, taking the life from him. Calling for his dead mother."
"And then, we go out here and try to represent his name in a good way and between tarnishing people's shops -- like so many people have nothing to do with the situation."
Smith continued ... "We should be able to lock arms and stand in front of somebody's store and say no this is not right. Being able to do stuff like this isn't right."
As for the moment he unloaded on the alleged vandal, Smith says he regrets how it went down.
"When it happened, I seen red. Then when I finally snapped to... I'm still disappointed with myself."
"For me, I'm 34 years old. I have 4 little girls at home. I don't want that image, regardless of the fact whether it was right or wrong, I don't want them to have that image of their dad being capable of doing that, and doing something like that."
Smith DID have a sense of humor about his kicking form, though ... saying, "I was trying to go Bones Jones or Anderson Silva."

MLB's Dale Murphy Son Shot In Eye W/ Rubber Bullet ... At Colorado Protest

Atlanta Braves legend Dale Murphy says his son nearly lost his eye while peacefully protesting over the weekend ... claiming an officer fired a rubber bullet at his kid's face.
The two-time National League MVP explained the terrifying situation Sunday ... saying his son was protesting George Floyd's tragic death in Denver, Colo. when cops opened fire with less-than-lethal weapons.
Murphy says his son needed to be rushed to the hospital ... but, fortunately, the former MLB star says he appears to have avoided serious injury.
"Luckily, his eye was saved due to a kind stranger that was handing out goggles to protestors shortly before the shooting and another kind stranger that drove him to the ER," Murphy says.
Murphy claims others who were protesting with his son were not so lucky and suffered "permanent" disabilities as a result of the cops' actions ... and now, he's pleading for change.
"As terrible as this experience has been, we know that it's practically nothing compared to the systemic racism and violence against Black life that he was protesting in the first place," Murphy said.
"Black communities across America have been terrorized for centuries by excessive police force."
Murphy added, "If you're a beneficiary of systemic racism, then you will not be able to dismantle it at no cost to yourself. You will have to put yourself at risk. It might not always result in being physically attacked, but it will require you to make yourself vulnerable."
Murphy implored his followers to continue to peacefully protest ... as well as donate to Black Lives Matter charities that have been set up throughout the country.
"Please consider taking action for a more just world," Murphy said.

"I just think that people are fed up, which is why the violence has started," Marshall tells TMZ Sports.
"I would never want to see anyone get hurt, but I see why."
"If you could understand the timeline, if you could understand the course of events that continues to happen, it’s only natural that happens."

"When I was kneeling, and when I tried to stand up, Denver changed their use of force policy. So, I thought that was a win, right, I’m all that’s cool that’s one step for the bigger picture."
Marshall also weighed in on the NFL's new statement which calls for "an urgent need for action" against racial injustice,.
"There was a need for action in 2016 and well before that, to be honest with you," Marshall says.
"There’s been an urgent action needed. But, you know, this is what happens when you just kinda drag your feet."

Powerful statement from Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis ... who's begging people protesting George Floyd's tragic death to stop the rioting and looting.
"Emotions are high. The temperature is hot. And, there’s static in the air," Davis said Sunday. "But burning your brother’s house down ultimately is not the answer."
Instead, Davis is asking people to find solutions to the problem outside of more violence.
"To watch a man be murdered by a uniformed police officer kneeling on the man’s throat for nine minutes while three uniformed police officers either assisted or stood by watching is disturbing in too many ways," Davis said. "To be honest I’m surprised that the resulting violence hasn’t been much worse."
— Las Vegas Raiders (@Raiders) June 1, 2020 @Raiders
"We have to come up with solutions. That’s the challenge in front of us. Not only as Americans. But as human beings."
Davis says he's already been in contact with Nevada law enforcement officials to take steps toward that direction ... telling ESPN he's trying to set up a meeting of the minds soon.
"I want to get together with players, coaches and community leaders to get the conversation going, to discuss how to go forward," Davis said. "The solutions start here at the local level, with the attorney general, the sheriff and other community leaders to open up lines of communication. That's the beginning."
Davis added he'll support his players in protest ... saying, "If they have something to say, I'll stand beside them. I won't stand behind them. I'll stand beside them."

"Broke my sh*t."
Smith says his truck was parked in a residential area -- away from the stores that were being looted.
We're told the incident took place around the Fairfax area -- near the famous Flight Club sneaker shop, which had just been looted.
"I chased him down and whooped his ass," Smith said.

"I'm down in Clearwater," Daly says, "he's a Buc now, so if he wants to come out, we'll go play golf or I'll meet him -- I can help him in 10 minutes!"
Tom's biggest problem, according to Daly? It's all about the driver ... John tells us Tom's refusal to use one because of lack of confidence in the club is KILLING the QB's scores.

"That's the easiest club in the bag to hit," Daly says. "It's the biggest face in your bag. And, somebody's not helping him. We need to get his driver right. We got to give him a driver."
Of course, Brady didn't pack one for his awful performance in "The Match" vs. Peyton Manning and Tiger Woods earlier this month -- and Daly says that has to change.
"He'd hit it probably an extra 100 yards," Daly tells us, "and the whole game would change for him."
Tom should take the advice ... Daly was famous for his long drives when he was a regular on the PGA Tour -- hitting them 300-plus with ease.
So, what do you say, Tom? Grip it and rip it or what!?!

Jon Jones says his run as UFC's light heavyweight champ is OVER -- claiming he's giving up the title amid a nasty pay dispute with Dana White.
"I hurt myself every time I walk out there and take a punch to the head and not feel my pay is worth it anymore," Jones said.
The drama began over negotiations for a Jon Jones vs. Francis Ngannou super fight.
Dana White said Jones is demanding $30 mil for the fight -- way too high for White. Jones says he never asked for that much.
Both have spoken publicly -- calling BS on the other side.
In fact, just a few days ago, Jones tweeted at White to release him from his contract.
Things escalated on Sunday ...
Jones tweeted that Dominick Reyes should fight Jan Blachowicz for the light heavyweight title ... saying, "As of right now, I got nothing to really gain fighting either of them."
"Let me know if you guys want to set up a day in 2021 for that Izzy fight. Hopefully you guys will be willing to pay by then."
When someone asked Jones if this means he's "revoking" the title -- Jon replied, "Yes."
"Bones out, when you see me in the streets just call me JJ."
"To the light heavyweight title Veni, vidi, vici" -- which means, "I came, I saw, I conquered."

Jake Paul In the Thick of Looting at AZ Mall ... Tries Clearing It Up

10:10 AM PT -- Jake Paul has responded to videos showing him smackdab in the middle of looting that went on in Arizona Saturday night, and his explanation boils down to ... documenting, not partaking.
JP put up a lengthy statement on social media, saying he and his crew were trying to film the goings-on -- at which point he says cops forced them away, by gassing 'em. Eventually, he says he found himself in the middle of the mall break-in, and decided to capture all of it -- for his YouTube channel, no doubt, but also to shed light on the sitch.
Jake says he doesn't condone violence but also wants people to see what's going down so we can figure out a way to move forward.
Jake Paul was in the middle of a mall that was being looted Saturday night, and he's taking lots of heat for it.
The YouTube star was at Fashion Square in Scottsdale, Arizona, and you can see in the video, the looters are stealing tennis shoes and pretty much everything that isn't nailed down.
You don't see Paul steal anything, but he's right there as everyone around him destroys shops and steals what's inside.
One of the most ridiculous comments on social media ... Jake is a millionaire, so he doesn't need to loot. That logic justifies looting for some, and that's just plain wrong.
Van Jones said it best ... most people -- regardless of color -- condemn the violence. To make things better, the folks who constantly turned a deaf ear to police brutality need to speak out as loudly, and maybe we can make some progress.
