Boxing star Adrien Broner was arrested for DUI late Friday night in Miami Beach, TMZ Sports has learned.

We're told the 30-year-old former champ was stopped by police around 8:45 PM local time -- and officers quickly believed Broner was under the influence, so they arrested him for DUI.

Broner was taken to a nearby station where he was awake long enough to take a drowsy mug shot. Bond was set at $1,000 but he's on an 8-hour hold so he'll be behind bars until at least 4 AM on Saturday.

It's just the latest in a string of legal issues for the former prodigy -- he's been accused of sexually assaulting multiple women, assaulting people in public and he's been sued multiple times for not paying jewelry debts.

Broner was once considered one of the best prospects in boxing. He was a champ in 4 weight classes -- and Floyd Mayweather took him under his wing. At one point, he gave himself the nickname "About Billions."

Broner is 33-4 as a pro -- but he hasn't won a fight since 2017. Since then, he lost to Manny Pacquiao and Mikey Garcia ... and fought to a draw with Jessie Vargas.

Chiefs Kingdom is getting yet another huge assist from the Honey Badger ... 'cause top free agent corner Chris Harris Jr. says Tyrann Mathieu's recruiting him HARD to Kansas City!!

"[He says] just come up there, man," Harris Jr. tells TMZ Sports. "Play with him, be able to do what I've done in the past -- play everywhere on the field, and also play with a great quarterback!"

Harris Jr. appears to be on his way out of Denver after spending the last 9 seasons in Mile High ... and he says he's hearing from a TON of teams interested in bringing him in when free agency kicks off later this month.

Specifically, CHJ tells us, Houston Texans players have been all over him ... and says Mathieu has also been in his ear about playing DB alongside him in K.C.

As for how the pitches are working ... Harris Jr. says he has ZERO inklings right now of where he'll end up next, telling us, "I really don't, bro. I really have no idea."

Harris Jr. says his plan for free agency will be to get his list of teams down to 10 or 5 by the end of this weekend ... and then make a decision on the first day of the new league year on March 18.

"I'm really just looking for the best situation," Harris Jr. says. "Of course, you want a team that's going to pay you and appreciate you, one, and then also how they're going to use me."

If Chuck Liddell wants a job with WWE, all he's gotta do is pick up his phone and call his buddy, Shane McMahon ... who tells TMZ Sports he wants to bring the Ice Man on board!!

Of course, we spoke with the UFC legend last week ... and the 50-year-old told us he's officially retired from MMA for good ... but would still love to beat the crap outta folks in the squared circle.

We spoke with Vince's son outside Craig's in L.A. about our interview with Chuck ... and it's safe to say the feeling is mutual ... 'cause Shane thinks the idea is AWESOME!!

Luke Voit didn't have to give away his number to Gerrit Cole for free ... the NY Yankees stud tells TMZ Sports the team's new ace coughed over a SOLID prize for No. 45!!

"He hooked me up with something cool," Voit said.

Luke rocked the digits the past two seasons in New York ... but when Cole came over on a 9-year, $324 MILLION deal in free agency -- he asked the 29-year-old first baseman for the uni.

Turns out, Voit says Cole didn't come empty-handed either!!

As for what he got, Voit -- who ended up switching to No. 59 -- tells us he can't say exactly ... but did joke, "I should've had him buy me a house or something. Or, a car."

We also talked to Voit about his superhuman strength -- remember, the guy benched a 145-pound barbell with ONE ARM in 2018 -- and he tells us he's the strongest guy on the team.

In fact, he says his 2-rep max on the bench press is 365!!!

More trouble for NFL player Austin Seferian-Jenkins -- the free agent tight end has been arrested for DUI again ... TMZ Sports has learned.

We're told ASJ was picked up by the Gig Harbor Police Dept. in Gig Harbor, Wash. (where he played high school football) and was booked in Kitsap County Jail on March 9.

A court official tells us, he was hit with three charges stemming from the arrest ... 1 count of DUI, 1 count of driving with a suspended license, and 1 count of operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device.

We're told Seferian-Jenkins was also hit with a civil infraction for speeding and improper lane change ... and was arraigned on the charges on March 11.

We've reached out to Seferian-Jenkins' camp for comment ... but so far, no word back yet.

Of course, this isn't the first time the tight end's been accused of drunk driving ... he's been arrested twice for the offense since 2013, with the most recent one coming in 2016.

In police video we obtained of that arrest ... you can see ASJ was clearly slurring his words during the stop -- and even told the officer he had to take a "huge s***."

Floyd is sharing photos of him with Josie and two of their boys, Koraun and Zion ... and the captions are pretty telling -- angel, heart, love, rock, sweetheart, friend and family.

TMZ Sports broke the story ... Josie was found dead at her home in Valencia, CA Tuesday night and cops say she was unresponsive in her car. She was 40.

Patrick Mahomes STAYS winning!!!

The Super Bowl MVP avoided the coronavirus pandemic this week by soaking in some Mexico rays -- and he did it all with his bikini-clad GF and a grip of her friends!!

The Chiefs superstar hit up a boat with his boo, Brittany Matthews, and her crew down in Cabo ... and as you can see, there wasn't a COVID-19 concern insight.

Mahomes sucked face with Brittany often, chilled on the boat's bed ... and it sure as hell looked like he and everyone else had a blast.

"Great times with Great people!!" Mahomes said of the trip.

Of course, it's just the latest in a long line of Ws for the 24-year-old ... who just can't seem to lose these last few weeks.

A pro rugby player in England won't be hitting the pitch for the next TWO AND A HALF MONTHS ... and it's all 'cause he grabbed and pinched some dude's junk in a game.

A disciplinary committee announced the 10-week suspension Thursday ... saying when Joe Marler inappropriately squeezed a player's genitals in a Six Nations Championship match last week -- he "committed an act of foul play."

If ya missed it ... Marler -- a stud player for English rugby squad Harlequin F.C. -- reached down and fondled an opponent's crotch in the Wales vs. England tilt on March 7.

You can see in footage of the incident ... the victim was NOT happy about the grab -- and tried to point out the illegal squeeze to the refs.

At a hearing this week ... a disciplinary committee announced 29-year-old Marler will not be allowed to play again until June 8 -- but did say he has the right to appeal.

Marler tweeted -- and then deleted -- about the incident a day after it went down, writing "Bollocks. Complete bollocks."

FYI, it was a pretty good deal for Marler all things considered ... because he was facing up to a 4-YEAR ban for the move.

One of the men convicted in the 1993 shooting death of Michael Jordan's father is up for parole ... despite being sentenced to life in prison.

MJ's dad James Jordan Sr. was shot to death in July 1993 while sleeping in his car at a rest stop in North Carolina. His body was dumped off a bridge in South Carolina and recovered 11 days later.

Two men -- Larry Demery and Daniel Andre Green -- were arrested for the murder. Both were convicted of 1st-degree murder and armed robbery and each got life sentences.

But, the North Carolina Post-Release Supervision and Parole Commission says 44-year-old Demery is now being considered for parole by way of the Mutual Agreement Parole Program.

The MAPP is "designed to prepare selected inmates for release through structured activities, scheduled progression in custody levels, participation in community based programs and established parole dates," according to the NC Dept. of Public Safety.
