Glen 'Big Baby' Davis Warns Zion Williamson ... Being Your Size Cost Me My Career!!!

Glen "Big Baby" Davis says Zion Williamson needs to lose weight ASAP ... 'cause he tells TMZ Sports being the same size as the Pelicans star cost him his NBA career!
"That’s one of the reasons why I stopped playing was because of my weight," Glen says.
Davis says he was just too damn heavy during his playing days at around 289 pounds ... and blames the weight for 2015 ankle and foot issues that ultimately ended his NBA career.
Now, he's sending a warning to Zion -- who's listed height and weight (6'7", 285) is nearly identical to Davis' when he was playing -- saying Williamson's gotta drop some pounds.
"He has to get his weight under control," Glen says.
Zion is apparently already feeling the effects of being too big ... he's missing the first few weeks of New Orleans' season with a knee injury that some are sayin' happened because of his size.
The good news for Williamson? Davis says Zion is going to be just fine as soon as he gets down to a weight his body can truly support consistently.
"He might have to lose some muscle mass, but other that, he should be OK."
By the way, we also showed Davis the rumored new Celtics' alternate uniforms ... and ya gotta hear him hilariously crap all over the threads!!!

Of course, Trey says he's not gonna be stupid with his money -- he knows all the cautionary tales -- but at a point, ya gotta be able to enjoy the fruits of your labor, right!?
The defensive end inked his fat new deal with Detroit back in March -- receiving $40 MILLION in guaranteed money -- and he hopes to make his dream of owning mansion a reality in the future.
"Something real dope that's real player-like, you know?" Flowers says.
For now, the 26-year-old says the only notable things he's done with his new cash has been charity work and making some investments in businesses ... which is GREAT, BTW.
But, when we asked what he's eyeing to buy down the road when he eventually splurges ... he revealed to us he's got his sights set on a big house near his hometown of Huntsville, Alabama.
"I like houses," Flowers says. "I like having the vibes. Get the vibes right and things like that for the family and stuff. So, yeah, it might be something like that."
As for Trey's on-the-field work, he's coming off his biggest game of the season last weekend against the Giants -- and he's hoping that rolls over into their game against the Raiders on Sunday.
By the way, when we asked which of his new Detroit teammates has surprised him most this season ... he told us there's one wide receiver in particular who's really caught his eye!

The UFC is honing in on the next opponent for Jon Jones -- with Dana White telling TMZ Sports they're looking at undefeated Dominick Reyes as "the fight that makes sense."
Reyes -- who KO'd Chris Weidman in the 1st round of their Oct. 12 fight -- is 12-0 as a pro and currently ranked #4 in the lightweight division. He's also defeated guys like Jared Cannonier, Volkan Oezdemir and Ovince Saint Preux.
In fact, when we spoke with Reyes AFTER the Weidman fight -- he was begging the UFC to give him a crack at the G.O.A.T.
"I got these hands. I got this heart. I'm Mexican. He's never fought a Mexican. I'm tough as s**t and I'm never gonna stop!"
Well, good news for Reyes ... seems like Dana White is on board.
"The fight that makes sense for Jon Jones is Dominick Reyes," White said.
"He just came off an impressive win over Weidman, a lot of people saw it, pulled good ratings on TV. It's the fight to make."
Jon has been trashing Reyes on social media ... saying things like, "Feel like I have nothing to gain by beating Dominic. I’ve actually felt that way about my last two opponents. I want a super fight."
He also directed this at Reyes, too -- "Many have talk s**t, all have fallen. You will do the same."
Jones has said he wants to fight Francis Ngannou, but White says that's not happening any time soon. When asked if a 2020 clash is a possibility, Dana said, "I don't know."
As for Ngannou, he's been publicly asking for a fight -- and Dana says they've got some cool stuff planned for him in 2020 ... including a fight in France!!!
"We finally got France done," White said ... "We've been working hard for a long time to get that place open for MMA. And, we'll do a fight there. And, obviously Francis would probably headline."

JOHN BOSA LOVES IT!!!

But, it ain't just God-given ability. John says what sets his boys apart is their work ethic.
"They're absolutely relentless on trying to hone their skills and being the best they can be," John says.
"This is Joey's 4th year in the league and he's a miserable S.O.B. after practice if he didn't feel he had a great practice."
John hits all sorts of topics in our conversation. Here are some of the highlights ...
-- John explains why the family doesn't consider themselves "football fans"
-- John talks about why he hates "Thursday Night Football"
-- Why Nick owes a lot of his NFL success to his big bro Joey

Some people clowned Sergey for the selfie move, but The Krusher says he doesn't feel the need to create fake beef just to sell tickets.
“I like his boxing style," Sergey tells us ... "He’s a great champion, really, and I follow him for like all of my career from 2011 when I met with him. Because I saw how he sparred with Gennady Golovkin, and after this, I started to follow him."

Packers' Za'Darius Smith Busted For Speeding ... Weed Found In Car
-

- 4.6K shares
Green Bay Packers star Za'Darius Smith was stopped in September for allegedly speeding ... and when officers searched his car, they cuffed him for having weed.
According to court records, Smith was pulled over on Sept. 29 -- just days after the Packers' loss to the Eagles -- in Racine, Wisc. after cops say he was going 21 MPH over the speed limit.
Per police records, obtained by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Smith was allegedly doing 81 MPH in a 60 MPH zone in his 2019 GMC Yukon at around 5:30 PM.
The records say when the officer pulled over Smith -- who's car passengers included teammates Rashan Gary and Kingsley Keke -- he smelled a strong odor of marijuana.
The records say after the officer searched the car and found three blunts and a vaping cartridge ... Smith took ownership of them, saying, "I'll put it on me."
Records show Smith was hit with citations -- NOT criminal charges -- for speeding and possessing marijuana ... and the Packers players were then allowed to leave.
Smith is due in court next week to deal with the matter.
"The Packers are aware of the matter involving Za’Darius Smith," a team spokesperson told the Sentinel on Friday. "We will refrain from making any further comment as it is a legal matter."
Smith -- who's been a superstar for Green Bay this year after signing a 4-year, $66 MILLION contract this offseason -- could now be subject to NFL discipline under the league's personal conduct policy.
... All for some weed. Ridiculous.
Za'Darius has 8 sacks through 8 games so far this season.

... and guess what, T.O. FRIGGIN' LOVES THE GUY!!!
"Of course he's a superstar," Owens raved ... noting the New England Patriots wouldn't have drafted him and stuck with him so long if he didn't have star potential.
"You think about what he did under the tutelage of Bill Belichick and Tom Brady, I don't think that organization would have acquired Jimmy G if he wouldn't have done some of the things that he did."
Owens also says at 8-0 it's "ridiculous" for people to suggest San Fran isn't a real Super Bowl contender.
So, why is Owens so passionate about the 49ers considering he played for so many teams during his NFL career???
"That's where I started my career. I played 8 years there," Owens said ... noting the 49ers are the team he identifies himself with the most when reflecting on his time in the NFL.
T.O. even points out what he considers to be his most memorable moment ... and yeah, it was a helluva catch.

7:37 AM PT -- Conor McGregor does it again!!! He formally pled guilty in his pub attack case -- but received NO jail time, despite facing 6 months behind bars.
Instead, the court fined McGregor €1,000 ... which converts to roughly $1,116.
Plus, during the hearing, it was confirmed McGregor struck a private financial settlement with the victim, but the exact number was not revealed.
Bottom line, Conor's rich as hell ... so a fine is barely a slap on the wrist.
During the hearing, McGregor told the court, "I assure you nothing of this nature will happen again regarding me."
Yeah, we've heard that one before. By the way, during the hearing it was reportedly revealed that Conor has 18 previous convictions, including a prior assault in 2009. Most of the incidents are moving vehicle violations, like speeding, etc.
Conor McGregor just showed up in court in Ireland where his lawyer told the judge the UFC star will plead GUILTY in his pub attack case.
The UFC superstar is facing one charge of assault after he socked a man in the face at the Marble Arch Pub in Dublin back on April 6, in footage obtained by TMZ Sports.
The charge carries a maximum punishment of 6 months behind bars.

— Irish Daily Mirror (@IrishMirror) November 1, 2019 @IrishMirror
McGregor showed up to court Friday in a fancy suit ... but he wasn't smiling and goofing around. Instead, he was clasping his hands and had his game face on as he walked into the building.
Inside the courtroom, McGregor's attorney told the court his client will be pleading guilty -- but it's not over yet. The court is on a short recess and will resume at 7 AM PT.
The victim in the incident did NOT show up to the hearing and chose not to submit a victim impact statement, according to local reports.
Prosecutors are lobbying to screen the attack video in court before sentencing this afternoon, but Conor's side is trying to block that.
The decision will ultimately be made when court resumes after the break.
McGregor has previously admitted to ESPN he was "in the wrong" for punching the man at the bar ... saying, "That man deserved to enjoy his time in the pub without having it end the way it did."
4/6/19
"I tried to make amends and I made amends back then. But, it doesn't matter. I was in the wrong."
Seems like now he's worked out a plea deal with prosecutors. We'll find out soon how this whole thing will play out.
Stay tuned ...

Israel Adesanya, one of the UFC's brightest stars, says he's excited the President of the United States will be at UFC 244 in NYC this weekend ... and doesn't think there will be any drama.
As we previously reported, President Trump is scheduled to attend the fights at Madison Square Garden on Saturday. He's had a close relationship with the UFC for decades.
But, after Trump was booed at Game 5 of the World Series, some people are concerned he'll get a similar response from fighters and fans when they show his face on the big screen.
"I don't think anyone cares," Adesanya told TMZ Sports outside of Marquee nightclub in New York ... "It's gonna be cool just having the President of the United States."
Jorge Masvidal, who's fighting Nate Diaz in the main event, had a similar opinion when we spoke with him earlier this week.
Bottom line ... doesn't seem like fighters are looking to make a political statement at UFC 244 -- but you never know what's gonna happen when someone gets the mic in their hand.
As for the fight card itself, Israel is PUMPED -- telling us he's excited for the "stacked" lineup ... which includes Kelvin Gastelum vs. Darren Till, Derrick Lewis vs. Blagoy Ivanov and Corey Anderson vs. Johnny Walker.
