The Jay Gruden era in Washington is finally over ... the Redskins fired the head coach after losing its 5th game in 5 weeks.

Surprised? No way. Washington (0-5) has been garbage this season ... and last season. And, the season before that.

But, losing to the New England Patriots at home on Sunday was the final straw for owner Dan Snyder, who fired the 52-year-old just hours after the game.

The team issued a statement saying, "Through the first five games of the 2019 season, the team has clearly not performed up to expectations, and we all share in that responsibility."

Logan ain't the only Paul Brother KSI is looking to destroy in the ring ... the YouTube superstar-turned-boxer tells TMZ Sports he wants a boxing match with Jake Paul!!

We spoke with KSI about his plans following his rematch with Logan on Nov. 9 at Staples Center ... and he revealed he wants his next victim to be the guy who beat his little brother, Deji, last year.

"I want to fight Jake Paul, man. I really want to break his face," KSI tells us.

Of course, KSI and Logan's first matchup ended in a draw. If there would've been a clear winner, Jake says he would've been next in line to take on KSI.

Kylie Jenner and Tyga are definitely hooking up again, or they just HAPPEN to keep showing up at the same places -- in a huge city, mind you -- by total coincidence. You make the call.

The exes' latest close encounter went down Saturday night at Hyde Lounge on the Sunset Strip. KJ arrived on a party bus with her sis, Khloe Kardashian, around 1 AM -- and, as you can see, she was beaming from the second she stepped off the bus. Hmmm, wonder why?

Tyga was already inside at that point. We don't know exactly what time he arrived, but we know it was before 1 AM ... and we know he left at 2 AM.

WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry is now the world's strongest stand-up comedian ... and he's got a surefire way to keep his shows heckler-free -- THREATEN TO WHOOP THEIR ASSES!!!

TMZ Sports spoke with the strongman-turned-wrestler about kickstarting his comedy career ... and he says it's not that much different from beating up big, buff dudes for a living!!!

"Wrestling is just an extension of entertainment, so is comedy," Henry says. "You gotta be able to enjoy it and take it for what it is."

Vontaze Burfict, listen up ... Shawne Merriman's got the PERFECT job for you while you serve your NFL suspension -- a contract to fight in his MMA league!!!

"He's going to have a lot of time on his hands and he needs to put it to good use," Merriman tells TMZ Sports. "So, bring some of that aggression over here!"

Merriman currently helps run the Lights Out Xtreme Fighting league ... and he tells us he's straight-up ready to get the troubled Raiders linebacker a scrap in his cage.

And, why? The ex-Chargers superstar says it's pretty clear ... Burfict is a BAD man -- and he could be a seriously entertaining MMA fighter.

"I just talked to my partners right now," Merriman tells us. "We want to make Vontaze Burfict an offer to come and fight."

Of course, Burfict ain't exactly out of NFL options just yet ... he's still in the process of appealing the season-long suspension the league just handed down to him this week.

But, if the NFL does uphold its initial decision ... Merriman seems all-in on the idea of seeing him scrap in the LXF, telling us, "We got a place for you!"

Rams legend Isaac Bruce ain't going to get on his hands and knees and beg to be in the Hall of Fame ... he tells us his numbers are enough to do all the talking necessary!!!

"I can't do any cartwheels or backwards flips to make people notice me," Bruce says ...

"When introducing me, I always say just put my numbers up front and let the numbers speak for the career that I had."

Bruce -- a 16-year NFL vet -- is widely considered one of the biggest Hall of Fame snubs ... and, in fact, Nate Burleson just told us this week Isaac IS the biggest HoF snub.

But, voters have disagreed -- despite Bruce's wild numbers (1,024 receptions, 15,208 receiving yards, 91 TDs) -- 'cause Isaac's been kept out of Canton for YEARS.

But, Bruce tells us he's staying patient throughout this whole process ... saying he's confident he'll get in at some point.

Bodybuilding superstar Shawn Rhoden ain't giving up on a return to the Mr. Olympia contest ... he tells TMZ Sports, "I'll be back competing in no time."

Rhoden famously beat legendary bodybuilder Phil Heath for the Mr. Olympia title last year ... but he was banned from this year's contest after he was accused of rape.

But, Rhoden -- who VEHEMENTLY denies the allegations -- says he's not giving up on his quest to win Mr. Olympia again, telling us this week that he's still working in the gym.

Teresa Giudice is keeping things afloat at home in New Jersey while her hubby, Joe, is heading to his new home in Italy ... doing it with the help of some American pigskin.

The 'Real Housewives' star was out Saturday at the SHI Stadium in Piscataway, NJ -- where the Rutgers Scarlet Knights were hosting the Maryland Terrapins for a college football game. Her daughter, Gia, attends Rutgers ... and she was there too, of course.

In fact, it looks like Gia -- who's only 18 -- was enjoying herself with a game day can of ... something. Could be beer, could be lemonade -- eh, who the heck knows?

It seems Gia was feeling pretty fearless ... 'cause she posed for a selfie with what appears to be a campus cop right behind her, who was all smiles as well. School spirit, we suppose.

Miley Cyrus is already cooking for her new man ... fueling up Cody Simpson with some breakfast loving.

Cody planted a wet one on Miley Saturday morning, and thanked her for whipping up a meal ahead of a swim meet he has today. The pic, which he posted, screams puppy love for the couple ... even though they just went public like 24 hours ago.

We're guessing Miley was scooping up ingredients for Cody's special breakfast when she hit the grocery store Friday evening.

Gotta say, she sure seemed to have a little extra bounce in her step as she left the store with a cart full of goodies.

TMZ broke the story ... the singers were seen smooching and canoodling Thursday while they were at an L.A. restaurant. Miley later joked, "Can a girl not get a f**king acai bowl and a morning make out session in peace?!?!"

We all know ain't no party like a Snoop Dogg party, but Snoop's idea of fun -- dancers on stripper poles -- has the University of Kansas apologizing to its loyal hoops fans.

Snoop performed Friday night at the KU Jayhawks annual Late Night in the Phog -- a preseason pep rally of sorts -- and it looked like one of his typically awesome shows. As he strolled around the court rapping ... his backup dancers were putting in work on multiple stripper poles. Think "Hustlers" ... minus J Lo.

However, the university says it wanted a PG show from the hip-hop legend. KU's Director of Athletics Jeff Long says, "We made it clear to the entertainers’ managers that we expected a clean version of the show and took additional steps to communicate to our fans, including moving the artist to the final act of the evening, to ensure that no basketball activities would be missed if anyone did not want to stay for his show."

Pro wrestler Jeff Hardy has his second DWI arrest in as many years, and it sounds like the WWE's patience -- as well as his family's -- is wearing thin.

Hardy -- AKA Brother Nero -- was busted in Moore County, NC on Thursday around 10:30 PM. He was booked for driving while impaired, and for driving on a revoked drivers license.

Hardy got his first DWI in March 2018 -- also in North Carolina -- after getting into a car accident. He was totally blitzed, according to cops who said he blew a .25 BAC -- more than 3 times the legal limit.

As TMZ Sports first reported ... he was also arrested in July of this year for public intoxication in Myrtle Beach.

The crowded heavyweight boxing landscape might have to make some room for an old tenant ... because Wladimir Klitschko might be making a return, according to his trainer.

We talked to Jonathan Banks, the man who trained Klitschko, and is training GGG for his huge fight this weekend against Sergiy Derevyanchenko Saturday night, and Banks hinted to us that Klitschko is contemplating a return. 

"After a conversation with him like a week ago maybe, now I can say anything's possible."

Wlad's last two losses are to Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, and he wasn't dominated in either fight, as a matter of fact, he dropped AJ in their fight, which was an all-time classic.

"I told him these exact words, 'If this is what you make up your mind to do, you have my 100% support.'"

WK is 43, making him much older than the dominant heavyweights today, but still, if you watch Banks talk, it seems he believes Klitschko can do it.

Does Seattle Seahawks legend Shaun Alexander deserve a bust in Canton?

Nate Burleson says the ex-running back definitely deserves consideration for it ... telling TMZ Sports, "Not first ballot, but should you consider him second ballot? Yeah."

Shaun rushed for 9,429 yards and 100 TDs in 119 career games for the Seahawks from 2000 to 2007. He also won the league MVP in 2005.

But, most NFL experts believe he's NOT a Hall of Famer ... saying he just didn't do enough for long enough to be among the league's all-time legends.

So, when we got Burleson -- who played with Shaun in Seattle in 2006 and 2007 -- we had to get his thoughts on Shaun's candidacy ... and he broke it all down for us.

"With Shaun Alexander, there's three tiers," Nate says. "Was he one of the best of his draft class? Yes. Was he one of the best of his era? Yes."

"And, can you write the story of football without him? That might be up for debate."

Nate says because of all that ... he believes HOF voters should definitely take a deeper look at Shaun when the next round of voting begins, telling us, "He should be considered."

TMZ Sports has obtained surveillance video of the moment NFL D-lineman Darius Philon allegedly pulled a gun on women in a strip club parking lot ... but it's unclear if the guy ever committed the crime.

Earlier this summer ... a woman accused Philon -- a 25-year-old who was playing for the Arizona Cardinals at the time -- of threatening to shoot her and her friend in a strip club parking lot.

In the police report, obtained by TMZ Sports, the woman alleges that on May 17 ... she was dancing at V-Live in Phoenix, Arizona when Darius asked her and her friend to come to his car so he could pay her.

She alleges that when they got to his car ... he pulled a gun on them, pointed it at their chests and said, "Which one of you wants a bullet?"

She says when she told him to put the gun down and went to the other side of her friend ... he pointed the gun at her a second time.

In the surveillance video ... you can see Philon clearly speaking with the two women -- but it's difficult to tell if he ever brandishes a weapon.

Cops launched an investigation ... and eventually arrested Philon on Aug. 9 -- booking the 6-foot-1, 286-pounder for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

A day later, the Cardinals cut Philon.

But, Philon is still waiting to receive formal charges in the case ... a rep for the Maricopa County Attorney's office tells us, "We received the case for review less than a week ago and are currently reviewing it for a charging decision."

Philon -- who's still an NFL free agent searching for another team -- signed a 2-year deal worth $10 MILLION with the Cards just months before his August release.

LeBron James says he's the G.O.A.T. ... but Byron Scott says LBJ's not even the G.O.A.T. Laker ... 'cause he tells TMZ Sports there are 2 players James will NEVER pass on the all-time list.

Of course, Scott is part of the rich Lakers history -- he won 3 titles with the Showtime Lakers in the '80s ... and played 11 seasons in the purple & gold.

Some of the best players in NBA history have put on a Laker jersey -- Magic Johnson, Kobe Bryant, Shaq, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar ... hell, even Karl Malone was in L.A. for one season.

We spoke with Scott at LAX about where the King sits among the list of all-time Laker greats ... and he says there's NO WAY LeBron will ever take the throne.

"That ain't possible. It's Magic and Kareem," Scott says ... noting that Kobe is definitely in the conversation.

But, Scott doesn't think LBJ's stint with L.A. will resemble that of Malone's, Steve Nash's or Gary Payton's -- he thinks James will be able to bring home multiple titles back to the Lakers.

Kanye West and Rick Fox are joining forces to help aid those in need in the Bahamas after the country was devastated by Hurricane Dorian.

Yeezy and Rick were spotted together Thursday at the Baha Mar Resort in Nassau, before speaking with government officials about ways to assist rebuilding efforts in communities impacted by the storm.

Rick is the president of the Bahamas Relief Foundation -- he lived there when he was growing up -- and the 3-time NBA champion has been helping raise funds and supplies for the island nation following the worst natural disaster in the country's history.

Now, Kanye is helping out too ... and our sources say he's been bros with Rick for years.

Ye and Rick are part of the growing list of celebs lending a helping hand to the Bahamas ... Michael Jordan pledged $1 MILLION to relief efforts, and Tyler Perry sent supply shipments via his personal seaplane.

Other famous folks opening their wallets include Ludacris, Luke Walton and Buddy Hield.

So far, officials say at least 50 people are confirmed dead -- with hundreds of people still unaccounted for.
