Dana White Brock Lesnar's 'Done' In UFC ... 'He Made His Decision'
-
EXCLUSIVE
Brock Lesnar's career in the UFC is over ... for good ... so says Dana White who tells TMZ Sports, "He's done. He's made his decision."
Of course, White has previously said he was hoping to book Brock for a super fight with heavyweight champ Daniel Cormier ... but the two sides just couldn't get a deal done.
Now, White says Lesnar has chosen to focus on his career with the WWE -- and Dana says he respects Brock's decision.
"I know he was looking into doing a new deal with [Vince McMahon] to stay with the WWE."
Dana says he's "always had a good relationship with Brock, we've always dealt really well with each other" ... but the bottom line is Lesnar isn't "100% in" on fighting anymore.
"You have to be ALL IN on fighting and if you're not all in, then you shouldn't fight," Dana says.
"He made the decision and it's the right decision."
We also spoke with Dana about rising UFC superstar Johnny Walker, who's recovering from a shoulder injury ... but already hoping for a fight with Jon Jones.
"That guy is a freak of nature," White said ... "I can see this guy being a world champion someday. I can't wait for him to come back."
As for that match up with Jones ... White says Walker has to get a few more fights under his belt first -- but seems like it's just a matter of time.

Victor Page Ex-Georgetown Star Agrees To Serve 20 Years In Prison For Assault
-
EXCLUSIVE
- 2.5K shares
Victor Page -- the ex-Georgetown star who was caught on video brutally attacking a woman -- just agreed to a plea deal that will lock him behind bars for 20 YEARS ... prosecutors tell TMZ Sports.
As we previously reported ... Page -- who played with Allen Iverson at Georgetown -- was arrested after a 17-year-old girl claimed he violently assaulted her back in December.
43-year-old Page was allegedly at the victim's apartment in Camp Springs, Maryland on Dec. 30 when she claims he tried to rape her inside the home.
She was able to flee ... but as you can see in a video obtained by TMZ Sports, he followed her outside and smothered her while she was on the ground for roughly 2 minutes.
Page was arrested a few days later after the victim went to authorities ... and he was eventually hit with several serious charges -- including assault, attempted rape and child abuse.
He was facing up to LIFE in prison.
But, a spokesperson for the Prince George’s County State Attorney's Office says Page cut a deal this week ... and is pleading guilty to 1st-degree assault and 4th-degree attempted sex offense.
In exchange, the spokesperson says Page will get 20 YEARS in prison and another 5 years of probation when he gets out.
We're also told Victor will be required to register as a sex offender and provide a DNA sample for 15 years upon his release.
Page -- who was previously sentenced to 10 years in prison for 2nd-degree assault in 2013 (but was released early) -- is due back in court in July for the official sentencing.

-
EXCLUSIVE
Ex-boxing superstar Antonio Tarver was pretty pissed to be arrested in front of his neighbors after he allegedly socked his stepson in the mouth ... telling cops, "that's ridiculous, man."
It's all in police video obtained by TMZ Sports ... which shows Tarver getting put in the back of a cop car after he and his 18-year-old stepson, Aziya Taylor, got into an altercation at Tarver's Florida home last August.
As we previously reported, Taylor told cops a dispute at a Waffle House earlier in the day led to Tarver attacking him, socking him and throwing him in the garage.
In 911 calls previously obtained by TMZ Sports ... you can hear the alleged scuffle break out -- followed by a neighbor telling dispatch that Aziya was a bloody mess from the incident.
50-year-old Tarver was ultimately arrested for domestic battery -- and as you can see in the video, dude was NOT happy to be put in cuffs in his own neighborhood, saying, "I don't know why ya'll gotta handcuff me."
"All my neighbors out here, man. That's ridiculous, man."
But, Antonio -- who was facing up to 1 year in jail for the altercation -- just cut a deal with prosecutors last week ... and in exchange for a no contest plea -- he had his battery charge reduced to misdemeanor disorderly conduct.
Tarver's punishment? Around $350 in court fees and fines.
Tarver -- now listed at 6'2", 225 pounds -- was a stud boxer back in the day ... winning multiple belts and scoring impressive wins over stars like Roy Jones Jr.
Antonio also starred as Mason "The Line" Dixon in the 2006 "Rocky Balboa" movie.

So grab a pen and paper, Zion ... 'cause Mr. Wonderful is about to give you a crash course in being rich AF.

Andy Ruiz Jr. Loosens Up His Belt ... on Modest Mexican Grub w/ Mariachis!!!
Andy Ruiz Jr. ain't one to let a little thing like a boxing title change up his dining preferences -- the dude digs authentic Mexican ... even if it means getting it from a hole-in-the-wall joint.
The newly-minted heavyweight champ -- who recently stunned the world by defeating the heavily-favored Anthony Joshua -- was spotted chowing down at a low-key Mexican chain Friday with his girlfriend and the rest of his fam in El Centro, CA ... almost 2 hours east of San Diego.
The restaurant of their choice ... La Resaca -- known for their seafood and with a nearly 5-star rating off a ton of good reviews. It's a modest joint, but it was perfect for Ruiz and co.
Daaamn, did Andy Ruiz really just expose Anthony Joshua at MADISON SQUARE GARDEN 💀😳
@ahmedJ_23
Love an underdog story 🙌 pic.twitter.com/QTK6u9Ugcm
You'd think after becoming the toast of the town everywhere he's gone since the upset last weekend, he MIGHT just treat himself to something a bit more swanky in, say, L.A., maybe? Seems like that isn't his style though -- he'll stick to chips and salsa ... and live mariachis.
We gotta say ... it's been a while since we've come across a guy like Andy Jr. here. He certainly doesn't fit the mold for what we've come to expect of a ringside champion but at the same time ... it's refreshing to see homeboy flip the script on everyone and their mom.
Speaking of moms ... happy birthday to Andy's ma, Mrs. Ruiz! We're told they were all out there celebrating her 58th birthday. Never change, ARJ.

LL Cool J Hell Yes, Ruiz Jr. Deserves $50 Mil ... That's the Price for the Belts!!!
-
EXCLUSIVE
Don't call it a comeback, call it a payout -- LL Cool J's coming out swinging for Andy Ruiz Jr., saying if Anthony Joshua wants back the belts, he's gotta pay the guy who took 'em.
We got LL at LAX Friday, and the famous fight fan wasn't just riding the "Pay Ruiz" train ... he was the freakin' conductor!!! We asked him about the new WBO, WBA, IBF and IBO heavyweight champ demanding $50 MILLION, if the Joshua rematch is held on AJ's turf in the UK.
LL didn't hesitate, telling us ... "He should get more than that. Gotta get every dime you can get, baby!"
Cool J says people gotta stop looking at Ruiz as the relatively unknown guy he was before he shocked the world by upsetting Joshua last weekend in Madison Square Garden.
As LL put it, "He got the belts now and this is the price."
He added you also have to take into account the kinda beating boxers take every time they step in the ring. He gave a shout out to Canadian boxer Adonis Stevenson, who was left in critical condition with a brain injury last year.
That's why LL says, Ruiz is "supposed to charge. They work hard, they risk their lives."
As for who would win the rematch -- LL isn't willing to lay a bet just yet -- but when it comes to a possible Ruiz-Deontay Wilder bout? He's 100% on that one.

Lindsey Vonn Gotta Give 'Queen' Serena the Mic ... Yes, Even After a Loss!!!
-
EXCLUSIVE
Game recognize game ... which might be why Lindsey Vonn says Serena Williams bumping another player from a French Open interview podium is just the way it goes when you're the queen.
The G.O.A.T. of women's downhill skiing was leaving Craig's Friday night in WeHo when we asked if the women's tennis G.O.A.T. deserves the flak she got at the Open this week. If you missed it, Dominic Thiem was forced to move to a different post-match interview room, because Serena was in a hurry to do interviews and leave after Sofia Kenin upset her. Thiem was pissed.
But, Lindsey summed it up in 3 words ... "She's the queen."
Dominic Thiem was midway through the German-speaking section of his press conference when he was told he had to leave the main interview room and switch to a smaller one in order to accommodate Serena Williams after her loss to Sofia Kenin. He was furious. Understandably.#RG19 pic.twitter.com/KyzOAuh8mm
@Beeorlicious
We're pretty sure Dominic wouldn't see it that way ... he was pretty ticked after getting bumped.
Full disclosure: Lindsey and Serena are pals. LV was actually at the Open cheering on Serena at one of her earlier matches.
And, sure, Thiem is the 4th ranked men's player -- he's no chump -- Lindsey's point seems to be ... sometimes ya just gotta kiss the ring in the presence of royalty.

Common Praises NBA Teams for Dropping 'Owner' Title ... 'Nobody Owns Us'
-
EXCLUSIVE
- 6.2K shares
Common says NBA teams are RIGHT for moving away from the term "owner" -- telling TMZ Sports the title "never sat right with me."
We broke the story ... multiple NBA teams -- and even the NBA league office -- have replaced the title with words like "Managing Partner" and "Chairman" over feelings that "owner" is racially insensitive in a league where the majority of the players are black.
So, when we saw Common at Matsuhisa in L.A. on Thursday, we asked if he felt the change is a good thing ... or an unnecessary overreaction?
"I'm so pleased," Common told us ... "The term owner -- it didn't sit right with me."
"The history of what we have and we are as black people in this country ... it's just not really being considerate of the history."
Common says he was impressed with NBA Commissioner Adam Silver -- who referred to one team's majority investor as "Governor" instead of "owner."
He's also giving credit to Draymond Green for speaking out about the issue on LeBron's show "The Shop" in late 2018 ... when he explained why the term "owner" should go the way of the Dodo.
"Nobody owns us," Common added ... "These men are professionals."

Oscar De La Hoya Canelo Will KO GGG Next Time ... But That Won't Be Soon
-
EXCLUSIVE
Oscar De La Hoya says Canelo Alvarez is gonna wait his sweet ass time before giving GGG a rematch ... but when it does happen, this fight is gonna end in a brutal knockout for Canelo.
The two men have fought twice, and let's face it, nothing's really been resolved. The first fight was an extremely controversial draw, and the second fight was an even more controversial win for Canelo.
GGG wants the 3rd act really badly ... but when we ran into Oscar recently he told us to tell Golovkin not to hold his breath.
"We'll make him wait. We'll see. He's the B fighter now. Canelo's the A fighter."
We, of course, asked what Oscar thought would happen in the next fight, whenever it does happen, and he couldn't have been clearer.
"I think Canelo will knock him out."
Maybe he would ... but will it matter if both men are in retirement homes by the time it happens?
We also talked to GGG -- who's fighting Steve Rolls Saturday night on DAZN -- and no surprise, he ain't into waiting for the trilogy fight.
OSCAR, MAKE THE FIGHT!!!

Anthony Joshua No Memory From 3 Rd. Of Ruiz Fight Says Promoter Eddie Hearn
-
EXCLUSIVE
- 3.4K shares
Anthony Joshua has zero recollection of the disastrous 3rd rd. of his Andy Ruiz fight ... where he was pummeled and knocked down twice -- this according to his promoter Eddie Hearn.
Joshua was a massive favorite in the fight against Ruiz ... but was stopped in the 7th round in one of the most shocking upsets in boxing history.
Hearn sat down on DAZN and opened up about the fight and revealed Joshua legit doesn't recall the beatdown he took in the 3rd round.
"He doesn't remember anything really from the 3rd round. In fact, he's taken a little positivity that he managed to go 4 rounds after that because he says, 'ya know, my senses weren't there."
Eddie also laid any speculation to rest that the 7th round stoppage was bad ... saying he not only agreed with it, but was relieved by the ref's decision.
"100% right stoppage. If you actually watch it back, we were watching it last night, and Anthony says 'yes,' and goes to walk forward, and the ref just nudges him and he goes back on the ropes, and then the ref stops it, and I'm actually glad he did cause Anthony would've kept going all night."
AJ's loss threw heavyweight division into a tailspin ... and Hearn has activated the mandatory rematch clause -- although no date has been set.
The way things went down ... maybe it's best AJ doesn't remember.

Mickey Mantle 1957 Yankees Contract Hits Auction Block ... He Only Made $60K!!!
-
Breaking News
The New York Yankees contract that paid Mickey Mantle a shockingly low amount of money back in 1957 can be all yours ... if you've got a big pile of cash to buy it!!!
TMZ Sports has learned the deal that Mantle himself signed back in '57 is hitting the SCP Auctions block -- and is expected to fetch over $40,000.
It's interesting ... because Mantle -- who had just hit for the Triple Crown in 1956 with 52 home runs, 130 RBI and a .353 batting average (it was one of the greatest offensive seasons ever) -- was only scheduled to make $60k.
If that seems staggeringly low ... it's 'cause it is -- for a similar season in 2014, Giancarlo Stanton inked a 13-year, $325 MILLION deal ($25 mil a year)!!!
Of course, the Yanks got much more than they bargained for after Mantle signed on the dotted line ... he went on to win the MVP for a second consecutive season in 1957.
As for the contract itself, it's an awesome piece of history ... it's got The Mick's signature AND Hall of Famer Lee MacPhail's on it as well.
Bidding closes in two weeks ... good luck!!!

Joey Chestnut's celebration of National Doughnut Day is a bitter pastry to swallow, because like Anthony Joshua's upset loss to Andy Ruiz Jr. -- Joey's gone down like a bag of ... y'know.
The famous wiener-eating champ strolled into Friday's second annual World Hostess Donettes-Eating Championship in Austin as the reigning champ but walked away settling for second place.
The winner -- Geoffrey Esper from Oxford, MA -- did him 35 better for this year's belt.
Chestnut entered the competition ranked No. 1 in the world, but fell short in the 6-minute competition. In case you were wondering, the guys gorged themselves on powdered doughnuts.
BTW ... in total, the entire competition feasted on an astonishing 1,160 doughnuts. The good news for Joey is he still holds the record -- he inhaled 257 doughnuts during last year's test!!
Time to get your gut ready for Fourth of July, Joey.
