'Jeopardy!' Monday Episode Airs After Web Leak ... Holzhauer Mocks Himself
Okay, we're gonna tell ya right off the bat "Jeopardy!" fans ... SPOILER ALERT!!!!
If you've been watching James Holzhauer's ridiculous, record-setting hot streak on "Jeopardy!" ... ya probably heard about the footage of Monday's episode that leaked on the Internet ... and now we can tell you for sure if it was real.
It was. That revelation came to light when Monday's episode started airing in certain cities across the country. Viewers witnessed James' reign get stripped away from him when he lost in Final Jeopardy to a woman named Emma ... who basically bet the farm to beat JH and the other contestant.
That's gotta sting for James, seeing how he got it right, but simply didn't have confidence enough to wager enough. He ended up with $24,799 to Emma's $46,801. He noted in an interview afterward that even if he doubled down, it wouldn't have been enough if Emma also answered correctly and wagered slightly more than him.
Unfortunately for him, she did exactly that. James doesn't seem to busted up about it ... on Monday, he referenced the Drake curse -- usually reserved for sports competitions.
Knew I shouldn’t have invited @Drake to the @Jeopardy taping.
@James_Holzhauer
Prior to Monday's loss, James was on a roll ... having won 32 games in a row and racking up almost as much as the 2004 "Jeopardy!" champ, Ken Jennings -- just over $2.5 million. James fell short of that by $58,484 ... and with that, Ken continues to hold the record for prize money.
That doesn't mean James doesn't hold a few records of his own on the show though. He won the most money in one game, and for 11 times during his streak ... he went an entire game without buzzing incorrectly. Not too shabby for second place all-time.
Question ... what is a bitter-sweet bummer? The floor is yours, James.

Don't worry, Lakers fans -- things may be a dumpster fire right now, but you still have Kobe Bryant ... 'cause Lance Stephenson tells TMZ Sports the Black Mamba is mentoring the team!!
There's been a lot of drama around the Lake Show lately ... from failed coaching searches, Magic Johnson quitting and bombshell reports of dysfunction in the front office.
Despite all the noise, Stephenson says he's confident the Lakers are legit contenders next season ... and it might have to do with the 5-time champ hangin' around.
We asked if Bryant has taken on a mentoring role with the team during retirement ... and Stephenson said "definitely, he always comes to practice."
There have been reports that Kobe is also trying to lure Kyrie Irving to sign with the Purple & Gold this offseason ... so even in retirement, the dude's putting in work.
Rest assured, Laker Nation ... you're still in good hands.
BONUS -- we also asked Lance about teaming back up with Frank Vogel ... and he's got nothing but love for his old coach.

Buster Douglas Ruiz Over Joshua Bigger Than Mike Tyson??
-
EXCLUSIVE
Buster Douglas -- the man who SHOCKED the world and beat Mike Tyson -- tells TMZ Sports ... Andy Ruiz's TKO of Anthony Joshua is one of the biggest upsets in boxing history.
Bigger than his 1990 upset of undefeated heavyweight champ "Iron" Mike?? Buster -- a 42-1 underdog when he KO'd Tyson in the 10th round -- wouldn't pick which was bigger ... but was clear, this fight was historic.
"I think it was a great fight, man. It was a big upset. An upset is an upset. Ruiz came to fight, Andy came to get it and he got it."
"Despite all the obstacles that were laying there in front of him that were against him, that he had no chance of winning, and he went out there and did the impossible."
Let that sink in ... Buster Douglas -- the guy responsible for arguably the most shocking upset in sports history -- says Ruiz did the impossible when he stopped Joshua in the 7th round.
Douglas says he actually sees a lot of similarities between him and Ruiz.
"The man believed in what he was doing. He believed in himself despite all the naysayers," Douglas tells us ... "It's a lot of similarities there. I'm just happy for him, and wish him all the best."
Leading up to the fight, Ruiz was a heavy underdog against the unbeaten Joshua ... and seemingly nobody believed he had a chance in hell to win the fight -- a feeling Douglas vividly remembers.
"It definitely takes me back. It's like I kinda relate to what they're going through, the emotion that they're feeling going into the fight. 'I'mma show them tonight!'"
Buster says he was so PUMPED when Ruiz won ... "I felt like running!"
"That's awesome, man. It was great to see that. Takes you right back to that moment that you had yourself."

Hank Haney Doubles Down On Offensive LPGA Comments ... 'I Knew A Lee Would Win'

Legendary golf coach Hank Haney is doubling down on offensive comments he made about the LPGA Tour ... writing Sunday after the U.S. Women's Open, "I knew a Lee would win."
Haney -- Tiger Woods' former swing coach -- was suspended from his radio gig at SiriusXM after he made insensitive comments about the number of Korean players competing in the LPGA.
"I couldn't name you like 6 players on the LPGA Tour," Haney said last Wednesday ... "Nah, maybe I could -- well, I'd go with Lee. If I didn't have to name a first name, I'd get a bunch of them right."
Haney added, "Honestly, Michelle Wie is hurt. I don't know that many. Where are they playing, by the way?"
The comments were immediately hit with backlash -- everyone from Michelle Wie to Tiger Woods himself blasted the guy -- and Haney was hit with an indefinite ban from his radio show as well.
But -- despite issuing MULTIPLE apologies in the ensuing days -- Haney appeared to DOUBLE DOWN on his comments on Twitter after Jeongeun Lee won the Open, writing in a now-deleted tweet, "I knew a Lee would win."
Haney added, "My prediction that a Korean woman would be atop the leaderboard at the Women’s U.S. Open was based on statistics and facts.”
"Korean women are absolutely dominating the LPGA Tour. If you asked me again my answer would be the same but worded more carefully."

A pro bicycle rider slapped the living hell out of a fan during a big race this weekend ... hitting the guy multiple times -- and then knocking the hat right off his head!!!
It all went down during the Giro d'Italia race in Italy on Saturday ... when a spectator who was running alongside riders tripped up and accidentally knocked into Miguel Ángel López's bike.
The Colombian cyclist was thrown from his ride ... and in response -- he went OFF on the fan!!!
Who says cyclists 🚴🏽♂️ aren't still on roids? 💉 Props to Miguel Angel Lopez for laying down some bike race justice on this idiot fan who got onto the course at the #GiroDeItalia2019 pic.twitter.com/HF2vMMJHtl
@betmybookie
Lopez slapped the guy in the head a few times ... and then knocked his cap straight off his dome.
Lopez apologized for the incident after the stage, but also blamed the fan, saying, "I'm sorry for what happened. I was full of pure adrenaline. But there needs to be more respect for the cyclists."
As for the race, Lopez clearly wasn't fazed by the altercation ... he finished 7th overall.

The Game I'm Still Banned In Canada ... Can't Attend NBA Finals In Toronto
-
EXCLUSIVE

The Game is a huge NBA fan -- but he had to watch Game 2 of the NBA Finals from a bar in Los Angeles because he tells TMZ Sports he's still banned from entering Canada!!!
The rapper was breaking down the Warriors win over the Raptors -- which took place at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto -- when he told us about his issue.
"I can't even get into Canada," The Game said ... "I can't even go to the game!"
When asked why," Game smiled and said, "Because I'm a gangster."
He is sorta ... back in 2011, The Game was detained at the Canadian border and ultimately deported because of his affiliation with the Bloods.
According to Game, that ban still stands -- which sucks for the rapper who says he LOVES our neighbors to the north and would have loved to have been in the arena with the likes of two of his favorite people ... Drake and Barack Obama.
Don't feel too bad for Game, he's still living like a BOSS in L.A. -- where he got the VIP treatment at the Peppermint Club to watch the game.
Oh, and despite being a big Kawhi Leonard fan (he's also from L.A.), Game has a reality check for the Raptors -- saying there's just no way Toronto's bringing the Larry O'Brien back over the border.

KD and Klay Thompson Clown Drake After Finals Win ... 'Bum Ass!!'

"See you in the Bay, Aubrey ... You weren't talkin' tonight, were ya!?"
Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson gave Drake an earful after the Warriors tied up the series in the NBA Finals on Sunday ... returning the epic trash talk the rap superstar delivered after Game 1.
The exchange was captured right as the Dubs were heading into the locker room after the game ... when someone called for them to come back because Drizzy was about to walk by.
That's when KD and Klay went IN on the 6 God ... calling him a "bum ass" and saying the win over the Raptors was "light work."
"It's alright, it's okay, we still got more games to play," KD added.
Drake -- who got all up in Draymond Green's face after the Raps took Game 1 -- surprisingly handled the trash talk really well, hitting them back with "You squeezed that [win], by the way."
Game 3 is on Wednesday ... so Drake's got a few days to come up with a better comeback.

Multiple NBA Teams Moving Away ... From the Term 'Owners'
-
EXCLUSIVE
- 1.4K shares
Multiple NBA teams have had high-level conversations about doing away with the term "owner" over the past year -- and at least two teams have already made the switch, TMZ Sports has learned.
We're told the conversations essentially center around the idea that the term, owner -- in a league where the majority of the players are black -- feels racially insensitive.
Several high-ranking sources from multiple teams tell us people have been talking about the issue for a while but it gained steam in late 2018 when Draymond Green appeared on LeBron James' show, "The Shop," and argued against teams using the term.
"You shouldn't say owner," Green said ... noting the title should be changed to either CEO, Chairman or something like Majority Shareholder.
During the show, Jon Stewart agreed and explained, "When your product is purely the labor of people then owner sounds like something that is of a feudal nature."
Around the time that episode aired, the Philadelphia 76ers made the decision to change their titles from Owners to Managing Partners and 76ers Co-owners are now called Limited Partners.
In Los Angeles, Steve Ballmer -- who was billed as Owner for the first couple of years after he took over the Clippers -- is now listed as Chairman on the team's website. It appears that change occurred in early 2018.
Several teams are still using the term owner -- and we're told there's no real pressure coming from the NBA to change their titles.
What's interesting ... Draymond's team -- the Golden State Warriors -- still lists Joe Lacob as the owner of that team.
We reached out to the NBA ... and a spokesperson for the league provided us the following statement.
"We refer to the owners of our teams as Governors; each team is represented on our Board of Governors."

Neymar Reportedly Accused of Rape ... He Denies, Calls it Extortion

6/2 -- Neymar himself has responded to the rape allegation, posting a lengthy video on Instagram ... which he captioned in Portuguese ... "Because of extortion, I am being forced to expose my life and family." In the video, which is filmed in Portuguese, he says in part, "I'm being accused of rape. Yes, it is a heavy word, a very strong thing ... what happened was totally the opposite of what they are talking and saying," Neymar said. "I'm very upset at this moment."
He went on to show WhatsApp messages that he says were sent between himself and the woman in the days leading up to the alleged incident, which show multiple intimate photos being exchanged. It appears a few more messages were sent afterward as well.
6/1 4:41 PM PT -- Neymar's father and agent, Neymar dos Santos, has come out to call the rape allegation a "set-up." In a local television interview, Neymar's dad roughly said, "If public opinion is not cleared up, and if we can’t show the truth rapidly, this will snowball. If we have to show Neymar’s WhatsApp and the conversations with this girl, we will, because it is clear that it was a trap."
Brazilian soccer star Neymar has been accused of rape -- and the alleged victim has gone to authorities in Brazil to file a report ... according to multiple outlets.
AP says they've obtained a police report filed Friday in Sao Paulo, in which the unnamed woman claims to have been raped by Neymar on May 15 at a hotel in Paris. She alleges that after exchanging messages on Instagram, a representative for Neymar's soccer team -- Paris Saint-Germain F.C. -- bought her a plane ticket and booked her a room.
She reportedly went on to tell police that around 8 PM that night, Neymar came to the room seemingly drunk and had forceful sex with her.
Neymar's reps have not responded for comment at this point. He's currently in Brazil preparing the Copa America, which kicks off next week.

Dwyane Wade Makes Emotional Speech ... For Stoneman Douglas' Grad Class
Dwyane Wade surprised the students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School by showing up to their graduation ceremony and telling them how to prepare for the next chapter.
The former Miami Heat star made an appearance Sunday at MSD's commencement, where he delivered a heartfelt speech about the impact the school shooting left on him and how he grappled with relating to students soon after the 2018 massacre.

@drsafeerbhatti
D-Wade described the silence on campus about a month afterward, when he was invited as a guest to meet and talk with the grieving student body. To his surprise, he said that even his mere presence was able to lift spirits ... despite not being able to fully comprehend what they'd been through. The point ... a small act of kindness went a long way.
@DwyaneWade so proud to say the words #msdstrong pic.twitter.com/jNyyW3zAl3
@drsafeerbhatti
He went on to relate even further to the 2019 graduating class, telling them he too recently closed a big chapter in his own life -- Dwyane retired from the NBA this year -- but that he was still excited about the next steps, as they oughta be as well. He also imparted a team mantra he made up with his 2013 team.

Dwyane had the audience recite the mantra, which ended with a rousing "We fight!" call-back. He left the stage to huge applause ... clearly, he knocked it out of the park.
The impact of the shooting has continued to affect the community, at times in the worst ways possible. Two survivors of the tragedy have gone on to take their own lives.

Chip & Joanna Gaines, Ciara Complete Harvard Biz Course ... w/ Lots of Other Stars
What do Chip and Joanna Gaines have in common with Ciara and Kevin Love? Other than the fact that they're megastars ... they all also have a Harvard class under their belts.
The A-listers were among the most recognizable faces this past week at the 4-day Harvard business course known as BEMS -- where top-level talent from all walks of life, including Hollywood stars, come out and share their experiences with each other ... brainstorming paths to success.
Some of the other celebs to join the group -- NBA stars Julius Randle and Luc Mbah a Moute, German soccer star Oliver Kahn, NCIS actor Eric Olsen and more.
By the end of it ... it looks like "Fixer Upper" couple and the rest of the gang walked away with certificates to show they'd completed the course -- which has hosted the likes of Chris Bosh, Michael Strahan and a myriad of CEOS and execs from different companies in the past.
Don't tell these people it's too late to go back to school! They won't listen to a word of it.

Anthony Joshua 'Drake Curse' Strikes Again!!! Champ Loses by TKO to Andy Ruiz Jr.
Anthony Joshua's gotta be kicking himself Sunday morning after losing in one of the biggest upsets in boxing history -- and he's got no one to blame but himself ... and possibly Drake.
AJ lost his 3 heavyweight titles in Madison Square Garden Saturday night to Andy Ruiz Jr. -- who was an 11-1 underdog -- by TKO in the 7th round. It's being called the biggest upset since Mike Tyson lost to Buster Douglas in 1990 ... but we all should've seen it coming when Joshua cozied up to Drake.
Back in March, the then WBO, IBF and IBO heavyweight champ posted a pic with Drizzy, and even went so far as to say he was going to “break the curse” on June 1. Oops.
Daaamn, did Andy Ruiz really just expose Anthony Joshua at MADISON SQUARE GARDEN 💀😳
@ahmedJ_23
Love an underdog story 🙌 pic.twitter.com/QTK6u9Ugcm
Drake's got a pretty extensive track record of jinxing teams -- just ask Alabama football, Italy's Roma soccer team, Conor McGregor and Serena Williams.
He's even mocked the curse lately -- wearing Philadelphia 76ers shorts to jinx that team last month when they were playing his beloved Toronto Raptors ... and it worked.
Anyway, congrats to Andy Ruiz Jr. ... who'll probably fight a rematch against Joshua. We know who WON'T be walking either fighter into the ring.

Terrell Owens Donovan McNabb In The Hall of Fame??? ... 'Who?'
-
EXCLUSIVE

6/2/2019
Think Terrell Owens is ready to bury the hatchet with Donovan McNabb and endorse the QB's candidacy for the pro football Hall of Fame???
Think again ... 'cause when we got TO out at LAX this week and asked about D-Mac's claim that he's a for-sure HOFer -- Owens responded with just one word ...
"Who???"
Yeah ... SHAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDEEEEEEEE!!!
Of course, Owens and McNabb have hated each other since they were teammates with the Eagles ... with TO recently saying it all started when Donovan didn't throw him the ball during a game.
TO told Skip Bayless on FS1's "Undisputed" last year, "I go back to the huddle and I was like, ‘Dude, I was open.’ And you know what his response was to me? ‘Shut the F up.’"
"That was disrespectful."
Clearly, Owens can hold a grudge ... 'cause it's been some 14 years since they last played together in Philadelphia -- and dude is still throwin' shade at the QB!!!!!

Jussie Smollett 'Attacker' Levels Up with Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s Trainer
-
EXCLUSIVE
Unlike Jussie Smollett, at least one of his alleged "attackers" is seeing his career on the upswing ... Abel Osundairo is now training with one of Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s trainers.
We're told Abel met Nate "The Snake" Jones through a well-connected boxing family in Chicago and they recently met up at Taylor Park Gym in Chi-Town to get in the ring and train. Nate's name carries weight in the boxing world ... the former pro heavyweight joined Mayweather Promotions as a trainer a little over a year after retiring and has trained Floyd in about a dozen fights ... including vs. Manny Pacquiao.
As we've reported ... Abel showed promise after mowing down opponents at the Golden Gloves tournament ... scoring first-round TKOs, unanimous decisions and, most recently, a first-round TKO in the senior novice 178-pound division to win the prestigious tourney.
Abel's still a raw talent -- he competed in a division for less experienced boxers between 21 and 35 who weigh 178 pounds or less -- but there's potential ... and further proof that if the Osundairo brothers really wanted to hurt Jussie in the "attack" ... it would've been vicious.
As you know ... Abel's lawyer says Jussie told them he wanted Abel to "attack" him, but not rough him up too badly. Since the "attack" ... Abel and his bro have struggled to land acting gigs but Abel's fortunes might have turned with Nate -- a former U.S. Olympic Boxing medalist -- now in his corner.
We're told Abel's training sesh wasn't a one-off, 'cause they plan to continue training. It's unclear if Nate thinks Abel's got what it takes to turn pro ... but training with a decorated trainer like Nate is a strong sign Abel's serious about boxing.

LAPD to Dodgers Stop Flashing Your Money ... On Social Media!!!
-
EXCLUSIVE
The elite commercial crimes division of LAPD met with the L.A. Dodgers recently to give advice on how to avoid being hit by scumbag burglars ... and the message was simple, STOP FLEXING ONLINE!!!
It's not exactly rocket science ... cops say criminals are targeting high profile people who are showing off their valuables on social media -- and with athletes, it ain't hard for the bad guys to find out when they're on the road.
We've already reported on burglary crews who have targeted homes belonging to Dodgers, Rams, Lakers and other major stars living in L.A.
Of course, the LAPD advised the players to beef up their private security and make sure their homes are being monitored during road trips and vacations.
But, the bigger message was clear ... stop baiting the criminals by showing off what's inside your homes!!!
Another law enforcement source tells us the message to all athletes and celebs is ... be less like Floyd Mayweather (who flaunts his toys whenever he can) and more like LeBron James (who protects his property with a full security team).
