At the time, he was booked into the county jail ... but released on $15k bond.
Now prosecutors are moving forward with the case ... indicting the former middleweight champ on felony aggravated assault, felony terroristic threats and misdemeanor domestic battery.
The indictment triggered an arrest warrant ... so cops went and picked up Taylor.
JT's currently in the Pulaski County jail.
FYI -- this ain't the first time Taylor's been in trouble with the law ... he's previously been arrested for allegedly shooting his own cousin, allegedly making terroristic threats and firing a handgun at an MLK Jr. parade, and allegedly brutally beating a fellow patient at a rehab facility.

Derrick Rose Hits L.A. Club After Dropping 31 On Lakers
Derrick Rose was feelin' himself Wednesday night -- 'cause after he dropped 31 on the Lakers at Staples Center, the NBA star grabbed his lady and hit one of the hottest clubs in town.
The 30-year-old Minnesota Timberwolves star -- along with Alaina Anderson -- strolled into Warwick on Sunset Blvd. like they were ready to celebrate.
The only problem ... the Timberwolves lost 114-110 and Rose missed a potential game-winning shot in the final minute of the 4th quarter.
So, why so happy?
Because for the most part, THE OLD D-ROSE IS BACK!!
Remember, dude put up a 50 burger on Halloween -- showing real flashes of his MVP season back in 2010-11.
The fact he had another big game against LeBron's Lakers -- including going 7 for 9 in 3-point range -- is a pretty big deal. He also had 5 assists.
So, hey -- CELEBRATE! Just win next time.

Conor McGregor Bathroom Self-Affirmation ... 'You The Man!'
Conor McGregor felt Conor McGregor needed a little confidence boost Thursday morning -- so, he looked in the mirror and told himself how great he is.
Over and over and over.
With his Versace robe hanging on his bathroom door, Conor pointed at himself and repeated, "You the man. You the man. YOU are the man!"
He then cackled like a maniac.
So, why? He's Conor McGregor, that's why.
Seems to be getting over his loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov -- you remember, Conor was smashed up at UFC 229 in Vegas on October 6.
It was Conor's first MMA fight in nearly 2 years -- and he didn't exactly look like the world-beater we got used to seeing against guys like Jose Aldo and Eddie Alvarez.
Conor has said he wants a rematch with Khabib -- but has told Dana White he's willing to fight whoever it takes to get it.
In the meantime, at least he's got his mirror.

50 Cent Clowns Mayweather Over Japan Fight Debacle
It was just a matter of time but 50 Cent is now mocking Floyd Mayweather for pulling out of the New Year's Eve fight with Tenshin Nasukawa he had just announced on Sunday.
"Ok cool they tricked him," 50 said ... "Was trying to kick him in the head and sh*t. He fell for it because its time to get some money."
Remember, Floyd pulled out on Wednesday, saying he never agreed to an official bout -- just a 3 round exhibition -- and only participated in the press conference because he didn't want to "create a disturbance."
But, 50 implied that Floyd only took the fight because he ain't as wealthy as he leads on -- saying, "The money low."
50 then mocked Floyd for the way the head of "The Money Team" handled this deal from the beginning.
"The biggest fighter in the world don't announce a fight with out a contract. He did a press conference ... now he saying there was no deal. LOL."
50 has since deleted the IG post ... but he's just saying what everyone else is thinking -- how does the most powerful athlete on the planet get duped in such a massive and embarrassing way??
50 Cent speaks on Floyd Mayweather pic.twitter.com/r0g0PkLW8E
@balleralert
The whole thing is weird.
50 had ripped Floyd earlier in the week too -- saying Floyd's opponent is more of an "Uber driver" than a real contender.

Marcin Gortat NBA Teams Ain't Taking LaMelo Seriously
LaMelo Ball's jump back to high school won't make any difference on his NBA future ... 'cause teams still won't take him seriously -- so says Marcin Gortat.
The youngest Ball brother announced Tuesday he's headed to Sire Prep Academy after stints overseas and in the JBA ... clearly with hopes that it will help his NBA draft stock.
But, when we got Gortat out at Via Alloro ... we asked the Clippers center if he thinks it'll work out for Melo ... and Marcin said, "I don't think so."
Interesting ... considering Melo's new coach and ex-NBAer Jermaine Jackson told TMZ Sports he thinks after this high school run, Ball can be the No. 1 pick in the 2020 draft.

Floyd Mayweather Backs Out of Japan Fight ... 'Never Agreed to Official Bout'

Breaking News
12:24 PM PT -- Floyd had already made up his mind to back out of the fight by Tuesday night -- because he was telling people at an L.A. nightclub that it was off.
In fact, Floyd's friend Michael Blackson -- the famous comedian -- came on "TMZ Live" on Wednesday and told us when he saw Floyd at Murano Nightclub, the boxer made it clear it wasn't happening.
Floyd Mayweather is making it clear his massive New Year's Eve fight with Tenshin Nasukawa is off -- and claims it's because he was misled by fight promoters.
It's strange considering the press conference Floyd participated in on Sunday night -- promoting the fight at RIZIN 14 in Japan -- but alas, here we are.
In short, Floyd claims he only ever agreed to fight Tenshin in a private, closed door, 3-round exhibition fight "for a small group of wealthy spectators for a very large fee."
But, when he got to the press conference (weird that he would even agree to do a press conference for a small private event) the RIZIN promoters told the media it would be a globally televised superfight.
Floyd says he went along with the press conference because he was blindsided and didn't want to "create a disturbance."
During the press conference, Floyd was PRAISING the fight promoters and said the goal was to create a longterm relationship with RIZIN to promote more fights together in the future.
Whatever the case, seems the fight's off for good. Here's Floyd's statement in its entirety.
"Now that I am back on U.S. soil after a long and disappointing trip to Tokyo, I now have the time to address you, my fans and the media in regards to the upcoming event on December 31st that was recently announced."
"First and foremost, I want it to be clear that I, Floyd Mayweather, never agreed to an official bout with Tenshin Nasukawa. In fact (with all due respect) I have never heard of him until this recent trip to Japan. Ultimately, I was asked to participate in a 9 minute exhibition of 3 rounds with an opponent selected by the 'Rizen Fighting Federation.'"
"What I was originally informed of by Brent Johnson of 'One Entertainment' was that this was to be an exhibition put on for a small group of wealthy spectators for a very large fee. This exhibition was previously arranged as a "Special Bout" purely for entertainment purposes with no intentions of being represented as an official fight card nor televised worldwide."
"Once I arrived to the press conference, my team and I were completely derailed by the new direction this event was going and we should have put a stop to it immediately."
"I want to sincerely apologize to my fans for the very misleading information that was announced during this press conference and I can assure you that I too was completely blindsided by the arrangements that were being made without my consent nor approval."
"For the sake of the several fans and attendees that flew in from all parts of the world to attend this past press conference, I was hesitant to create a huge disturbance by combating what was being said and for that I am truly sorry."
"I am a retired boxer that earns an unprecedented amount of money, globally, for appearances, speaking engagements and occasional small exhibitions."

Farrah Abraham Celeb Boxing Promoter: Shut Your Mouth or Else!!!
Farrah Abraham is on the verge of having a real fight on her hands -- a legal one, anyway -- if she keeps talking smack.
A lawyer repping celeb boxing promoter Damon Feldman has fired off a cease and desist letter to Farrah threatening to sue her ass if she continues trash talking him and the event ... slated to go down Saturday in Atlantic City.
The lawyer, John A. Gallagher of the Gallagher Law Group, calls Farrah's bashing defamatory. In the letter, obtained by TMZ, Gallagher says Feldman kept his end of the deal ... which included paying Farrah's fees up front, providing training and equipment.
What's more ... the law firm says it was Farrah who bullied promoters with unreasonable and unnecessary demands. Promoters gave in ... with a suite of rooms for her posse, but did so as a courtesy to maintain the relationship. It was NEVER part of the deal.
Farrah's manager, David Weintraub, tells us, "This letter is utterly hilarious coming from these "janky promoters" pretending to be a boxing organization. We wish them lots of luck trying to enforce our rights and ability to speak freely about the absurd way they handled their amateur business over the course of this deal."
He continues, "Bottom line, they have no money, they have no pay-per-view deal, they aren't selling tickets and couldn't even afford proper travel, accommodations or security for my clients, hence that's why they are in breach and she isn't fighting. Enjoy your flop fight Saturday."
As you know ... Farrah said she pulled the plug on fighting Nicole "Hoopz" Alexander claiming she was bullied by event organizers.

"I'm gonna be so much better," Paige told us while out in Portugal ... "'I've been able to focus on so many other things while the arm was healing."
Paige says she's been champing at the bit to get the fight deal done -- explaining how UFC has been trying to make it happen for a while.
The problem ... Paige's first surgery on the arm failed -- despite doctors using a titanium plate to try and stabilize the bone -- so she needed to go under the knife for the second time.

Paige and Rachael will face off Jan. 19 in Brooklyn -- Paige says she expects it to be a helluva fight.

Ex-Ohio State football coach Jim Tressel says he's THRILLED his former player Anthony Gonzalez was elected to Congress Tuesday night ... saying he'd been planning for a political career ever since he was in the NFL.
The 34-year-old wide receiver -- who was selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the 1st round of the 2007 NFL Draft -- was running for Congress in Ohio's 16th District (as a Republican) and WON!
Tressel -- who also worked as a consultant with the Colts while AG was on the team -- says he's convinced Gonzalez will be spectacular in his new role.
"I think anyone that becomes a 1st round draft choice in the NFL doesn’t just do it on talent and anyone that becomes a U.S. congressman doesn’t do it just by showing up," Tressel said.
"The hard work he put into preparing himself for both things, the hard work he has most recently put in on the campaign trail ... he’s there for the people and he’ll be tireless."
He added, "It’s just an exciting time for our country to have a young guy like that who's got the best interests of the people in mind to be going to serve in tough times."
"It’s not easy to serve in Congress. There’s nothing easy about it. They got a guy going there for all the right reasons."
As for Anthony's football career, he was pretty good until knee injuries forced him to retire in 2012.
