Ohio State Buckeyes star Cardale Jones currently makes ZERO dollars as a college athlete ... but this baller on a college budget has a nice little jewelry collection.

Jones posted a "sneak preview" of what he's planning to rock to the ESPYs tonight -- a collection composed of a Gucci watch, Louis Vuitton shades, gold chains, another gold Invicta watch, diamond earrings and a gold belt buckle.

Oh, and his National Championship ring.

For some reason, Jones pulled the video off his Instagram after some of his followers began to question how he could afford such fancy stuff on his NCAA income.

But here's the deal ... at the end of the day ... it might not even be his stuff. Or it could be fake.

Or maybe he's done really well in the stock market.

Finally, some GOOD NEWS for Warren Sapp -- his days of being bankrupt are OVER ... according to new docs obtained by TMZ Sports.

We broke the story ... the NFL Hall of Famer filed for Chapter 7 back in 2012 ... claiming he owed more than $6 MILLION in debts to various creditors.

In actuality, he owed more than $10.7 MILLION ... and he was forced to sell off a bunch of his personal property to pay back the cash he owed -- including various championship rings, his massive Nike collection, TVs, computers, furs and sports memorabilia.

According to court docs, Sapp ended up paying off roughly $2.9 million ... and most of the remaining $7.8 million was discharged ... which essentially means he has a clean financial slate.

Now, with his money problems seemingly over -- all Sapp has to worry about is that whole domestic violence thing ... and the hooker thing.

Ask and you shall receive ... that's the lesson Nick Young just learned -- because R. Kelly says the NBA star formally requested that he sing at his wedding ... and R's definitely DOWN FOR IT!

Kelly tells TMZ Sports ... today he finally met with Swaggy P -- who said he was serious about wanting R. to perform his song" Marry the P**sy" when he ties the knot with Iggy Azalea.

Kelly says he had heard rumblings about Young's request, but didn't know if he was serious -- but "now that I know it's real, we got to sit down and discuss the logistics."

BONUS -- We also talked to Kelly about basketball ... and he told us he used to play a regular game with Michael Jordan!!

What's more impressive, Kelly says he used to "hold his own" against MJ on the court.

There's ALWAYS seat politics at award shows -- and the ESPYs are not different ... with Britney Spears sitting SECOND ROW ... in front of a ton of ACTUAL ATHLETES!!

L.A. Kings star Slava Voynov has turned himself in to authorities and has officially begun his 90 day jail sentence from his domestic violence case .. TMZ Sports has learned.

As we previously reported, Voynov pled no contest to misdemeanor corporal injury to a spouse -- stemming from an altercation with his wife at their Redondo Beach home back in October.

It's a pretty good deal for Slava ... who was facing 9 years in prison if convicted of the original felony charge -- plus, he could have been deported back to Russia.

NBA star Ty Lawson could be getting a fancy new bracelet this week -- the same bracelet Lindsay Lohan was forced to wear -- one that monitors his alcohol consumption.

TMZ Sports has learned ... prosecutors in Colorado are furious that Lawson was arrested in L.A. this week -- violating the terms of his bond from a DUI in Denver back in January.

Now, prosecutors have filed new docs asking a judge to force Lawson to wear a SCRAM bracelet -- a monitoring device that can detect if the wearer has ANY traces of alcohol in his/her system.

FYI -- Lohan had to rock the SCRAM back in 2010 -- stemming from her DUI -- and wore it to all sorts of high-profile events, almost turning it into a fashion accessory.

If the CO judge signs off on the request during Friday's hearing -- Lawson could be wearing the bracelet by the end of the week.

Did you know ... J.J. Watt was on an MTV reality-ish show before he became an NFL superstar????

His former college teammates did ... including SF 49ers cornerback Marcus Cromartie who tells TMZ Sports the entire Wisconsin Badgers squad gave him crap for it back in 2009.

First off, Cromartie has nothing but GREAT things to say about Watt -- but when we asked if he thought Watt could hack it in Hollywood, that's when Marcus brought up his MTV past.

Turns out, Watt had a guest role on a docuseries called, "College Life" -- which followed real life college students at UW (it only lasted one season).

J.J. -- sporting an incredible sideways beanie/cap at the time -- was the "crush" of one of the stars ... who raved about Watt being a really nice guy.

Our photog caught up with the 14-year-old Tuesday in Bev Hills. She's in town promoting her new reality show “I Am Jazz,” but the highlight of the trip ... she scored a ticket to the show, where Caitlyn will receive the Arthur Ashe Courage Award.

Jennings was born a male but started her transition at age 3. Kid drops some serious knowledge on transgender equality.

Another HUGE victory for Chad Johnson's 10-year-old track phenom daughter -- who just SMOKED EVERYBODY at the 800m race at the AAU National Championships ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Cha'iel Johnson -- aka Moca -- took home the gold against some of the finest 10-year-old runners in the country ... beating out the 2nd place finisher by more than 6 SECONDS!!!

By the way, her competitors are no joke ... these girls are some of the best young runners in the country.

Not only did Dallas Cowboys star Orlando Scandrick request a restraining order against his ex-fiancee Draya Michele -- he got it ... after claiming she terrorized him and even blasted him with pepper spray.

The 21-year-old son of Buffalo Bills line coach Aaron Kromer has been charged with battery for his alleged role in a beach attack of 3 underage boys ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Officials in Walton County, Florida tell us ... Zach Kromer was hit with charges this afternoon. Zach is accused of confronting the boys with his father in a heated altercation over beach chairs.

FYI -- Zach is 6'2" and 170 lbs ... according to the police report.

Aaron allegedly punched one of the boys in the face. Officials clearly believe Zach also got physical during the incident.

A rep for the Walton County Sheriff's Office says the State Attorney is also considering charging Aaron with child abuse.
