Orlando Scandrick is backing way off his previous statements about ex-fiancee Draya Michele ... telling TMZ Sports although the wedding is off, he still loves the 'Basketball Wives' star.

The war over DeAndre Jordan may be FAR from be over -- because the Dallas Mavericks may have a solid legal case against the Clippers for stealing DeAndre out from under them ... well placed sources tell TMZ Sports.

We're told ... Steve Ballmer may have crossed the line by getting Jordan into a room with other Clippers players AFTER Jordan made a handshake deal with Mark Cuban and the Mavericks.

Mark Cuban is PISSSSSED at an ESPN reporter -- ripping the guy for posting a story that Cuban described as, "The dumbest sh*t I've ever heard."

The man in the crosshairs is Chris Broussard -- who mainly covers the NBA for ESPN.

During the DeAndre Jordan madness last night, Broussard tweeted -- "Sources: Cuban beside himself. Driving around downtown HOUSTON begging (thru texts) Jordan's family 4 address to DeAndre's home."

Cuban saw the post this morning and clearly took exception ... firing back with the following statement:

"@Chris_Broussard that's is the dumbest sh*t Ive ever heard. If you had any ethics u would msg me and I will give u his address."

Boom.

Ex-NFL Running back Thomas Jones is BLASTING Giants stud Jason Pierre-Paul ... saying JPP is a total BUFFOON for mangling his hand in a fireworks accident on the 4th of July.

Jones -- who spent 12 seasons in the league -- was commenting on the recent report that JPP had a finger amputated due to the severity of the fireworks injury ... and wrote bluntly:

"NOW THIS IS A MORON!!"

"These guys running around looking like Raptors with 3 and 4 fingers and s**t tryna light firecrackers at home. What the hell is goin on!!!"

He wasn't done ... Jones continued with another brutally honest message:

"Attention All NFL Players: LEAVE THE F*****G FIREWORKS ALONE!! YOU BUFOONS!!!!"

Mark Cuban is finally opening up about what happened between him and DeAndre Jordan last night -- claiming the NBA star didn't pick up his call ONCE ... and says he hasn't heard from him since Tuesday night.

When a couple WORKS OUT together -- you know it's serious.

Which is why it was interesting that NBA star James Harden took Khloe Kardashian to a spin class in Hollywood last night ... proving their weekend in Vegas was no fling.

The two hit up Cycle House -- where Harden has hit the bike in the past ... and also happens to be a place featured on an E! reality show called, "Hollywood Cycle."

And with "Keeping up with the Kardashians" also on E! -- seems like the perfect date night, combined with the perfect amount of promotion ... just how the Kardashians like it.

Adrien Broner has contracted a lawsuit ... by a woman who claims she NEVER gave him crabs -- the pubic kind, not the delicious kind -- despite allegations the boxer made on a very viral video.

NY Giants superstar Jason Pierre-Paul had a finger amputated moments ago ... following injuries suffered during a 4th of July fireworks accident.

Pierre-Paul has been hospitalized since injuring his hand in a fireworks show at a home in Florida ... and now ESPN's Adam Schefter says he's obtained medical records that show doctors removed his right index finger.

JPP's status has been shrouded in mystery ever since the incident -- and we're assuming JPP's wants it that way since there's a LOT of money on the line in terms of a new contract.

But with news that he's lost a finger -- it seems his NFL is still in jeopardy. Still, Schefter says his sources tell him Jason expects to play this season.

Donovan McNabb is stepping away from his NBC sports radio show -- at least temporarily -- to deal with "personal issues" in the wake of his DUI arrest ... TMZ Sports has learned.

McNabb hosts a show called "Under Center" with Mark Malone ... a daily sports talk show on the NBC Sports Radio Network.

But 2 weeks after Donovan's 2nd DUI arrest -- network officials tell us McNabb is taking a break.

"Donovan McNabb is taking immediate leave to address some personal issues, and we support him in this decision," the network tells us.

McNabb WAS on the show yesterday and addressed the arrest -- saying he was "handling the matter." Clearly, he's had a change of heart.

Seems Donovan McNabb tried the ol' boozy breath cover up trick before his DUI -- 'cause cops say he had TWO cough drops in his mouth when they arrived to the crash scene.

In the incident report, obtained by TMZ Sports, cops say McNabb had all of signs of a drunk person when they approached him after he smashed into another car in Arizona on June 28th -- plus one cop said, "I noticed a strong, fruity odor on his breath."

When the officer asked what the smell was, McNabb said he was fighting a cold and had taken Robitussin and was eating 2 cough drops.

Cops asked McNabb to spit out the drops -- he did -- and suddenly, the arresting officer says he could definitely detect a "strong odor of alcohol coming from his breath."

According to the report, McNabb admitted he had been at a local sports bar before the incident -- and was just trying to get home. At one point, he asked if he could just walk back to his house, but insisted he was "good to drive."

Cops didn't believe him and arrested McNabb for DUI -- and things got worse.

As McNabb was walking into the detention area at the police station, he tripped ... another sign he was drunk, cops say.

McNabb didn't take a breathalyzer -- but submitted blood. The results were not included in the report.

Draya Michele is firing back at her ex-fiance Orlando Scandrick -- claiming the Dallas Cowboys star is treating their relationship like a circus ... and she's the clown.

We broke the story ... Scandrick broke off their engagement yesterday -- saying it was a "poor decision" to propose to the "Basketball Wives L.A." star in the first place.

But now, Michele has finally responded ... saying, "It must be fun to watch someone throw stones at a person, so much fun others want to join in on the rock slinging."

She continued ... "I was just involved in a circus and didn't know I was the clown."

As for rumors that she bought her own engagement ring, Michele shot that down as well -- "I would NEVER buy my own ring or fake an engagement."

The hottest ticket in pro sports may now be WOMEN'S SOCCER -- with every team in the National Women's Soccer League reporting a BOOM in sales post-World Cup ... TMZ Sports has learned.

With stars like Carli Lloyd, Tobin Heath, Alex Morgan and others returning to their teams in the NWSL .... reps for just about every team tell us people are buying tickets like CRAZY!!

In fact, a rep for the Portland Thorns FC (home of Alex Morgan and Tobin Heath) tell us they've already sold 16,000 TICKETS for the next home game ... which isn't until July 22nd!

FYI -- Portland averages roughly 13,769 fans per game ... but the fact so many tickets have sold this far in advance is unprecedented.

There's more ... a rep for the Seattle Reign FC (home of Hope Solo) says they've also received a "tremendous surge" in ticket sales, app downloads and merchandise sales.

"We're expecting the game this Sunday to be close to a sell out ... and the next game as well.

In Houston (home of Carli Lloyd), ticket sales are in such high demand -- the team is opening up the upper deck to the stadium ... which is usually closed for NWSL games.

International soccer superstar Arturo Vidal -- who plays for Juventus and the Chilean national team -- struck a HUGE deal with prosecutors and won't go to jail for a drunken Ferrari crash.

28-year-old Vidal totaled his expensive Ferrari on the way from a casino in Chile last month -- and reportedly trashed a police officer who responded to the scene.

But he won't go to jail -- instead, officials say he agreed to write a huge check to the other driver in the accident (the amount of the check hasn't been disclosed) ... and his driver's license has been yanked for 2 years.

He also apologized to the cop he insulted -- and was ordered to give motivational speeches to inmates.

So, again ... how did Bear Grylls get those seats???

62-year-old Jeff Goldblum is finally a dad ... because his 32-year-old wife (a former Olympian) just gave birth to their first kid ... on Independence Day!!!

Goldblum and his wife Emilie Livingston announced the good news on social media -- introducing their new son, Charlie Ocean Goldblum.

FYI -- Emilie was a rhythmic gymnast for Team Canada in the 2000 Olympics in Sydney ... and placed 17th in the All Around competition. Since then, she's become a professional aerialist -- performing with huge stars like Justin Bieber, Jennifer Lopez and Trey Songz.

Livingston and Goldblum married in November 2014 ... and she announced the pregnancy the day before the two tied the knot.

Congrats!

Ariana Grande burned herself badly in that donut shop ... by bashing fat Americans, and now many people think that's why she's bailing on a huge concert event.

We broke the story -- employees at a southern Cali donut shop were pissed because they said Ariana and her new BF licked donuts when no one was looking ... which would've been nasty enough.

But what's pissed off even more people is what happened later in the vid -- an employee brought out a tray of oversized donuts, and Ariana blurted ... "What the f**k is that? I hate Americans. I hate America."

Boom! Fat shaming on a national scale.

To be fair ... she's not the first to say it, but curiously Ariana announced yesterday she was dropping out of Major League Baseball's All-Star concert this weekend. Her people say it's because she had wisdom teeth removed on Monday.

But we gotta ask ...
