Harris says POTUS congratulated the team and officially invited them to the White House -- but says afterward, the ladies thought Obama seemed a little smitten with the Queen of the Hat Trick.

Hey, can't blame the guy ... GO USA!

UFC's Brittney Palmer Husband Arrested for Attempted Murder He Nearly Suffocated Me

Published | Updated

UFC Octagon girl Brittney Palmer's husband allegedly tossed her around like a rag doll and choked her so brutally -- he's been rung up for attempted murder ... TMZ Sports has learned.

The massive fight went down at the couple's L.A. home on the evening of June 11 ... when Brittney and Aaron Zalewski got into an argument. He had previously overheard a casting agent call her "babe" over the phone, and allegedly went ballistic.

In docs obtained by TMZ Sports ... LAPD says things got physical when they wrestled for her phone -- Zalewski noticed she was recording the argument, and during the struggle he threw Palmer, and she hit her head on a bedpost.

Brittney told cops Zalewski yelled, "Pack your f**king bags and go!" -- but wouldn't let her leave. She says he threw her down again -- pinning her face down on a mattress, with his knee in her back. She says she struggled to breathe for 2 minutes while he held her down.

And there's this -- Brittney says during the fight Zalewski scratched his own arms and yelled ... "Why are you making me do this? I just wanted you to love me."

When Brittney finally escaped the house, she called police ... around 1:25 AM on June 12. Cops arrived and busted Zalewski for attempted murder, spousal battery, and criminal threats.

He was released on $1 million bail the next day. The case is now with the L.A. City Attorney ... who will decide whether to charge Zalewski.

Donovan McNabb Close Friends Worried About Him 'DUI Was No Surprise'

Published | Updated

Donovan McNabb's close friends are concerned that his drinking is out of control -- and tell TMZ Sports they've been urging him to change his lifestyle before it's too late.

We spoke with multiple people close to the ex-NFL quarterback who all said the same thing -- they weren't surprised by McNabb's 2nd DUI arrest ... because they all felt it was just a matter of time.

"The thing about Donovan is that he really don't give a sh*t," one friend tells us ... "but he really needs help."

His friends say they've tried to convince him to at least get a personal driver ... but he won't listen. Ditto for Uber.

"He refuses to take Uber for some reason. We have tried to convince him, but he refuses."

His friends say they care about him and want him to get better -- and hope the arrest can finally be the wake-up call he needs.

As we previously reported, McNabb's ex-teammate Terrell Owens raised the same concern -- telling us it's a "blessing" that the QB hasn't hurt anyone on the road yet.

"I GOT IN A SITUATION"

Michael Irvin says he completely understands Diddy's situation at UCLA -- 'cause the cops were called on HIM at his son's high school football game ... when #88 got a little too heated over a call.

The NFL Hall of Famer appeared on "TMZ Hollywood Sports" to talk about his football phenom son Michael Irvin II ... who just committed to play at his dad's alma mater -- the University of Miami.

And since Irvin is such an involved father, we asked if he was worried about getting a reputation as a "helicopter dad" ... a la Diddy.

That's when Irvin explained that he's got a lot more in common with Diddy than an athletic son -- telling us how things got so crazy at a recent game, the high school called the police on him.

In fact, Irvin says he was approached by a MASSIVE musclebound guy who tried to escort him out ... but didn't go as quietly as he had hoped.

"I said, 'Hey man, let me tell you something. Them muscles you got, I now they're not functional 'cause I would have seen you in the league somewhere.'"

He continued, "'If you don't get out of my face, I'm gonna hurt you so bad! That's for talking about my son!' So, I understand P. Diddy."

Donald Trump ESPN, NASCAR Made Me Richer ... Thanks!

Published | Updated

Donald Trump says he gives ZERO CRAPS about ESPN and NASCAR pulling events from his golf courses ... claiming he's only getting RICHER because of them anyway!

In fact, Trump just issued a charged statement -- blasting critics who described the moves as a "setback" for him ... saying:

"Really? What were the losses? One NASCAR banquet in a magnificent ballroom at Trump National Doral in Miami for which I will keep their very substantial deposit and rent the ballroom to someone else that night -- in other words, two fees instead of one (NASCAR has already apologized to me)!"

"In the case of ESPN, they cancelled a simple golf outing at my course, Trump National Golf Club Los Angeles, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, perhaps the most valuable parcel of land in all of golf."

"Likewise, they lost a large deposit. I will now let people use the course on that day, receiving substantial additional greens fee income. Again, I get two fees instead of one."

Trump says he's still determined to win the White House and "Make America Great Again" -- and sends this message to anyone who thinks the issues with ESPN and NASCAR will stop him:

"Give me a break!"

It's a pretty brilliant move by Adidas ... which got some major sneaker exposure while every single member of Team USA was rockin' championship shirts made by Nike.

Terrell Owens says he's genuinely worried about his ex-teammate Donovan McNabb -- saying he's lucky the QB didn't kill anyone in his recent DUI arrest and wants him to get help, ASAP.

TMZ Sports spoke with T.O. who says the June 28th arrest should serve as a "wake up call" for the former Philadelphia Eagles star.

"DUI is a very serious thing. The number of lives that have been lost from it are staggering. It's a blessing no one was hurt."

Owens continued, "We may not still be playing, but we still serve as role models. You have to be more responsible."

"Next time, call Uber."

Adrien Broner Sentenced In 'Rich & Famous' DUI Case

Published | Updated

You won't see boxing superstar Adrien Broner flossin' around in his expensive cars anytime soon -- because his driver's license was JUST suspended as part of his sentence in his DUI case.

TMZ Sports broke the story ... Broner was popped for drunk driving in Ohio back in January -- and during the arrest, bragged that he was rich, famous and made more than $100 MILLION in his boxing career.

Now, we've learned ... Broner struck a deal with prosecutors in which he pled no contest to 1 count of misdemeanor reckless driving -- and was sentenced to 6 months probation, his license has been suspended for 6 months and he has to complete a driver's safety course.

Broner was also sentenced to 30 days in jail ... but most likely won't do the time because that part of his sentence was "suspended" ... meaning it'll only be enforced if he screws up.

So, don't screw up.

Donovan McNabb Arrested for DUI In AZ ... Again

Published | Updated

Ex-NFL QB Donovan McNabb was popped for DUI in Arizona on June 28th ... the second time he's been arrested for DUI in 2 years.

The Gilbert Police Department says McNabb rear-ended a car that was stopped at a red light around 11:35 PM -- and when cops arrived to the scene, they determined Donovan was drunk.

The 38-year-old was subsequently arrested for DUI and transported to a nearby police station where he was booked, cited and eventually released.

As we previously reported, McNabb was arrested in December 2013 after cops say he was speeding in Maricopa County around 3 AM. He served 1 day in an AZ jail.

As for what McNabb is facing ... we spoke with John Kelly, a DUI attorney in Arizona, who tells us Donovan is realistically looking at 9 to 10 days in jail if convicted of a normal DUI (the punishment could get a lot worse if his blood alcohol level was "extreme").

Kelly says it's also common for people convicted of a 2nd DUI to have a ignition interlock system put in their car, which requires a breathalyzer test before the user can turn on the vehicle.

In addition, Kelly says McNabb will also face court fines in the $3,000 to $5,000 range.

Florida State Bar Fight Only Idiots Think Girl Should Be Charged ... Says State Attorney

Published | Updated

The woman in the Florida State bar fight did NOTHING wrong ... and if you think she did, you're an IDIOT ... so says State Attorney Willie Meggs.

As we previously reported, De'Andre Johnson is adamant he was NOT the aggressor in a bar fight that culminated with the FSU quarterback punching a woman in the face.

In fact, we're told Johnson's family believes the woman struck first and should be charged with a crime ... just like Johnson, who was charged with misdemeanor battery.

But Meggs -- the man in charge of the investigation -- disagrees ... telling us:

"Every village has an idiot. You gotta be the village idiot to think that girl has to be charged."

Meggs says ... "I know what he did. After he punched her in the nose, he ran away."

As for Johnson's claim that the woman hurled the N-word at him before things got violent, Meggs says he refuses to try the case in the media -- "This is why we have trials in courtrooms."

Sources connected to the Hall of Famer tell us he's doing OK -- no major injuries -- and it appeared the other person in the wreck was also fine.

Cops showed up ... but we're told there were no major issues, just your usual fender bender.

10:04 AM PT -- Kareem's rep tells us, "Kareem is fine and was not injured, but his car was severely damaged. The accident was caused by the other person -- not Kareem."
