The insanely hot bikini team at Medusa nightclub in Dallas was SUPPOSED to spell out Floyd Mayweather's name during his epic grand entrance this weekend.

Let's just say they fell short of a Vanya Shivashankar-like performance.

Don't worry ... they eventually figured it out ... and Mayweather went on to party his face off at the party thrown by Big D party promoters @themenofbusiness.

Plus, we're told Floyd -- in classic Mayweather form -- bought over 20 bottles of champagne for his TMT crew to sip on all night.

The buzz in the club was the Cowboys running back Joseph Randle was hanging out with Floyd in the VIP section ... along with Dallas Mavs player Bernard James ... and they all had a blast!

Aaron Hernandez is throwing the most desperate Hail Mary ever ... trying to challenge his murder conviction by claiming one of the jurors may have had it out for him BEFORE the trial started.

Aaron's legal team just filed new court docs in an apparent effort to find a flaw in the Odin Lloyd murder case -- in the hopes Hernandez could get his murder conviction overturned.

Hernadez's main argument -- his lawyer says he received a tip from an anonymous woman AFTER the verdict ... saying she recognized one of the jurors whose ID was revealed on TV.

Aaron's lawyer says the woman also claimed she could prove the juror was familiar with the Lloyd murder and was "hoping" to be on the Hernandez jury.

If true, AH's lawyer claims it would mean the juror would have LIED during voir dire when asked if he/she had knowledge about the case.

The problem -- the lawyer doesn't know the mystery woman's identity ... since she called him from a blocked number and refused to give her full name because she was afraid.

Now, the judge will rule on whether or not the court should look into the matter further.

Drake just kicked off summer with an INSANE celebrity-packed pool party at his L.A. mansion Sunday -- with HUGE stars like Kanye, The Game ... and even Amber Rose!!

But before you get any ideas ... no, we're told Kanye and Amber did NOT interact.

But they did have a blast -- partying on Drake's massive property with somewhere between 500 and 600 of Drake's closest friends.

Among the stars in attendance ... French Montana, Blac Chyna, Travis Scott, Draya Michele, NBAers Brandon Jennings and Nick Young.

As for food ... typical BBQ fare ... burgers, dogs, wings and mac and cheese. There was also a full bar and a separate bar just for doing shots.

Jameis Winston learned the hard way ... star power stops at the shorts -- especially when trying to get into a bar with a strict PANTS ONLY dress code.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB was rejected from the Blue Martini bar in Tampa when he tried to get in Friday night while wearing a pair of shorts ... in front of a sign that said, "Dress code strictly enforced."

We spoke with one of the managers ... who tells us, "It was nothing personal. He was not allowed inside because he did not meet the standards of the dress code."

Floyd Mayweather is being called out for being TOO FLASHY ... but the hilarious part -- the guy calling him out was driving a Rolls Royce at the time.

2-time welterweight champ Andre Berto was cruisin' around L.A. this weekend when we brought up Mayweather -- who's selling his ultra-rare Ferrari Enzo for $3.8 MILLION.

"He got too many of 'em anyway," Berto said ... noting that he doesn't need to resort to that "extra s**t" that Floyd does to get attention.

You can finally share DNA with Kevin Durant ... if the price is right ... because the NBA superstar's actual USED straw has hit the auction block ... for real.

In fact, the straw is the REAL piece of plastic KD sucked from during a SONIC fast food commercial the NBA star shot back in March, when he was promoting the Kevin Durant Signature Slush.

The straw also comes with a certificate of authenticity personally signed by KD that reads, "This is the actual straw from the Candy Slush that Kevin Durant (KD) had on the set of a SONIC commercial shot on March 26, 2015."

There's more ... Sonic is also auctioning off the ACTUAL candy from KD's slush ... which also come with a C.O.A.

Don't worry, it's not some cheap stunt to make a few extra bucks -- the auction benefits the Limeades for Learning program ... which raises money for educational programs across the country.

Tom Brady raided the family safe this morning ... busting out ALL FOUR of his Super Bowl rings to show off on social media -- while reminding everyone he's still married to a supermodel.

As for the new Super Bowl ring -- it was made by Josten's ... weighs 4.85 carats, has 205 diamonds and includes the team motto, "Do your job."

Scary moment for the Los Angeles Dodgers ... when the team plane made an emergency landing Sunday night because of a mechanical issue.

The team jet had departed from San Diego at 7:15 PM after beating the Padres 4-2, when their aircraft -- United Airlines Flight 2207 -- called in an emergency landing at LAX.

The flight landed safely at 8:16 PM -- with all 176 passengers and crew on board.

There's NO slowing down Adrian Peterson -- especially when it comes to reproduction -- 'cause his wife announced she's 5 months preggo ... which brings his count to EIGHT ... depending on who you believe.

Peterson's wife, Ashley, just broke the baby news to ESPN ... telling the network she's pregnant with Adrian's 6th child.

But back in 2013, Peterson's baby mama #2 Erica Syion told TMZ she knew there were 7 OTHER KIDS.

Of course, one of Peterson's children -- a son that he had never met -- was killed in 2013.

Peterson got married to Ashley in 2014. They already have one child together.

Lamar Odom's best friend, Jamie Sangouthai -- the man Khloe and others claimed fueled Lamar's disastrous crack binge 2 years ago -- has died, and we're told authorities believe it was a heroin OD.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, Jamie died Sunday in a hospital in downtown L.A. He was taken to the hospital after someone called 911.

Jamie was featured on Khloe and Lamar's reality show and they highlighted Jamie's problems on the program.

You may recall a crazy video of an obviously high Lamar and Jamie rapping about Khloe.

Khloe just tweeted, "When does it stop? RIP Jamie Sangouthai."

Jamie was 37 years old.

Don't rule out a fight between Oscar De La Hoya and Gennady Golovkin -- 'cause after ODLH called out Triple G last week ... his rep tells TMZ Sports, "Stranger things have happened."

GGG's rep says the boxer is well aware of the TMZ Sports video in which 42-year-old Oscar says he thinks about making a comeback every day -- and has his sights set on Golovkin.

But Gennady didn't take the call out as an insult ... his rep says, "It was a show of respect."

In fact, GGG and De La Hoya came face-to-face just days after the video and had a very friendly exchange ... even taking a picture together (see above).

But get this ... GGG's rep says the boxer is so dominant, he has trouble finding opponents -- "We can't even get guys to return our calls."

So, if Oscar wants a fight, and the money's good enough ... we're told, "Stranger things have happened."

The days of NBA rookies blowing their entire fortunes on stupid stuff like ridiculous cars (Antoine Walker), insane jewelry (Antoine Walker) and overpriced suits (Antoine Walker) are over ... so says ex-NBA commish David Stern who says rookies are so much smarter now when it comes to cash.

Stern -- who ran the NBA for 30 years before handing over the reigns to Adam Silver back in February '14 -- was in NYC this weekend when he told us he was LOVING retirement.

But when we asked the 72-year-old if he had any financial advice for the upcoming rookies so they wouldn't end up broke, his answer was very interesting ... essentially saying players now are MUCH more educated about their finances than players back in the day.

The funny thing is ... it's due in part to guys like Antoine Walker, who blew more than $110 million ... and is now dedicated to teaching players about how to avoid making the same mistakes he did.

The Swoosh still has Hope Solo's back ... with a rep for Nike telling TMZ Sports the company is "sticking by" the Team USA star despite new allegations that she berated police officers during her '14 arrest.

Nike tells us ... "Our relationship with Hope Solo has not changed. We are sticking by her and the USA Women's soccer team."

Solo's conduct has been called into question again ... after ESPN published documents showing Solo called a cop a "bitch" and told him she would "kick his ass" during her domestic violence arrest.

Former NBA player Earl Watson is pulling a Rodney Dangerfield ... going back to school -- there's only one problem, being a student SUCKS when it comes to your bank account.

Watson -- who spent 13 seasons in the NBA -- revealed his college status in new legal docs filed in his custody war with his ex, actress Jennifer Freeman ... who famously starred as Claire Kyle on "My Wife and Kids."

Long story short ... Watson claims Freeman wants him to fly out to L.A. for the summers to spend time with their daughter, even though he doesn't live in L.A. anymore.

Watson says he's got a job (assistant coach on an NBA D-League team) and he's going back to school to get his bachelor's degree ... so he's not exactly free to fly across the country.

Plus, Watson says his paychecks are WAYYY smaller now compared to what he was making in the NBA ... plus, school ain't cheap ... and he needs to watch his budget these days.

His solution? He wants a different custody arrangement ... one that's more flexible with his job, location and financial situation.

And speaking of going back to school ... anyone remember the Triple Lindy?

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone have been long-time buds, but on Saturday Arnold illustrated a big difference between them.

They had just left their go-to lunch place, Cafe Roma in Bev Hills, when Arnold point out he was driving a modest Yukon ... then point to what looks like a way more expensive ride that Sly was driving -- looks like a Mercedes G Class.
