Jarret Stoll Arrest Busted Smuggling 8-Ball ... In Board Shorts

Published | Updated

NHL star Jarret Stoll tried to smuggle an 8-ball of cocaine and 8 grams of Molly into a Vegas pool party ... by hiding them in his board shorts ... this according to the police report obtained by TMZ Sports.

The L.A. Kings player was busted around 4:30 PM on Friday while going through the security area -- that EVERYONE goes through -- on the way in to the Wet Republic pool party at the MGM Grand.

Despite the sign CLEARLY warning people that they will be patted down on the way inside, Stoll took his chances ... and a Wet Republic security guard found a pink baggie with white powder and numerous "gel-caps" with an off-white powder inside consistent with the drug "Molly."

According to the police report ... when asked if the powder inside the baggie was coke, Stoll said, "Yes."

Cops say Stoll had 3.3 grams of coke ... and 8.1 grams of Molly.

Stoll -- who's famously dating "Dancing with the Stars" co-host Erin Andrews -- was transported to a nearby jail ... where he was booked for drug possession.

He was eventually released after posting $5,000 bond.

Tim Tebow Philly Cheesesteak Joints Confused What the Hell Are Eagles Thinking?!

Published | Updated

Two major Philadelphia rivals -- Pat's and Geno's -- are finally uniting on something ... they both have no idea what the Eagles were thinking in signing Tim Tebow.

We spoke with managers from both of the legendary Philly cheesesteak joints (Anthony from Geno's and Tommy from Pat's) ... who tell us they're just trying to make sense of the whole thing.

Anthony from Geno's -- "We’re all very confused by this whole off-season. Last time I checked you have to be able to throw in order to be a successful QB."

Tommy from Pat's -- "We can only play one QB at a time, and now we have one that hasn't played since 2012!? Does he still know how to play? I don’t know where Chip Kelly is going with this one."

Despite the confusion, both guys say they wish Tebow nothing but the best -- and have each personally promised Tim a free sando if/when he drops by.

"All I know is that the Britt that I knew in high school was a great kid, a really good friend and teammate."

Hernandez Double Murder Case Victim's Family Still Patriots Fans

Published | Updated

The family of one of the victims in the Aaron Hernandez double murder case says they will still root for the Patriots ... and will not hold Aaron's heinous crimes against the NFL team.

We spoke with Susan Vincente ... cousin of Safiro Furtado, one of the two people killed in a drive-by shooting outside a Boston-area nightclub back in 2013. Hernandez is the prime suspect.

"He needs to be brought to justice," Susan says ... "My cousin never had an enemy. He was calm and loving."

Susan says Safiro's mother is still devastated over the death of her son -- "It's still an open wound. It's been tough for her since day 1."

Officials say Hernandez plotted the attack because someone in Furtado's party accidentally spilled a drink on the former NFL star inside the club. Hernandez has been charged with murder and his trial is expected to begin later this year.

But when it comes to the Patriots, Susan says she does NOT hold anyone in the organization responsible for the murder -- "I'm still a Patriots fan. [Aaron] was just one person."

Dead Wrestler's Dad Sues the WWE Pay Up If You're Gonna Exploit My Son

Published | Updated

The WWE is cashing in on Eddie "Hot Stuff" Gilbert even though he's been dead for 20 years ... at least according to his family, which is dragging the league to court to get a cut of the action.

According to docs ... Eddie's dad, Tommy Gilbert, is in charge of the estate and says the WWE is plastering his son's image and likeness all over TV and other media platforms without permission -- and, more importantly, without paying them a dime.

Tommy says old wrestling footage of Eddie -- a pro from '79 until his death of a heart attack in '95 -- is being used to promote the WWE.

Interestingly, Eddie's fam isn't suing to block use of the footage -- they just want a judge to force the WWE to fork over a share of its profits, plus damages.

A WWE rep tells us, "Through the years, WWE has acquired the legal rights to library footage of various former wrestling organizations including Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and Mid-Southern Wrestling among many others. WWE has made substantial investments to acquire these copyrighted works and has the legal right to use them."

The rep adds, "Similar cases in the past have been unsuccessful, and we expect this case to be dismissed."

IT'S A WINNER FOR ME!

Larry King made a strong case for green-lighting HGH in baseball.

King was leaving Craig's in WeHo Saturday night when our photog asked about the hormone.

King clearly thinks the ban is ridiculous, comparing it to aspirin. Larry seems to think of HGH more as a healing Rx than a fountain of youth drug.

Larry also reveals how long he's been on the pill ... and it's a LONG time.

BTW ... Mark Cuban seems open to advocating the use of HGH in professional sports, if the studies support it.

The Game is in chill mode, temporarily hanging up his basketball jersey and definitely staying clear of cops on the court.

Game's had his troubles lately on the hardwood ... he punched an off-duty cop during a game last month after the 2 got into it. The cop sued, and Game allegedly attacked a member of the team that served him with the lawsuit. Police are also investigating the incident.

He makes it clear he's had his problems with cops ... not all of them, but certainly some. Game acknowledges some cops are good, but he has a game plan when he gets close to those who aren't.
