Cody Simpson is a robot ... or he's the biggest friggin' Knicks fan in the world, because not even a stone cold 10 like Gigi Hadid could break his steely gaze from the game.

Cody lived every dude's dream Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden ... courtside seats and a supermodel pawing at you like you're her first meal in weeks. Yet, all the Aussie singer cared about was watching the hapless Knicks lose to the Nets.

Beast Mode went into Nightclub Mode in Hollywood Thursday night ... with Marshawn Lynch hitting up 1Oak on the Sunset Strip with a ton of huge stars ... and then lighting up a cigarillo right on the street.

Lynch partied until the club shut down ... after spending some time in the same building where Amber Rose, Kenyon Martin and Baron Davis were also partying that night.

Afterward, Lynch got into a sick black Ferrari ... but then moved into a Range Rover, where he started smoking while parked on Sunset.

We know what you're thinking ... but our in-house weed experts (lots of glaucoma over here) examined the video and say the item in Lynch's hand does not have the properties of a traditional blunt.

One expert says, "It's not burning the way a blunt would burn."

Call 'em the Lakerzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz ... 'cause the Purple and Gold are so boring to watch, they put Heidi Klum's kid right to sleep Wednesday night ... even though they were sitting courtside.

The supermodel took both Johan and Henry to Staples Center to watch the Lake Show take on the New Orleans Pelicans ... but it was pretty much over by halftime.

The Lakers ultimately lost again 113 to 92.

STOP BODY-SHAMING JAMEIS WINSTON ... he's got a perfect QB physique ... so says one of the most famous heavyset NFL quarterbacks of all time ... former NY Giants QB Jared Lorenzen.

Of course, Winston has been under fire from people who say he looks too fat, doughy, soft and out-of-shape to be a successful NFL QB ... especially after he went topless at his Pro Day this week (see pic above).

But Lorenzen -- aka "The Hefty Lefty" & "The Pillsbury Throwboy" -- says Winston needs to ignore the haters and focus on winning football games.

"He's not JaMarcus Russell. He's not fat by any means. He's just a big dude," Jared says. "He's got a great body to play quarterback. The little skinny guys don't make it. They can't take a hit."

"Look at RG3 ... small guy. Now he can't even run."

BTW -- when Lorenzen played for the Giants from 2004 to 2007 he usually hovered around 300 pounds.

"I was probably a little bit on the extreme side ... but I never missed a game due to injury in my career going all the way back to when I was young. Most big guys don't. They can take a pounding."

As for Jameis, Jared says the guy's potential is off the charts -- "He's only 21 and he doesn't even have his grown man body yet. He's gonna get bigger and faster."

Kenny "The Jet" Smith says he's not exactly going to honor his former UNC coach's last wishes ... 'cause even though he got Dean Smith's $200 check, he refuses to spend the money.

You know the back story, the legendary basketball coach directed his estate to send $200 to all of his former lettermen after his death -- instructing the guys to have one last dinner on him.

But when Kenny -- who played for Smith in the '80s -- appeared on "TMZ Hollywood Sports" on Wednesday, he told us he can't bring himself to spend Dean's cash ... it's going in a frame.

Instead, Kenny says he's planning an event during the Final Four in Indianapolis this weekend -- gathering a bunch of ex-Tarheels for a special tribute to the the man he considers the greatest college coach of all time. Pretty cool.

BTW -- the hot lady with Kenny is his wife Gwen ... his co-star in their upcoming reality show. "Meet The Smiths." The two of them dish about the series on "TMZ Hollywood Sports" tonight on Reelz.

It seems like a joke to everyone who saw it -- 'cause it was hysterical -- but boxer Marvin "Papi Gallo" Jones says dropping his cell phone from his trunks during a fight ... cost him the bout!

Jones was fighting Friday night in Florida when his cell phone -- yes, cell phone -- fell onto the mat right after the opening bell.

Jones tells TMZ Sports he was listening to music before the fight and tucked the phone into his shorts. When he headed to the ring, he pulled out his headphones ... but not the phone. Next thing ya know his Samsung Galaxy's taking a standing 8.

Jones says he lost as result of the blunder because it threw off his focus. He says he kept thinking, "Man, my cell phone just fell out in the ring – and on TV!"

The Game got slapped with much more than a foul for socking a basketball opponent -- 'cause the hoops league just suspended the rapper until cops and the D.A. decide his fate.

TMZ Sports broke the story -- the rap star walloped a player during a game in Hollywood Sunday. The punchee turned out to be an off-duty cop, and Game claims the guy threatened him with gun play.

We spoke to Jester Black, director of the JBL Basketball League and he tells us Game is persona non grata ... for the time being. He says, "I spoke to Game and told him that as of now his team can participate, but he can't be on the court until the investigation is done."

Black says Game can't even put his ass on the bench or participate in team huddles -- but he can watch from the stands.

One of Darren Sharper's ex-college teammates is "appalled" that his alma mater William & Mary has NOT removed him from the school's hall of fame after Sharper's rape conviction ... and he's demanding action, asap.

We spoke with former lineman Josh Beyer -- who was inducted into the W&M hall of fame the same year as Sharper ... after playing alongside the guy back in the '90s.

Beyer tells TMZ Sports he's shocked to learn that Sharper is still enshrined after everything that was revealed in the rape investigation ... and that Sharper's continued association sullies the integrity of the university.

"I'm appalled. His name should be removed from everything representing the university right now," Beyer says.

"You have to think of the bigger picture, being associated with something like that affects everything from recruiting to sponsorships. It's not worth it."

Derek Jeter just got some major props from one of the most respected guys in the business world -- Mark Cuban ... who tells TMZ Sports Jeter's newest endeavor could be a real money maker.

FYI -- Jeter is reportedly opening a brand new restaurant at Tampa International Airport called The Players’ Tribute Bar & Grill ... inspired by his digital media company, The Players’ Tribune.

Cuban pointed out that 95% of restaurants fail ... but says Jeter has what it takes to turn the place into a winner.

There would be no Hollywood movie ending if Ivan Drago were to fight Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao ... so says Dolph Lundgren who claims the "Rocky IV" villain would CRUSH both dudes.

Dolph was out in Hollywood -- signing some pretty cool pieces of memorabilia from the 1985 classic -- when he told us Ivan would have a simple message for the real life boxers -- "You will lose."

Basically, when it comes down to it ... Dolph says Ivan (6'7") would have been too big and too strong for Pac (5'7") and May (5'8").

Cross another couple of stars off the ringside list for the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight -- because Chrissy Teigen says there's no way in hell she and John Legend are paying $87k for tickets!

We broke the story ... a high end NY ticket broker is selling the first ringside seats for $87,500 each -- and says he's got multiple "serious" buyers lining up to throw their money around.

Which brings us to Chrissy ... who loves boxing ... who's married to a guy who also loves boxing ... who happens to be super rich ... and who also refuses to spend that kind of money on tickets.

And she's not the only rich star who says the tickets are a ripoff ... "Shark Tank" star Robert Herjavec is also refusing to pony up the dough.

Rourke -- sportin' a camouflage vest and some tight white bike shorts -- hit up Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood ... while Manny was inside gettin' his sweat on.

Chris Brown's ex-GF Karrueche Tran is not rebounding with an NBA superstar -- telling TMZ Sports the rumors about her and Klay Thompson are complete B.S.

There were rumblings that Tran hooked up with the Golden State Warriors shooting guard recently -- after he had been pursuing her for months.

But yesterday in L.A., Miss Tran not only shot down the rumors -- but took a dig at Thompson ... dropping the "I don't even know who that is" line.

Rap superstar Wale believes he's been "blackballed" by the WWE over an incident last year -- but he's begging the organization for a 2nd chance ... and tells TMZ Sports he's willing to do anything to bury the hatchet.

Wale believes he's been on Vince McMahon's bad side ever since he got into a fight with another fan at "Monday Night Raw" back in March 2014 ... a fight first reported by TMZ Sports.

But Wale -- who's a HUUUUUGE wrestling fanatic -- says the friction between himself and the WWE is killing him ... and he wants to make things right.

Wale says he has nothing but respect for Vince, Triple H and the rest of the gang -- and says he wants an internship with WWE to learn from the best in the business.

"I think me and Triple H should talk ... I think we could help each other."

Super Bowl champ Desmond Bishop knows the perfect way to get ready for the ultimate man's game ... and that's to train like a total chick.

Bishop and former SD Chargers player Lavelle Hawkins ditched the macho-man workouts for a "Body Blast Boot Camp" class in L.A. recently to strut, dip, and lunge with all the ladies.

If you think the two world class athletes breezed through their session you're wrong ... this class was run by celebrity trainer -- and super hot fitness model -- Lita Lewis, who Desmond tells TMZ Sports is a BEAST in the gym.

"It's pretty hard, a few times I had to tap out."

Lewis has worked out with huge sports stars like Kevin Durant and Justin Tuck in the past. Bishop says that while it's her program that gets them in the door, the fact that she's smokin' hot doesn't hurt either.

"I like the music, the dancing part of it, and her looks just make it that much better."

Here's CRAZY video of NFL linebacker DeAndre Levy ... WING-WALKING on a bi-plane ... while only relying on a tiny little safety rope in case he slipped during the flight.

Again, this video is NUTS!!!

Levy is no scrub ... the Detroit Lions stud is one of the best linebackers in the league and he's heading into the final year of his 3-year $9.75 million contract.

So, he's got a lot to live for.

Still, Levy decided to risk it all for the thrill of some in-flight stunts -- as the pilot of the plane executes some barrel rolls and crazy inverted flying tricks.

Ya gotta wonder how the Lions feel about Levy's hobby -- considering they wouldn't even let Matt Stafford ride a motorcycle when he signed his big contract.
