Stick a fork in 'em, 'cause the engagement between KC Chiefs QB Aaron Murray and smokin' hot news reporter Kacie McDonnell is over ... and it doesn't sound like there's any chance of a reconciliation.

Their love story became national news ... when she left her job (a great job) as a reporter in Philadelphia last year and moved to KC to be with Aaron who was drafted by the Chiefs.

Kacie got a job in news in Kansas City and everything seemed to be perfect ... until McDonnell made this shocking announcement:

"I’m really committed to being a part of this community for the time being. The engagement is off. I wish him the best, it’s best to part ways. I’m moving on with my life."

FYI -- Aaron's brother is Josh Murray who just broke off his engagement to former "Bachelorette" Andi Dorfman earlier this month.

9:23 AM PT -- Law enforcement sources tell us ... Hope Solo was in the car with Stevens when he was pulled over for allegedly swerving on the road.

We're told Solo was "acting belligerent" in the car ... and pulled out her cell phone to record officers during the stop.

One source says "they were a major pain" ... and cops were thiiis close to arresting Solo for disorderly conduct.

We're told both Solo and Stevens were trying to play the dreaded, "Don't you know who we are?" card.

As for Stevens, we're told he refused to submit to a breath test -- so cops got a warrant to take him to a hospital to test his blood. Ultimately, cops were convinced he was wasted and arrested him for DUI.

The timing is interesting ... considering Solo was JUST let off the hook in a domestic violence case against her nephew and sister in which she was accused of going on a drunken violent tirade.

Former NFL tight end Jerramy Stevens -- who's married to USA soccer star Hope Solo -- was arrested for DUI in Los Angeles this week ... TMZ Sports has learned.

According to officials, the 35-year-old was popped for driving under the influence around 1:49 AM on Monday morning. Police say he was initially pulled over because his headlights were off.

Bail was set at $5,000.

According to his booking sheet, Stevens is listed at 6'7", 245 pounds.

This isn't Stevens' first arrest -- he was busted in 2012 for assault after allegedly getting violent with Solo ... though the case was eventually dropped for lack of evidence.

Who says the Cowboys can't close?

DeMarco Murray just popped the question to his longtime GF Heidi Mueller ... and good news for the running back, she said 'Yes.'

Mueller famously portrayed Kay Bennett Crane on "Passions."

DeMarco and Heidi have a daughter together.

It's the first in a series of big moves for the Dallas star -- who's set to become an unrestricted free agent in a couple of weeks and may have to leave Big D if the Cowboys don't come up with a big contract offer.

10:20 AM PT -- We also spoke with Nicola Colli ... who tells us Tiger "never seemed like he was in pain."

"We aren't mad at Tiger or his reps," Colli told an Italian-speaking member of our team ... "It's just funny and strange that he would claim something went wrong when everything seemed perfectly OK."

"You would think that if somebody hit you – somebody would say something. But [Tiger] told us nothing."

Tiger Woods may have been lying through his teeth tooth ... because race organizers at a World Cup alpine skiing race in Italy say Tiger's story about being smacked in the face by a photog is BULL.

After photos started circulating of Tiger sans front tooth ... Woods' agent issued a statement saying the golfer was caught in a photog crush and his tooth was knocked out when he was accidentally smacked in the face by a camera.

Curiously, there was no video or photos of the alleged accident ... and Tiger's mouth didn't appear bloody or swollen.

Now ... Nicola Colli, the secretary general of the race organizing committee, told the AP, "I was among those who escorted him from the tent to the snowmobile and there was no such incident."

Colli also says Tiger asked for more security when he arrived -- so police were looking after both him and his GF Lindsey Vonn at all times.

So how did Tiger really lose the tooth? All signs point to Elin ...

Busted. Again.

The saddle that was strapped to Seabiscuit's back when the legendary horse won his very last race in 1940 has just sold at auction for more than $100,000 ... TMZ Sports has learned.

It's the saddle ridden by jockey Red Pollard at the 1940 Santa Anita Handicap -- one of the most dramatic races in Seabiscuit's career. After losing the race several times before, Seabiscuit dug deep and emerged victorious in what would be his very last race.

In fact, the race was featured in the 2003 Disney movie about the thoroughbred.

According to Lelands, the company behind the auction, the final sale price was $104,260.06.

So far, the identity of the buyer has not been released.

PGA stud Dustin Johnson -- who's engaged to Paulina Gretzky -- says he's NOT a cokehead ... but admits he has struggled with alcohol abuse in recent years.

Johnson has been away from pro golf for the past few months ... ever since he reportedly tested positive for cocaine TWICE -- though Dustin denies the reports.

In fact, when he was asked specifically about cocaine use in a new interview with Golf.com, Johnson said, "I did not have a problem. It’s just something I’m not going to get into. I have issues. But that’s not the issue.”

So, what WAS the issue? Sounds like booze played a role ... with Dustin saying he's cut back on the alcohol and is trying to learn how to drink in moderation.

"I don’t miss waking up with a hangover, and I didn’t drink very often. It was just when I did it was a little too much."

DJ says he even had a $1,000 bet with Wayne Gretzky and eight other pals to see who could go into January without drinking.

Dustin is also adamant he never entered a rehab center -- but says he did hire a team of experts, including a life coach, to help him get his life back on track.

Manny Pacquiao finally watched someone else fight for a change ... Liam Neeson ... as the boxer took DOZENS of his closest friends out to watch "Taken 3" ... and TMZ Sports has the video.

Manny's group escorted the boxer to his waiting Ferrari at The Grove in L.A. Monday night -- while M.P. confirmed that he's given Floyd Mayweather an end-of-the-month deadline to agree to the proposed mega-fight on May 2nd.

Former UFC champ BJ Penn was arrested in Hawaii this weekend ... after reportedly beating a man so bad in a bar parking lot, the guy was hospitalized for a broken eye socket.

Penn had been boozing at a bar in Maui with a friend when he allegedly began to get aggressive with other bar patrons ... and Penn's buddy tried to step in between and calm the fighter down.

But according to HawaiiNewsNow.com, Penn turned on his pal -- punching him in the face and kneeing him in the forehead.

Penn's friend was so badly injured, he was reportedly taken to a nearby hospital where he was treated for a fractured left eye socket.

According to officials, Penn left the scene ... but was taken into custody at a nearby hotel. He was arrested for 2nd degree assault.

Marshawn Lynch is getting one of the highest honors one can receive in Seattle -- a SECOND strain of weed has been named after the NFL star ... and we're told it's as strong as Beastmode himself.

We spoke with Nate "Diggity" Johnson -- owner of the Queen Anne Cannabis Club in Seattle -- who tells us that after the original "Beastmode" strain sold so well last year, growers wanted to up the ante with a more powerful strain in the hopes the Seahawks would get back to the Super Bowl.

The bet paid off ... and "Diggity" says the new stuff (called Beastmode 2.0) has 5% more THC than last year's Beastmode weed -- which flew off the shelves.

"It's a super pain reliever," Diggity says ... "And hits you just like Marshawn -- hard and fast."

Tiger Woods surprised gf Lindsey Vonn -- first by showing up at her race in Italy ... and then by flashing a giant gap in his mouth.

Green Bay Packers players want anyone blaming Brandon Bostick for Sunday's loss to BACK OFF ... telling TMZ Sports the epic collapse wasn't just one guy's fault, but a total team disaster.

Bostick made the gaffe seen 'round the world in Seattle on Sunday -- muffing an onside kick and allowing the Seahawks to pull off one of the craziest comebacks in NFL playoff history.

Reaction to the miscue was swift and brutal on social media, with Bostick being the butt of jokes, the subject of memes, and even the target of death threats.

We spoke to several members of The Pack who tell TMZ Sports they have Bostick's back 100% and the the loss on Sunday -- while brutal -- was a total team effort.

"We're disappointed in how the game ended but to blame Bostick is purely ridiculous, it's a team game and we win or lose as a team."

Another player told us, "I know that there are NO hard feelings against him for what happened in the game. You definitely feel for him – I felt for him."

There will be an elite athlete in the building Tuesday during President Obama's State of the Union Address -- an army veteran who completed 4 MARATHONS after losing his legs in Afghanistan.

Staff Sergeant Jason Gibson was seriously injured when he stepped on an IED while on patrol in 2012 -- and after 21 surgeries decided he wanted to participate in sports again.

So he learned how to ride a handbike ... and a short time later got himself into good enough shape to complete a marathon.

That was only the beginning ... Gibson says he decided to pick up skiing and surfing as well ... telling TMZ Sports, "I love to go downhill fast. I love speed."

"I started all this after my injury. I tell people, 'I've done more things with no legs, then when I had them.'"

Gibson explained, "Instead of moping around the house, I'm out there being active ... doing something."

"My wife's happy I'm out of the house," he chuckled.

Gibson -- who's been recording a bunch of his activity on his GoPro cam -- says he's already scoping out a few marathons to ride in this year.

Justin Bieber is hoping his 60 MILLION twitter followers can make a dent in NBA All-Star voting ... and he's putting his weight behind a guy who plays in Canada.

Bieber is pushing for Kyle Lowry -- a point guard for the Toronto Raptors who's having a pretty good season ... and is currently 3rd in the All-Star voting behind John Wall and Dwyane Wade.

The Canadian pop star tweeted, "Toronto has been killin it and @Klow7 deserves to be an nba all star. Make sure to vote for him. #WeTheNorth. Good luck buddy."

The All-Star game "starters" are chosen based on fan voting -- so if Bieber can mobilize his army, there's a good chance Lowry can leapfrog the other two guys in the Eastern Conference backcourt.
