Jimbo Fisher's wife was ready for her Beverly Hills close-up Monday -- rocking a $2,000 Louis Vuitton purse to the team "Beef Bowl" at a fancy L.A. restaurant ... and TMZ Sports has the footage.

Candi Fisher -- who's got a reputation as a hardcore football fan -- was first off the team bus when it pulled up to Lawry's in Bev Hills ... sporting a L.V. Tivoli GM handbag.

Of course, the Fishers can afford it -- Jimbo signed a $21 million contract with FSU back in January.

As for the "Beef Bowl" ... the entire FSU team, including Jameis Winston, devoured hundreds of pounds of prime rib on Monday ... just 24 hours after the Oregon team had their pre-Rose Bowl mega-meal.

The man who beat out Michael Sam for a spot on the St. Louis Rams tells TMZ Sports ... Sam "definitely" has NFL talent and strongly believes he should be on a roster.

We spoke with defensive end Ethan Westbrooks ... who ultimately won a roster spot over Sam during training camp. Sam's competition with Ethan was one of the featured storylines in Sam's OWN Network documentary.

"We both had an opportunity to show who can help the team more and show we belong," Westbrooks says ... "I was just more of a fit for the current direction the team wanted to go in."

Westbrooks says Sam was a "great teammate" during camp -- and they continued their friendship even after Sam was cut.

Which is why Ethan says he got so upset with several Twitter cowards who made homophobic comments to him about Sam on Twitter during camp.

"It got to a point I had to delete the app from my phone and just focus on the game."

As for Sam's future, Westbrooks tells us ... "The NFL is hard man. I wish him the best and hope nothing but the best for him."

Johnny Manziel hasn't lost the support of his teammates ... so says a Cleveland Browns player who tells TMZ Sports, "most guys on this team want him to be the one leading us next year."

The player -- who spoke to us on the condition of anonymity -- says everyone knows Johnny made mistakes ... but most teammates are chalking it up to immaturity.

"He's still learning, He's still a rookie. He needs more time to figure out life at the next level."

The player adds, "Johnny hasn't been a bad teammate" ... and several Browns believe JM's screw-ups have been blown out of proportion by the media because he's so famous.

"He has to live his life. As long as next year we compete for the playoffs, guys in this locker room will support him in his maturation process."

So, what provoked the self-induced nip slip? Ya gotta watch the clip ... it's hilarious.

In today's episode of "Things You Never Thought A Black Guy Would Say" ... West Coast hip hop legend Kurupt is going to tell us what a great guy the NBA lost in ... Donald Sterling.

Here's the thing ... he's not kidding.

During the 5-minute interview with vladtv.com ... the rapper praises Sterling as a "great guy" -- who got screwed over by the NBA.

"They took a good man down," Kurupt says with a straight face ... despite the fact Sterling said on-tape that he didn't want V. Stiviano bringing black people to Clippers games.

Kurupt also explains his friendship with Stiviano ... and defends her too.

Multiple independent witnesses tell TMZ Sports ... they each spotted Johnny Manziel partying well past midnight at a Cleveland bar on Friday ... just hours before he missed a team treatment session.

Our sources -- and they're pretty solid -- all say Manziel was hanging out and drinking at Barley House in Cleveland with a small party (3 to 4 other people) and didn't leave until 1:30 AM on Saturday morning.

We're told ... Johnny's group was seated in a "secluded VIP-kind of area" ... and sipped on vodka and champagne -- racking up a bill close to $1,000.

One source snapped a photo ... and though it's not the greatest quality ... it sure does look a lot like Johnny Football. The meta-data on the pic says it was shot at 1:21 AM on Saturday morning.

Manziel spoke to the media on Monday and denied reports that he "threw a party" that night -- but it seems like the 22-year-old is just arguing semantics at this point.

Tom Brady is fired up for his alma mater to hire Jim Harbaugh -- claiming the move would be nothing short of "awesome."

Brady called in to WEEI in Boston today -- and when asked about the possibility that Harbaugh takes the head coaching job at the University of Michigan, Brady was all about it.

"If Michigan could get that type of coach, it would be incredible," the Patriots QB said.

"To have a great coach like that lead a program is awesome."

ESPN star Skip Bayless just unloaded on Johnny Manziel ... claiming he's spoken with several people close to the Browns QB and he is convinced Johnny is an alcoholic and a liar.

Bayless made the comments on "First Take" -- telling Stephen A. Smith he's spoken with many people "in and around the Cleveland Browns" organization and is convinced the 22-year-old has a serious drinking problem.

Skip's comments come in the wake of media reports that Johnny skipped a team treatment session on Saturday following a raging party on Friday night.

Bayless expanded ... saying, "I believe that even [Johnny's] parents are fed up to the point that they believe he needs to get some help."

Skip says his sources have told him Johnny has been lying to team executives, coaches and teammates -- and they're sick of it.

Suge Knight says parents have NO BUSINESS coaching their own kids in youth sports ... and in making his point, it sounds like the former Death Row head took a pretty personal shot at Snoop.

It all went down outside Mastro's Steakhouse in Bev Hills -- when Knight told TMZ Sports why he thinks the parent/child coaching dynamic is a bad idea that can be harmful to the kid.

But then came the apparent Snoop diss -- when Suge said, "A lot of fathers who didn't play football or play sports really try to pave the way for their kids to be great ... you can't do that."

Of course, Snoop -- who reportedly didn't play high school football -- has famously coached his son's youth football teams and even created his own youth football league in L.A.

What's interesting is Suge and Snoop had beefed for years ... but appeared to have called a truce last year when they ran into each other in an L.A. nightclub.

Khloe Kardashian isn't bailing on her divorce -- she fully intends to follow through one year after filing -- the problem is she can't schedule a sit down with Lamar Odom.

Sources close to the Kardashian's tell us Khloe has been unable to meet with her estranged husband to finalize terms of the divorce with their lawyers ... despite numerous attempts.

We're told the ex-basketball star isn't responding to calls from Khloe or her attorney -- and he's very rarely popped up in public. Certainly not long enough to make things official. Our camera guys spotted LO 3 weeks ago ... and he seemed more than fine leaving the divorce/marriage in limbo.

Remember, Lamar once said he wasn't convinced Khloe would see the divorce through.

However, KK definitely wants to cut the cord for good. We're told her best case scenario is meeting Lamar to settle up -- but worst case ... she will file a default judgment if he doesn't respond soon.

Here's video of Los Angeles Lakers part-owner Jesse Buss stumbling out of a Hollywood nightclub early Monday morning ... and it sure looks like he stopped to pee on a dumpster on the way out.

The 26-year-old -- who is also the team's Director of Scouting -- was being helped out of Greystone Manor by friends just after 1AM when he stopped ... and spent some time pressed against a dumpster in the parking lot.

So, was Jesse taking a whiz?? You can see what appears to be the classic "dip and zip" move as he finishes up ... but we can't be certain.

Eventually, Jesse finishes up whatever it was he was doing and makes his way to a car ... and a flock of attractive females follow. It appears some got in the car. One was definitely turned away.

David Geffen says he's got a stalker ... and the alleged suspect happens to be a former college football player who was famously kicked off his team for kissing his boyfriend.

According to court docs obtained by TMZ ... Jamie Kuntz is being accused of following, harassing and making a "credible threat" against the Hollywood big wig sometime between September and November.

Kuntz was arrested in October and now faces a felony stalking charge ... as well as a misdemeanor for disobeying a court order to stay away from Geffen. He'll be in court this week to face the charges.

Back in 2012, Kuntz made headlines when he was kicked off the North Dakota State College of Science football team ... after he was seen kissing his bf in the press box.

Kuntz's lawyer David Wohl claims his client and Geffen had a physical relationship -- but Kuntz fell for the music and movie mogul, and when the feeling wasn't reciprocated ... Geffen got a restraining order.

The lawyer claims there was no stalking ... just a big misunderstanding.

Jameis Winston and Barack Obama have something in common -- they both ordered the same exact meal at Roscoe's House Of Chicken 'N Waffles.

TMZ Sports has learned the Florida State QB hit up the iconic L.A. chicken joint around 12:30 AM Sunday for a late night meal.

Our poultry sources tell us ... Winston was dressed in his FSU warm-ups and arrived with 3 women in tow.

We're told Winston ordered the "Obama Special" ... 3 wings and a waffle ... which was named after the President when he ordered the meal during a visit back in 2012.

The good news? Seems like Jameis listened to Kevin Hart's advice ... 'cause we're told he paid for the meal without incident.

"It's a recession out here and I have to pay $1.99 for a song??"

Ya gotta check out the clip ... DeAndre also gives props to another Clippers teammate, Spencer Hawes, over his amazingly ugly Xmas day suit.

Nobody likes missing their flight ... including MLB star CC Sabathia ... who was so upset after missing his plane to Jamaica, cops were called to calm down the big fella ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Sabathia -- along with 11 people in his party -- arrived to the Newark International Airport on Saturday morning ... only to be told they were too late to board the flight.

As one source put it, "CC started freaking out" on airline staff -- and that's when someone called the NY Port Authority for help.

Fortunately for CC, this story has a happy ending ... we're told cops helped CC cool off and the NY Yankees pitcher was able to book a later flight for his entire party.

No arrests. No citations. And eventually, the gang made it to Jamaica to start their vacation.

The finger Jose Canseco SHOT OFF HIS HAND is almost as good as new ... so says the MLB star's ex-wife who just showed TMZ Sports some pretty gnarly never-before-seen pics of Jose's progress.

Jessica Canseco was leaving 1 Oak in Hollywood when she admitted she told Jose to have the finger amputated after he put a bullet through the digit back in October.

But fortunately Jose didn't take her advice ... and now Jessica says he's on his way to one of the most miraculous recoveries she's ever seen -- thanks to an insane surgical procedure involving a piece of Jose's hip bone!!!
