Question: What happens when you're pimped out 1975 Chevy Caprice mysteriously goes missing?
Answer: You replace it with an even PIMPER one!

At least that's how problems are solved in Antonio Cromartie's household ... where the Arizona Cardinals star's wife just surprised him with a pretty bad ass classic whip.

Long story short ... Cromartie loves classic cars and had a customized '75 Caprice that he LOVED in San Diego back when he was with the Chargers. But when he left for the NY Jets, the car went missing.

Fast forward to 2014 ... Antonio's wife Terricka knew A.C. missed that car -- so she surprised him with a new one for Xmas ... a '73 Caprice with red leather interior, a soft-top roof and 20-inch custom rims with red trim.

"He had been looking for one for a while so I surprised him with it," Terricka tells us. We're told Antonio immediately fell in love with the car and already has plans to trick it out even more!

The daughter of Sacramento Kings owner Vivek Ranadivé tells TMZ Sports ... yes she's tight with Tyga -- but there's absolutely ZERO boot-knockin' going down between them.

As we previously reported, Tyga has been spending a LOT of quality time with Anjali Ranadivé (aka Anjali World) ... who happens to be an aspiring singer. The two were seen getting off a private jet together earlier this month leading to speculation they were romantically involved.

But Anjali tells us, "We're just friends and working on music together."

We're told the two met through her manager ... and Anjali says they hit it off (in a platonic and professional way) -- and have been hitting the studio together ever since.

They've already recorded one song together which they performed at a recent Kings game (see video below.)

"I look up to him musically," Anjali says ... "and I can't wait to make even more music with Tyga in the future."

After Justin Bieber showed off the brand new set of wings he got himself for Xmas, his pal (and boxing trainer) Floyd Mayweather welcomed him to one of the most elite clubs on the planet.

"@JustinBieber Welcome to the Jet Club!" Mayweather wrote.

"Yes, I got a 14 passenger jet. Got to give them another reason to hate, but I will motivate the people that are ambitious and want to be winners in life. I am guilty! "

He continued, "I'm materialistic & I'm motivated by money...but GOD is first in my life. GOD will not give you anything you can't handle. That's why GOD gave me the best hands in the business to pray with, box with and count money with."

No pants? No problem.

Michael Phelps -- who just finished up a stint at a rehab center -- brought a 6-pack to Christmas.

The Olympic swimmer and his girlfriend Nicole Johnson (Miss California 2010) spent the holiday together ... along with some friends and posed for a hilarious pic.

Phelps posted the pic on Instagram and wrote, "Yep.... I forgot my pjs for the pjs party .... Oops."

A routine flight turned scary for ex-NFL player Jamie Dukes and his wife Angela -- when their plane made an emergency landing on Xmas day because of an out-of-control passenger.

TMZ Sports spoke with the NFL Network analyst and his wife who tell us they were on Delta flight 81 from Atlanta to L.A. when the pilot announced the plane would be making an emergency landing in Albuquerque because of a security issue on-board.

The Dukes tells us ... the issue was a bizarre-acting male passenger who had been pacing around the cabin ... getting up to go to the bathroom at least 5 or 6 times in the 90 minutes they were in the air.

Angela tells us the man appeared emotionally unstable -- bursting into tears at multiple points in the flight.

We're told the situation reached the tipping point when the man tried to use the 1st class restroom near the cockpit ... and was denied.

That's when the man began having what appeared to be "confrontational" conversations with several passengers.

Angela tells us the buzz on the plane was that the man may have made a threat.

The pilot then made an announcement over the loudspeaker that he had made a decision to take the plane down in N.M.

"When we landed, he just took his info out ... put his hands up and said 'Just come get me,'" Angela says.

The passenger was removed from the plane and was questioned by the FBI. Officials say the man will not be charged with a crime -- but was not allowed back on the plane.

Angela says she applauds the airplane staff for how they handled the situation -- but says, "I just wished I could've sat closer to him to tell him 'Dude just chill.'"

Michael Sam says he had to deal with homophobia right in his own home from the time he was a kid ... with his own brothers calling him the f-word "because I was different."

It's just the latest from Sam in his tell-all interview with Oprah -- scheduled to air this weekend -- in which the first openly gay football player to be drafted into the NFL says his brother would "Abuse me daily."

"They called me a lot of things. They called me a f**. They called me gay. They called me anything you could think of -- just to hurt me."

Sam says one of the most hurtful things they did involved an MVP trophy he received.

It might be the most incredible/disgusting/amazing outfit ever worn by a NBA player -- the holiday suit Spencer Hawes wore on the bench during last night's Clippers vs. Warriors game.

But there was a reason the Clippers 7-footer decided to rock the nasty red, white and green look ... it was all a tribute to TNT's legendary sideline reporter Craig Sager ... who's famous for his outrageous fashion statements.

Unfortunately, Craig's battling leukemia and hasn't worked this season -- so Spencer felt he would pick up the Xmas day slack.

In fact, Hawes -- who was sidelined with an injury last night -- tweeted, "Mr. Sager do you approve? Merry Christmas!"

Not all Heisman Trophy winners are alike ... especially when it comes to party habits -- just ask Oregon wide receiver Byron Marshall who says Marcus Mariota has a completely different playbook than Johnny Manziel when it comes to post-game celebrations.

Marshall -- who led the team with 61 catches for 814 yards this season -- was at LAX this when he told us how Mariota likes to unwind after a big win -- and it ain't exactly poppin' champagne and prowlin' for chicks a la Johnny Football.

Instead, Marshall says Mariota likes to just chill and kick it with his lady ... which is interesting considering there were several reports that Marcus had broken up with his GF Nicole Watase ... his high school sweetheart who also goes to school at Oregon.

So, does this mean they're back together? Based on this pic, let's hope so ...

Justin Bieber just got CALLED OUT by former two-time boxing champ Fernando Vargas -- who says his teenage son Fernando Jr. would KICK THE CRAP out of the Biebs ... and wants his chance to do so.

The Vargas' were doing an interview with BBoxingnews.com when the elder Fernando was asked if he'd let Jr. -- an undefeated amateur-- spar Justin since he's been training with Floyd Mayweather.

"Bring him down, we'll meet him anywhere, I'd love to do a fight with Justin Bieber and my son."

The younger Vargas weighed in too, saying he's seen Justin training with Floyd on social media and says he definitely wants to test his pretty Canadian chin.

"He's alright, he's cool. If he's trying to do [Mayweather's famous shoulder roll technique], I don't see it happening for him."

More drama for boxer Jermain Taylor ... this time, the IBF Middleweight champ has been accused of throwing a BRICK at a woman near his home in Arkansas.

According to the Pulaski County Sheriff's Dept., a 30-year-old woman claims Taylor launched a brick through her car window ... and she was bleeding.

Cops say Taylor ADMITTED to launching the brick, but claims he only did it because the woman was driving right at him.

Wrestling superstar Kevin Nash has been suspended by the WWE in the wake of his violent, bloody arrest in Florida ... TMZ has learned.

We broke the story ... 6'10" Nash was popped after allegedly choke slamming his 6'5" son Tristen during a domestic dispute.

Now, the WWE tells us that while 55-year-old Nash has not performed "regularly" since 2004, his non-wrestling "legends" contract has been immediately suspended until the domestic dispute is resolved.

Swaggy P ain't the only Lakers player rollin' around on some fresh new wheels ... TMZ Sports has learned teammate Wesley Johnson just dropped $205k on a pimped out Aston Martin!!

We're told ... the 4th overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft recently hit up Roadstarr Motorsports in L.A. looking to get a Christmas gift for himself.

He picked out a 2014 Aston Martin Rapide -- 0 to 60 in 4.7 seconds -- and customized it with a pearl white paint job that featured a matte black center.

The interior ... burgundy Italian leather with white stitching -- plus 10-inch monitors on the back of the front seats.

Plus ... 20-inch rims (we're told Wesley was adamant about dubs.)
