For the second night in a row, Floyd Mayweather decided to deal with the murder/suicide involving his friend Earl Hayes by sitting courtside at a NBA game.

Floyd -- along with model Liza Hernandez -- went to Staples Center and sat on the hardwood to watch the Lakers take on the Sacramento Kings ... laughing and smiling as if nothing was wrong.

Shocking ... considering Mayweather witnessed the horrific incident on FaceTime -- and you'd think a public place like a NBA game would be the last place he'd want to be.

As we previously reported, cops want to speak with Mayweather about the incident. We're told police have reached out to Floyd's people ... but they've been "less than willing" to cooperate.

Meanwhile, Kobe Bryant walked on to the court last night with a shirt that read "I Can't Breathe" ... as a tribute to Eric Garner.

TMZ Sports has obtained new pics of Cam Newton's truck -- which show just how bad it was banged up in Tuesday's wreck.

After the collision, which occurred right near Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, Cam's Dodge Ram 1500 truck was hauled to a nearby tow yard.

Sources tell us the truck sustained so much damage from the rollover crash, it's considered a total loss.

It's fortunate Newton didn't have a passenger in the car -- because as you can see in the photo, the roof on the front passenger side caved in when it rolled over. Witnesses say the car rolled at least 2 times.

The truck was not your average Dodge Ram -- we're told it was pimped out especially for Cam ... with a custom lift job and other cool features.

Of course, Newton walked away with only minor fractures in his back -- but he's gotta be bummed to lose the ride.

Johnny Manziel's birthday cake game just went NEXT LEVEL ... 'cause the guy celebrated his big 22 with a 45-pound MONEY CAKE ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Johnny's friends hit up Colossal Cupcakes in Cleveland -- which has baked for stars like Kyrie Irving and Joe Haden -- and ordered up a custom dessert for the new Cleveland Browns starting QB.

We spoke with CC owner Kelly Kandah who tells us it took 2 days to sculpt the double chocolate fudge cake ... which included edible gold bars and gold coins.

Final bill for the 45-pound monster ... $600!

San Francisco 49ers safety Antoine Bethea tells TMZ Sports the team was PUMPED to see Colin Kaepernick get in Sio Moore's face at halftime last week ... saying, "It fired the guys up."

TMZ Sports broke the story ... Kaepernick got into a heated spat with Moore in the tunnel at last week's game ... with Moore calling the QB a "bitch ass motherf**ker."

"Kap is a grown man and he won't let ANYBODY disrespect him like that," Bethea says.

"The guys in the locker room love seeing when your leader steps up like that. It makes us all rally behind him and get ready for these last few weeks and fight to get in (the playoffs)."

Bethea chalks the whole thing up to the local rivalry and says the 49ers are already moving on from the incident.

"Trust me, we are not worried about Sio and what the Raiders are doing. They got the victory and we look forward to getting our team ready for next week."

Donald Trump is betting some serious cash on Tiger Woods -- hiring the golfer to design an 18-hole course at his massive property in Dubai.

Trump announced the partnership this morning ... saying Woods "will be a tremendous asset in developing the course at the Trump World Golf Club, Dubai."

Donald is taking a pretty big chance with Woods -- since Trump has a reputation for running some of the nicest courses in the world.

Tiger is new to the design game -- with his first course to open in Mexico by the end of the year.

Floyd Mayweather whipped his friend Earl Hayes into a frenzy over his wife's infidelity ... to the point Hayes gunned her down ... and now the LAPD wants to sit the boxer down for questioning ... multiple sources tell TMZ.

TMZ broke the story ... Floyd was on FaceTime with his rapper friend Monday morning when the shots were fired. Now we're told, Floyd was telling Hayes he should leave his wife, Stephanie Moseley -- a well-known backup dancer and star of VH1's "Hit the Floor" -- because she was bad for his career.

As we reported, Hayes was distraught over what he believed was repeated infidelity, including a fling he said Stephanie had with Trey Songz.

One Mayweather source says Floyd challenged Hayes, saying he was weak for not leaving her.

At that point, as Floyd was on FaceTime, Hayes went off and said he was going to gun down Stephanie. We're told when the boxer realized Hayes was going to shoot Stephanie, he begged Hayes not to go through with it.

Our law enforcement sources say Hayes went into the bathroom and fired 10 to 12 shots as Stephanie was taking a bath. We're told she was hit multiple times.

Neighbors who heard the shots called the LAPD and cops rushed to the scene, but when they got to the door they heard another shot and retreated. That shot was Hayes taking his own life.

The SWAT team showed up and broke down the door. Cops found Stephanie's body in the bathtub and Hayes was in the bedroom.

We're now told the LAPD wants to interview Floyd ... presumably because he was a witness to the murder-suicide.

12:31 PM PT -- Cam suffered two "transverse fractures" in his lower back and will remain in the hospital overnight ... according to the Carolina Panthers.

Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was hospitalized after his truck was flipped over in a car wreck Tuesday in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Officials say two cars were involved in the wreck ... Cam's truck and a sedan ... which collided on a bridge right in front of Bank of America Stadium where the Panthers play.

Cam was seen on his back on the side of the bridge where the accident took place ... grimacing in pain. Several people were seen tending to the 25-year-old QB.

We're told Cam kept trying to stand up after the accident ... but couldn't ... and eventually relented and waited for help to arrive.

Multiple emergency vehicles raced to the scene. Cam reportedly told paramedics he did NOT want to be transported to the hospital ... but eventually gave in.

He was placed on a stretcher and loaded into an ambulance which rushed him to a nearby hospital.

As for the condition of the other driver, officials tell us the person was also transported to the hospital -- but did not suffer any life-threatening injuries.

A witness at the scene tells TMZ Sports ... Newton was "t-boned" from the left side, swerved, and then flipped over.

The witness says he observed Cam crawling out of the back window of the truck ... he walked over to the curb and laid down.

The witness says, "Cam didn't blow any lights or stop signs" and believes Cam had the right of way through the intersection where he was struck.

49ers QB Colin Kaepernick got into a heated exchange with Oakland Raiders linebacker Sio Moore during halftime this weekend ... with Sio calling Colin a "bitch ass motherf**ker."

TMZ Sports has the footage ... showing Moore talking smack to 49ers players as they ran into the tunnel at halftime during Sunday's matchup.

Moore says something that grabs CK's attention and Kaepernick gets in his face -- saying, "I'm coming for you."

That's when you hear Moore fire back ... "Bitch ass mothef**ker."

As the two separate, 49ers defensive tackle Tony Jerod-Eddie steps in ... yelling, "I'll fire your ass up."

The Raiders came out and dominated the second half ... and won the game 24-13.

After the game, Moore posted a pic of himself and Kaepernick on Instagram with the caption, "There's a difference between boys and Men... Freakin chump."

Washington Wizards star John Wall fought back tears last night ... after dedicating his performance to his 6-year-old friend Miyah Telemaque-Nelson who died of cancer Monday morning.

"This is an emotional game for me," Wall said following the win against the Celtics ... "This is for Miyah ...one of my close friends that I lost that I met last year."

Wall and Miyah were pretty tight -- and he helped her meet Nicki Minaj back in March.

"I can't believe this little angel is gone," Minaj wrote Tuesday morning ... "When I met her she was recovering."

"Sending love to her mother and family and John. This is heartbreaking. She was so full of life. #RIPMiyah."

Just hours after witnessing a murder/suicide via FaceTime, Floyd Mayweather decided to get out of his house to sit courtside at the L.A. Clippers basketball game Monday night.

Floyd actually appeared to be in a pretty decent mood considering the circumstances ... shaking hands and talking with Clippers stars Chris Paul and Jamal Crawford before they took on the Phoenix Suns at Staples Center.

As TMZ first reported, Floyd was on the phone Monday morning with rapper Earl Hayes when he killed his wife, VH1 star Stephanie Moseley, and then himself.

Floyd Mayweather is reeling tonight ... because he was on FaceTime with one of his best friends when the guy pulled out a gun, shot his wife and then killed himself ... TMZ has learned.

Sources tell us ... rapper Earl Hayes called Floyd on FaceTime Monday morning in a rage, over claims his wife -- VH1 star Stephanie Moseley -- had been unfaithful.

According to our Floyd sources, Earl said he was going to kill his wife. The champ was pleading with him to get a grip ... to no avail. Floyd will not say how much he saw, but he acknowledges he was a witness and heard everything.

Notre Dame WR Justin Brent -- the guy who dated porn star Lisa Ann -- has moved on to thicker pastures ... and is now dating one of the most famous booty models in the ass game ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Of course, Brent's brief relationship with the 42-year-old porn Hall of Famer made national headlines earlier this year ... since the 19-year-old goes to a Catholic university which frowns upon pre-marital sex.
