Ex-NBA Player Jeremy Tyler My Baby Mama Punched Our Baby ... And Kicked My Pregnant Sis
Ex-NBA player Jeremy Tyler -- who was just released by the Lakers -- claims his baby mama went berserk and punched their 10-month-old child last week ... and now he's obtained a restraining order against her.
TMZ Sports has learned ... the 23-year-old -- who's expected to sign a deal to play in China -- filed court docs in L.A. asking for protection from Sukey Rowan ... a British national who Tyler's been with for years.
In the docs, Tyler says Rowan got violent during an altercation at his mother's house on October 18th -- when she showed up to the home before she was expected to be there and demanded to see their child.
"I brought [the child] outside and she swung at me and tried to hit me while I was holding our son," Tyler says ... "At one point she missed me and hit our son."
Tyler continues, "My sister tried to get between us, and she kicked my sister, who is nine months pregnant, in the stomach."
Tyler says he's not only concerned for his safety -- but worries that Rowan will take the child to the U.K. and that "I will never see him again."
Despite the allegations, Tyler says "I still love Sukey, but I cannot let my son and I live in danger because of her mental issues and violent temper."
A judge granted a temporary restraining order against Rowan -- which also bars her from leaving the country with their kid.
We reached out to Rowan for comment -- so far, no word back.
Lolo Jones I'm Praying For Oscar Pistorius ... My Dad Was a Killer Too
Lolo Jones has no problem showing sympathy for convicted killer Oscar Pistorius ... because her father also went to prison for homicide.
Jones was at LAX Thursday when we asked if she agreed with the 5-year sentence for Pistorius, and her answer was pretty surprising. She opened up about her father's life sentence for a murder, and why it's made her "non judgmental" about Oscar -- despite all the facts surrounding Reeva Steenkamp's death.
Check out the clip ... Jones does say she's praying for both families involved -- but refuses to condemn Pistorius. Strange?

Lane Kiffin's Mom 'I'm Praying for a Guardian Angel'
Lane Kiffin's mother tells TMZ Sports ... she's so worried about her son returning to Tennessee that she's "praying for a guardian angel" to keep him safe when Alabama takes on UT this weekend.
We spoke with Robin Kiffin ... who tells us simply, "I'm a mom. We worry."
Of course, fans of the University of Tennessee went berserk when Lane quit his job as their head football coach back in 2009 (after less than a year) for USC. People even hung Lane in effigy at the time.
And now with Lane returning to the campus as the offensive coordinator for Alabama, Robin tells us "I'm praying for a guardian angel ... a host of guardian angels."
"This is stressful. I've heard such horror stories ... people throwing batteries."
Robin says she's not planning to attend the game -- but will watch it on TV. She's also confident Lane is staying focused despite the media frenzy.
"I text Lane 'good luck' each week. If I said anything different this week, he would say I'm being ridiculous."

File under: "The Perils of Being 7-feet Tall" ... NBA legend Dikembe Mutombo had major trouble getting himself a rental car in D.C. this week ... because he didn't FIT in any of the rides!!!
You gotta watch the clip ... Dikembe was optimistic at first ... but quickly gets shot down at TWO DIFFERENT rental car desks that didn't have any whips big enough for the 7'2", 260-pounder.
Finally, Mutombo gets his hopes up at Avis ... but when he tries to get in the tiny Ford Taurus they tried to give him -- everyone realizes it ain't gonna happen.
The footage is hilarious ... but don't worry, this story comes with a happy ending.

Lionel Richie 'QUITE HONORED' Messi Was Named After Me
There would be no Lionel Messi ... without Lionel Richie ... and the singer tells TMZ Sports he was "quite honored" when he learned the soccer star was named in his honor.
Turns out, Messi's parents were huge Lionel Richie fans -- and named their son after the "Hello" singer back in 1987 ... one year after Richie released his double-platinum album "Dancing on the Ceiling."
So, when Richie was leaving Ago in West Hollywood last night -- we had to ask if the two had ever met to talk about it ... and we got a pretty interesting answer.
Check out the clip -- maybe we'll get a Lionel & Lionel duet in the near future???

Notre Dame wide receiver Justin Brent has serious game -- even though he hasn't scored on the field yet -- last night he bagged legendary porn star Lisa Ann in NYC.

Eric Dickerson The Rams Should Move Back to Los Angeles
Sorry St. Louis ... the Rams BELONG in Los Angeles -- so says Rams legend Eric Dickerson, who tells TMZ Sports he thinks it would be "fantastic" if his old squad packs up and heads west.
Of course, Dickerson played for the L.A. Rams from 1983 to '87 -- 7 years before they left for St. Louis -- but the NFL Hall of Famer says the Blue and Gold is an L.A. team at heart.
But he feels just as strong about the Raiders -- telling us that team needs to STAY IN OAKLAND!
It's a great clip -- Eric also explains why he feels bad for the people in the Black Hole.
DeAndre Jordan I Didn't See Blake Griffin Slap Anyone
A key witness has emerged in Blake Griffin's alleged slap scandal -- his teammate DeAndre Jordan who was WITH the L.A. Clippers star the night of the incident.
We spoke to DeAndre out in L.A. yesterday who told us he had NO IDEA Blake was being investigated by police for allegedly pulling a Zsa Zsa Gabor on a patron at Tao nightclub early Sunday morning.
As we previously reported, Jordan was partying with Blake and several other Clippers teammates that night -- but tells TMZ Sports he has no recollection of Blake whipping out the pimp hand that night.
As for Blake, the Las Vegas Metro Police Department says it's looking into the allegations -- but so far, no charges have been filed.
Pat Riley ESPN Will Regret Dissing Kobe
ESPN done messed up by dissing Kobe Bryant ... and they're gonna regret it ... so says Pat Riley.
TMZ Sports spoke with the NBA legend out in Malibu this week -- and Riley made it clear, the Mamba will have his revenge on the network for ranking him #40 on the list of the best players in the league.
Of course, Kobe took issue with the ranking himself -- calling ESPN a "bunch of idiots."
BONUS -- We also asked Riley about the key to maintaining his legendary hair ... and dude dished out some tips.
You're welcome.

Lane Kiffin No Special Police Protection ... For Tennessee Return
Lane Kiffin will NOT receive any special protection from the University of Tennessee PD when he returns to UT this weekend -- despite the fact everyone in the state hates his guts.
Kiffin -- who's now an offensive coordinator for Alabama -- is still despised in the Volunteer state for ditching the school in 2009 for USC after less than a year in the job.
But when he returns to TN for the first time this weekend, the UT Police Department tells TMZ Sports there will NOT be a special unit assigned to protect Lane or his family. Translation -- they don't feel Lane's safety is in any real danger.
Weird considering the UT student body hung Lane in effigy when he left the school -- and his own mother says she's extremely concerned for his safety in Knoxville this weekend.
Still, one law enforcement source tells us ... "He'll get what every typical coach would get."
Yeah, problem is ... not every "typical coach" has a wife who's actively TROLLING the UT fanbase on Twitter with Volunteer-themed jokes.
Here's one Layla Kiffin posted on Wednesday -- "Knock-knock. Who's there? #Orange. Orange who? Or'ange you glad we're coming back to Knoxville?"
We called Alabama to find out if the school would be providing extra protection to the Kiffin family -- but so far, radio silence from Tuscaloosa.

Adrian Peterson Judge I Ain't Goin' Nowhere
Prosecutors in the Adrian Peterson child abuse case have a tough fight ahead of them ... they tried to 86 the judge for trashing them ... and they just failed.
Another judge has ruled ... Judge Kelly Case will continue to preside in the trial ... even after calling the district attorney and Adrian's attorney "media whores."
TMZ broke the story ... the D.A. demanded and got an apology from the judge ... but they wanted more -- they wanted him off the case. Judge Case wouldn't budge, so prosecutors went to the wall with another judging ... claiming Case harbors a personal grudge against the D.A.
The second judge said prosecutors must show compelling evidence that Case is biased ... and they failed.
So Case is still on the case.

Dwyane Wade Plays 1-On-1 With 90-Year-Old ... Makes Us All Cry
This is just about the cutest damn thing you're gonna see all week ... Dwyane Wade turning a 90-year-old into a kid again ... by making her birthday wish of a 1-on-1 game come true.
The adorableness started when lluminadada Magtoto -- aka "Grandma Nelly" -- took to YouTube and challenged Wade to a mano a mano roundball duel to take place on her 90th birthday.
Dwyane got wind of her offer and, in awesome guy fashion, made her wish come true at Heat practice recently, shooting around with her and even finishing a lob she threw with a nice reverse lay up.
BONUS -- Wade even takes a dig at Mario Chalmers ... it's pretty funny.
Check out the video -- Magoto says she's wanted to meet Wade "all her life," (mathematically impossible) and watching her live her dream certainly made us all misty.
NHL Star Slava Voynov I DIDN'T BEAT MY WIFE ... Says Cops Misunderstood
L.A. Kings star Slava Voynov is adamant he did NOT attack his wife -- and claims cops simply misunderstood his wife's explanation for her injuries because she doesn't speak English.
TMZ Sports spoke with Slava's attorney Craig Renetzky, who tells us he met with Slava and his spoouse after the NHL star was arrested for domestic violence in L.A. on Monday -- saying the whole thing is a real-life case of "lost in translation."
Renetzky says he spoke with Voynov's wife using a Russian interpreter -- and "after this detailed interview, it became abundantly apparent to me that there was a misunderstanding by the police as to what actually occurred."
So what happened? We're told his wife is adamant she "fell down" ... and that's why neighbors heard her crying. Slava's attorney says she tried to explain that to police ... but cops got the wrong impression and arrested Slava.
"It is my hope that when the police conclude their investigation they will realize that there was no criminal activity on the behalf of Mr. Voynov," Renetzky tells us.
"Charges are not warranted in this case. My client is also hopeful that the NHL will conclude its investigation promptly and will likewise allow him to join his team."
