Donald Trump thinks Oscar Pistorius is getting off easy for killing his girlfriend -- saying the Olympian's 5-year prison sentence is absolutely "ridiculous."

Trump just posted a video about the sentencing on Instagram -- expressing his anger at the legal system in South Africa ... which will reportedly allow Pistorius to get out of prison after only serving 10 months.

Oscar spent Tuesday night in a single cell in the hospital wing of the South African prison -- because officials believe he suffers from extreme depression.

Blake Griffin has been accused of bitch-slapping a 39-year-old man inside a nightclub in Vegas this weekend ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Here's what we know ... a man named Daniel says he was partying at Tao nightclub in the Venetian in the early hours of October 19th when he tried to take a cell phone pic of the crowd.

According to a statement Daniel gave to Tao security, the man says Blake (who was partying at the club with his L.A. Clippers teammates) was bothered by the flash of the camera -- and "grabbed my phone with one hand."

Daniel says he didn't let go of the phone because his ID and credit card were attached to it -- so Blake grabbed his neck and began to squeeze while demanding Daniel give up his phone "or else."

According to the statement, the two eventually separated after Blake took the phone -- and when Daniel tried to ask for it back, Blake struck again ... grabbing his neck and squeezing for a second time.

Daniel says when security finally got to the scene -- Blake told them, "Get him the f**k out of this club."

Daniel says Blake then "slapped me in the right side of my face."

After he left the club, Daniel filed a battery report with the Las Vegas Metro Police Department. He says cops came to his hotel the next day and spoke with him for about an hour.

So far, attempts to reach Blake for comment have been unsuccessful.

Rose McGowan is not amused by the guy who decided to dress up as Ray Rice for Halloween -- telling TMZ Sports anyone who tries to mock that situation is downright "repulsive."

The actress was leaving the Arclight theater in Hollywood on Tuesday when we asked about the photo burning up the Internet -- featuring a man dressed as Rice carrying around a blowup doll that's supposed to be Janay Palmer.

The pic first surfaced on Reddit this month -- along with the caption, "Ladies were falling for my friend's Ray Rice costume."

Of course, Rose isn't the only star who's pissed about the situation -- but the question remains ... will the public outrage actually detour people from dressing up as Rice for Halloween??? We'll see ...

Say what you will about Justin Bieber ... the dude can play hockey.

Bieber hit the ice at the L.A. Kings Valley Ice Center and scored a goal that featured some impressive skating, impressive puck handling and an impressive shot at the end.

Honestly, it's pretty damn good ... and Bieber knew it -- 'cause afterward he tweeted, "My dangles were unreal ... did u see that shot? I'm number 20. #dangles #20 #iceicebaby #uthoughtthiswasagame #imadethatpuckmybitch."

Bieber's not just a hockey fanatic -- he's also into basketball, skating and now he's boxing with Floyd Mayweather.

In fact, boxing champ Andre Berto says he's worked with Bieber and says the guy is "crazy athletic."

There's a war raging in the NFL -- a fashion war -- with some of the biggest stars in the game spending BIG MONEY to customize their cleats for game day ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Huge stars like DeSean Jackson, Reggie Bush, Terrell Suggs and Cameron Wake have been taking their kicks to famous shoe artists ... and giving marching orders to make their cleats as swagged out and original as possible without violating the league's strict uniform policy.

We spoke with one of the biggest names in the cleat game Marcus Rivero (aka SolesBySir) -- who tells us in the last year he customized more than 300 PAIRS for stars looking to make an on-the-field fashion statement (check out some of his designs in the gallery below).

"It's really the only way they have left to express themselves," Rivero tells us ... "They can push the envelope with the cleats in ways they can't do with their uniform."

The customization process -- taking a plain pair of turf chewers and "re-imagining" them -- takes days and can cost between $400 to $1,000 dollars depending on the job.

But the final cost SKYROCKET if the NFL decides the design doesn't jive with league guidelines.

"It's $5,400 for a first time uniform violation. The athletes can appeal, but you know, there's still a chance [they'll get fined." Rivero says in addition to NFL rules, certain teams have their own uniform guidelines and will punish players who violate their policies.

In fact, back in 2011 ... the NFL fined Marshawn Lynch $10k for wearing Skittles-themed cleats during a game.

Still, Rivero says the risk is well worth it for some of the higher paid in the league -- "Every shoe is one of one, no duplicates. Never seen before, never seen again."

NBA Hall of Famer Mitch Richmond has a very clear message for Michael Sam -- don't give up -- telling TMZ Sports that he hopes Sam does everything he can to keep his NFL dream alive.

Richmond was out in Calabasas when our camera guy asked the 6-time All-Star and Cowboys fan about Sam being cut from the 'Boys practice squad to make room for another player.

U.S. Olympic hero Amy Van Dyken is once again making huge progress -- she's moved from walking with the help of robotic legs ... to peddling a stationary bike all on her own.

The gold medal winning swimmer was unable to move her legs after severing her spinal cord in an ATV accident in Arizona back in June. In October, doctors equipped her with an Indego exoskeleton to help her walk.

But this week, Van Dyken posted a video on the stationary bike, with the caption, "At PT. Was making this bike move all ON MY OWN!! #progress #werk."

Pretty amazing.

Michael Sam's dream of being the first openly gay player to start a regular season NFL game took a major hit today ... with the rookie DE being cut from the Dallas Cowboys practice squad.

Sam, who was signed to the Cowboys after failing to make the St. Louis Rams 53 man roster, was released earlier today after Dallas signed linebacker Troy Davis.

Moments ago, Sam spoke out about the move releasing a statement via his Twitter account.

"I want to think the Jones family and the entire Cowboys organization for their opportunity, as well as my friends, family, teammates, and fans for their support. While this is disappointing, I will take the lessons I learned here in Dallas and continue to fight for an opportunity to prove that I can play every Sunday."

Sorry baseball ... Floyd Mayweather is just not that into you.

In fact, Floyd's so indifferent about America's pastime, the legendary gambler is sitting out of one of the biggest sporting events of the year -- the World Series ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Porn star Brooke Haven -- star of "Assploitations 5" and "I Wanna Bang Your Mom" -- says she's hung out with TONS of athletes ... but there's ONE who parties harder than everyone else ... by far.

The war may be over -- but NY Knicks superfan Michael Rapaport couldn't help but take one last shot at Spike Lee ... and it was pretty hilarious.

Lee and Rapaport had been feuding for months over how to fix the problems in New York City -- Rapaport called Lee a "s**t stain" and Lee said Michael was "stupid."

But Michael recently told HuffPost Live they spoke on the phone and squashed the beef for good.
