WNBA legend Candace Parker is no doubt a pioneer in the art of lady jamming ... but the 6'4 future Hall of Famer tells TMZ Sports there's one female dunker who'd KICK HER ASS in a dunk off.

Parker was at LAX when our photog asked her about the potential of a WNBA dunk contest, and who she thinks would prevail in a battle of the best female high flyers in the league.

Check the clip -- Candace says that in her younger days she might have done it, but these days only one woman rules the rim.

Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle stole a tester bottle of Gucci Guilty Black cologne from a Dillard's department store Monday night ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Randle -- who's making nearly $500k this year -- was arrested for shoplifting ... and our sources say he's accused of boosting the cologne AND a 2-pack of black Polo underwear.

We're told store security footage captured the whole thing.

Randle was released from custody early Tuesday morning.

He once signed a $126 MILLION contract ... but former MLB pitcher Barry Zito could still use a few extra bucks -- which is why he's trying to rent out his S.F. mansion for $25k per month.

The ex-San Francisco Giants hurler has listed his 2-acre estate in Marin County, CA to rent or buy ... the latter will run you about $9 million.

The place is pretty sweet -- 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a wine cellar, pool, outside fire-place with seating area, a guest house ... and privacy, privacy, PRIVACY!!!

The former Cy Young winner bought the place in 2007 for $8.8 mil ... but clearly, he's over it.

L.A. Clippers star Matt Barnes has separated from his reality star wife Gloria Govan ... TMZ Sports has learned -- and sources close to the couple tell us it's all over "trust issues."

Barnes and Govan were married back in 2012 -- and have 5-year-old twin boys together.

Sources connected to the couple tell us Matt and "Basketball Wives: LA" star Gloria have been separated for about 6 weeks.

We're told they're still technically living in the same house -- but it's just temporary and it's just a matter of time before one of them moves out and they start the divorce process.

Maybe one of the biggest signs things were going south ... Matt hasn't posted a picture of Gloria on Instagram in months. And we haven't been able to find a picture of Gloria wearing her wedding ring since late-August.

NY Giants superstar Victor Cruz can rest a little easier ... 'cause one of the Jonas Brothers has his back ... when it comes to prayer.

Kevin Jonas was out in NYC with his wife Danielle -- when we talked about Kev's favorite NFL team ... the Giants ... who lost their big WR to a nasty knee injury on Sunday night.

25 days after Roger Goodell announced a financial partnership between the NFL and a national domestic violence support hotline, zero money has changed hands ... TMZ Sports has learned.

In the wake of the Ray Rice scandal, the NFL commish addressed the media on Sept. 19th and announced "long-term partnerships to provide financial, operational and promotional support" to the National Sexual Violence Resource Center and the National Domestic Violence Hotline.

But we've learned the deal with the National Domestic Violence Hotline is still NOT finalized ... which means the organization has yet to receive the fat NFL check it's been counting on.

We spoke with Katie Ray-Jones -- CEO of the National Domestic Violence Hotline -- who tells us the two sides are still in negotiations and are "moving in good faith."

A rep for the NDVH says the org. is confident a multi-year, multi-million dollar deal will be finalized in the near future.

The question -- what's the holdup?

Ray-Jones tells us, "it's complicated" ... but it has to do with "modifying the language" in the agreement between the two sides.

Here's the problem -- the NDVH has already hired 20 employees in the wake of the NFL's announcement -- since call volume has been up more than 75% since the Ray Rice incident.

Eventually, the org. is gonna need the NFL checks to start rolling in ... or else.

Andre Berto knows all about knockouts ... but the boxing stud says he knows a little something about knockers too -- telling TMZ Sports there's one pair in Hollywood that stand out above the rest ... BY FAR!!

Berto was at Greystone Manor in L.A. this weekend when our photog asked him (in honor of breast cancer awareness month) who has the wappiest wappers in all of Tinsel Town.

Jameis Winston is under investigation again ... this time for allegedly signing a bunch of sports memorabilia for a professional company which might have paid him -- a major no-no with the NCAA.

Winston reportedly signed more than 300 items that appear on the website for a company called James Spence Authentication. According to ESPN ... many of the items have sequential serial numbers which makes it seem like Jameis signed a large number of them at once.

Florida State University football coach Jimbo Fisher told reporters he believes his QB had signed the items for random fans ... and NOT for the company. FSU officials are now investigating.

JSA is the same company linked to Georgia running back Todd Gurley ... who got suspended indefinitely for allegedly getting paid.

Iggy Azalea is BLASTING her ex-boyfriend ... claiming the guy is LYING about being married to her to so he can get his hands on her fortune.

Boxing legend Leon Spinks -- who famously beat Muhammad Ali in 1978 -- is hospitalized in Las Vegas, TMZ Sports has learned ... and his friends say the situation is very serious.

Sources connected to the 61-year-old Olympic gold medal winner tell us ... Spinks underwent surgery this weekend for abdominal problems (his 2nd surgery for the issue) and there were complications during the surgery.

We're told the situation seemed dire at first ... but Spinks seems to be doing better.

Leon's wife issued a statement saying, "It's going to be a long road ahead, but he's strong and he's starting to recover."

Leon's good friend Tony Orlando -- the famous singer -- is asking people to "Please pray for my friend Leon Spinks" ... and said the boxer is "facing the greatest fight of his life."

The University of Arizona football program is rallying around kicker Casey Skowron -- after he started to receive death threats for missing the game-winning field goal against USC last week ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Skowron shanked a 36-yarder as time expired on Thursday -- resulting in U of A's first loss of the year ... and knocking the team out of the Top 10.

Skowron began receiving angry messages via Twitter ... one person wrote that she hopes Casey and his whole family "dies of cancer."

But TMZ Sports has spoken with multiple people from the U of A football program who tell us they have Skowron's back no matter what.

"We stand by him 110% percent," linebacker Scooby Wright III tells us ... "he is our kicker and most of all a great person and a great teammate."

We also spoke with Associate Athletic Director Molly Omara who tells us the people behind the threats are "just cowards who are targeting a 20-year-old student athlete."

Donald Trump is taking aim at the new Buffalo Bills owner Terry Pegula ... saying he's a LOSER who won't lead his team to a title.

Trump was in the running to buy the team, but was ultimately outbid by Pegula -- and this morning, Donald is saying the whole thing was a blessing in disguise.

"Even though I refused to pay a ridiculous price for the Buffalo Bills, I would have produced a winner. Now that won’t happen," Trump tweeted.

Trump added, "The people of Buffalo should be happy Terry Pegula got the team but I hope he does better w/the Bills than he has w/the Sabres. Good luck!"

Of course, Trump's referring to the Buffalo Sabres -- which Pegula also owns -- a team that flat out sucked over that past couple of seasons.

Another reason to love Magic Johnson: He's not forcing his kids to watch baseball -- even though he OWNS the Dodgers ... so says Magic's daughter Elisa.

The 19-year-old was out at a birthday party in Beverly Hills when we asked how her father was doing after the Blue Crew was bounced from the MLB playoffs earlier this month.

That's when Elisa hit us with a refreshing dose of honesty -- "My dad is probably doing really well ... I don't really watch baseball."

TMZ Sports has learned boxing champ Jermain Taylor has put his 39 acre Little Rock estate on the market -- the estate that happens to be at the center of a police investigation.

As we previously reported, Taylor was arrested back in August for shooting his cousin during a domestic dispute. At the time, Taylor claimed his cousin was an "intruder."

But the cousin lived -- so if you can get past the blood-stained history ... you can enjoy the 5,071 square feet of living space with 4 beds and 3.5 baths.
