Michael Jackson's son Prince is NOT on The Money Team ...despite what Floyd Mayweather believes ... at least that's what Jermaine Jackson told us yesterday.

Jermaine says there's a perfectly good explanation for why Prince Jackson was rolling around in a TMT truck -- but it has NOTHING to do with the fact he supports the boxer.

Fireworks in the Adrian Peterson child abuse case today ... as AP's lawyer demanded a rush order on the trial so the NFL star could get back on the field.

But here's the craziest part -- prosecutors asked the judge to RECUSE himself from the case because he recently referred to AP's lawyer Rusty Hardin as a "whore" ... specifically a "media whore."

The prosecutor says the judge also called HIM a "media whore" as well.

The judge was taken aback -- and insisted he was just trying to be funny when he made the comments ... but the prosecutor wasn't laughing and demanded an apology.

Get this ... THE JUDGE DID APOLOGIZE ... and then advised the prosecutor to file a formal request laying out his arguments as to why he should step down.

Hardin then chimed in ... "For the record, I don’t take offense to it judge. I’ve been called much worse."

Meantime, AP's lawyer told the judge he wanted to schedule the trial ASAP for 2 big reasons:

1) AP is unable to play in the NFL until this legal situation is resolved and he wants to get back on the field THIS SEASON.

2) He believes AP is "getting killed" in the media and can't fight back outside the courtroom.

He also says AP is "chomping at the bit" to defend himself publicly but has been advised by his lawyers to not fight the battle in the headlines.

The judge set a trial date for December 1st ... but AP's lawyer says he's going to push to move the date up to November if another case falls off the docket.

This is a VERY COOL moment caught on tape ... when NFL star Dwight Freeney meets up with Kobe Bryant -- and gives a bunch of kids in an after-school program the surprise of their lives!!!

It all went down in San Diego on October 6th -- Dwight took 10 kids from the After School All Stars program (helping at-risk youth) to watch the Lakers take on the Denver Nuggets.

But after the game, the gang went to a VIP area ... where they all got to meet The Black Mamba!!

Check out the clip -- the kids are pumped, Kobe's pumped, Dwight's pumped ... and they all took pics to memorialize the special moment.

It's got all the right genes ... a PGA dad and an NHL legend grandpa ... but are Dustin Johnson and Paulina Gretzky hoping their fetus takes up golf or hockey??

The newly engaged -- and newly pregnant -- couple were out at LAX yesterday when we asked ... if the kid goes pro in a sport -- are you hoping it picks up the clubs or the sticks?

You can tell Dustin's excited about his baby on the way -- but when we asked about the due date, he wouldn't get into specifics.

Ex-NFL star Larry Johnson's brawling ways got him 86'd from Miami's hottest nightclubs ... even BEFORE he got arrested because the guy's been making violent threats against club owners and promoters.

Sources in multiple MIA clubs tell TMZ Sports ... Johnson was banned earlier this year after folks around town started noticing his combative behavior. One source described him as a "walking time bomb."

We're told top celeb hangouts Mansion, Mokai, Set, Story and Liv (where the Miami Heat always hang out) ... all put the kibosh on Johnson, and he's clearly pissed about it. Just last week he posted (and then deleted) an Instagram saying he'd whoop the asses of club people.

We broke the story... Johnson was arrested Tuesday morning after cops say he attacked a man with broken glass inside a bar at the Delano Hotel.

Adrian Peterson did not use funds from his charity to pay for a hotel room where an orgy allegedly took place ... and claims he's never taken money from his charity for his own personal use.

The Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported this week, Peterson was accused of using a credit card linked to his charity to pay for a hotel room in 2011 for himself, his brother, his uncle and four women.

But a rep for Peterson's foundation tells TMZ Sports ... Peterson has never used a foundation credit card for any personal expenses. In fact, the rep says Peterson never even had a foundation credit card.

The report specifically names Peterson's uncle as the one who used the credit card on a hotel room in 2011 ... but the foundation rep says the uncle never had a card either.

Vikings player Tom Johnson says cops left out a big part of the story surrounding his arrest -- which is that officers physically assaulted him before taking him into custody ... and he's now come forward with video.

Johnson was arrested early Sunday morning in Minneapolis ... after police say he refused to leave a nightclub. Johnson was pepper sprayed, and eventually tased before they arrested him.

But Johnson's reps say there was no reason for officers to tase him ... and they feel that's obvious from this video the Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle shot on his phone. In the clip ... Johnson is recording 2 officers as they leave the club, and he asks them, "Do you feel good about it?"

He's referring to the fact he had just been pepper sprayed. One cop responds, "Got your ID on you?"

Johnson's reps say right after that ... the cop "slapped Johnson's hand and arm knocking his cell phone to the ground and shattering the screen." They say the officer tased him when Johnson reached for the phone.

The police report says Johnson was tased because he was "uncooperative."

The man who claims he was attacked by ex-NFL star Larry Johnson says he needed 7 stitches to close up a BLOODY GASH on his arm ... after Johnson sliced him open with broken glass.

We broke the story Johnson was arrested for attacking another man inside the Delano Hotel in Miami Beach early Tuesday morning ... and now, TMZ Sports has pics of the alleged victim's injuries.

"He wailed on me for a good two minutes before security came over," the man -- who asked to keep his ID private -- tells us.

"I couldn’t get back up on my feet – so it wasn’t even a fight. He just wailed on me – and used a tall broken vodka glass that got knocked over when I fell down [to attack me]."

The man continues ... "I was able to cover my face – but I’m covered in cuts on the side of my neck, cut the back of my hand, and had to get 7 stitches for the gash on my arm."

The man says he had NEVER met Johnson before the incident -- despite reports to the contrary -- and says he has no idea why LJ would attack him in the first place.

L.A. Clippers star DeAndre Jordan says he would NEVER buy a pair of Nick Cannon's $2 million diamond studded shoes ... because his feet are so much bigger, it would run him an EXTRA million!

UFC fighter Dennis Bermudez tells TMZ Sports ... fellow UFC star Cody Gibson took the "smart approach" by not murdering the guy who punched him in a Vegas bar ... because if Cody would've punched back, he'd be in jail right now.

Bermudez -- ranked #8 in UFC featherweights -- was out in NYC yesterday and told it to us straight ... "If you're an MMA fighter and you get into a street fight and you put hands on the guy ... you're going to jail."

Of course, Cody tackled his assailant to the ground after he was slugged in the grill at point blank range -- but never threw a punch. Eventually, the fight was broken up by security.

Bermudez says he deals with drunk idiots at bars all the time who wanna pick fights with UFC guys to test their manhood ... but says there are tricks to getting out of the situation without a violent ending.

Iggy Azalea was standing by her man Monday ... even when he couldn't ... escorting Lakers star Nick Young out of a medical building following surgery on his thumb.

Besides his GF, Nick's parents were also there as he was wheeled into a waiting ride in L.A. -- after undergoing surgery to repair the torn radial collateral ligament in his right thumb.

Despite the fact he'll be out for 8 weeks, we're told Young was still smiling on his way out of the surgical center ... possibly because he'll still be raking in paychecks from his new 4-year $21 million contract.

That'll make ya feel better.

Aries Spears says he will NOT apologize for cracking a gay joke about Michael Sam on ESPN last week -- telling TMZ Sports, "There's nothing to apologize for. It's a joke."

Spears was at LAX Monday -- and acknowledged he ruffled some feathers when he appeared on "Sportsnation" and said, "I went out and got my first Michael Sam jersey. It's got 15 S's on the back."

"Disney runs [the network]," Spears told us ... "They got their guidelines."

But Spears was adamant that he did NOTHING wrong -- saying he likes Michael Sam ... wishes him well in the NFL ... and was just being funny, NOT malicious.

Michael Strahan punched his ticket Monday night for the SMOKE SHOW ... as in the ridiculously hot chick he was out with in New York City.

Strahan was in full swag mode -- stepping out of his Bentley -- with a brunette AND a blonde, but as the group strolls into the Mercer Hotel, it's pretty obvious the brunette is THE CHICK ... and the blonde is just the friend.

TMZ has learned the brunette is Marianna Hewitt -- an Internet makeup blog host and former beauty queen -- and in the vid you see her start to hold Michael's arm (like a gf would) ... but then quickly stop herself.

We're told it's nothing serious though ... at most just a date. For now. This would be Michael's first public relationship since he and Nicole Murphy broke off their engagement.

The South African stallion was making his way through NYC Monday when he told us about his incredible fitness regimen ... a regimen that landed him on the cover of ESPN's Body Issue in 2013.

And it's clear from the video ... even as he's pushing 80, Player has no intention of slowing down anytime soon.

Ex-NFL superstar Larry Johnson -- once one of the highest paid players in the NFL -- was arrested in Miami Beach early Tuesday morning after allegedly attacking another man with a broken bottle.

The police report, obtained by TMZ Sports, reads like a scene out of a bad '80s fight movie -- where Johnson allegedly got pissed at another patron at the club inside the Delano Hotel for "taking drinks from his table."

The alleged victim told police Johnson punched him in the face, sending him to the ground ... and then "broke a bottle on the table and began swinging it toward him."

According to the police report, the victim told cops Johnson then punched him in the face a few more times while he was on the ground.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. According to police, at some point during Johnson's arrest, he told the officers he used to play for the Miami Dolphins.

Johnson last played in the NFL in 2011, but made his mark mostly as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs and still holds the record for most rushing attempts in a season.

Watch and listen carefully to this clip and you'll hear the timer expire on V. Stiviano's 15 minutes of fame.

Donald Sterling's BFF did her best Saturday night to get into Hollywood hot spot 1Oak, but security wasn't having it. She tried phoning a friend, but that didn't seem to work either.

Maybe the staff just didn't recognize her without her trademark visor -- but V. should clearly stick to places where she's V.I.P. ... like Sterling's house.
