3 months after his NBA dreams were dashed when he was diagnosed with Marfan Syndrome, Isaiah Austin is back on the court ... proving he's STILL one of the most explosive players in the country.

The 20-year-old 7-footer -- who was projected to be a 1st round pick in the 2014 NBA Draft -- pulled out the video camera and recorded himself doing a Eastbay Dunk recently ... and it's NASTY!!!!

Austin hung up the sneaks due to the diagnosis because the syndrome can affect the heart -- and overexerting himself on a consistent basis can have fatal consequences.

But apparently Isaiah feels one RIDICULOUS dunk every once in a while can't hurt ... especially when the dunk is so damn impressive.

FYI -- Austin has re-enrolled at Baylor, where he was one of the best players in the country, and is working on taking up the offer Adam Silver made at the draft ... that Austin would have an NBA office job as soon as he got his degree.

Aside from his studies, Austin is working as a "student assistant" with the basketball team -- and it's obvious the kids could learn a lot from this dude.

Dez Bryant is one-upping Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson ... 'cause the Cowboys WR crashed a high school homecoming dance this past weekend ... and the kids went NUTS!!!

It all went down at the Gaylord Hotel in Grapevine, TX -- just outside of Dallas -- where a group of high school kids were getting ready to leave the dance when a black Bentley rolled up.

We spoke with Kevin -- one of the kids in the group -- who tells us when thy realized the man in the car was #88, they started "throwing up the X" -- Dez's signature TD celebration ... and he came over to hang out.

"We all freaked out and asked for a picture," Kevin says ... who tells us Dez was super-nice to everyone and struck pose after pose until everyone got a pic.

"He was an awesome guy ... and extremely kind to all of us."

Hannah Davis has a heart of gold -- she gave some out-of-work guy the time of day and a cup of joe today in NYC.

The S.I. swimsuit hottie walked out of a coffee shop in the West Village with the guy ... who was dressed in ratty jeans and a t-shirt. She even allowed the idle dude to chat her up for a while.

Clearly, he has nothing to do with his time.

Hannah was also flaunting a ring on her left hand. It doesn't appear to be an engagement ring, but she probably just wants the guy to think she's taken.

Former NFL star Charlie Garner told police he was "chasing a b*tch" on the night he was arrested for DUI ... and that's why he didn't know where he was ... this according to the police report obtained by TMZ Sports.

The 42-year-old ex-Pro Bowler -- who played RB for the 49ers, Eagles, Bucs and Raiders -- was arrested in Tampa, FL on Sept. 22 after cops say they found him passed out behind the wheel of a Chevy Malibu around 2AM.

According to the report, the responding officer had to shake Garner vigorously to wake him up -- and when he came to, he reeked of booze.

When asked if he'd been drinking, Garner replied ... "It's not about ... the drink ... it's about being up." The cop says Garner indicated he'd been up for three days.

Garner told police he was not from around the area and was staying with his ex-GF in North Tampa. According to the report, "[Garner] advised that he was chasing a 'b*tch,' got lost and could not tell me where he was."

Cops say Garner eventually bombed several field sobriety tests and was arrested for DUI.

He was released several hours later on $500 bond.

Michael Strahan will be playing a STRIPPER in the upcoming "Magic Mike" sequel ... in a bona fide acting role ... but if you're expecting to see the G-Man's little man, you're going to be sorely disappointed.

Our stripper sources tell us ... the NFL Hall of Famer will "definitely be topless" in the movie, but "anything below the waist is still being discussed."

Not everyone was laughing at Jay Pharoah's impersonation of Shannon Sharpe on "SNL" this weekend -- especially not the former NFL star ... who say's Jay's impersonation was "horrible."

Jay played Shannon during a skit for the show's cold open -- in which Shannon and Ray Lewis were discussing the issues with the NFL ... including the issue of domestic violence.

During the sketch, Jay portrayed Shannon as a bumbling, confused imbecile ... who couldn't take a stand on the NFL issues because of his own legal issues in the past.

For the record, Sharpe was accused of stalking and raping a woman back in 2010 -- but he was never arrested or charged with a crime ... and the accuser eventually dropped her case.

So, when asked how he felt about the "Saturday Night Live" sketch, it probably wasn't a shock when he wrote, "That was a horrible impression."

Sharpe also publicly agreed with a fan who said, "@JayPharoah did was NOT FUNNY HE IS NO @FrankCaliendo He made it seem like you were not educated the way he was talking."

He's made plenty of circus catches, but AJ Green has other circus skills too ... THE DUDE CAN JUGGLE.

The Cincinnati Bengals superstar wide receiver showed off his hidden talent on an NFL produced web series called, "Tough Season 2" ... where he juggled a ring, a baton and a ball -- AT THE SAME DAMN TIME!!

It might be the most special of all the Derek Jeter tributes -- TMZ Sports has learned the legendary Carnegie Deli in NYC will now offer a $28 sandwich to honor the Yankees captain.

So, what does one get for $28?

A rep for the deli tells us ... the "Derek Jeter Triple Club Sandwich" comes piled high with 2 classic meats (because he's #2) -- turkey and bacon.

Plus, several slices of American cheese -- with tomato and lettuce ... served on toasted white bread.

Mmmmmmmm.

The deli rep adds, "We chose American Cheese because nothing is more American than baseball."

Tony Stewart says he has not spoken with Kevin Ward Jr.'s family -- and doesn't feel he needs to -- explaining that he already has closure because he knows the deadly crash was an accident.

43-year-old Stewart just took questions from reporters ... and said he's offered to speak with Kevin's family but explained, "I don't need to talk to them for closure."

"I know what happened and I know that it was an accident."

Tony says, "I'm willing to talk to [Kevin's family] if it helps them ... I'm available if and when they want to talk."

Tony says he regrets choosing to race on August 9th -- and says he wishes he never got in the car.

"The first 3 or 4 days [after the accident], I didn't want to see anybody," Stewart said ... explaining that he basically went into seclusion following the incident.

He also says he doesn't know when he will race again -- but says today's news conference is a huge step toward re-entering the racing world.

With the Denver Broncos off this weekend, John Elway decided to blow off some steam by jetting to Vegas to party with his wife ... and some little people ... TMZ Sports has learned.

After spending some time in L.A., the Broncos' Vice President of Football Operations hit up Sin City this weekend -- where he sat VIP at Beacher's Madhouse in the MGM Grand.

Elway's wife Paige Green -- a former Oakland Raiders cheerleader -- was there as the couple watched a variety of crazy acts ... including the world's oldest strippers and a performance by Mini-Kanye West and Mini-Psy.

We're told Elway had a blast -- and took photos with some of the mini-performers.

Perfect way to forget about losing to the Seahawks ... for the second time in a row.

Former NBA star Doug Christie was SO PISSED when his wife leaked a topless photo to the Internet earlier this year, he almost ended the marriage ... so says Jackie Christie.

The "Basketball Wives: LA" star was out in Hollywood this weekend when she admitted to TMZ Sports that she was the person responsible for the topless getting onto the web back in June ... but swears it was an accident.

Still, Jackie says Doug was so mad about the debacle, that "[he] almost left me."

Check out the clip ... Jackie blames the whole thing on an Instagram screw-up -- but her story seems a bit fishy.

Apparently Derek Jeter CAN do wrong in the eyes of Yankees fans ... so says Jerry Seinfeld who tells TMZ Sports ... #2 should NOT have played his final game in Boston!!!

It's a pretty big issue in the Yanks community -- a lot of New Yorkers believe Jeter should've hung up his cleats after his last game at Yankees Stadium last week ... and NOT played out the final games of the season at Fenway against the Red Sox.

Clearly, Seinfeld thinks Jeter chose poorly ... saying, "He should NOT have played in Boston. You don't owe anybody ANYTHING!"

Of course, Jeter got a standing ovation in Beantown ... with the crowd chanting his name ... but according to Jerry, the storybook ending went on a few pages too long.

At least three people were killed during a monster truck event in the Netherlands Sunday when a driver lost control of his vehicle and plowed into a crowd of people.

The monster truck had just completed routine trick -- where it drives over several parked cars -- when it veered left, taking out a guard rail and dozens of spectators who were standing behind it.

The mayor of the town where the event took place told media that 3 people were killed -- including one child -- and 15 other people were injured.

One of the event organizers told local news he believes the problem could have stemmed from one of two things -- either the gas pedal got stuck or the brakes failed.

The driver is reportedly being questioned by police.
