Dennis Rodman is NOT en route to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria to engage in peace talks ... contrary to a ridiculous report that almost seemed believable ... because ... well ... he's Rodman.

Earlier this week a story surfaced saying Rodman told was on his way to the airport to leave for the Middle East when he said, “I think if I could just talk with the leaders of ISIS they would see the errors of their ways."

But Rodman's rep says the report is total crap ... telling TMZ Sports the retired basketball player is in Hong Kong for business meetings.

The Diesel hit up Fred's In Tigerland near the LSU campus Thursday night -- his old stomping ground -- when he decided he wanted to jump on stage with a local band and jam out to a rock song.

We're told ... Shaq told the band to "follow my lead" ... and then busted out some Jovi.

As you can see in the clip, the crowd went NUTS ... and Shaq jumped around on stage like a maniac while screaming the lyrics at the top of his lungs.

The best part -- we're told Shaq was dead sober for the whole thing ... not one drop of alcohol.

But we all know Shaq's comfortable when it comes to performing on stage ... right Kobe?

Seems Florida State University has finally realized their 2-quarter suspension was a JOKE -- and now FSU has decided to pull Jameis Winston from the ENTIRE GAME this weekend as punishment for his "F**k her right in the p**sy" outburst this week.

As we previously reported, the Heisman Trophy winner got into hot water after climbing onto a lunch table on campus and screaming the phrase in front of tons of students ... who immediately tweeted about it.

Initially, FSU announced Winston would be suspended a whole 2 quarters when the Seminoles faced Clemson this weekend.

But after taking heat from critics who accused the school of dishing out B.S. justice so the school could have a shot at winning, officials have decided to double his punishment.

"Based upon the results of our continuing investigation of Tuesday's incident involving Jameis Winston, we have decided to not play him for the entire game against Clemson on Saturday night," interim Florida State president Garnett S. Stokes and athletic director Stan Wilcox said in a joint statement Friday night.

The UFC has fired Thiago Silva ... again ... after footage of the fighter holding a GUN and accusing his wife of hiding a man in the house surfaced online.

The footage was shot by Silva's estranged wife Thaysa in early 2014 ... when Thiago pulled out a pistol and began threatening her because he believed she had another man in their home.

At one point in the video, Thaysa says she's recording so officials would have proof in case he killed her that day.

Of course, Silva was recently let off the hook in Florida -- where he was accused of pulling a gun on Thaysa at a martial arts studio and threatening to kill her in February -- because prosecutors said they didn't have enough evidence to get a conviction.

UFC honcho Dana White had initially banned Silva from fighting in the octogon ever again ... but reinstated him when charges were dropped.

Now, with this new footage coming to light ... White has fired Silva again. We're guessing Thiago has finally run out of of second chances.

Thaysa told a Brazilian media outlet that she has moved on from Thiago -- and is now living in Abu Dhabi with "a real man by my side."

The guy who crashed Roger Goodell's NFL news conference is apologizing for screaming "DON'T PUT ME IN THE ELEVATOR" in the middle of the event ... and it's the worst apology ever.

You know Benjy Bronk from the "Howard Stern Show" -- and at Friday's NFL news conference, he did what he always does at high-profile events ... obnoxiously heckled the speaker.

For the record, it was hilarious ... and Benjy was physically escorted out by security.

Moments later, we spoke with Bronk who told us he felt bad and wanted to apologize to Goodell himself ... though it seems less than heartfelt.

Transgender MMA fighter Fallon Fox is firing back at UFC champ Ronda Rousey -- telling her to cut out the excuses about "bone structure" ... and FIGHT HER ALREADY!!!

Fox -- who was born a man -- is clearly upset with Rousey for saying it's "unfair" for Fallon to fight against naturally born women because she has a biological advantage.

FYI -- Fox beat her last female opponent so badly, the challenger suffered a broken orbital bone, needed 7 staples in her head and may have had a concussion.

But Fox says Rousey's argument is BS ... saying, "I really wish Ronda would stop with the ridiculous bone structure arguments. That was so last year."

She added, "[Rousey] should tell her boss to put me in that octagon over there at UFC."

In her statement, which she posted on Facebook, Fox continues ... "I'm quite sure that there are quite a few female MMA fighters who have guts to fight another skilled woman without peeing their panties and saying 'No, I wouldn't fight her!'"

"I think they may be a little more mentally tough and say, 'I'll fight a trans woman, just like I'll fight a lesbian woman or a black woman Etc.'"

Fox says certain fighters use the "bone density" argument to "possibly save face" if they lose to her in the ring.

The reality star and parenting expert -- who recently worked with Peterson on an EpiPen promotional campaign -- says she was "very saddened" when she saw how AP disciplined his child ... and felt compelled to help.

Frost says she strongly believes she can teach Peterson how to be an effective parent WITHOUT using violence -- and has contacted both the NFL and Peterson to offer her expertise.

Ronda Rousey tells TMZ Sports ... she believes transgender MMA fighter Fallon Fox has an "unfair advantage" over naturally born women -- but she'd still kick her ass anyway.

Rousey was at LAX when we asked about Fallon -- a post-op transgender who was born a man and now fights with the women.

FYI -- Fox has won her last two fights ... and beat her last opponent so badly, she reportedly suffered a concussion, a broken orbital bone and required 7 staples in her head (video below).

Rousey -- the reigning female UFC champ -- says she's done a lot of research on the situation ... and ultimately feels Fox needs to be fighting with the men -- especially with the damage she's inflicting.

Police went to Ray McDonald's house back in May ... when a woman pulled a gun on a man in the San Francisco 49er's house.

San Jose cops just released an incident report describing the altercation between an "engaged couple" on the evening of May 25th. According to the doc ...while the couple was arguing the woman grabbed a firearm and held it at her side. The man then told her he was going to call 911 -- and she ran out of the house.

Cops say the woman did not make any threats or point the gun at her fiance. The report doesn't mention McDonald's name.

McDonald was arrested in August by San Jose police for a felony domestic violence incident involving his pregnant fiancee. The 49ers have said McDonald will remain active while he goes through the legal process.
