War Machine has now been transferred to Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas where he will faces charges in the alleged beating of porn star Christy Mack.

As TMZ first reported, the former MMA fighter was captured at a hotel in the Los Angeles area after he avoided police for days following the alleged beating of Mack and her new boyfriend at her home in Las Vegas.

NFL safety Quintin Demps knows firsthand about the price of rookie hazing ... his initiation into the big boys league didn't cost him his pride or dignity ... it cost him a boat load of money.

The New York Giant was out recently when we asked him about what every first year player is going through right now ... rookie hazing.

Demps says he was a rookie under Andy Reid, so the hazing was kept to a minimum ... with the exception of an insanely pricey meal ... and some takeout chicken.

Lakers star Nick Young thought he was gonna go into real-life survival mode after hearing that a real "purge" was going down in Chicago ... telling TMZ Sports, "I thought I was gonna have to shoot a couple people."

Of course, the "Purge" rumors were just a hoax -- with people trying to scare the public into thinking the "everything is legal for 24 hours including murder" plot from the "Purge" movies was going down in 2 major cities.

But Young didn't know it was a joke on Tuesday -- and tweeted as if it were real ... saying, "So they got a real life purge in Chi-town and Milwaukee that's crazy. We need to wake up for real if that's true."

Here ye, here ye ... Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union are swapping "I dos" today in a famous MOATED CASTLE hidden away in Miami, FL ... TMZ Sports has learned.

The place is called "Chateau Artisan" -- considered one of the coolest pieces of property in the country ... and it's also where Birdman shot his 2010 music video for "Fire Flame."

Dwyane and Gabby have been going to extreme lengths to make sure their wedding is super private ... which is why this ultra-guarded estate PROTECTED BY A MOAT appealed to the couple.

We broke the story ... the couple is making their guests sign confidentiality agreements -- and have also banned social media from the event.

As for the property -- we're talkin' 19,000 square feet, 8 bedrooms, 7.5 baths ... and sits on 14 acres.

Sources tell us workers have been on the property for the past couple of weeks making sure the place looks PERFECT for the couple's big day.

Dwyane Wade's wedding will be classical ... with a hint of Michael Jordan ... because he hired the famous hip hop violinist that MJ signed to Jordan Brand back in 2009 .... TMZ Sports has learned.

We've learned ... D-Wade and Gabby reached out to Lee England Jr. -- the very first non-athlete to sign with Jordan Brand -- and asked him to perform at some point in the evening.

England Jr. -- known as the "Michael Jordan of the Violin" -- is no stranger to celebrity events ... he performed at Donald Trump's NYC penthouse 3 times last year and is a regular at NBA games.

David Beckham didn't walk away clean from that motorcycle accident after all -- we just saw him at LAX with his hand in a cast.

Becks held up his damaged right mitt as he walked into the terminal with his kids, and photogs asked how he was feeling after laying down his bike on Sunset Boulevard yesterday.

We broke the story ... Beckham was leaving a tattoo parlor when he swerved to avoid paparazzi, according to our Becks sources -- which explains why he didn't feel like saying much to paps about his cast.

The 49ers will be without superstar linebacker Aldon Smith for the first 9 games of the season -- because the NFL has just suspended #99 for raising hell off the field.

The NFL announced the penalty moments ago -- saying Smith violated the league's substance abuse and personal conduct policy.

The league was not specific about which incidents Smith is being punished for (he's been in trouble a lot lately) ... but it's likely the move is tied to Smith's recent plea deal in Santa Clara, CA.

As we previously reported, Smith was sentenced to 12 days in jail in a case involving a DUI (from 2013) and weapons charges (from 2012).

The LAPD is investigating a "possible domestic dispute" between USC football player Josh Shaw and his GF ... which they believe may have happened on the night Shaw injured his ankles.

As TMZ Sports first reported, a witness called cops last Saturday night after seeing a person "shimmying" down the side of an apartment building in downtown L.A. around 10:40 PM.

Now, cops are saying the witness also reported hearing a woman screaming in the moments before the man scaled down the building.

When cops arrived to the apartment, no one answered the door -- so they broke it down and found a window that had been pried open.

A woman who lives in the unit eventually returned -- and told cops the description of the man seen jumping out of the window sounded a lot like her boyfriend Josh Shaw.

Cops say the woman "did not indicate she was the victim" of domestic violence.

Shaw 's attorney previously told TMZ Sports the football player is adamant there was NO domestic violence.

Usain Bolt took over a nightclub in London this week -- hijacking the DJ booth to help one of his famous friends celebrate a HUGE night on the soccer pitch ... and we've got the video.

It all went down at Chinawhite nightclub -- where Bolt was partying with Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez ... who had scored his first goal with the world-famous squad earlier that night.

But according to multiple reports, her brown horse (named Uniek) wasn't in the jumping mood -- and ruined the run.

Don't worry ... MKO got on another horse (named Swagger) who seemed more up for the challenge.

As for Olsen's twin sister -- she has yet to be seen at the event.

Luckily she didn't fall off the horse and get amnesia this time.

David Beckham is not perfect (SHOCKER!!!) ... he lost control of his motorcycle in the middle of Sunset Boulevard, but walked away unscathed.

Beckham was leaving the famous Shamrock Tattoo in West Hollywood Thursday when he lost control of his motorcycle -- a custom-built Super Vintage 93" Knuckle -- and tumbled off in the middle of the street.

We're told Beckham recruited a few friends from the tattoo parlor to help him roll it back to the store.

Sources close to Beckham tell TMZ the accident happened when he swerved to avoid the paparazzi.

Becks has a history with fender benders ... he crashed his Range Rover last year while pulling out of his Beverly Hills driveway.

Lance Armstrong has a pretty cool ally -- the bassist from Rage Against the Machine ... who's vouching that Armstrong still "rules" and says it's time for people to get over the P.E.D. scandal.

TMZ Sports spoke with Tim Commerford -- who's gotten pretty serious about cycling over the years -- and he told us that Armstrong was his "pit crew guy" during a recent race in Colorado.

"[He] took care of me and fed me and hydrated me ... trained with me and all that. It was an awesome experience."

And get this ... Commerford says despite the cheating and all the other bad stuff Armstrong 'fessed up to, he still thinks Lance is an inspiring guy and deserves a second chance with the American public.

As for Lance, he's taken a self deprecating approach in the hopes to change his image ... and recently got props from the cops for helping spread the word about a bike thief.
