Ohio State QB Braxton Miller is out of shoulder surgery -- after a season-ending injury to his labrum last week -- and woke up to a get-well note from LeBron James.

Miller -- who was considered one of the top college QBs in the country -- hurt himself during football practice ... and scheduled a surgery with legendary orthopedic doc James Andrews who has famously worked on huge stars like Tom Brady, Drew Brees and even Bo Jackson.

“Me & the best to do it , Dr. Andrews after surgery today," Miller wrote on Instagram ... adding, "So happy this man said everything went well!"

As for LeBron -- he went to Instagram to send some love to his fellow Ohioan ... writing, "Excited and Happy my lil bro @braxtonmiller92 surgery went great! Thanks to the best Dr. Andrews!"

Bron continued, "You'll be better than ever. Have a speedy and full recovery bro. See you soon! #GoBucks #OH #IO"

It's the breast fight you're gonna see all week ... a bench-clearing RUMBLE at a Legends Football League game -- which culminated in a linebacker SOCKING an opposing coach!!!

It all went down in Vegas where the Atlanta Steam defeated the Jacksonville Breeze 20 to 12 in an overtime thriller.

But things hit a boiling went when one of the Jacksonville players got into it with a member of the Steam -- and called her a "p***y a** b**ch."

That's when the benches cleared ... the fists began to fly ... and Jacksonville's Adrian Purnell punched Atlanta Steam head coach Dane Robinson right in the face.

Security jumped in an tried to break it up -- but the women were out for blood.

It appears one of the women even swings her helmet at an opposing player -- which would almost certainly warrant an automatic suspension if it happened in the NFL.

Who dat???? Dat's Drew Brees' brand new baby daughter!

The 35-year-old New Orleans Saints quarterback skipped practice Monday to be with his wife Brit who went into labor earlier in the day.

Few hours later and BOOM -- brand new member of the Brees brood.

Drew tweeted an adorable pic along with the caption, "Spent the early morning with our new baby girl! Brit and she are happy, healthy, and doing great! Gods greatest gift!"

So far, no word on the kid's name.

It's the couples 4th child together -- and their first little girl.

Floyd Mayweather came to the rescue this weekend -- consoling a 6-year-old boxing phenom after the kid suffered a devastating defeat in a game of musical chairs ... and we've got the footage.

Floyd was sitting courtside at the 4th annual Ball Up Streetball Championship in Vegas on Saturday where a couple of kids participated in some musical chairs in between quarters.

The kid lost -- Floyd jumped out of his seat and gave the kid a hug. It was a very nice moment.

But get this ... the kid is a serious boxing prodigy!!! His name is Famous J and he trains with Floyd's uncle Roger Mayweather ... and he's QUICK!!!

Indy superstar Helio Castroneves tells TMZ Sports ... there was a moment during the Napa earthquake where he thought he was seriously going to die -- calling the experience the "scariest thing of my life."

The former "Dancing with the Star" champ says he was sleeping in a hotel in Napa Valley when the shaking began -- and it jolted him out of a deep sleep.

Castroneves says he was so discombobulated when he woke up -- he forgot he was in a hotel, and thought he was in an airplane that was crashing.

"I thought, 'That's it.'"

Chris Bosh has struck again.

For some reason (we're still trying to figure this out) the Heat star decided to attend the Emmys with his wife last night ... and decided to amuse himself by photobombing one of the most famous actors in the world, Matt McConaughey.

Of course, Bosh is somewhat of a photobombing pro ... the guy targeted teammates during post-game interviews almost every week last season.

But don't worry, Bosh showed off his fancy side too -- showing off his white jacket (with a white Rolls to match) before the awards.

Former NFL superstar Albert Haynesworth dumped a bucket of ice cold water on a transient who posted up in front of his burger joint ... after the guy allegedly harassed several female patrons ... and TMZ Sports has the footage.

Haynesworth -- who famously signed a $100 million contract with the Redskins in 2009 -- now owns the BurgerFi restaurant in Knoxville, TN ... right near the University of Tennessee campus.

She already swam from Cuba to Florida ... and now super athlete Diana Nyad tells TMZ Sports she has a brand new goal -- she wants to pull a Forrest Gump and trek across the USA by foot!!

Nyad was out in L.A. on Monday where she's getting ready to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of her historic swim -- when she told us all about her big plans.

"I just decided ... two years from now, I'm going to walk across America ... and get 1 million people to do it with me!"

And what's her motivation? Diana says she wants to whip America's fat asses into shape!!!

Mario Andretti's Napa Valley winery was hit pretty hard by the 6.0 earthquake this weekend -- but TMZ Sports has learned the racing legend has already picked up the pieces and reopened his biz!

FYI -- The Andretti Winery is located just 6 miles from the epicenter ... and when the shaking began, hundreds of bottles went crashing to the floor. We're told the place lost about 30 cases in the quake.

But CEO Joe Antonini tells us ... they didn't sit around and feel sorry for themselves -- they cleaned up the winery and yesterday they reopened their doors -- "We're good to go!"

Other wineries in the area weren't so lucky -- with some businesses reporting HALF of their wine stock was lost in the quake.

As for Mario -- we're told in he was in the area during the shaking and later went to the winery to survey the damage ... but he's since returned home to Pennsylvania where the ground's a little more stable.

The entire L.A. Clippers squad got a helluva surprise at Jamal Crawford's wedding this weekend -- when Sir Mix-a-Lot hit the dance floor and busted out a live performance of "Baby Got Back!"

The whole thing was awesome -- besides the surprise performance, nearly the entire Clippers team flew in to Seattle to support their teammate ... from Blake Griffin to CP3 and Matt Barnes.

And the they weren't exactly wall-flowers ... all of the guys hit the dance floor HARD -- showing off their moves in a kick-ass reception that looked more like a scene out of a Hollywood nightclub!

Ex-MMA star War Machine took a stab at a porn career after he was kicked out of the UFC -- but was quickly blacklisted after beating up several porn people ... so says XXX star Brooke Haven.

Haven tells TMZ Sports ... she invited Mr. Machine to her birthday party back in 2009 after they performed a sex scene together.

But when he got to the party, Haven says someone hit on the fighter's date -- and things got violent ... quick.

According to Haven, Machine didn't just ruin the party -- he ruined his shot at a porn career ... because after the "massacre," no one wanted to work with the guy again.

Tampa Bay Buc rookie wide receiver Mike Evans was DETAINED by Miami Beach PD after a nightclub fight in March ... after he was KICKED OUT of the club ... cops tell TMZ Sports.

We broke the story ... Evans -- the #7 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft -- was involved in an insane brawl outside Dream nightclub on March 15th ... and could be seen throwing punches at multiple people.

Now, the Miami Beach PD tells TMZ Sports ... the whole thing started after Evans was THROWN OUT of the club -- along with 2 other individuals.

You know you're a HUGE celebrity when ... an NYPD officer personally escorts you from the "Today" show to your waiting ride -- just like what happened with Little League phenom Mo'Ne Davis.

Mo'Ne and the rest of her Taney Dragons teammates were leaving the studio Monday morning and heading to the team bus when we noticed TWO people assigned to watch the 13-year-old's back -- one of whom was an NYPD cop.

After Davis and the squad got on the bus -- TMZ Sports spoke with the Dragons coach Leland Lott who told us he was proud of the ENTIRE squad and said they were on the way to celebrate with an MLB team.

So, what's next for Davis? Basketball -- another sport she dominates ... as seen in this ankle-breaking video from 2010.

The gas station robbery fight was NO FLUKE -- Mayura Dissanyake has serious MMA skills and he proved it in the ring last night by destroying his opponent in less than 20 SECONDS!!!

Of course, Dissanyake shot to fame last month when he beat the living crap out of 3 men who were trying to rob his co-worker at a gas station in Houston. Even UFC boss Dana White said he was impressed with Mayura's heroic actions.

Well, last night in Houston ... Mayura got in the ring for the first time since the incident -- and dominated his opponent Jamie Garcia in an amateur welterweight bout at Bayou City Events Center in Houston.

18 seconds. That's all it took.

"Each time I was punching, I was thinking about kicking him (while he was down)," Mayura tells TMZ Sports ... "but I had to stop myself. This isn’t the parking lot! It’s not a street fight!”

The 24-year-old -- who still works at the gas station -- says he's been in talks to train with Blackhouse MMA (Anderson Silva's gym) in California ... but so far no contract has been signed.
