The Durantula recently sat down for an interview at an NBA2K15 event where he was asked a bunch of personal questions, including what song gets him ready to go out and drop buckets.

Call in the Brinks truck ... 'cause 2 Chainz just helped a group of streetballers collect a $25,000 check -- coaching the guys to victory in a huge hoops tourney in Miami.

2 Chainz was one of 6 celebrity coaches at the South Beach Invitational in Miami ... which pitted some of the best street ballers from all over the country against each other in a tourney sponsored by the legendary Rucker Park.

Check out the video -- 2 Chainz, a former college basketball player, clearly took his job seriously ... dishing out wisdom to his team as they took on squads coached by Pusha T, French Montana and other stars.

In the end, 2 Chainz's team won the grand tourney and the grand prize -- a fat $25k check.

Carmelo Anthony tells TMZ Sports ... he's a PROUD ORANGEMAN today -- after his alma mater was ranked the #1 party school in the country.

Syracuse beat out schools like UCSB, West Virginia, Illinois and last year's winner, Iowa -- this according to the Princeton Review, which conducted a nationwide survey of 130k students.

Former MLB pitching great Curt Schilling says he was diagnosed with mouth cancer back in February ... and believes it was caused from his 30-year habit of chewing tobacco.

The former Boston Red Sox pitcher says he stayed quiet about the diagnosis for months for two reasons -- he didn't want people to pity him and he didn't want to get into the chewing tobacco debate.

Still, 47-year-old Schilling says ... "I'll go to my grave believing that [chewing tobacco] was why I got what I got ... absolutely, no question in my mind about that."

Schilling says he learned about the cancer only after seeing a doctor about a dog bite wound on his finger -- and felt a lump in his neck.

He got it checked out -- and it turned out to be squamous cell carcinoma ... aka mouth cancer.

Schilling says he went through several weeks of chemotherapy and radiation treatments -- and says the whole thing hurt like hell.

Steve Ballmer hit up the L.A. Dodgers game with Magic Johnson and Clippers President Doc Rivers last night.

It's interesting ... considering it was a photo featuring Magic Johnson that led to Donald Sterling's downfall ... when he blasted V. Stiviano for posting a photo of Magic on social media.

In audio posted on TMZ Sports, Sterling screamed at Stiviano for being seen in public with black guys and told her not to bring any black people to his games.

Earlier this week, Sterling himself admitted -- "I'm finished. I'm over."

Yup.

Johnson was talking about how he and Shaq would work together on some motion capture stuff for the game -- when he seamlessly dropped one of the best Shaq impressions we've heard ... maybe ever.

OK, he's no Aries Spears ... but not bad for an amateur [WARNING -- the Spears clip has some explicit language].

Keyshawn Johnson has a message for Kourtney Kardashian -- YOUR MOLD IS YOUR PROBLEM -- telling TMZ Sports ... KK's claim that he sold her a moldy Calabasas mansion is pure B.S.

Keyshawn and his fiancee Jennifer Conrad were out in Beverly Hills -- getting ready for their wedding this weekend -- when the future Mrs. Johnson told us, "There was no mold when the house was sold. I promise you that."

Key added, "House was sold. House was bought. Everything else is everybody else's problems -- not mine."

As we first reported, Kourtney and her family are living in the Montage in Beverly Hills --claiming Key failed to disclose black mold in the master bedroom.

Key told us the house was "thoroughly inspected by excellent, experienced inspectors that they hired" before the deal went through -- and he did nothing wrong.

Kim Kardashian assumed auntie duties in Calabasas Tuesday ... taking her nephew Mason Disick to the movies.

Kim didn't have a lot to say but Mason did. He told our photog he went to see "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" in The Commons. He also has a fav -- Donatello.

We're told Kim took Mason out for the afternoon so he didn't go stir crazy in the Montage hotel in Bev Hills, where mommy Kourtney, Daddy Scott and sister Penelope are staying because they claim the house they bought from Keyshawn Johnson is full of dangerous black mold.

Surf legend Kelly Slater is choosing sides on the situation in Ferguson, MO -- riding a massive wave with his "hands up" as a tribute to Mike Brown -- the man who was shot to death on August 9.

Slater posted the pic on Instagram -- adding the caption, "One for #MikeBrown, #DontShoot #Ferguson #HandsUp."

The "Hands Up" gesture has become a sign of solidarity among those who believe the 18-year-old was attempting to surrender to police with his hands up when he was shot multiple times and killed by an officer.

In fact, several members of the Washington Redskins took the field with the "Hands Up" gesture during "Monday Night Football" this week.

And Nelly -- along with Chris Brown, Trey Songz and Bow Wow -- all put their hands up at a recent charity flag football game in L.A.

Meanwhile, back in Ferguson -- a grand jury will meet on Wednesday to begin hearing evidence in the case.

Johnny Manziel's 1-finger salute ain't sittin' well with the redneck community -- at least according to the official redneck spokesperson Jeff Foxworthy who tells TMZ Sports the dude has NO CLASS.

The legendary Blue Collar comic was out in L.A. when he told us why Johnny's televised bird during "Monday Night Football" exposed the "real" Johnny Manziel.

"He's a class act ... you can't hide class."

Apparently, the NFL is still upset with Janet Jackson for that whole nipplegate thing back in 2004 -- because league reps tell us she's still on the blacklist when it comes to the Super Bowl Halftime show.

TMZ Sports reached out to the NFL to discuss possible acts at Super Bowl XLIX (49) in Arizona next year -- and while the league wouldn't say who's in the running, they did issue the following statement:

"As for potential acts --- we have only ruled out Janet Jackson."

No word on how Justin Timberlake escaped the ire of the NFL -- considering he played a key role in the infamous "wardrobe malfunction" that day -- but if he's NOT banned, BOOK HIS ASS!!!

Keyshawn Johnson is enraged that Kourtney Kardashian is suggesting he defrauded her by selling her a mold-infested house.

Sources close to Keyshawn tell us he's scoffing at Kourtney's intimation he painted over dangerous black mold so it would go undetected. In fact ... Keyshawn insists he never painted a single wall during the 2 1/2 years he lived in the Calabasas mansion.

Our sources say ... Keyshawn believes the mold developed AFTER the sale when a bathroom pipe sprung a leak in the wall. Keyshawn says someone in the Kardashian klan actually reached out to Keyshawn asking if the house was still under warranty so they wouldn't have to pay for the repair.

Keyshawn is incredulous because he has 2 kids who lived in the house until the day before it was sold ... and the kids mostly slept in the master, where mold was found. He says he would never knowingly expose his kids to mold.

He also says the Kardashians have been a pain in the ass ... calling at least 10 times after the sale to ask about this and that.

Here's a question -- if an NBA team trades you away to another squad after one season, do you still rock their gear out in public?

Kim Kardashian's ex-husband was out in L.A. sportin' his Celtics sweat pants yesterday -- despite the fact the team shipped him out to the Washington Wizards back in July.

Kris didn't seem too bothered by the issue when our guy asked him about the fashion decision -- but people like Allen Iverson got crushed when he rocked another team's gear out in public while he was playing for the 76ers.

More recently, 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick took all sorts of heat for rockin' a Miami Dolphins hat.

Barry Bonds is getting screwed -- and DESERVES his own plaque in the Baseball Hall of Fame ... so says former MLB superstar David Justice.

Here's the gist of David's argument:

-- Yeah, Barry was probably juiced up from '97 to '07 ... and that's bad.

Kourtney Kardashian is crying cover-up ... claiming the house she bought from Keyshawn Johnson is infested with dangerous mold that was masked by a coat of paint ... sending her family fleeing for their safety.

We're told Kourtney's decorator found the mold when he installed some fixtures.

Kourtney and the kids checked into the Montage hotel in Bev Hills Monday. The photo agency didn't get Scott Disick ... but we're told he arrived later. The family just returned from the Hamptons and decided it was too dangerous to move back into the house -- especially since Kourtney is pregnant.

Sources connected with Kourtney say she's on the attack ... ready to sue anyone who's responsible. She believes the fresh paint over what she claims is mold is the smoking gun.

We've made multiple calls to Keyshawn ... but haven't heard back.
