Lil Wayne hit up the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills this week to chat business with Cristiano Ronaldo -- and wound up kicking it with the entire Real Madrid soccer team ... TMZ Sports has learned.

As we previously reported, Weezy's starting his own sports management company and Ronaldo is Client #1 -- so it's no coincidence they hooked up while they were both in L.A.

Sources close to the situation tell us Wayne and Ronaldo met for about an hour -- and on his way out of the hotel, he was bombarded by Ronaldo's ultra-famous teammates.

Among Wayne's famous fans who asked for pics -- Sergio Ramos, Jese' and Pepe.

According to our sources, the players had JUST come from the practice field ... and were getting ready to head to their next destination -- Dallas.

It's unclear if Weezy has any of Ronaldo's teammates in his sights to add to his client roster -- but if things work out with Ronaldo, you can expect a line around the block.

Orlando Bloom has some serious muscle on his side -- UFC Hall of Famer Forrest Griffin who tells TMZ Sports he wants to TRAIN the actor how to fight so he can take Bieber the next time they face off.

The 35-year-old former Light Heavyweight champ says he watched the footage of Bloom and Bieber going at it in a fancy Ibiza restaurant and says he was unimpressed with Bloom's attack.

"He threw a weak-ass punch!"

But Griffin says he's a fan of Orlando's movies and wants to help ... saying, "He can come to Vegas anytime to train with me. If they ever fight again, I can show him some moves so he can win."

"But I gotta warn Orlando ... I think Floyd Mayweather Jr. is gonna train Bieber -- and that guy's a monster."

Still, Griffin says if the two stars do ever square up, Orlando would have the advantage -- "He's not big, but it looks like he has the reach. Then again, everyone looks big next to Justin Bieber."

Chicago Bears legend Brian Urlacher is BACK ON with a former "America's Next Top Model" contestant -- after 5 years of on-and-off dating ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Urlacher's lady is Jennipher Frost -- who appeared on Season 3 of the modeling show back in 2004.

We spoke to Jennipher who tells us she and Brian met through mutual friends several years ago -- and have been dating on-and-off ever since.

But now ... they're definitely on and definitely strong. In fact, they're living together in Phoenix.

Urlacher has a type -- super hot chicks ... besides Jennipher, he's also dated Jenny McCarthy and long before that, the NFL star was connected to Paris Hilton.

Nothing takes your mind of possible prosecution like hot ass on a boat ... just ask Argentinian soccer hero Lionel Messi.

With the Spanish government mulling over the decision to prosecute the footballer for allegedly filing more than $5 million in false tax returns, Messi decided to take a yacht trip this week with his GF in Italy.

#10 was chillin' in a yacht in Ponza -- while 26-year-old Antonella Roccuzzo showed off her thong'd out backside outside of a seaside restaurant filled with lucky patrons.

Stephen A. Smith says he will not challenge ESPN's decision to suspend him for the "foolish" statements he made about domestic violence on the air ... telling TMZ Sports, "It was my mistake."

"I'm a man ... you deal with the things that you do," Smith told us at LaGuardia Airport.

San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis is trying his hand at ACTING -- and he just released his first scene as the brand new superhero ... "CAPTAIN TORPEDO!!!!"

Apparently, the whole thing is supposed to be a comedy sketch in connection with a comedy group called French Mustache ... which has a channel on FunnyOrDie.com.

In the scene, Vernon argues with some Russian guy (who's not really Russian) and then gets shot in the head ... (spoiler).

Vernon's no Blake Griffin (yet) ... but at least he's trying.

10:30 AM PT -- We spoke to the actor who played "Torpedo Boy" -- Nathaniel Weiss -- who told us Vernon couldn't have been a nicer guy on the set.

Weiss says the NFL star also told him he was excited about the project because he hoped it would lead to similar roles in the future.

Stop us if you've heard this one before ... but it seems Richard Sherman's gotten himself into another beef with an NFL superstar.

This time, the Seattle Seahawks star is trading barbs with Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson ... who just signed a $70 million contract extension -- making him the highest paid CB in the league.

After the news broke, Sherman (who recently signed a $56 contract) retweeted a stat that took aim at Peterson -- "Richard Sherman and Patrick Peterson combined to allow 8 touchdown passes in 2013. Peterson gave up seven of those."

Peterson -- who clearly saw the tweet -- shot back with a phrase Sherman used to harass Tom Brady last season ... "Yu mad bro!!!!! LMAO."

Then came Sherman's retort ... and really a "drop the mic" moment ... when he posted a pic sporting his Super Bowl ring saying, "Can't ever be too mad lmao..."

Peterson hasn't responded yet ... and probably wont.

Magic Johnson says he has "no ill-feelings" toward Donald Sterling -- but he sure as hell flashed a HUUUUGE smile when asked how he felt about the Clippers getting a new owner.

Johnson was at a Lakers news conference in L.A. yesterday when he was asked about the court ruling that will allow Shelly Sterling to sell the Clips to Steve Ballmer.

"What’s my reaction to the Sterling ruling? What do you think my reaction to the Sterling thing is? [flashes big smile] Do you see this? I don’t think you see this. I don’t have anything bad to say about him right now."

Boom.

But ... being the classy guy that he is, Magic continued -- "I’ve said already that I’m praying for the man. But it’s a great day for Clipper fans, for this city. Ballmer is going to be an exciting owner, and a good owner for the Clippers."

Magic says he's got to give credit to Shelly -- explaining, "This was tough for her" ... but insisted, "I have no ill-feelings toward Donald."

In case you forgot, Donald's initial racist rant was all about Magic -- when he blasted V. Stiviano for posting a photo on Instagram with the NBA legend ... which Donald disapproved of because Magic is black.

Donald then went on to trash Magic on CNN -- saying Johnson should be ashamed of himself for contracting the HIV virus.

Even then, Magic simply said he was praying for Sterling.

Former NHL star Mike Comrie had a family meal with his estranged wife and their son last night -- just a few months after Hilary Duff said there was a chance the couple could get back together.

Mike, Hilary and 2-year-old son Luca were all together at E. Baldi in Beverly Hills -- looking as friendly as ever.

Of course, the couple separated back in January after nearly 4 years of marriage -- but back in May, Hilary hinted that the relationship isn't completely dead.

"We make plans and we hang out," Hilary told Giuliana Rancic a few months ago. "And we don't know what our future looks like right now, but we're both doing really good and just figuring out what makes us happy."

Sacramento Kings player Omri Casspi visited Israeli soldiers ... and brought basketballs.

Casspi explained, "Visiting heroic soldiers in Tel HaShomer."

The Israeli-born athlete -- a 1st round pick in the 2009 NBA Draft -- is currently back in his home country ... and has said he's been living in and out of bomb shelters since the fighting intensified a few weeks ago.

The 26-year-old has been pretty outspoken about his feelings on the conflict -- in fact, when his former Houston Rockets teammate Dwight Howard tweeted #FreePalestine recently, Omri shot back with a message of his own:

The L.A. Clippers are one step closer to getting their sponsors back -- with one major former backer telling TMZ Sports it's open to returning now that a judge has cleared the path for Steve Ballmer to take over the team.

We spoke to reps for the Chumash Casino who tell us they were following the case closely and are "pleased with the ruling" which will allow Shelly Sterling to sell the team to the former Microsoft CEO.

As a result of the ruling, the Chumash rep says they are now "open to discussing future partnership possibilities with the L.A. Clippers family and its new ownership."

As we previously reported, the Chumash -- along with Carmax, State Farm and a slew of other Clippers sponsors -- pulled their deals with the team in the wake of Donald Sterling's racist comments about black fans.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is pissed ... claiming in a lawsuit that a famous Beverly Hills auction house has 152 pieces of his treasured memorabilia ... including a Bruce Lee poster ... and they refuse to give it back.

KAJ is suing Julien's Auction House -- the same people who have auctioned several iconic Michael Jackson items over the years ... and Marilyn Monroe's divorce papers from Joe DiMaggio.

Long story short ... Kareem claims he got into business with Julien's back in 2012 -- initially agreeing to let them sell 400 items ... but the deal went south when Kareem didn't want to part with certain things that had sentimental value.

A legal war ensued -- and Kareem's LLC admits Julien's was awarded monetary damages -- but claims the auction house is holding his property "hostage" until they get paid.

The items involved are from several periods in Kareem's life ... including:

-- An engraved KAJ tea set
-- A McDonald's "Top Faces of Black History" Award
-- Signed "Game of Death" poster (the movie he did with Bruce Lee)
-- A Stetson black suede hat
-- 5 pairs of Lakers sweatpants
-- Personalized L.A. Kings jersey
-- A "Fletch" script from 1984
-- A custom made rocking chair
... and a special Kareem Abdul-Jabbar snowboard

7:45 PM PT -- We spoke to lawyers for the auction house who told us, "The claim that these items are being held hostage is absolutely false."

They explain, "Julien’s Auctions recently prevailed in an arbitration against one of Mr. Jabbar’s companies, KAJ Lifetime Retirement Collection LLC. That company, not Mr. Jabbar, entered into a valid consignment agreement for the items at issue."

UCLA is virtually underwater ... the result of a massive water main break on campus -- and the athletic training center is getting hit HARD.

TMZ Sports obtained footage ... showing the water rushing in beside a mural that features several UCLA athletic greats.

The water main ruptured around 4pm ... and water is shooting out like a volcano.

In fact, it's so bad officials shut down Sunset Blvd. and firefighters were helping stranded motorists.

Besides the athletic training center, the soccer field is also under water ... and we're told there's water all over the basketball court.

Meanwhile, all is calm at USC.

ESPN is yanking Stephen A. Smith off the air -- suspending him for the inflammatory comments he made about women and domestic violence last week.

The network says Smith will not appear on his show "First Take" or on ESPN Radio until next Wednesday. During a discussion about Ray Rice's suspension, Stephen A. said he would tell women to make sure they're not doing anything "to provoke wrong actions" ... in addition to telling men what NOT to do.

This morning on "First Take" Smith apologized -- and ESPN released a statement, saying ... “We will continue to have constructive dialogue on this important topic. Stephen’s comments last Friday do not reflect our company’s point of view."

The network continued ... "As his apology demonstrates, he recognizes his mistakes and has a deeper appreciation of our company values.”

Smith's comments also infuriated fellow ESPN anchor Michelle Beadle. She's yet to react to his suspension.

The stepfather of Argentinian soccer superstar Carlos Tevez has been found -- and is in "good shape" -- after he was kidnapped in Tevez's home country ... with reports saying Carlos paid a ransom to get him back.

A lawyer for Carlos' family told media outlets in Argentina that the soccer player's stepfather was kidnapped early Tuesday and was held for 8 hours before he was returned.

According to the BBC, Tevez's stepfather was driving his car about 19 miles outside of Buenos Aires when he was abducted by a group of men.

There are reports out of Argentina that Carlos paid a ransom to get his stepfather back -- with some media outlets saying it was as low as $5k and as high as $400k -- but Carlos' lawyer has not confirmed if the reports are true.

Carlos -- who plays for the Italian club team Juventus -- has been granted time off to be with his family in the wake of the incident.
