Dennis Rodman has been named in a police report -- by a woman who claims she was drugged last week during a hotel drinking session with the ex-NBA star ... TMZ has learned.

According to the report filed with Ft. Lauderdale PD ... 22-year-old Angela Torre says she met Rodman and a friend named Charlie at the Ocean Manor Resort Hotel on July 1st.

Torre claims the three went back to a hotel room -- where she had "one drink and a shot" ... and then she blacked out. Next thing she remembers is waking up in the hospital.

When Aaron Hernandez said goodbye to Bristol County Jail ... it wasn't forever ... because he'll locked up there again soon ... so says Bristol County Sheriff Thomas Hodgson.

As we previously reported, Hernandez was transferred from BCJ to Suffolk County Jail this week -- claiming he felt he became a target in Bristol after he was accused of threatening to kill a guard.

He also claimed the move to Suffolk wuold be easier on his Boston-based lawyers.

TMZ Sports spoke with Sheriff Hodgson who tells us he has "no hard feelings" toward Hernandez -- and even said goodbye before he left -- but says he'll be back in his jail soon enough.

Hodgson says he expects AH to be transferred BACK to Bristol County Jail once the Odin Lloyd murder trial begins -- because that's where the court typically houses incarcerated defendants.

As for Aaaron, he's currently in gen pop at Suffolk County Jail -- while officials at his new home evaluate the safety situation to decide if he should be placed in an isolated part of the jail.

Cops in Akron, Ohio are STEPPING UP the patrol around LeBron James' home ... amid concerns that locals could go a little crazy when the NBA star announces his new "decision" ... something that could happen as early as tonight.

TMZ Sports spoke with a rep for the Bath Township Police Department ... who confirmed a "significant increase" in police presence will go down around 3PM today ... the time 'Bron is rumored to be making his big announcement.

Officials are hoping locals won't recreate the madness that surrounded LeBron's 2010 decision ... when he left Cleveland for Miami and the city went NUTS -- with people starting fires in the streets and burning jerseys, posters and any other 'Bron items they could find.

As for LeBron -- he hasn't officially announced when he'll make his decision ... but there are reports it will happen TODAY.

Competitive eating is a dangerous sport -- and shouldn't be taken lightly -- because choking accidents like the tragedy in South Dakota are far too common ... so says pro eating champ Molly Schuyler.

Schuyler -- who's competed in contests involving steaks, wings, hot dogs and more -- tells TMZ Sports it's essential for competitive eaters to make sure there are trained medics on hand whenever they compete ... something that doesn't always happen.

"Mom and pop shops don’t usually want to spend the money for [medical personnel] ... Schuyler says ... warning amateurs to NOT COMPETE in events that aren't properly staffed with EMTs.

In fact, Schuyler says even with all of her years of experience ... she's had scares from choking on food during competitions.

Several pro eating leagues -- including Major League Eating -- mandate emergency medical personnel be present for any speed-eating event ... even 30 second media exhibitions.

As we previously reported, a man died in SD on July 3rd after choking during an amateur hot dog eating contest. Officials say by the time emergency personnel arrived to the scene, it was too late.

Schuyler says she hopes organizers can learn from the tragedy to better protect competitors in the future.

The always charming Donald Sterling called his wife a PIG in open court moments ago ... because, well, that's the kind of guy he is.

Shelly Sterling was stepping down from the stand ... where she testified that she still loves Donald and only called for a medical evaluation for him because she was afraid he suffered a recent stroke.

But as she got off the stand and made her way toward Donald, the curmudgeon lashed out ... saying, "Stay away from me you pig!"

The judge told Donald to calm down.

In what seemed like a response to Shelly's testimony about Donald possibly having a stroke -- Donald also told his estranged wife, "How can you say that?!"

Before he led Argentina to the World Cup final ... Lionel Messi was destroying athletes in his own country since he was 5-years-old ... and there's video to prove it.

All his bags are packed and he's ready to go ... 'cause Aaron Hernandez is MOVING TO A NEW JAIL TODAY ... and the new man in charge claims Aaron will be treated like every other inmate.

As we previously reported, a judge gave Hernandez the green light to move to a jail closer to his Boston-based lawyers ... after Aaron said he feared retribution from the staff at Bristol County Jail.

Now, the former NFL star -- who's also suspected of murdering 3 people -- is in the process of moving to Suffolk County Jail ... where he'll likely stay in a 7x10 foot cell with a toilet and a mirror.

Sheriff Steven Tompkins said Hernandez will be treated like any other inmate in the jail -- and will be assessed by officials who will determine if Aaron will be placed in gen pop or an isolated area.
