Of course, Adler is the guy who's always sitting courtside with Jack Nicholson -- and together, they're considered Lakers royalty.

So, if anyone really knows what's really going on behind the scenes -- it's this guy ... who, unfortunately for Lakers fans, didn't sound too optimistic about signing Carmelo Anthony.

Well, it looks like the training's been paying off ... 'cause Lewis hit the mat for an arm-bar training session recently ... and was pretty impressive ... even forcing his partner to tap out.

Now that he's a bona fide rockstar, Team USA goalie Tim Howard hit the Hollywood club scene Saturday night ... and left with a couple of smokin' hot chicks!

Howard and a buddy hit up 1Oak on the Sunset Strip -- and left in a taxi with 2 very attractive ladies.

Howard is reportedly dating former U.K. "Big Brother" star Sara Mclean -- and the smaller brunette woman he was with sorta looks like her ... but it's hard to tell for sure.

Also, according to Mclean's Twitter page -- she was at a cricket match in London on Saturday.

So ... is it Mclean? Has Howard moved on? Are the chicks he left with just "good friends?"

Either way, sweet v-neck bro.

UFC champ Chris Weidman celebrated his big win at UFC 175 with family, friends ... and LOTS of booze!

All American hit up Surrender Nightclub in Las Vegas with 40 people in tow following his win over Lyoto Machida -- and eyewitnesses say the group drank every form of alcohol under the sun.

Weidman however stuck to vodka (gotta keep an eye on those calories.)

The middleweight champ was also happy to take pics with anyone who asked ... even though he was sporting a major shiner -- and the confetti bath looks like it was awesome!

UFC fighter Uriah Hall is possibly one of the toughest dudes in MMA ... the guy won his fight last night on a broken toe -- and Uriah tells TMZ Sports it took FIVE PEOPLE to fix the break.

Hall went head-to-head with Thiago Santos at UFC 175 Saturday night in Las Vegas ... and broke his toe sometime in the first round. Between rounds, cameras showed the nasty damage.

But Hall refused to quit and continued for 2 more rounds. When the fight was over, Uriah was the victor via unanimous decision.

Uriah says his bone was partially sticking out ... so doctors quickly went to work snapping it back into place -- and it took 5 of them to finish the job. Now, Uriah's just rehabbing the injury and looking forward to his next fight.

A great white shark attacked a swimmer in Manhattan Beach CA and it was all caught on video.

The 7-foot shark was struggling on the wrong end of a fishing line near the pier. Shortly before the attack, the fisherman tried in vain for 40 minutes to reel the shark in ... the shark was agitated when some long- distance swimmers unwittingly crossed its path.

As video rolled ... the great white attacked one of the swimmers. People on the pier where the video was shot initially didn't realize someone was injured but soon thereafter it became apparent and they screamed at the people in the water to swim for their lives.

The attack victim sustained moderate injuries to his torso and is in stable condition.

The fisherman eventually cut the line.

TMZ Sports got this video shot last month of a 6-foot great white near the shoreline of Manhattan beach, as paddle boarders circled it.

TNA wrestler Robbie E might take the wind-relieving pose a little too literally ... 'cause even though yoga helped him prepare for the "Amazing Race" ... it turned him into a human gasbag.

Robbie and his GF Brooke Tessmacher teamed up for the CBS reality show -- which has already been shot and premieres in September -- and Robbie tells TMZ the yoga helped him get mentally and physically ready for the grueling challenges on the road.

In fact, Robbie got some support from fellow wrestlers DJ Z and Jessie Godderz who teamed up for some "broga" sessions before and after the "Race" ... where Robbie fessed up to the pose that turns him into Captain Flatulation!

Meantime, Brooke used other methods to prepare -- mainly something we like to call, "Puttin' In Twerk." Miley Cyrus would be proud ...

Back before he became an American hero, the Team USA goalie was a big deal -- literally -- towering over his soccer teammates when he was a kid ... and TMZ Sports has the pics.

More problems for unemployed NFL star Bryant McKinnie -- TMZ Sports has learned the former lineman's fancy car has been REPO'D ... after he stiffed his lawyers on a HUGE bill.

Here's the deal ... according to legal docs, Bryant never paid his Florida lawyers more than $20k in bills, fees and penalties stemming from work they did several years ago.

The lawyers sued and got a judgement for $21,354.69 ... but McKinnie never paid -- so the court sent a repo man to collect Bryant's 2012 Infiniti QX56 ... so they could auction it off to pay back the attorneys.

Well, what the repo man wants ... the repo man gets -- and now the car is all set for the auction block ... where Bryant will have a chance to buy it back ... if he really loves the car.

It's just the latest problem for McKinnie -- who reportedly settled a lawsuit with a strip club owner who claimed the NFL player stiffed his establishment on a $375k bill.

Madonna is being hailed as a HERO in the boxing community ... so says boxing Hall of Famer Tommy "The Hitman" Hearns who's praising the singer for saving a Detroit boxing gym

FYI -- Madge recently returned from a trip to Detroit and announced she'd be making "significant" donations to 3 organizations ... including the Downtown Youth Boxing Gym.

Madonna says she was super-impressed with the programs at the gym that have helped it achieve a 100% graduation rate. Recently, the gym's main building was condemned ... so, Madge's donation will allow the place to make renovations and continue to operate.

Now, Hearns -- who grew up in Detroit -- tells TMZ Sports Madonna's generosity will have a HUGE impact with young boxers and the community as a whole.

"I think it's awesome for her to help, being as big as she is," Hearns says ... "The people who get the help she provides will probably shed tears."

There's no good time to get arrested, but NFL superstar Josh Gordon just got nailed for an alleged DWI … at possibly the worst time for his future as a football player.

The Cleveland Browns all-pro wide receiver was busted in Raleigh, NC for drunk driving early Saturday morning. According to cops he was initially pulled over for speeding -- 50 in a 35 -- shortly before 3AM.

He was eventually released after posting a $500 bond.

Gordon -- a bonafide superstar who led the league in receiving yards last season -- was already set to meet with the NFL this month to discuss his punishment for his second violation of the league's drug policy.

Gordon would've been the main weapon for Johnny Manziel -- or whoever ends up starting at QB -- but he could be facing a year-long suspension just for the drug violation.

His hands are almost TWICE THE SIZE of a regular human's ... but UFC badass Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva tells TMZ Sports his gigantic mitts don't hold him back -- they give him a HUGE edge in a fight.

It's obvious why ... the Brazilian-born heavyweight -- who's in Vegas for UFC International Fight week -- believes his massive fists do way more damage than a pair of average puny sissy-fists.
