Dodgers Star Hanley Ramirez The First Words I Learned In English Were ...
L.A. Dodgers superstar Hanley Ramirez spent the first 19 years of his life growing up in the Dominican Republic -- so what were the first words he learned in English?
Let's put it this way ... Vin Scully would approve.
WWE Hall of Famer I Wanna Wrestle in North Korea
It's the kinda thing that blew up in Dennis Rodman's face -- but WWE Hall of Famer Tony Atlas is throwing his name in the ring for a new wrestling gig ... in North Korea.
The event -- announced Monday -- will be held August in Pyongyang, and although the lineup hasn't been revealed ... Atlas says he'd proudly lace up his boots for a match ... even though he's 70 YEARS OLD!
Tony, aka Mr. USA, sees it as his patriotic duty, telling us ..."If Mr. USA wins his match, the people of North Korea will have freedom from oppression ... and Mr. USA always fights for freedom and righteousness."
We doubt Kim Jong-un sees it that way.
Tony says he's anxious to get a call from event organizer Antonio Inoki ... who fight fans remember for his famous hybrid wrestling/boxing match with Muhammad Ali back in 1976.

Atlanta Falcons great Jamal Anderson -- the creator of the Dirty Bird -- is a HARDCORE "Game of Thrones" fan ... like, borderline obsessed.
So, when we asked him to put together a Monday morning "GoT" recap, dude was ALL ABOUT IT.
Soooo ... without further ado, here's Jamal's breakdown of last night's ep "Mockingbird."

"What do we do with those that hurt the ones we love?"
We begin this week with the Lannister boys (Tyrion & Jamie) plotting in Tyrian's dungeon abode.
Clearly reeling from last weeks explosive final scene -- the demand for Trial by Combat -- the realization of Tyrion's dire situation is setting in. Who will come to champion Tyrion? It appears his options are severely limited. But more on this later...
Blood and guts anyone? Last night we were re-introduced to one of the more formidable characters on the show. As a former football player in the NFL, I've seen many big men on the field of play. There were few, if any, as enormous as Sir Gregor Clegane -- aka The Mountain. When Tyrion requested his trial by combat, he should have also realized the sister (Cersei) who wants him dead would find a find worthy foe. Although a brief scene, Cersei's meeting with the Mountain showed us that dude's got the skill to kill.
"Nothing isn't better or worse than anything ... nothing is just nothing"
Arya Stark is learning brutal life lessons. The adventures of our favorite weary duo continue with Arya and the Hound, Sandor Clegane. As we are reminded later in this episode, the Hound is the brother of the Mountain. A theme in this weeks episode -- siblings.
Fascinating to see the bond being formed between these two ... considering the Hound is on Arya's death list! A few big scene's this week for our duo. Arya won't hesitate to exact revenge. Her little sword gets it done. Needle to the heart and goodnight! Learning the ways of this cold world from a man she's sworn to kill. Who knew the Hound had a heart? Painfully recalling how he become deformed, a rare scene with the Hound showing, dare I say, feelings. Arya with an assist on the stitches. Yes, the bond between the two is growing.
Fresh off his triumph at Craster's keep, we jump to Castle Black and one of my favorite characters on the show, Jon Snow. Admired by his comrades, hated by leadership at Castle Black. You'd think the bosses would listen to a guy who spent a significant amount of time around their enemy. Negative. They threaten his wolf, shut down his plan, and stick him with the worst assignment at Castle Black. Lord Snow, indeed.
Back to our favorite dwarf in a dungeon, Tyrion Lannister. A visit from an old ally doesn't bode well for Tyrion. Bronn, his former right hand man is moving in prosperous circles now without him. His life has meaning. So much for the plan of Bronn being Tyrion's champion is his trial by combat. Who can blame Bronn? Nobody wants to fight the Mountain.
Daario Naharis has spent the better part of two seasons trying to get into Khaleesi's bed. His efforts finally paid off and he can thank the wild flowers. Noted. Just in time for Daario as he and his Second Sons troop are reassigned back to Yunkai. Khaleesi is about to set her provinces straight with brutal swiftness.
You never know who you'll bump into on The King's Road. On a mission to find Sansa Stark, a simple stop for lodging and grub turns into very useful information for Brienne of Tarth. First, she finds out Arya Stark is in fact still alive. This spurns a conversation from her squire about the only living Stark relative Lysa Arryn. Didn't you want to scream at the TV to tell them to take the other road? Alas, if only Podrick would have been sure of his information. A reunion with Sansa could have been near. Maybe it still is? Stay tuned.
BTW -- admit it, you suddenly want a piece of kidney pie.
Back to the dungeon of our jailed little lord Tyrion Lannister.
In an episode packed with good scenes, this one of the the best. A surprising visitor who shares a very surprising story. Prince Oberyn. Further proving Cersei's lifelong hatred for her brother, Oberyn shares a painful story with Tyrian from their childhood. "All anyone talked about was the monster born to Tywin Lannister." Ouch. Eyes full of tears as his prospects seem truly dire, in a surprise turn, Prince Oberyn steps up to be his champion. Revenge, good people, is a powerful ally. Tyrion's trial by combat is set, Prince Oberyn vs Sir Gregor aka The Mountain.
Off to the Eyrie we go for this week's final scenes. They usually save the best scenes for last on this show -- this week is no different. A rare moment of peace, Sansa Stark brief joy is interrupted by her twisted little cousin-husband to be. A small applause when she laid hands on him.
Lord Petyr Baelish doesn't miss much, does he? Always present, always plotting. You had to know when he "rescued" Sansa the way he looked at her what his true intentions were. Last night in the scene of the night they were made painfully clear. Slimy and slick Lord Baelish played Lysa Arryn to the left, right, and threw her down the middle. The middle off the sky whole, that is. Baelish started the domino mess with Lysa Arryn that precipitated a war which saw the death of many, especially the Starks. Her reward for obediently listening -- tossed out of the sky hole in her own castle. "I have only loved one women ... Only one, my entire life ...your sister"
Damn, cold world this Game of Thrones. I'm not going to act like I feel bad for Lysa, she was clearly off her rocker. Here's to the hope that someone gets to Sansa Stark soon, because Lord Baelish is plotting. How will Baelish answer For Lysa's death?
He's usually a step or two ahead, Stay tuned ...
L.A. Dodgers Star DODGEBALLING KIDS ... Billy Madison Style
"Dodgeball is a sport of violence, exclusion and degradation. So, when you're picking players in gym class, remember to pick the bigger, stronger kids for your team. That way you can gang up on the weaker ones" -- Patches O'Houlihan
It was pure domination on the dodgeball courts in NYC today -- when L.A. Dodgers stars Drew Butera (catcher) and Dee Gordon (2nd baseman) DESTROYED a bunch of elementary school kids ... and it was all caught on tape.
The MLB stars took on kids from Grace Church School in a match that was taped for the MTV2 show "Off the Bat."
Don't worry, it doesn't seem like anyone was hurt -- and it was all in good fun.
Somewhere, Miss Lippy is smiling ...
Aaron Hernandez Beatdown Victim Back In Jail But Separated from Aaron
The guards at the Bristol County Jail are gonna have to be on high alert -- because the guy Aaron Hernandez beat up back in February has been arrested and has returned to the same jail ... TMZ Sports has learned.
We know ... Andrew Booker was released in March ... nearly one month after the former NFL star attacked him inside Bristol County Jail while Booker was shackled in handcuffs.
Now, we've learned Booker was arrested on May 2nd for possession of coke and a knife -- and he's been sent back into Hernandez country pending his court case.
Our sources tell us ... officials are making sure Booker and Hernandez are kept far away from each other to prevent a Round 2.
It's especially important considering the two had been talking smack to each other in the weeks before the attack -- and there could still be bad blood.
Stay tuned ...
Snoop Dogg My Football League Will Generate 50 NFLers ... In Next 10 Years
He's already churned out 4 pros in the last 2 years, but Snoop Dogg tells TMZ Sports he predicts at least FIFTY more players from the Snoop Youth Football League will be in the NFL in the next decade.
Snoop was at a 7-on-7 tourney at UCLA for the SYFL this weekend when he told us his league is overflowing with talent ... and it's no coincidence that former players like De'Anthony Thomas and Ronnie Hillman are thriving at higher levels.
"Our kids, they go hard," Snoop says ... "In the next 10 years, I see 50 kids from the SYFL playing in the NFL."
Snoop's L.A.-based league has exploded over the last decade -- with roughly 1,700 players signed up this season ... and even more expected to join next year.
Donald Sterling FLOSSIN' WITH ASIAN CHICK At In-N-Out Burger
Hey, racists gotta eat too ... which is why Donald Sterling hit up an In-N-Out burger joint in Westwood, CA this weekend ... with a pretty young Asian lady in tow.
Our burger spies tell us ... Sterling rolled up to the restaurant (right near UCLA) around 3pm on Sunday in his pimped out Rolls Royce Phantom ... not exactly incognito.
We're told Sterling -- along with the young woman and a man who appeared to be a manager -- walked inside ... and sat down together ... with Sterling only ordering a drink.
Our source said at least one person asked Donald for a picture -- and Donald seemed like he was down -- but Donald's "manager" stepped in and nixed the shot.
The whole group was only in the restaurant for around 20 minutes before they went back to the car and left.
No burger. No fries.
He really is a horrible person.
Tom Brady Gisele Sticks It to Tom's Ex With 'In Your Face' PDA
In what appears to be a reminder about who won the war over Tom Brady, Gisele planted a big fat kiss on the QB's face this weekend ... right in front of his OTHER baby mama.
Ouch.
Tom and Gisele ... and Bridget Moynahan ... were all out together at a park in NYC hanging with all of Tom's kids (2 with Gisele, 1 with Bridget).
To be fair, Gisele and Bridget actually hugged each other at one point, but c'mon ... it's sorta like when Kobe hugged Shaq ... not a lot of feeling behind it.
The history between the 3 is interesting ... Tom started dating Gisele 8 years ago ... while Bridget was pregnant with his child.
Tom Brady -- impregnating beautiful women since 2006.
Lance Armstrong 'Missing Testicle' Surfaces During Card Game
Sooooooo ... game night took a helluva turn at the Armstrong house this weekend.
Lance was playing "Cards Against Humanity" (it's sorta like competitive group Mad Libs) ... when he drew a card that hit a little below the belt ... "Lance Armstrong's missing testicle."
Lance had a sense of humor about it ... and posted a photo of the card on Twitter along with the caption, "Just another night of playing Cards Against Humanity."
Hey, at least Lance found a game he's actually allowed to compete in.
Justin Timberlake Hey Donald Sterling ... EVERYONE HATES YOU!!!
Justin Timberlake does not like Donald Sterling ... and took a pretty hilarious shot at the guy during the Billboard Music Awards last night.
JT was accepting his award for "Top Artist" -- ("It's not a competition, but if it was, I WON and I'm OK with that!") -- when he decided to spit some venom at the disgraced Clippers owner.
"And we're OK with that!!"
Dana White 'Ken Shamrock's an Idiot'
The feud between Ken Shamrock and Dana White is still very much alive -- with the UFC boss telling TMZ Sports he still thinks Shamrock's nothing but a blithering idiot.
White was walking into Greystone Manner in L.A. this weekend, when we asked how he felt about Shamrock's criticism of the bodyguard who failed to protect Jay Z from Solange in an NYC elevator.
White's response -- "Ken Shamrock's an idiot ... he's an idiot."
When we asked for an explanation, Dana elaborated ... "Spend 5 minutes with him, have a conversation with him ... he's an idiot."
White and Shamrock have been feuding for years -- with Shamrock even suing the UFC for breach of contract when he was fired from the org. back in 2007 ... a lawsuit Ken ultimately LOST (he was also ordered to pay $175k in legal fees).
Guess we shouldn't expect to see Ken ringside at a UFC event anytime soon.
Ice Cube 'F**k the Clippers'
In the wake of the Donald Sterling madness, a ton of people (including Lakers fans) were rooting for the Clippers in the NBA playoffs.
Ice Cube was not one of those people.

CrossFit SLAMS TRANSGENDER ATHLETE Face It, You're Not a Winner
The post-op transgender suing CrossFit is no champion -- penis or no penis -- so says the fitness titans who claim the woman (born a man) actually competed with the gals in 2013 ... AND LOST.
It's the latest twist in the legal war between C.F. and Chloie Jonsson -- who's suing CrossFit for $2.5 million claiming they violated her civil rights by not letting her compete with the ladies, once they learned that she was born a man.
But CrossFit says Chloie's full of crap -- explaining that she actually DID compete with the women in 2013 ... until she blew the whistle on herself.
In new legal docs, filed in L.A. County Superior Court, CrossFit says it never suspected Jonsson was born a man ... but once she raised the issue, they couldn't allow her to continue to compete with the women, per the organizations own rules.
As we previously reported, CrossFit says there's strong scientific evidence that shows naturally-born men have a physical advantage of naturally-born females.
Still, CrossFit says it doesn't even matter ... because when Chloie competed in an open competition for the 2013 CrossFit games, her scores were so poor, she wouldn't have advanced to the next round ... male or female.
The drama continues. Stay tuned ...
