DeAngelo Williams No Chance He Wrestles Again ... Says Tag Team Partner

Published | Updated

DeAngelo Williams was an absolute BEAST in his pro wrestling debut, but he's calling it quits after just one legendary match ... according to his tag team partner.

Williams joined forces with Moose -- a former NFL player himself -- at Impact Wrestling's Slammiversary event over the weekend ... and was tossin' fools around like John Cena.

Moose told us DeAngelo is the celeb wrestling GOAT with that performance -- seriously, dude KILLED IT -- but the RB has no interest in returning to the ring now that he's checked it off the bucket list.

Too bad ... DeAngelo was a natural -- busting out crazy aerial maneuvers, backflips and showing off impressive brute strength.

DW ... dude ... reconsider.

FYI, the free-agent RB didn't sign with an NFL team so he could wrestle ... but he's in the clear now.

Baton Rouge Cops: No Arrest In LSU Football Rape Case 'Inconsistencies In Victim's Story'

Published | Updated

The Baton Rouge Police Dept. tells TMZ Sports ... there is no probable cause to arrest LSU linebacker Jacob Phillips for rape due to "several inconsistencies" in the accuser's story.

We broke the story ... Phillips -- a highly recruited linebacker -- was investigated for sexual assault following allegations from a female LSU student athlete.

We've confirmed cops were called to a Baton Rouge hospital on June 11 to respond to the accuser -- who claims she was sexually assaulted by Phillips early that morning.

The case was investigated -- and at this point, Phillips has neither been arrested or charged with a crime.

Now, Baton Rouge PD Sgt. McKneely has issued a statement on the case ... telling TMZ Sports, "Due to several inconsistencies in the victim's narrative/disclosures and a lack of cooperation concerning evidence and further interview there was no probable cause for arrest found at this time."

We spoke with the accuser who is not backing down from the claims -- and says it's the police who aren't cooperating with her.

We also reached out to LSU for comment -- so far, no word back.

Ronda Rousey Burglary Suspects Revealed ... Young and Hot

TMZ Sports has confirmed ... the two people arrested in connection with the April burglary are 21-year-old Zhamila Bolat and 20-year-old Alim Young.

Unclear what Bolat does for a living -- but she posts a lot of selfies on social media ... and she looks pretty smokin' hot for an alleged crook.

Young is an avid skateboarder ... with a record. Court records show he's spent some time behind bars after being convicted on grand theft and petty theft charges.

As we previously reported, Rousey says she and her fiance, Travis Browne, were able to identify Bolat and Young from surveillance video at their house ... and then Browne found them at a nearby skate park.

Both suspects were arrested for burglary -- but they have not been formally charged.

Joel Embiid 'F**k LaVar Ball'

Published | Updated

"F**k LaVar Ball" -- Joel Embiid.

That's exactly what the Philly 76ers star proclaimed on Instagram Live Tuesday ... just a few days after the Big Baller said Sixers players should stay off Twitter and get in the gym.

ICYMI -- Embiid and fellow Process Truster Ben Simmons tweeted their opinions of BBB during the NBA Draft ... with Embiid asking Simmons to dunk on LaVar's son, Lonzo.

LaVar wasn't havin' it ... telling 97.5 The Fanatic, "when you don’t win and don’t even make the playoffs, and don’t even stay on the court long enough, that’s the best thing you can do is tweet, make some stuff."

"These guys ain’t played a game, always hurt, and at the bottom of the totem pole," Ball added at the time.

"So guess what, get your asses off the goddamn Tweeter, and get in the gym."

So when someone asked Embiid what he thought about LaVar's comments during the IG stream, he unleashed a simple, yet effective 3-word response.

Pro MMA Fighter Shot & Killed in Home Invasion

Aaron Rajman, a teammate of several UFC superstars at the American Top Team (ATT) gym, was murdered during a home invasion in Boca Raton, Florida ... local authorities announced on Tuesday.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office say several men got into an argument with Rajman after entering the fighter's house late Monday night ... firing at least one shot before fleeing the scene. Rajman, who just turned 25, passed away the next day.

Detectives told the Sun Sentinel they're treating this as a homicide. There are currently no motives or suspects in the case.

Rajman was famous for being one of the few orthodox Jews in MMA. He often talked about his religion publicly -- though it's unclear if he was targeted for that reason.

A local fight promoter says Rajman's teammates at ATT are in shock.

UFC champions Amanda Nunes and Joanna Jedrzejczyk, as well as former heavyweight champ Junior dos Santos, are some of the gym's higher-profile members.

He said rumors that his age isn't accurate is the product of prejudice and stereotypes against Africans.

So, when we saw Ibaka over the weekend -- we asked if he had advice for other people in his shoes. He delivered some strong words.
