LeBron James decided to take his wife out on a fancy Hollywood dinner date Thursday -- and cruised up to the hottest restaurant in town in a sick $340k Rolls-Royce!!

Bron and Savannah hit up Catch in West Hollywood -- where every major star goes to eat and be seen (Sofia Richie, Shaun White and Brittany Snow were also in the restaurant last night).

The James' didn't do much talkin' ... but they made a helluva statement with their car! Our car experts tell us Bron was behind the wheel of a 2017 Rolls-Royce Dawn Drophead Coupe.

Enes Kanter says he'd probably be DEAD if he had been shipped back to Turkey after his passport was canceled last month ... claiming the Turkish govt. is out to kill him.

The OKC Thunder star (and outspoken critic of the Turkish govt.) was detained by police in Romania on May 20 -- and has now told Vice News the consequences would have been deadly if he had been sent back to his homeland.

"I would be in a jail and probably the second day you'll hear from the news, 'Oh, he just got poisoned and he just died. He got food poisoning.' Or, 'He was depression and hanged himself.'"

Kanter has referred to Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, as the "Hitler of our generation" -- and in turn, the govt. has labeled Kanter a terrorist and issued a warrant for his arrest.

UFC rising star Robert Whittaker is hungry to fight the best, and Michael Bisping AIN'T IT -- even though he's the champ in their division.

The way Whittaker sees it, Bisping's fragile ass hasn't done much of anything since winning the middleweight belt last year ... so he and Yoel Romero are fighting to see who's really #1 at UFC 213.

"I want to fight the top of the food chain," Bobby Knuckles told TMZ Sports. "Bisping's out ... he hasn't fought a dude in the top 10 in a long time."

Venus Williams flouted numerous traffic laws as she sped through an intersection and caused a crash that resulted in horrendous injuries to a married couple, killing the husband ... this according to a new wrongful death lawsuit.

Venus broke the law on June 9 by entering an intersection in Palm Beach County, and she failed to yield the right of way, blew through a red light, drove too fast while distracted, and recklessly created a situation where the accident was unavoidable ... this according to the lawsuit obtained by TMZ Sports.

TMZ Sports broke the story, 78-year-old Jerome Barson, a passenger in the car, died 14 days after the accident. Barson's wife, Linda, who was driving the Hyundai, was severely injured. According to the suit, the impact was so severe their car was "crushed, the front windshield shattered, the airbags deployed, there was crush damage to the rear on the driver's side, and the back window was shattered."

Jerome suffered massive internal bleeding, a fractured spine and massive internal organ damage. He was transported to an ICU unit where he lingered and died June 22. Linda, who survived, suffered a cracked sternum and multiple broken bones.

According to the suit, filed by the estate's attorney, Michael Steinger, the Barsons were married for more than 33 years ... and Linda watched her husband die on her 68th birthday.

The suit seeks unspecified damages for loss of companionship for both Linda and their family, loss of earnings, pain and suffering, and medical and funeral expenses.

Venus' rep claims she was only going 5 MPH and entered the intersection on a green light.

Legend respects legend.

Ex-NBA star Baron Davis' wife is subbing out of their marriage ... filing for divorce from the former All-Star, TMZ Sports has learned.

Davis has been married to Isabella Brewster-Davis -- sister of "Fast And Furious" star, Jordana Brewster -- since January 2014.

According to court docs filed in L.A. and obtained by TMZ Sports, Brewster-Davis filed legal docs last week to end the marriage citing irreconcilable differences. The date of separation was not listed.

The couple has two young kids together, a 2-year-old and a 1-year-old. Isabella has asked for primary physical custody but joint legal custody.

She's seeking an unspecified amount of spousal support. She also wants Baron to cover her legal costs.

Fun Fact: Isabella reportedly dated Bradley Cooper before getting hitched to Baron.

UFC badass Valentina Shevchenko is down to rumble with Ronda Rousey ... but don't get it twisted -- she's gotta put a beatdown on Amanda Nunes first.

Conor McGregor responded to Floyd Mayweather's insanely fast boxing training video with a clip of his own -- one that showcases his power.

While Floyd showcased blazing speed and quick footwork, Conor's training video was more focused on power shots ... particularly, a punishing uppercut.

Everyone keeps saying it's a matchup of speed vs. power (you've heard the "all it takes is one shot from Conor" argument) ... these videos seem to play right into that story line.

Conor issued a warning to Floyd -- "You've never seen these moves."

Is the trampoline park a cover for a secret strategic meeting? Maybe ... or maybe it's just a fun place to hang out.

Phoenix Suns star Tyson Chandler says he ain't gonna trash his old boss, Phil Jackson -- telling TMZ Sports the Zen Master "helped me out" by trading him from the Knicks to the Mavs back in 2014.

People trashed the trade back then (and now, too) -- when Phil dealt Chandler and Raymond Felton to the Mavs in exchange for Jose Calderon, Samuel Dalembert, Shane Larkin, Wayne Ellington and two 2nd round picks.

But Chandler ain't bitter about it -- saying, "He got me in a good situation!"

The soccer superstar reportedly used a surrogate to bake the kids -- who were born earlier this month. And now CR7 is sharing the first photo of the world's newest ultra-millionaire babies.

Ronaldo wrote, "So happy to be able to hold the two new loves of my life."

Reports out of Portugal say the twins are a boy and a girl named Eva and Mateo. Ronaldo hasn't officially confirmed that yet.

Ronaldo already has one son and his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, is reportedly pregnant with his child -- and is due to give birth in the next few months.

1:40 PM PT -- Venus is now breaking her silence ... calling the incident an "unfortunate accident" and insisting she explain what happened from her point of view.

"Ms. Williams entered the intersection on a green light," her attorney Malcolm Cunningham said.

"The police report estimates that Ms. Williams was traveling at 5 mph when Mrs. Barson crashed into her. Authorities did not issue Ms. Williams with any citations or traffic violations."

"This is an unfortunate accident and Venus expresses her deepest condolences to the family who lost a loved one."

Venus Williams caused a car accident that sent a 78-year-old man to ICU where he died 14 days later ... according to a police report obtained by TMZ Sports.

The driver of the other car -- the wife of the victim -- told cops she was approaching an intersection westbound in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida on June 9 when Venus' northbound SUV suddenly darted into the intersection. The other driver says there was no time to stop and she T-boned Venus' vehicle.

Venus told cops she was trying to make it through the intersection but there was a traffic backup and she had to slow down to a crawl, with her car exposed in the intersection.

The driver's husband, Jerome Barson, suffered head trauma and was taken to a hospital and placed in ICU. He never recovered and died 2 weeks later. Barson's wife was also taken to the hospital with broken bones and other injuries, but survived ... according to her attorney Michael Steinger.

Cops say Venus caused the accident. According to the police report, "[Venus] is at fault for violating the right of way of [the other driver]."

Police say in the report there was no evidence Venus was under the influence of drugs or alcohol. They also say there's no evidence she was distracted by an electronic device.

We reached out to Williams for comment -- so far, no word back.
