The couple got married at a fancy ceremony last weekend in South Carolina after dating for 2 years -- then jetted straight for a swanky resort, where their room is literally on the Indian Ocean.

Here's video of the moment Jeff Fisher told his Rams coaching staff he was just fired -- and Fisher was extremely emotional ... telling his coaches, "Sorry if I let you guys down."

The footage was shot during Week 14 of the 2016 NFL season (on or around Dec. 11) -- Fisher is breathing heavily and trying to collect himself before breaking the news in a team meeting room.

It's clear his staffers were completely blindsided by the announcement.

He promises he'll do everything he can to help get the other coaches new jobs.

In the video -- captured for this season's "All or Nothing" documentary on Amazon -- you can see assistant coach Mike Singletary walk up to Fisher to shake his hand and thank him.

The Rams have since replaced Fisher with 31-year-old Sean McVay. Fisher is currently unemployed.

Vanderbilt has suspended all 3 football players involved in a botched cell phone recovery incident -- in which 2 of the players were shot ... the school has confirmed.

As we previously reported, police say WR Donaven Tennyson rounded up two of his teammates to get back a stolen cell phone on Monday night. During the incident, one of the players pulled a pellet gun on the thieves -- but the thieves pulled REAL guns and opened fire, striking two of the players.

Cops are on the hunt for the thieves -- so far, no arrests have been made.

But Vandy head coach Derek Mason has announced Tennyson -- along with cornerback Frank Coppet and safety Tae Daley -- have been suspended from the team indefinitely.

FYI, Daley was shot in the leg from a pistol and Coppet was hit in both arms from the spray of a shotgun blast. Both are expected to be fine.

Floyd Mayweather admits he's not the same dominating boxer he was 20 years ago -- or even 5 years ago -- but he's still gonna beat that ass.

The 40-year-old boxer hit the gym Wednesday night to put in some more training time for Conor McGregor -- and posted video of his workout.

He included the caption, "I know I'm not the same fighter I was 20 years ago, I'm not the same fighter I was 10 years ago... As a matter of fact, I'm not the same fighter I was 5 years ago."

"I'm just an old legend putting in work in 16 oz gloves."

Floyd has broken down the shift in his fighting style for TMZ Sports before -- and says he went from knockout artist to defensive-minded boxer to protect his hands.

The photo went out on the Indianapolis Colts owner's Twitter page early Thursday morning -- but was promptly deleted 12 minutes later ... which is an eternity on the Internet.

The question ... was it an innocent mistake or was he actually HACKED?!

Doc Rivers says reports he shot down an opportunity to deal away his son, Austin Rivers, for Carmelo Anthony are pure BS ... telling TMZ Sports bluntly, "That's not true."

The Clippers honcho was leaving Madeo in Bev Hills Wednesday night when we asked if Chris Paul's departure meant it was a "sad day" for the team.

"I don't know if it's sad or not," Rivers said ... "We'll find that out."

He praised Paul as a "great Clipper" and added, "I wish Chris well."

Canelo Alvarez says there's only ONE way his fight with Gennady Golovkin's gonna end -- with GGG getting KNOCKED THE HELL OUT!

The boxing superstar tells TMZ Sports there's a ZERO percent chance their superfight goes the distance -- and there's "no doubt" Golovkin will hit the canvas for the first time in his career.

Canelo also says he ain't losing sleep over the Mayweather vs. McGregor fight being booked 3 weeks before his Sept. 16th brawl ... but says the move was straight disrespectful.

As for Bernard Hopkins, who told TMZ Sports Canelo will win by decision -- Alvarez has a message for him too.

"WWE Tough Enough 3" winner Matt Cappotelli says he's undergoing emergency brain surgery on Thursday after doctors found a "very large tumor" in his brain.

Cappotelli was diagnosed with a tumor in 2005 -- just a couple years after winning a WWE contract in the reality TV competition. His big break was coming ... but surgery forced him into retirement at age 27.

Everything seemed to be going well ... until the tumor returned.

"Waiting to be taken for my MRI and get prepared for my second brain surgery tomorrow," Cappotelli said in a statement Wednesday on his wife's Facebook page.

"Just found out the tumor that I had removed 10 years ago has come back much more aggressively and needs to be dealt with."

"It's a very large tumor and there is a portion that is inoperable."

"The portion that they're hoping to remove will be sent for pathology, which will determine what exactly we are dealing with and provide insight on future treatment plans and the next steps for the inoperable portion in my brain stem #John9:1-3."

Cappotelli was a tough S.O.B. on the reality show -- taking a beating from wrestling legend Bob "Hardcore" Holly ... and still coming back to win the show.

We rooted for him then. Rooting harder now.

It's a no-brainer according to Kenny "The Jet" Smith who tells TMZ Sports ... CP3 should probably get used to the sidekick role.

Smith says CP3 will undoubtedly elevate the Rockets to a new level -- but Harden is the "best scorer in the league" ... and thus, The Man.

An all-out chaotic brawl broke out between opposing fans at the Dodgers vs. Angels game Monday night ... leaving one fan with a bloody face.

It all went down in the pavilion section of Dodger Stadium when 2 fans started barking at each other ... but things quickly turned physical when they dragged each other to the ground and started throwing punches.

Other fans joined in by throwing haymakers and beers ... while a mother and her crying daughter try to separate themselves from the altercation just a few feet away.

Stadium security and off-duty cops broke up the fight ... but surprisingly, no arrests were made and the aggressors left the game on their own. A police report was not made for the incident.

Fat Joe is calling for MORE Knicks heads to roll ... saying Jimmy Dolan needs to put head coach Jeff Hornacek in the crosshairs after pulling the trigger on Phil Jackson.

"[Hornacek's] gotta go. Phil's gotta go ... they gotta get rid of everybody down with that regime," Joe tells TMZ Sports.

FYI, Fat Joe is diehard Knicks superfan -- LOVES 'EM -- and says he truly believes the man who can save his squad is ex-Golden State Warriors coach (and Knicks player) Mark Jackson.

"I'd hire Mark Jackson as coach," Joe says ... "That's the first move. And then it's a whole revamping situation."

One person at the club tells TMZ Sports there's a good reason Klay wasn't mobbed -- he had a full team of bodyguards watching his back so he could let loose.

Even President Donald Trump wants to know what's going on with LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers ... so, he went right to the owner and asked him.

Dan Gilbert happened to be at the White House Wednesday -- along with the Chicago Cubs (who are in town to play the Nationals) and Trump brought them all together for a high level introduction.

While introducing Gilbert to guys like Joe Maddon, Kris Bryant, Jon Lester and others ... he turned to Gilbert and asked how he's doing with LeBron James.

It appeared Gilbert responded, "Good, yeah."

Interesting situation for two reasons -- First, Bron isn't a Trump fan. Second, there's talk LeBron could leave Cleveland after next season.

Gilbert didn't drop any bombshells ... it was just interesting watching him handle that situation.

Eli Manning is a convicted road menace!

For real ... the NY Giants quarterback was in a New Jersey courtroom Wednesday where he was actually found GUILTY of the heinous crime of driving on the shoulder.

For shame!!!!!

TMZ Sports has confirmed Manning was pulled over on May 24 when cops saw him driving on the shoulder on the Jersey turnpike to get around bad traffic so he could get to the next off-ramp.

We're told he was cited for careless driving and ordered to appear in court -- where court officials tell us he pled guilty to obstructing the passage of other vehicles.

The punishment? An $89 fine. Boom.

Clearly, Manning wasn't too concerned -- he was cool and casual at the courthouse in his best Polo shirt, shorts and Nike combo ... with a baseball cap tucked in the back of his pants.
