LaVar Ball got a major stamp of approval from one of the biggest celebrity WWE super fans on the planet, Wale -- who tells TMZ Sports the Big Baller "f**king killed it" on 'Raw.'

Here's the deal ... Wale is such a huge wrestling fan, he once socked a dude in the FACE at a live event back in 2014. He takes this stuff seriously.

So, with some people tearing LaVar apart for his crazy topless cameo -- the rapper went to bat for the leader of the BBB ... saying he straight-up LOVED IT.

That said ... Wale says LaVar has limits when it comes to his career in the squared circle.

Zach Randolph doesn't want to leave Memphis for a super team ... he wants to bring the super team to Memphis!!

Z-Bo is entering free agency after 8 seasons with the Grizzlies and everyone wants to know what his next move is gonna be.

With "super teams" being the hot topic, we asked Randolph if he would consider pulling a Durant and joining a loaded squad like Golden State or Cleveland.

"Memphis," Randolph replied ... "We're gonna build a super team there!"

With Blake Griffin, Chris Paul and Gordon Hayward available, it's not completely out of the question ... though even Zach seems to acknowledge it's unlikely they'll end up in the BBQ capital of the world.

We also talked about his teammate, Vince Carter, who's 40 years old -- and Randolph told us he thinks Vinsanity can ball in the NBA for at least another 4 years!!!

Zach says they don't call him "Half man, half amazing" for nothing.

Serena Williams wins again -- in a big way -- stripping down to her pregnant birthday suit for the cover of Vanity Fair ... and she SLAYYYYYYED.

In the issue, the tennis superstar also details how she found out she was pregnant on the set of a lingerie shoot (she took 6 pregnancy tests!) and how she fell in love with her fiance, Alexis Ohanian.

Also, Serena revealed she knew she was pregnant when she decided to compete in the Australian Open back in January ... a tournament she dominated and won!

In fact, Serena says she expects to return to pro tennis as soon as January.

This is weird and fun ...

Taylor Swift just made a congratulations video for newly crowned NBA MVP Russell Westbrook joking with the guy like they've been buddies for years -- even though they've never met.

The Oklahoma City Thunder star got the award Monday night -- and hours later, Taylor released the video saying, "Russell, it’s Taylor. Remember? I was the one who taught you how to play basketball?"

She jokes that she taught him everything he knows about basketball ... he gave her the idea for "Shake It Off" ... and that they go back 20 years.

She then admits they've actually never hung out together once.

Kinda funny. Kinda weird. Kinda sweet.

What's interesting ... Taylor really hasn't done any public interviews or appearances since February -- so this is sorta like her reintroduction to the spotlight. Who'da thunk she woulda used the NBA as a way in?

LaVar Ball got really into his appearance at WWE Raw ... seeing how he took off his shirt and flexed for all of America Monday night.

LaVar was facing off against The Miz in the ring, and as soon as the wrestler mentioned he was the Michael Jordan of WWE ... LaVar was up and shouting. Nothing like a little MJ talk to get the Mr. Ball rolling.

At first, he tries to get his son, LaMelo, to handle the situation -- but Miz gets right in his face for some classic trash talk. Then Miz loses his shirt ... and LaVar does the same.

Make no mistake about it, Oscar De La Hoya is still pissed Dana White scheduled his superfight 3 weeks before Canelo vs. GGG ... but he's just taken the first step in repairing their friendship.

Long story short ... De La Hoya says White broke a very serious unwritten rule between fight promoters -- a rule everyone from Don King to Bob Arum hold sacred.

But despite their feud over the McGregor vs. Mayweather fight -- De La Hoya tells TMZ Sports he still "loves" Dana and even made a pretty solid peace offering.

No word if Dana will accept ... he's still pretty pissed too.

Phil Jackson's too damn old to lead an NBA franchise and it's high time the Knicks kicked his geriatric ass to the curb ... so says ex-NBA baller Kenyon Martin, who just LIT UP the Zen master.

We caught up with K-Mart hangin' with BIG3 teammate Al Harrington in NYC ... and when we asked the former Knick what he thought about the state of the current team ... he went nuclear.

It's official: The WWE is about to get body slammed by the Big Baller family.

LaVar Ball -- rockin' a fresh Triple-B tee -- was photographed backstage with WWE superstar Titus O'Neil at Staples Center ... confirming a ProWrestlingSheet report that Vince McMahon and co. had been recruiting the Ball fam for Monday Night Raw in L.A.

WWE announced that both Lavar and Lonzo would be guests on "Miz TV" ... a bit hosted by WWE intercontinental champ The Miz.

The Balls might not be the only stars in attendance ... there have also been rumors that Stone Cold Steve Austin could make a cameo.

Watch out for the stunner, LaVar!

Boxing legend Julio Cesar Chavez's brother, Rafael, was murdered in Mexico during a botched armed robbery ... local authorities announced Monday.

According to a Sinaloa state prosecutor, two men entered Rafael Chavez's Culiacan home Sunday night and demanded money. One of the men was armed.

During the robbery, Chavez resisted and was shot and killed in front of his family.

A judge has ordered Michael Floyd back to jail because he drank alcohol and violated the terms of his house arrest.

TMZ Sports broke the story ... Floyd tested positive for alcohol several times on June 11, and claims it was because he drank too much kombucha.

The Minnesota Vikings WR wasn't allowed to have a drop of alcohol while on house arrest stemming from a December DUI arrest.

According to ESPN's Josh Weinfuss, a judge found that Floyd was in violation, and sentenced him to 1 day in jail and 5 more days of house arrest.

Ahman Green's 15-yr.-old daughter told police her dad punched her in the face after an argument over doing the dishes -- but Green says that's not the whole truth ... this according to the criminal complaint obtained by TMZ Sports.

The ex-GB Packers RB was arrested Monday morning after cops responded to his Wisconsin home at 11:26 AM following a 911 call from a neighbor.

According to the complaint, Ahman's daughter says the 2 had been arguing all day long about chores -- she did not want to wash the dishes -- and tension mounted between her and Ahman.

Things came to a head, according to Green's daughter, when the ex-NFL star grabbed her, threw her to the ground and up against the kitchen cabinets ... before punching her in the face.

When cops arrived, officers noticed her left eye was "swollen, slightly black and blue, and had 2 minor scratches."

But Ahman tells a different story -- sorta.

According to the report, Ahman admits they were arguing, and things got physical. But insists he did not punch her. Instead he says he "slapped her upside the head" -- and her glasses caused the damage to her face.

He also admits he pushed her during the argument.

Basically, Green's defense is he was physically disciplining his child -- not abusing her.

Cops ultimately arrested Ahman -- he's since been charged with felony child abuse and disorderly conduct.

Attempts to reach Green have been unsuccessful.

Ice Cube's BIG3 league kicked off this weekend with its first games ... and with them came a gaggle of big-time A-listers to watch.

Cube held his first games Sunday in front of 15k fans at the Barclays Center in NYC, and besides the stars on the court, there were a ton of others in the stands. They included Whoopi Goldberg, LL Cool J, James Harden, Jalen Rose, Lou Williams, Paul Pierce, D'Angelo Russell, Naturi Naughton, Fabolous, Michael Rapaport and others -- most of whom got some shots in with Cube ... photos, that is.

The BIG3 league rolls on through the summer, and is scheduled to conclude with a championship game at the T-Mobile Arena in Vegas. Unless Floyd and Conor have something to say about it.

Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are calling themselves "Dad + Mom" -- but DON'T FREAK OUT ... they're not preggo!!!

The reality star posted some pics from her surprise 33rd bday party from over the weekend -- including an image of her and TT kissing with the caption, "Dad + Mom."

Khloe has recently talked about having kids with Tristan on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" -- saying, "He wants to have about five or six kids with me and that’s lovely. We could start at one and we could grow from there."

UFC face-breaker Cyborg Justino is digging in for a fight in her battery case -- pleading not guilty to a misdemeanor charge for allegedly attacking another UFC fighter at an athlete retreat back in May.

Justino was cited for battery for allegedly punching Angela Magana in the face at the UFC center in Vegas on May 21 after she confronted Magana about comments on social media.

Video surfaced of the confrontation between the two -- and while you don't exactly see Cyborg connect with the punch, you can definitely hear it.

If convicted, Cyborg faces up to 6 months behind bars if the judge really wanted to throw the book at her. She's due back in court in August.

But she may have other problems. Magana told TMZ Sports she plans on suing the UFC star and has already met with a lawyer.

UFC fighter Felice Herrig is taking the high road in her now infamous fight with Justine Kish -- saying she refuses to "talk s**t" about her opponent ... despite what happened in the Octagon.

Herrig tells TMZ Sports she actually really likes Kish a lot and feels bad that she's blowing up in the media because of Sunday night's poo incident on live TV.

She actually calls for MMA fans to lay off Kish -- saying she's a really cool girl who doesn't deserve to be dragged through the mud.

The good news for Herrig ... she's already focused on her next fight and says she wants to avenge the only UFC loss on her record to one of the biggest stars in the sport.
