We spoke with ex-MLB player Clay Bellinger -- who won 3 World Series during his pro baseball run -- and he tells us he's incredibly proud of his boy.

FYI, Cody has already blasted 18 home runs -- more than anyone else in the league since he was called up on April 25th. He's currently tied for 5th overall in HRs.

Ya gotta hear Clay gush about Cody's meteoric rise. It's awesome. Plus, Clay reveals the Dodgers legend who's really gone out of his way to help the kid.

Master P says he's well aware his 15-year-old son, Hercy, is one of the best teenage basketball players in the country, but tells TMZ Sports he doesn't care ... 'cause if the grades aren't right, hoops doesn't matter.

We talked to both P and Hercy fresh off jet from their last tournament, and the Ice Cream Man couldn't stop gushing about how his boy is killing it, but assured us the books come first.

"He's like top five in the country 8th grader about to be a 9th grader. But I'm a fan that he's an honor student and graduated with honors after 8th grade. I told him if you do your part in school, we'll support you in basketball."

P also dished to us about an upcoming charity game he's got poppin' in New Orleans later this month, where celebs like Trey Songz, Romeo, and Caron Butler are gonna be playing.

Hercy's playing too ... hope he doesn't embarrass those old guys.

Michael Floyd wants you to believe that he failed his alcohol test after a long night of watching movies and pounding kombucha tea ... and NOT because he was drinking booze.

The Minnesota Vikings WR issued a statement through his agent explaining why at least 4 of his breath tests were flagged for alcohol ... despite the fact he was ordered by the judge to refrain from taking a single sip while under house arrest.

Here's the explanation from his agent:

"On June 10, 2017, Michael watched movies at his place of residence until 3:00 a.m. During that time, he drank several bottles of kombucha tea drinks, unaware that the drinks contain alcohol."

"On June 11, 2017 at 5:30 a.m., Michael was tested and his blood alcohol content was .055. Michael was tested again at 5:54 a.m. and his blood alcohol content was down to .045. Michael was tested again at 6:23 a.m. and his blood alcohol content was .044. He then went back to sleep and missed a test at 6:33 a.m."

As we previously reported, kombucha is a fermented tea that contains a small amount of alcohol -- typically the same or less than a non-alcoholic beer.

Bad news for the rest of us -- Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are getting even more bronzed and beautiful than they already are.

The couple jetted off to the South of France, and boarded a yacht off Antibes for a day in the sun. J Lo wore a sexy, tiny crochet monokini, and A-Rod wore ... well, who really cares?

He did try some high diving off the deck, but the bigger point is they looked freakin' amazing while soaking up the R&R.

Well, good news ... it finally happened during a Legends Football League game.

The bad ass with the iron fist is Amanda Hogan -- a defensive back for the Omaha Heart who just got burned for a TD by the Pittsburgh Rebellion.

For some reason, injured Pittsburgh RB Sonia Osselborn -- leg brace and all -- came limping over to get in Hogan's face ... and that's when Hogan unleashed the fury.

The Omaha slugger uncorked a straight right, planting a disoriented Osselborn square on her butt.

If Conor McGregor doesn't put Mayweather on his ass in the first SIX rounds, he's dead in the water ... so says Dominick Cruz.

The UFC star/analyst says he's been racking his brain over the fight -- and says Conor has a real shot ... but he better act fast. The clock is his enemy.

No matter the outcome, Cruz says McGregor is doing MMA (and its fighters) a big favor.

Lonzo Ball just published an open and emotional Father's Day letter to his dad -- thanking him for everything in his life, advising him to ignore the critics and telling him that he loves him.

The entire letter -- addressed to LaVar Ball -- appeared on "The Players' Tribune" and is titled, "To the Loudest Guy in the Gym."

"One of the things I admire most about you is that you don’t really care what other people think. People can have whatever opinions they want about who you are as a person, but they’ll never have all the facts. They’ll never know you like I do."

Lonzo reflects on impactful family moments including workouts, road trips, basketball games and family breakfasts.

Lonzo says he knows he wouldn't be where he is in life without LaVar -- and brags about his 4.0 high school GPA, his basketball talent and his quiet confidence.

He also mentions repaying LaVar with a car or two once he signs his NBA contract.

UFC Hall of Famer Matt Hughes was badly injured in a car accident in Illinois on Friday when a truck he was in collided with a moving train, law enforcement tells TMZ Sports.

We're told the accident occurred at 10:39 AM. Law enforcement says 1 person was transported to a hospital with serious injuries. Dana White says that injured person is in fact Hughes.

Investigators are at the crash site trying to figure out what went wrong.

White says Hughes suffered head trauma and his family is on their way out to be with him.

Hughes is a UFC Hall of Famer -- a 2-time welterweight champion who beat stars like GSP, BJ Penn and Royce Gracie. He last fought in the UFC in 2011.

Earlier this year, he mulled a comeback.

Bad news for Michael Floyd ... the Minnesota Vikings WR tested positive for alcohol during his house arrest this week, TMZ Sports has learned -- and it could mean jail time for the NFL star.

A rep for the Scottsdale City Court confirms ... Floyd's alcohol monitoring system flagged 5 events during June 11th and 12th. At least three of the events were described to us as "high alcohol tests."

Floyd is not supposed to have a single drop of booze while on house arrest, as part of the sentencing in his Arizona DUI arrest from Dec. 2016, when he was found passed out behind the wheel of his car.

As we previously reported, Floyd begged the court to remove his alcohol monitoring ankle bracelet because it would hinder him from playing football. The judge granted the request but ordered Floyd to undergo random breath tests.

A court rep tells us Floyd blamed the positive tests on Kombucha -- a fermented tea that contains a very low amount of alcohol. Typically, Kombucha contains equal or less alcohol than a non-alcoholic beer.

The issue for Floyd ... his alcohol tests all came back showing a B.A.C. of between .044 and .055, which would be hard to do on Kombucha alone. He also skipped one of his breath tests altogether.

If the court rules he violated the terms of his house arrest, Floyd could be ordered back to jail.

He's due back in court on June 26th. We reached out to Floyd's camp for comment. So far, no word back.

10:33 AM PT -- Floyd denies any wrongdoing saying, "Totally false. The whole thing is false."

Despite his claims, the Scottsdale City Court records show he's due in court on June 26th for an "Order to Show Cause" hearing.

And furthermore, Floyd's house arrest was scheduled to end Friday -- but in light of the flagged tests, he will remain on house arrest at least until the June 26 hearing, so says a rep for Scottsdale City Court.

Andre Ward is fired up his good friend, Kevin Durant, will be ringside for his rematch with Sergey Kovalev ... telling TMZ Sports the NBA Finals MVP has been pushing him to dominate.

Ward says he and KD are so close, they were texting back and forth during the NBA Finals -- sending pump-up messages to each other for their respective battles.

Ward says he's not only inspired by his fellow Roc Nation athlete, but his presence alone at the fight will force him to up his game -- admitting he fights better in front of big celebrities.

Kovalev has some famous friends too -- telling TMZ Sports some of the most famous Russian athletes on the planet will be in Vegas to support him ... but they gotta pay for their own damn tickets.

The Diesel put his stroke on display during a shootaround session with Home Team Hoops -- draining 3 point shots from all over the court.

At one point he calls himself, "Black Steph Curry."

For the record, Shaq only made one 3 point shot during his entire NBA career -- but judging by this video, maybe they shoulda let him shoot more?!

In all seriousness, Shaq looked pretty good on the court -- dunking, shooting, moving ... even busting out the LeBron James signature celebration move.

The estranged wife of Serena Williams' father says she had to remove an "arsenal of firearms including an AK-47" from their home in fear he could harm her or their 5-year-old kid.

Lakeisha Juanita Williams has filed explosive new court docs in her divorce from Richard Williams -- her husband of 7 years -- claiming he's been acting "erratic and hostile" and she's afraid.

Richard initially filed for divorce last month accusing Lakeisha of being an alcoholic and stealing money -- allegations she adamantly denies in her response, obtained by TMZ Sports.

In fact, 38-year-old Lakeisha claims she's been essentially raising their child on her own because 75-year-old Richard refuses to get involved. She says school officials, teachers and doctors will corroborate her claims.

Lakeisha also says he's afraid Richard will go all "scorched Earth" on her to retaliate for airing their issues in court. She claims Richard will essentially cut her off financially.

With just 10 weeks to go, Floyd Mayweather is rapidly booking the undercard for the Mayweather vs. McGregor superfight ... and he's already got one boxer locked in, TMZ Sports has learned.

We've confirmed super middleweight rising star J'Leon Love will fight on August 26 -- Floyd is still trying to lock in his opponent.

Love is a member of Floyd's TMT boxing team. He's got a 23-1-1 record. Love also happens to be one of Floyd's good friends. And he dated Blac Chyna back in 2015 (though they never consummated their relationship).

We broke the story ... as part of the negotiations with the UFC, Dana White agreed to let Mayweather book the entire undercard.

Steph Curry touched down in Hollywood on Thursday -- and hit the L.A. club scene with Drake's dad ... and TMZ Sports has the video.

The Golden State Warriors star hit up the restaurant, Delilah with his wife, Ayesha, and some friends to party with the likes of Utah Jazz star Rudy Gobert and others.

There was even a cameo by the sick gold Bugatti that Jamie Foxx was driving around in recently -- unclear if Foxx made it to the party.

Drake's dad told us the rapper was in the building -- he rented out a private room (why not?).

As for Steph's teammates -- a bunch of the guys, including Draymond Green and Kevin Durant -- flew to Vegas and partied with G-Eazy Thursday night.

We're told they're expected to be VIP guests at the Ward-Kovalev fight on Saturday.

Boxing superstar Amir Khan says he easily could've destroyed all 3 men who got aggressive with him during a road rage incident in the U.K. on Friday ... but quickly realized he had way too much to lose.

Khan tells TMZ Sports ... three hecklers "tried to attack me" while he was driving around in Greater Manchester, England. Cops responded to the scene. No one was arrested.

"I was raging, I was really angry," Khan admits ... but says "I don't want to throw punches because I can definitely hurt someone quite badly."

"My hands are weapons. They're weapons."

Khan also says his religion played a huge role in his decision to walk away.

"It's the month of Ramadan ... It's a holy month. I'm a Muslim."

Capitol Police officer David Bailey -- one of the heroes who took out shooter James T. Hodgkinson -- opened the Congressional Baseball game with an emotional ceremony.

Officer Bailey came out on crutches at Nationals Park, yet still managed to throw out the first pitch. Bailey was injured while responding to the shooting Wednesday morning, and eventually helped take down Hodgkinson.

Before the game began, both teams -- Republicans and Democrats -- huddled up for a group prayer for the victims of the shooting. Rep. Steve Scalise was supposed to be playing in the annual event, but is still recovering after multiple surgeries.

The game helped raise a record amount of money for charity.
