FOX AND THE WOLF

There are a lot of reasons to be jealous of Zach LaVine -- the dude's rich, he's freakishly athletic, and most importantly ... he's got a smokin' hot girlfriend.

TMZ Sports met up with LaVine and girlfriend Hunter Mar outside TAO in L.A. Thursday night, giving us the perfect opportunity to showcase his high school sweetheart.

20-year-old Mar is an athlete herself -- she played college soccer at Seattle U. -- and has been tied to LaVine since their days in Washington.

Oh, and by the way ... we talked to LaVine about the car Derek Fisher wrecked in his DUI accident being registered to Matt Barnes ... that's cool, too.

Tiger Woods Told Cops He Popped Xanax

Published | Updated

Tiger Woods told arresting officers he'd taken Xanax the night he was pulled over for DUI ... which has only now been revealed by an unredacted copy of the police report.

In previous police docs, Tiger had copped to 4 other meds -- Solarex, Vicodin, Torix and Vioxx ... which he said he hadn't taken this year. There was no mention of Xanax.

However, the new unredacted document -- first obtained by Golf Channel -- makes it clear ... when the officer asked Tiger if he'd taken any medication he stated Xanax.

It's unclear why that drug was initially concealed in the report, but it helps support Tiger's original statement in which he said he'd had "an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications."

There was no clear danger in combining the 4 drugs originally listed -- however, Vicodin and Xanax is a whole different story. The FDA warns combining Xanax with opiods can result in "profound sedation, respiratory depression, coma and death."

First, Ariana Grande brought the love, and now a bunch of naked people on bicycles -- looking like '60s flower children -- are pumping up spirits in Manchester.

On the heels of Ariana's Manchester One Love concert ... the World Naked Bike Ride rolled through the UK city Friday. It's not necessarily the same spectacle as Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Coldplay onstage -- but it's definitely something to see.

One thing's for sure ... seats were better at the concert. Less sticky too.

THAT'S LIFE

With soccer superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic getting his walking papers from Manchester United, we asked famed soccer fan (and ex-player) Vinnie Jones if he had any thoughts for the guy.

"Sh*t happens," he told us.

Then Jones proceeded to fat shame our camera guy.

(Don't worry, our guy is tough. He can take it.)

FYI, before Jones became a big Hollywood star in movies like "Snatch" and "X-Men: The Last Stand" -- he played pro soccer ... and even had a stint on the Wales national team.

As for Zlatan, he was released by the club after 1 season in which he badly injured his right knee. He's still recovering.

LeBron James On Return To Cavs: 'My Mom Was Like, F*** That'

Published | Updated

LeBron James says Cavs owner Dan Gilbert "completely bashed" him in that infamous 2010 letter about LBJ leaving for Miami ... and Bron says it was so disrespectful, it almost stopped him from returning to Cleveland in 2014.

LeBron opened up about the letter on Uninterrupted's "The Shop" -- which was shot during All Star Weekend but released Friday.

Gilbert's letter was loaded with insults -- even referring to LeBron as the "self-titled former King."

In the video, LeBron says Gilbert "completely bashed me and disrespected not only me as an individual but disrespected my name. And my name is not just myself, it's my wife, my kids, my grandfather, my mother, so many more people."

Bron goes on to say the letter was so hurtful, when the opportunity came to return to the Cavs in 2014, his family members were adamantly against it.

"My wife was like, 'f*ck that. I ain't with that' ... My mom was definitely like, 'f*ck that. We ain't going back.'"

But James ultimately says his return was about "the bigger picture" and wanted to be an inspiration to the people of The Land, despite his family's wishes.

¡NO BUENO!

TMZ Sports has obtained new footage of the Rex & Rob Ryan bar fight in Nashville -- which shows Rex cussing out a bar patron and then spilling a margarita on the guy.

It all went down Sunday at Margaritaville -- you can see Matt Havel chatting up the ex-NFL coaches and another man at the Ryans' table ... until Havel said something that set Rex off.

Unclear what Matt said ... but Rex blows up at the guy. Rob shoves him. And while Rex grabs the guy's drink to move it to another table, someone bumps his elbow ... and Matt gets splashed with booze.

The fight quickly escalated ... with Rob eventually grabbing Matt by the neck.

Havel later filed a police report accusing both brothers of simple assault.

That said ... props to the singer who continued to play a pretty solid rendition of the Kenny Rogers classic, "The Gambler" while the scrap broke out.

John Madden Marshawn Could Be Huge for Raiders

Published | Updated

John Madden says Marshawn Lynch could be a game changer for the Oakland Raiders -- and kinda took a shot at Pete Carroll in the process!

The NFL legend and former Raiders coach was asked why bringing Beast Mode to the Silver and Black would be a big deal. Here's what he said:

"One of the worst things in pro football now is short-yardage and goal line offense," John said.

"Teams can’t get 1st downs by running and they get down on the goal line and they’re down there on the 1-yard line throwing the ball! What’s that about?!"

BOOM! (Super Bowl 49 anyone?)

"I think if Marshawn Lynch can take them out of that, if he can get 1st downs on third downs, and if he can get touchdowns on goal line, that’ll be a great big deal for the Raiders."

Clearly, Kimbo made an impression on Baby Slice -- he's an MMA fighter too and just racked up his first pro victory at Bellator 179 back in May.

Ray Rice Speaks to Ravens Rookies ... Learn From My Mistakes

Published | Updated

Ray Rice returned to the Baltimore Ravens this week -- not as a player, as a mentor -- giving advice to the team's rookies so they don't screw up like he did.

The 30-year-old ex-NFL running back has been on a speaking tour for years -- talking to college and pro athletes in the hopes of using his experience to steer people away from making bad decisions.

It's the 2nd year in a row Rice has given a talk to Ravens rookies -- last year he spoke about being professional and accountable, according to The Baltimore Sun.

It's further proof Rice and the Ravens have repaired the rift that was created after he was fired in 2014 for striking his then-fiancee in a casino elevator.

As for Rice's football career, we're told he still believes he can play -- but it seems pretty obvious he's moving on with his life.

NO ONE ELSE BUT ME

Another big star calling "fake news" on a major newspaper -- with Dana White saying reports he's not involved in the Mayweather vs. McGregor talks are complete BS.

The UFC honcho was at Mastro's in Bev Hills on Thursday when we asked about a Los Angeles Times article that says it's the UFC's ownership group (WME-IMG) and NOT White currently involved in negotiations.

"We live in a world right now where you can't believe anything that you read," White said in a shot at the L.A. Times ... "Who else would be running the Mayweather, McGregor deal than me?"

When we asked if WME was running point, White told us, "What does WME know about making big fights?"

"Trust me, I'm running the Mayweather, McGregor deal."

Of course, Dana's tirade came hours after James Comey blasted the NY Times over allegedly untrue reporting. White's a Trump guy. Maybe the two sides have more in common than we thought.

BULLS ALL THE WAY

John Salley vehemently refuses to even entertain the idea that the '17 Golden State Warriors have passed the '96 Chicago Bulls as the greatest team ever.

Salley -- who played with Michael Jordan on the legendary '96 Bulls team -- was leaving Craig's in WeHo when we had to ask straight-up: could Steph Curry and Kevin Durant have beaten M.J. and Scottie Pippen?

Salley: "Are you kidding me!?"

He breaks down the matchup -- player by player -- and scoffs at the idea that Steph would shoot the Bulls outta the arena.

"He wouldn't be allowed to dribble. Steve Kerr would've been ... my God, we would've been all over that guy. No way."
